Picks up really well. Doesn’t like wet leaves. Overall an excellent tool. My 5 year old grandson loves it and can use it on his own.

Once you get used to changing the blower and sucker pipes you will find this easy to use. When sucking try not to rub the inlet pipe on hard surfaces like flags or concrete because you will wear it away. I fastened a piece of aluminium on the end to solve that.

Blower very effective but vacuum seems a little underpowered but should do most of the jobs required

I like that this picks up everything I need, leaves and petals. It does also pick up sticks and small stones.
It a little awkward to empty the bag as it doesn’t come off of the unit, its hard to tip it upside down as the unit is quiet bulky but I do still think its a good unit.

I was in two minds when I bought this item. I already had a petrol blower/vac but was never that happy with it. I did however have a Black & Decker strimmer and hedge trimmer both on the 36v rechargeable system and I was extremely happy with them both. Fed up with the leaves on my patio from a magnificent Beach hedge I eventually bought this blower/vac. It is amazing! Who needs a blower/vac when leaves are wet anyway, just sweep and shovel them into a compost heap. It is when leaves are dry that they are difficult to pick up especially when there is a breeze! This machine copes admirably with dry leaves, moss ( that Blackbirds chuck off the roof) and general litter, mulching it all up ready for the compost heap. I have also used this to pick leaves up from a loose gravelled area it is amazing, picking up leaves and twigs but leaving the stones. As yet I have only used it on the ECO power level as I have not needed to turn it up to Turbo power. I am so annoyed that I was put off buying this machine by negative comments about it left by idiots. I could have been enjoying the benefits of it much earlier!

Sometimes in life you buy something that really does the job and exceeds all expectations. This is one of those.

Assembly is easy provided one looks at the photos of an assembled one – the collection bag goes on the end that the blower comes off.

On eco the blower is not that strong but as soon as turned up a little there’s plenty of power – same for the suction. Overall a very handy gadget and the 36v battery seems to last well.

Reading other ratings on this cordless garden vacuum I was a bit apprehensive, however I ordered one and I have to say how delighted I am with this great little garden vacuum. It is easy to assemble and being light weight, so easy to use. The running time is more than enough for my needs, given that I do not have a small garden. I haven’t found any down sides and have used it several times.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersI thought long and hard about this Blower/Vacuum as I really wanted to like it. We already have a strimmer using the same battery which is great to use. Our old vacuum/blower was mains driven and heavy and not very effective, but the reviews were very variable about the suction power on this one.

Anyway, I bit the bullet and bought it and have definitely not regretted it. Assembly was straightforward although pushing the tubes together was a bit scary as there is no way of taking the apart once they are joined, so be careful lining up the lugs to the holes.

In action the vacuum is light to use, the battery lats at least 20 minutes. The suction seems to work fine for dry leaves, flower petals and other odds and ends, and I haven’t used full power yet, and unlike the previous blower which blew dust out of the bag back to the ground, this vacuum retains everything, so leaves a much cleaner patio.

It’s early days, but it makes hoovering the patio a pleasure rather than a chore, with no wires to get in the way. its lightness makes it easy to lift onto raised flower bed, and pots as well as tight corners to remove old leaves etc. After three weeks of use I’m very pleased with the purchase.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersFor battery powered the performance is very good. Yes it would struggle with wet leaves, but even a mains powered one struggles with wet leaves (from experience). I like the fact you can adjust the power of the suction/blow with the “TURBO” button……..any item that has a TURBO button would be a key selling point :). I find it well made and sturdy. Instructions for build are a bit confusing, so keep the box until you do as the pictures ont the box helps.

Overall very happy with the product. It does exactly what it is designed to do.

Golden Review Award: 9 From Our UsersAs a woman vacuuming is a fairly familiar household activity for me. Since training a husband and investing in two robot vacuums cleaners my house is now vacuumed on a daily basis. During lockdown, I realised that my vacuuming skills could be transferable and conducive for my driveway so what were the options? I have various B&D battery-powered power tools which I have been happy with. The convenience is that the batteries are interchangeable. The cordless element is also appealing for me. I found it incredibly easy to put together – mine came without an instruction manual as it was through Warehouse. I find it easy to change between vacuum and blower. I merrily vacuum my drive. It gets me out of the house. Works well the leaves and blossom that blow onto my tarmac drive and cobble. Does the job.

Golden Review Award: 7 From Our UsersHaving been impressed with the 36v B&D strimmer we subsequently purchased this blower/vac. These inter-changeable battery tools are primarily for my wife to use as petrol versions are too heavy and cumbersome for her.
I have used many powered garden tools over the years and you do learn to buy tools that suit the job in hand. This blower/vac is used to tidy the lawn of dropped dry leaves in the Summer, they can be ‘herded’ into a pile and picked or sucked up. It is also used on gravel paths and patios to blow off and collect leaves and light hedge clippings.
The assembly was pretty straightforward though you do need a bit of strength to connect the tubing, tip – a bit of saliva helps to lubricate the joints.
The interchange between blower and vac attachments is quick and easy. The battery is quick to charge and lasts a reasonable time. The power is variable and you don’t need much to clear dry leaves. The unit is reasonably light and easy to manoeuvre and quieter and cleaner than petrol units.
I note negative reviews referring to wet leaves and would say that all but the most powerful units would struggle with a wet soggy mass of material! Clear the leaves when they are dry!
Overall very pleased with this product, good value for money, very effective and easy to use.

Have used it for some time now and its still as good as when new.One of the best garden tools i have ever had. In fact I was so please with it that I bought another. Now I have a dedicated blower and dedicate vacuum Perfect.

It is mostly used for sucking up leaves and returning them back to the soil as a mulch. It is nice and lightweight however, it would be better to have more suction power.

Golden Review Award: 6 From Our UsersI know some other reviews say this blower/vacuum is underpowered but I feel for its size the performance is impressive in this respect. One cannot expect an industrial performance from a small domestic product such as this. In other words it is no good putting in a nickel and expecting a dollar song. I have mostly used it in suction mode so far to pick up dry leaves and this it has done well, but at the slightest hint of a blockage performance goes downhill fast. This means to use it to suck up a pile of wet leaves would be asking for trouble and is therefore not recommended. However, it is an eager blower and can round up most of the leaves one would normally come across. Being a small implement the collecting bag is commensurately small and over filling this will also reduce suction somewhat. Battery life is excellent and I usually get fed up well before the battery runs out. Overall I am well pleased with this product, its good design and ease of use and now I know from experience just what its capabilities are it is possible to concentrate on what it can do, not on what it cannot do.

I have used this several times. Works great on dry leaves but haven’t bothered with wet ones. I have no idea what it is like to suck and mulch leaves as I had no intention of using this feature. I have a large garden and I wanted a battery leaf blower to use in conjunction with a rake. I have other tools in the range that use the same batteries. All of which have proved to last quite a while on one charge but at least I have spares when required.

First impressions “It cant possibly be in that little box” . It was but there was a bit of easy assembly to do. In use, it seems OK as long as you are collecting dry leave. Had a couple of jams when using damp leaves but that was easily cleared. Compared to my previous corded unit, it doesn’t have the same suction but it does get the job done much more effectively especially as we have lots of steps. I have mobility issues and can still use this ok with it being lighter than my previous unit. I would recommend.

If the limitations of this blower/vac are understood it is a good tool – hence four stars. I bought it to blow back chippings thrown around by Blackbirds and to vac small dry leaves which some my trees produce all year. The only setting worth having is full turbo, otherwise the blow and suck are weak. It should come with two batteries as a second is essential. It is easy and quick to use and put back which are big pluses. I have a corded and a petrol blower/vac for bigger jobs, especially if leaves are large or wet. Very few people are likely to get away with this tool as their only blower/vac as it is not powerful enough, but if bought for quick access work for dry material it does the job well.

Golden Review Award: 16 From Our UsersHave owned mine for over a year now & it’s fine. Easy to put together – if you can assemble flat pack furniture, you won’t have any issues with this. Runs for about 20 mins on a full charge at max turbo power setting. Only use mine as a vac & yes, it will block if leaves are too wet but so did my previous corded garden vac. I just wait until things dry out a bit more…
For me, this is a perfect compromise between not wanting the hassle of an electric cord and not having a big enough garden to warrant the cost of a petrol driven vac.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersA great addition to the garden machinery! This is one of those items I’ve seen people using and thought ‘I should get one of those!’. Well now I have- and really can’t think why it took me so long! I suppose the main factors were that I wanted a battery operated device rather than one with a cord, and the price. The price was good and the battery life with this model is described as good. No more leaves everywhere! Great!

Golden Review Award: 10 From Our UsersExcellent for smaller dry leaves. Not so good with larger or wet leaves. No real criticism but obviously don’t expect the performance of a more high powered product. For my own part I have a larger garden vacuum but thus product is extremely handy for quick jobs as it is easier to use without a power cable or motor because it is much lighter. If it had more suction power I would have given 5 star rating.

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersWhat a cracking bit of kit, we get lots of leaves from neighbour’s house collecting under our carport and now picking them up is a piece of cake.
It used to be a right drag sweeping them and then trying to pick up using pieces of cardboard.
You can use this vac with one hand it is very light but extremely powerful.
This has been one of my better buys.

Works brilliantly for clearing our (quite big) tarmac drive of leaves and pine needles, runs on full blow for about 20-30 minutes on a battery charge, don’t use the suction feature very much.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersVery good, nice and light so that the wife can use it for 20 mins at a time. I have a second battery so that after a short rest, she can carry on for another 20 mins while I recharge the first battery. I am thinking of buying her the lawnmower for her birthday so that she can cut the lawn while I am recharging her batteries.

Golden Review Award: 13 From Our UsersThis is a good piece of kit, well designed, easy to assemble and use. BUT… it is not for heavy duty work, not for clearing wet leaves off a wet lawn. Think of it as a broom for sweeping light leaves off a patio, blowing them into a corner and vacuuming the up into a relatively small bag. This it does very well indeed.

  36. GordonLogsdon says:

Golden Review Award: 12 From Our UsersVery pleased with this. Its much better not having to have a cable and had enough charge to do my small garden and garage (in 20 minutes) with charge to spare. Easy to swap between blow and suck mode, you just change to nozzles, but have to remember to fit the filter for blow or it wont switch on. Was able to gobble up dry leaves but haven’t tried it with wet ones yet. The bag was able to hold all the tiny pieces and didn’t need constant emptying. Seems fairly robust and the 36v Li-ion battery gives it more charge than some of the cheaper alternatives. Definitely recommend.
