Bought first one as was on clearance in b&q have since bought a 2nd from here suspect I’ll add more over the next few weeks.
Picked up the 2.5ghz from my sky router no problem, these can be set on timer, delay or manual currently have one set to timer for my work setup so it’ll be on while I make a cuppa before work and I use the app to manually turn off when finished for the day, hoping in the days of energy costing a small fortune these will help items I used to leave on standby,. App is straight forward to set up and use I’m already trying to work out where else I can use them

Love the ease of use with these products, they are well built and easy to hook up to the wifi. Can control them from you phone app wherever you are. Very handy.

I have 4 of these, they work well. Only problem is when first installing the app indicates newer version of software is available, only problem is the upgrade always fails. They still work perfectly though.

Easy to set up with different functions. Quite a clever piece of kit to be honest as u am able to control timers, on/off functions and random on/off settings away from home

Bought 2 of these a few months ago and they worked brilliantly UNTIL getting the dreaded request to upgrade the App. Since then, I cannot reset the timers because they need re installing and WILL NOT connect to the network. This company needs to get their act together with this problem because I’ve read that other people have had the same issues!
These will now be flung because I do NOT have the patience or ability to faff about re installing them.
Do NOT waste your money buying these: they only function until an App upgrade is requested. I’m furious about wasting my money on these.

The set up instructions could be easier to do but once installed very easy to use

I’d had an eye out for a simple and cheap smart switch that doesn’t need a separate hub, and this appeared.
Installation is straightforward as long as you ensure your phone is on the 2.5GHz version of your network. The app is clear and simple, easy to use and to integrate with Apple Home and Alexa.
Power switching happens with a nice audible click of the relay with a response time that is similar to a Philips Hue rig.
So far the switches have been reliable and stable on the network.
Good for lights, even a heater.

Very reliable so far, easy to set up, quick to connect if powered off.
They power up in the state the program is currently set to and no issues with WiFi connections.
Clear indication when on with a blue LED circle around the ON/OFF button.
They don’t get hot, only slightly warm.
2 way comms means the app display current status.
They feel good quality plastic and good construction.
Note that additional sockets want to connect to a ‘master’ so if the master is disconnected none of the slaves will work. Therefore choose setup of master/slave carefully to suit your use.

This is a socket for switching remotely from anywhere via a smart phone App, and can also be configured for random switching or a repeat schedule. As mentioned in many reviews it works with 2.4G wifi only, and it is configured vi a the App on the smartphone. It’s imperative that the phone is connected to the local 2.4G network, and not the 5G network. Not a problem in my case as my networks are configured for different SSID’s. If you have the same SSID for your 2.4G and 5G networks it’s probably worth temporarily disabling the 5G network in your router settings during configuration.

I have five of these sockets which are connected to three different 2.4G wireless networks. Although on different networks, all devices are visible and controlled from within the App which is great. The three networks are the house wifi, garden wifi, and a portable mifi unit on a 4G phone network. It’s great that units connect directly to the routers without requiring any form of hub as some other systems. All my sockets are configured as ‘masters’ so work independently. It’s possible to have a socket connected via a master which can extend the distance of the slave socket from the wifi router, however I haven’t experimented with this.

I did find that sometimes I connected first time without a problem, but on other times it failed. Although the wifi signals were excellent I did find it better to be near the transmitters during configuration. I also had a situation with one unit where it wouldn’t complete the configuration until I changed the name of the unit. I sometimes found that patience was required, however it’s worth persevering.

Once I’d got this working it performed brilliantly over the Christmas period and switched the Christmas lights on and off as programmed through the App. It also worked well with my Google Nest Hub, I gave the adapter an appropriate name and it responded every time to the voice instructions.

Unfortunately, the initial set up and connecting to wifi was a real problem. I had to go through the rigmarole of switching off the 5GHz band so that it would connect to the 2.4GHz band. Once connected I was able to switch the 5GHz back on. After Christmas I wanted to move the device to another part of the house where it picked the wifi up from the BT Whole Home disc instead of the BT Home Hub. On those discs it’s not possible to switch off the channels so it simply wouldn’t work. The wifi is all the same network so I wasn’t expecting to have to set the device up again when I changed the socket outlet that it was plugged into. I think BG really need to get a grip with this because it’s likely to present a real barrier to adoption for non-technical people.

An excellent piece of kit easy to set up and control with your mobile phone.
I bought two more after having one included with some other items for the Christmas lights outside the house.
I would definitely recommend it to anyone
