I had a problem with the the bracket that holds it to the windscreen. seemed to be a reaction to the heat from the Sun. It fell of twice, thats a bit unhandy ! However when I contacted the company, VICKY whom I dealt with could not have been more helpful , actually finished up sending me a new bracket. Fabulous service. If only there were more like Vicky in this world today.!! Thanks again.
yep this is a good little system. If you are not interested in recording then this great. I needed one that would support two cameras. I put the camera that comes with it in the front and the second camera in the back. I needed the back to have priority and for that I should have put the camera that comes with it in the back and put the second camera in the front. Problem for me now is that I need to press the button on the Monitor to switch the back camera.
I can resolve this by swicthing the cameras which I need to get round to.
All in all for the price a great little unit.

I’ve looked for a long time for a wireless camera solution that can cope with my massive twin axle caravan. This is it.
Standard car set up is very easy and the supplied cable on the rear camera is more than long enough to fit. I placed mine inside the rear tail gate so it doesn’t get covered in muck which works fine.
Picture quality is very good and wide enough view without being distorted.
The second camera option is the main reason I got this though.
Having a constant rear view while towing makes it so much easier and safer and this kit works really well. Knowing there isn’t a car tucked up behind when making lane changes and knowing you have fully passed slower traffic is a huge bonus.
I added the extra camera and the aerial extension from auto-vox. In addition I added two 2 metre 4pin cable extensions that sit between the extra camera and the transmitter. This meant that the transmitter is now directly under my battery box and very easy to wire in to pins 9/13 where the caravan power cable meets the junction box.
The distance from the external aerial to the camera transmitter is now only 4 meters so no different to a standard setup on a long car.
Picture is very slightly jerky at motorway speed (60mph) but way better than anything else I’ve tried and the image quality is so much better than the 5″ screen hard wired kit I was using before (and having to manually connect every time I hooked up).
Over all highly recommend and more than tolerant to adding extension cables to meet the most challenging of installation.
Had 2 of these for customers motorhomes, worked perfect every time and easy to set up.
I was dubious about this camera but it is great. It has been easy to install and works both well with front and back cameras. Makes parking so easy. No need to keep jumping in and out of the car to check if to near the car behind or in front. Vision is very good and although the screen is larger than I thought it fits perfectly on the front screen where the old tax disc used to be. Would recommend this item.
Got this for my caravan thourght might have trouble with signal as my van is over 7mts, and receiver was on windscreen of my kia sorento. Shouldn’t have been worried as Vidio quality is OK no signal issues. It has a slight lag but OK for reversing and seeing what’s behind you. I have mine on all the time caravan is hitched to car. Used 15amp fuse in van marked car using a piggy back fuse. Hope this helps. Not bad for price.
I like the camera and the easy fitting, but most of all I like the excellent customer service from this company, Gigi who dealt with my query was outstanding, even contacting me when She hadn’t heard back from me to confirm that everything was working okay, best customer service I have ever known.
This item along with an additional camera was purchased, the main unit is easy to install, has a large and bright display which can be powered via cigarette lighter within vehicle. Camera’s require a little bit more work but are easy enough to achieve operation. We did have some issues with the front camera pairing however Gigi from AutoVox was there to help and assisted to resolve the issue in a timely manor. Customer Service is superb if you ever need to reach out to them. Quality of the cameras are great and has provided that extra bit of confidence for my mother in maneuvering her car into tighter parking spots especially in the evenings. Recommended product if looking for a simple yet effective camera system for your vehicle. – Please note: this camera unit does not provide any recording / storage of videos, it’s live footage only.
A great product that can be used as a rear view camera, not just reversing. Very easy to install and set up.
We purchased this to set up and use as a rear view mirror in the motorhome. We have positioned the camera on the spare wheel cover on back of van so about half way up the rear panel. This was mainly so the wires to the electrics were hidden behind the cover and wired into the reg plate lights.
Our van is a little over 8m long.
The screen is fitted via double sided velcro and a couple of tiny cable ties just to be sure it stays, on the rear view mirror. It’s a tidy job and non of the wires interfere with vision out of the front window or the internal remis blinds.
For someone who can turn their hand, fitting of camera and screen was easy, no drilling required.
The camera works perfectly giving enough rear viewing for reversing maneuvers alongside the standard fit reversing camera which is at a higher level on the back panel but also what’s behind me that my wing mirrors don’t pick up.
I would highly recommend this set up.
Fitted to a sprinter van, camera easy to fit, put mine above the rear doors. Screen easy to fit as well, mounted it where rear view mirror would be and tucked cable behind trim. Great picture and good wide angle view.
I bought the solar powered version because of the simplicity of the install. I soon realized that where I lived the solar charger would not work very well. This version is better as it haves a much brighter visual quality (it might be a product issue). All you need is a stiff piece of wire, I stripped out a mains cable but a wire coat hanger will do and fed it through the bodywork near the rear reversing light. Taped the wires together and pulled them through the body work. Once the wires were connected I was very pleased.
I was fitting this to a Land Rover Defender which is high off the ground, and doesn’t have a rear bumper. So I found the various options for fitting it really useful, also the ability to pan and tilt the camnera. It was very easy to fit. Worked first time, no problem. I like the product.

This took minutes to install in my van, though I have it hooked up to an always-on power source, not the reverse light as it’s useful to have a bit of extra rear visibility. Makes reversing a doddle and the image never drops or suffers interferance.
I’ve used it a handful of times now and it is definately worth the price compared to the other wireless cameras available.
My install was right in the edge of its range as we have the camera mounted on quite a large trailer. During the first few trips I noticed the picture dropping in and out. Initially not sure what it was but soon realised the screen unit and the camera transmitter were just over the range of 4m. I purchased the external antenna, which was really very cheap, and this has resolved all image issues.
The only issue I have had that was beyond my control was condensation forming inside the camera which produced a blur on the screen. An email to Auto-vox however resulted in a replacement camera arriving three days later – great service so thank you.

I installed 2 cameras and the screen to my Chevrolet Lumina SS. It worked fine and was easy to install. After around 3 months the screen started to turn off after about 20 mins of driving. I contacted Auto-Vox customer service and within 24 hours Vicky had shipped be a brand new screen and camera.
I told Vicky I now lived in Dubai and would need to get the product forwarded from my Amazon.co.uk delivery address to my address in Dubai and she even arranged to credit me with the shipping fee to get this delivered.
Excellent customer service all round and after I explained the problem to them they reacted quickly and treated me very well. I can thoroughly recommend the product, however the customer service when there was an issue was even better.
The initial installation prove problematic as the camera proved to be faulty but after an email to China a wonderful lady called Vicky got me a replacement camera delivered next day without a single quibble. The system is now working perfectly on my Motorhome and it is brilliant. Unbelievable service and from such a distance!!
I have fitted a 2 camera system in a horse trailer (Ifor Williams HB511).
One camera is inside so that the horsecan be seen. I powered this from the trailer side lights.
The second is on the rear of thetrailer as a reversing safety aid and is powered from the reversing light.
I put the reversing camera on channel 1 so this shows by default when reverse gear is selected.
The horse camera is on channel 2 and is on providing the side lights are on. If you have a 13 pin towing pin with accessory power it could also be linked to that. (you do need a trailer that has 13 pin power with reversing light – the old 7 pin wouldn’t be so efficient [but would work] as you would have to change cameras manually)
I use 2 different cars for towing so the wireless feature is excellent. It is simple to move the head unit between vehicles.
I was worried about the distance between the head unit and the trailer rear camera but the signal and picture quality is great.
All in all I thoroughly recommend! 10 stars.
There are 2 problems when towing a trailer, especially if rear view of the towing vehicle is restricted — monitoring the trailer when on the move, and reversing.
I’ve used a wired camera previously but this has obvious issues with routing the cable, and more so if you use more than one towing vehicle. It is also very difficult or impossible to get a camera on the back of the trailer. I’ve experimented with wireless cameras but the picture from the end of the trailer is often ‘jittering’ or pixelating.
Bought this wireless rear view and a 2nd camera and problem solved!!
What you get
The camera outfit comes with screen and one camera plus all cables to install (the cables are long!) The 2nd camera is extra but if you get the kit first it includes a good discount voucher for next purchase! The screen has an accessory plug fitted; the cameras have bare wires (not surprising as expected to be wired into reversing lights.) I soldered on accessory plugs and also shortened the cables.
My setup
Because I want to use with 2 towing vehicles, I didn’t want anything permanent. So the screen is mounted on a dashboard ‘bean bag’ and plugs into the accessory socket. I wanted 1 camera on the roof of my Freelander, so made my own brackets (not necessary as some are supplied) and used so called ‘rare earth magnet’ for mounting, threading the cable through the tailgate to an accessory socket. A similar mounting for the camera at the back of the trailer which I plug into the quad I’m carrying. I will add a waterproof accessory socket to the trailer rear lights for general use.
The Good
– It works a treat! The image is not HD but is just fine for rear monitoring. There is no jitter, pixilation, or shimmer up to 60mph (the legal limit for towing unbraked trailer)
– The rear trailer camera is 7+ m from the camera, is not line-of-sight and is obstructed by the load but also work just fine
– The ability to invert, add/ remove parking lines, make forward/ rear facing view means it is suitable for almost any application.
– The screen is clear with a bright image (not tested in darkness yet)
– After sales support for a couple of questions was excellent
The neutral
– The camera connects to a wireless transmitter, then a 12v regulator and then to power. It is not waterproof from the transmitter onwards (not unexpected as designed for in-car reversing, not external.) If I need to use in bad weather then the transmitter etc will be put in a poly bag.
– To switch cameras, you need to press and hold the down button on the right side of the screen — so need to position screen where you can reach it
The not so good
– None for my application
In conclusion – a difficult problem solved and much safer reversing

Bought this for our new horsebox (7.5T compact). 1st camera installed on rear plate and connected to the reverse light. 2nd camera in the horse area and connected to an internal light there (these are on when the headlights are on)
So, when the lorry is running and the lights are on, we can see the horses…….as soon as you engage reverse, the monitor switches to the reversing camera……out of gear, back to horse cam – simples!
Setup of overlay only on reverse camera works a treat.
Very happy with this product…..am installing one for a friend at the same yard this week, as she was so impressed.
I selected this reversing camera for my VW Crafter camper conversion for two reasons; I wanted a wifi reversing camera so I didn’t need to thread the wiring through the inside of the van, and I was thinking i might like to add a second camera to point down at the front passenger wing to give me a bit of visibility when turning in and out of gateways etc. The AutoVox W7Pro allows both of these.
When I received the camera and screen (and all the bits and pieces needed to fit it), the instructions were clear. Once I had fitted and tested it, I decided to purchase a second camera. Vicky at the Vox-pro service team was really prompt in dealing with my enquiry about an order.
I did have a little difficulty wiring up the second camera but that was my own fault – not being an electrician I thought an easy route would be to use a USB supply which would allow me to just plug in cam 2 when I wanted it, once again Vicky at the service team was really helpful and we identified that the supply wasn’t sufficient. I have now wired the second cam into the feed to the overhead interior light console, and fitted a simple in-line switch to turn it on and off when required. Great product, good quality, decent price, helpful service team – what more could you want?
Towing a Celtic Rambler 5th wheel is a delight with my new wireless camera. Even with my extended mirrors I could not see in the blind spot behind the caravan. I have wired my camera into the side lights as I always have them on when towing, so I now have the ultimate rear view mirror. Reversing is stress free as is overtaking as I know exactly when I am clear to pull back in. So easy to fit on the back of the van and installing the monitor alongside my interior mirror ensures no loss of forward vision. I am now about to order a second camera to install at the front of my Nissan Navara pick up to tackle the blind spot at the front. Excellent bit of kit, throughly recommend you fit one.
Bought this for my old q7, the parking sensors had been messed with and I wanted to have something for parking and towing a caravan, I bought the kit and a extra camera, the installation is pretty easy, I chose to wire the camera to the side lights so I can see the caravan hitch and also the small trailer I have, the second camara am going to fit to the rear of the caravan. All in all decent kit works fine would recommend to anyone.
I purchased this plus an additional camera for using on my horse trailer, one camera to view the horses in transit and the second as a reversing camera. The first camera was already paired with the monitor on arrival and worked straight away. We had a bit of trouble getting the second camera to pair but a message to Vicki at the sellers company was very quickly responded to with some advice on pairing which worked straight away
I put this camera on the back of a 14ft catering trailer with the antenna inside the trailer. I was a little unsure if it would work with the thickness of the trailer walls and the receiver in the car but it did. Brilliantly.

Very pleased with this product. I have just changed my car to a Landrover discovery 3 and found rear visibility not very good. Fitting it was extremely easy as I just used parts of a 7s plug and connected to the towbar electrics. There is a slight delay between selecting reverse and getting a clear picture but that is fine as far as I am concerned. The main reason I got it was for safety and it certainly increases my confidence in tight spaces.
i have had this a while now and have been useing it setup as a rear view rather than a second internal mirror and altho not meant for this job it works great even in the last sunny spell we had it worked without fault and will bying a second one when funds allow.
if setting up as a reverse camera only it is a simple task that only took about 20 minutes it gives excelent view to the rear and has a nice wide view too my only complaint if i were to have one is that the monitor plugs into the cigaret lighter socket and i would prefer i had a hard wire kitt for the monito

I requested some advise regarding using the camera on the back of a caravan, to which the response was swift and based on that I ordered the unit. I’ve not had the opportunity to try the unit in anger as this requires drilling a hole in the back of the ‘van and getting the power to it. However, I tried a temporary fit whilst on the drive and at a distance of about 12 meters between camera and screen, the picture was clear and stable – especially considering the price of the unit. Once I have fitted the camera permanently I’ll update the rating as appropriate.
Kit arrived very quickly .Vicky at Auto vox was very helpful and polite . I fitted this kit to my Nissan Navara truck ,it was very easy to do as I have some practical ability but would be very straightforward for anyone who follows the clear instructions .All the components are good quality and the sucker to hold the screen really grips well and does not constantly fall off like my sat nav one does . Once powered up it was all good to go ! Very pleased with this item enables me to see very clearly when reversing up to connect to the various trailers that I pull and has a good field of vision for general reversing ,night vision is pretty good also .
I bought this with the extra front camera. Everything was easy to install and works perfectly. I took the power for the front camera from the spotlights. To activate the front camera I just turn on the spotlights.

Good quality in picture and relatively easy to install though I would suggest having a multimeter to check cabling.
Fitted to my Renault Trafic, ideal to replace rear view mirror being a van.
My only issue was the length of the cabling for the camera, too short to get from number plate into pillar for reverse light. Luckily had some extra to extend.
Bought this to fit to our Panel Van Conversion motorhome. For those not familiar the only place to mount the camera is on the number plate mounted on the left hand door, which has a full length internal moulding glued to the door frame! Only way to get the camera cable through without wrecking the rear door was to feed it thru the door via small aperture available behind the number plate light. Luck let we own a 4.5mm endoscope so were able to find a route thru the door to the point where the wire tray serving the number plate light carries power into the rear light cluster, which is also behind internal plastic panels!! Opted to connect power to the camera via the rear light cable rather than the reversing light, that way the camera gives rear vision when lights and ignition are on, because there is VERY restricted rear view due to the motorhome furniture. The kit contains all that is required and being wireless saves trying to route a hard wire cable thru a 6m van. Overall installation time was four hours but very pleased with the result.
Had a problem syncing the second camera with the monitor. Contacted customer support and a nice lady called Vicky gave me some info that wasn’t in the manual for the monitor, I.e. you have to turn the power off for the first camera before attempting to synchronise the second one. After that all worked well. Happy that customer service lived up to its name for once!

Have only fitted the rear camera so far was waiting for connecting cable for fuss box for front camera. The rear camera is so easy to fit , the hardest part is located the right wire. Picture quality is very good. And all you do with the monitor is stick it to your windscreen and plug into a 12v socket and go. Or in my case that fine just now but will connect to the fuss box when I have more time.

Bought this for my father in law. He has a milk float style truck which he uses to carry building materials about for the work that he does. Backing it up particularly into our driveway has always been a problem for him. I bought this for him for his birthday after recently reversing his truck into his own BMW(!).
This handy little device, although expensive(!), works very well. Fitting it was simple (with my help) and it is easy to adjust. Once you connect up the monitor you just need to attach the camera to vehicle number plate and connect that up to the reversing light.
The wireless signal is always consistent and the camera and mount are both tough and durable, and most importantly, waterproof. The video is clear with handy lines to indicate how close you are to objects. Highly recommend this overall.

Ok so I purchased this Wireless Reversing Camera for my mother qho has recently has a bump in her car. She managed to reverse into a pillar on her drive and it has knocked her confidence a bit. I thought this might help her so went ahead with the purchase.
The first thing I did was to place the screen where she wanted it in the car and route the cable to the cigarette socket. Then I placed the reversing camera in the right place on her rear bumper and routed the cable inside the boot where I could hide the adapter and wires. I then managed to wire the camera to the reversing light using the included clamps which were amazing by the way. Once I had all of this done I was amazed at how well it works and how clear the picture quality was.
Overall I am absolutely delighted witth how easy this was to install and how good the picture quality is. For these reasons I have deiced to rate it 5 stars, great product in my opinion.

The AUTO-VOX W7PRO was even easier to fit than the M1W as the transmitter for the AUTO-VOX W7PRO is integrated into the camera (a much more compact, neater installation)
The camera is mounted behind the number plate with the self adhesive pad provided with the kit (connect one wire to earth and one to the reverse light.)
Mount the monitor on the dashboard (easy stick on pad provided in the kit)
Plug the monitor into the vehicle auxiliary socket and the set up is complete!
The monitor is a good size for use without being intrusive.
This system enables the safe reversing of any size of vehicle (to within 30cms of any obstacle) using the grid shown on the monitor.
This equipment is very much an added safety device,especially on larger vehicles.
I purchased this item following the death of my cheapo rear view camera which although was ok, it did lack visual quality.
I did some research and came across the W7PRO which looked like it should far exceed my old unit in terms of connectivity and visuality quality.
Delivery was prompt, well packaged and looked well made, fitting was simple and very quick to do.
Initial impressions were very positive, the camera and screen are both excellent and the HD image sharp and clear both at night and in the day time.
Unfortunately I did uncover a small niggle so I contacted Auto-Vox support (Vicky) who was wonderfully responsive and helpful and who decided a replacement unit was required. This replacement was delivered promptly and works nicely.
This was super easy to install in my Ford Galaxy 2007 car. The reversing lights are on the read boot so only about 1m of cable routing required, I have to bend the mount a little to get it to the optimal position to sit above the number plate. The screen is responsive and not laggy like some other products, definitely worth a look if you’re in the market for a product like this.

I’m very happy with this product. I’ve set up on back of 7m caravan as an always on rear view/reversing camera. Initially I wired up to a cigarette power plug and plugged into the caravan 12v system but didn’t realise this system is inactive when connected the car power supply. I then wired into the orange side lights so now the camera is on when the side lights are on. No problem with signal range from rear of caravan to front of Ford Ranger truck. Very happy with product and set up. Gives a good view of overtaking vehicles and people pulling up close to rear of caravan.

I am really happy with it because so easy to install as it’s comes wireless so need to plug and connect.plus the picture quality is amazing too,very helpful, very easy to park my car with the help of this camera show every thing clear.
The price is ok,the only problem is I have to buy an other came for the front.
To avoid damaging my car or other’s , I have installed this smart little camera on my tail , just above the number plate .
So far , I’m happy with what this camera can do and I enjoy using it
It is easy to fix , I use mine connected to cigarette socket, and the camera will just send the live video wirelesly
The picture quality is good and the streaming is continuous, without interruption or lagging. There is room for the second camera on display, but the pack only contains 1 camera (the main one for reversing )
Speaking about the camera , it’s waterproof and can easily be used day or night.
The display comes with helping grid lines , but it’s a standard on/off function , it cannot be adjusted or modified in any way
Overall, I’m happy with this reverse camera and fits my purpose of using it completely !
It tends to be a little above the average market price for this cameras but I personally invest in quality and until now , it is a good choice.
I recently purchased a second digital reversing camera (W7PRO) from AUTO VOX having previously had a good experience with another of their products. The W7PRO was chosen due to its digital wireless operating system and its capability to run two cameras. The two cameras will be used on our caravan trailer rig where having both rear view on the caravan and side view from the tow vehicle is very helpful when reversing, especially as I frequently travel on my own with the ‘van. As with the previous AUTO VOX camera the instructions were clear and installation straightforward, certainly less complicated than wired systems I have used in the past.
The viewing menu offers a range of useful options/adjustments including: Brightness & Contrast; 6 Reversing Line Configurations (+ Off) & Image Orientation.
The image is very clear, even in low light and, in fact, compares very favourably with reversing cameras offered by vehicle manufacturers, but a a significantly lower cost.
We also have another AUTO VOX reversing camera mounted on the stern of our outboard cabin cruiser where it is used to monitor the cooling water outlet of the outboard motor and also to look out for approaching boats. With the canopy up on the boat it is impossible to either see the motor or any boats approaching from the rear. Failure of the cooling water is a common hazard with outboard motors and can cause engine damage or total failure. The camera is wired so as to be on any time the engine is running.
All in all we are very pleased with the performance and quality of our AUTO VOX cameras and have no hesitation to to recommend them.
The power unit supplying the camera had a wire come adrift inside so I couldn’t get a signal to the screen. I found this fault on rechecking my wiring.
I contacted Amazon to report the problem and was re-directed to Toshare EU.
The following day I received a message from Vicky from Toshare apologising for the problem and a new power unit with cable was dispatched the same day.
I had the new part within 2 days, which is excellent customer service. Have fitted and everything thing is working fine.
Quality of camera and image on the screen is really excellent and I would highly recommend this product.
I’m going to fit an extra camera to the front of my car, it’s that good a product.

Bit daunting when connecting in to the reverse light. I’m a tradesman but imagine some one not so practical struggling and would need to pay someone to fit it for them. Apart from that I’m more than happy with it. I’d buy it again and would advise others to buy.

The camera is very easy to install, you only need a pair of pliers and a screwdriver. The hardest bit was working out how to get access to the rear of my reversing light cluster. Within an hour everything was done ! They even supply wire connectors and cable ties!The image is clear and makes reversing on to a trailer sooo much easier now, don’t know why I didn’t do this soone
I already did a few mods to my car, and I wanted a rear-view camera to assist me parking and driving.
I chose this camera as not only it provides an excellent image quality, but it is also wireless – simplifying the install and reducing the wire clutter.
I’m very pleased with the camera – and given you can install it yourself, it ends up being very well priced!
At a later stage, I will probably buy an additional camera to also see my baby in the rear seat.
I have a Toyota Japanese home market imported car, the original head unit came with front and rear cameras, however would not get UK radio very well, the replacement unit failed so I installed a UK Toyota sat nav, however it did not have the camera connection. I spoke to some fellow owners and looked at what was on the market, the Auto-vox 2 camera unit was the best choice, even with the fact you have to buy the second camera separately. It is easy to install with even basic skills and works straight out of the box with just the camera to wire up in the tailgate, the quality of the picture is very good and it comes on within milliseconds of putting the car in reverse, in fact its so good I have not even used the menu system to alter anything yet. very happy with the purchase and will fit the front camera which I have bought as soon as the weather permits

The AUTO-VOX W7 Pro is an excellent wireless reversing camera that allows both front and rear cameras to be installed. That said it doesn’t have to be front and rear, you can install them wherever you want and they will feed back into the monitor in the cab.
The setup process is very easy and the monitor displays either camera with the touch of a button. The cameras video quality is excellent, the wireless transmission seems pretty flawless with only a very small delay and it has parking lines to help you when reversing. Great for large vehicles and a fair price too.
Perfect! Bought this camera and monitor to simplify the process of hitching a trailer to my old truck by myself. Installation was made easy by virtue of the wireless connection between camera and monitor, and the kit provides sufficient different mounting and wiring options for powering the monitor to make it suitable for a variety of vehicles.
The included self stick adhesive pads and work very well for monitor and wireless transmitter mounting, although I did add a couple of zip ties to the wireless transmitter mounting, since it is out in the weather, underneath the truck bed. The Intelligent Switch feature of the camera works great for setup, but be careful not to misplace the instructions.
The camera and monitor work great, both day and night, much better, can see the truck’s hitch ball and the trailer hitch as I back the truck into position. I’m very satisfied. This does exactly what I wanted it to do.

The Auto-Vox W7 Pro box includes everything you will need to complete the installation. The quality of the product, packaging and instructions are excellent. The Camera/Transmitter and Video Screen/Receiver work straight out of the box. The wireless link between camera and display greatly simplifies the installation, meaning installation will be within the capability of most diy-ers. Support for the product is exempliary and within hours of registering for my W7 extended guarantee I was contacted by a lady called Vicky in Auto-Vox customer support to make sure I was happy with my purchase and explaining that if I needed any help just to contact her. Wonderful! I have added a few photos to show how the component parts can be attractively installed. This installation is in a 2018 Nissan Micra.
I really like this reversing camera, it is well made and good value for money.
The wireless connection means that you don’t have to spend ages routing cables and removing trim.
The most difficult part was splicing into the lead for the reversing lights. I am no mechanic or auto electrician but managed to do that without too much difficulty.
This would be a really good addition to and vehicle but especially for a panel van or camper van.
The camera has a wide field of view which eliminates blind spots and massively reduces the chances of hitting anything!
I wish that I had bought one ages ago – I would recommend without hesitation.
From ordering to delivery it was just perfect. As for the product, impressed with the physical and image display quality, this product does what it says on the box. I fitted one of these cameras at the rear of my Jeep, one low down on the front, and one is planned for underneath my Jeep for off-roading purposes you understand 🙂
Easy to install if you read the instructions properly, if installing 2 cameras please note that the one that comes with the monitor is camera 1! I bought two cameras connected one to the reversing light and one to a manual switch for another view on my recovery truck. Both work well and the video is very clear. Good value for money when compare with other products in the same price range.

Easily installed in a old Landrover Defender. The camera is mounted on the tow hitch bracket with power taken from the reversing light. The monitor is mounted on the central console (using an old TomTom bracket I had), with power taken from a hidden power socket behind the console. Physical quality of both the camera and monitor is very good. Picture quality is excellent and makes a massive difference when hitching up trailer. I can highly recommend the product.
The fitting of the Auto- Vox W7PRO two camera system into my Land Rover Defender 110 was no real problem. I have two rear camera views, one above the towing hitch and activated by going into reverse and the other above the spare wheel giving a clear view behind the vehicle and activate by ignition-on, this camera improves the limited view offered by the rear view mirror.
After installation, monitor set-up and test the system was working perfectly, good clear picture with no distortion, however, during my first test drive after a short period of working perfectly, the monitor displayed a faulty white noise screen.
On checking out the installation, wiring connections and supplies, I contacted Auto-Vox support via Email.
They led me thro a number of checks to try and identify the problem. In the end they replaced the monitor very quickly and the system is again working perfectly.
My four star rating is only due to the initial monitor failure, Not for the excellent after sales support provided.
The replacement monitor, also failed after a number of weeks of short vehicle trips during lockdown. I believe this may be down to humidity in this time of year.
I wanted this camera for my Motorhome and had tried several others that had constant connectivity issues. This is by far the best and provides a consistently superb picture.
As I have experienced few dash cameras so far, a good friend of mine asked me to find a suitable camera for his van.
I tought this it’s the best option as there’s less wires and the main screen can be possition anywhere.
So far he’s really happy about it – I’ve helped him with the installation which was no effort at all. Good clear image, nice parking assist line, extra usb port on the plug
This it’s a great camera for big trucks, vans, etc, where the back side it’s less visible.
Very useful if you have a cigar plug in your trunk
On back camera set up it has 6 lines visual supporting the manoeuvre, green is safe , yellow hazard , red is quite close. This feature can be switched off or leave it to support.
It can be fit in front and back or just back or just front. Comes with one camera, if needed extra camera need to buy it separately.
Back camera need to connect to reversing light so when car on revering gear it activates the camera.
Camera send colourful image and corks well even on low light. Between back camera and main display is only wifi connection no extra cables needed.
Main screen is 5″ size , gives nice clean colourful image . Angle of the camera easy to adjust, and it’s also waterproof.
Ive been using Auto-Vox cameras for some years now this is my third camera , its been like a journey with the company and the camera development over the years, and i must say this latest camera unit is the best yet by far , ounce you have located your reversing light cable your home and dry , any one with a very basic understanding of DIY will find this a easy but as of always there is great Customer support as always , Vicky was my contact and who sorted out my warranty , made sure everything was as i expected and was there if i had any problems , superb and very reassuring . A Quality camera at a superb price and a fantastic support network what more can you ask for .
So this, allows you to avoid wiring from the camera to the display going through the entire car, but still needs you to attach it to your reversing light. This process depends on your car, on my Focus it was not that easy (some panels to be removed etc) so I had to enlist a friend who does DIY on his car.
After the power is connected, you need nothing else, plug the display in your cigarette lighter, and when you put reverse on it will power up to show the camera. I did not even have to do any pairing or anything further.
The quality is very good, clear image, no problems at night either.
Apart from brightness/contrast you can adjust mirror/upside down so you have installation options and also supports a second camera (I don’t have than, so could not try that).
The only thing missing is adjustment for the parking assist lines. I guess they are not too bad by default, but I’d like to tweak them a bit (currently the option is on/off).
I appreciated that the cigarette-plug gives you a usb out, so you are not wasting it entirely on the display.
You can find cheaper ones, so I am not sure it is the best value – I had a good experience with the previous Auto Vox, so I thought I’d not risk a cheap one.
