Have had this watch for a good few years now and it has been absolutely brilliant. I have a few watches including a more expensive divers watch, but this is the one I’m most likely to wear for outdoor activities. It’s rugged without being cumbersome, easy to read and is comfortable on the wrist, helped by having the offset crown. Personally I’ve had no issues with the silicon/rubber strap, it’s now quite pliable and has worn well. It’s certainly strong and well built and should work fine over a wetsuit. Although I’ve never used it for diving I have used it for hiking and sailing in all weathers and it has coped without complaint, including a lot of time on my wrist whilst doing big dusty DIY jobs with power tools. The lume is still good at night and it has never stopped even after an extended time in a dark draw for a number of weeks. At the price it is exceptional value as it functions so well as a wear anywhere everyday watch.

Untill I bought ANOTHER ‘divers style watch’ – of another brand, but also from Amazon, this time a Phobos Wave Master ‘300m’ diver, for 257 – I was amazed at how good the LUME is on the Citizen one. The dark blue rubber strap is very comfortable, but has to be worn a little ‘loose’, because my wrist is only just too big for the next hole, on the strap.

The LUME on ‘2nd’ diving watch I bought (from Amazon shopping app – the Phoibos Wave Master with Black rubber strap – too short, not that comfy), is just OMFG! I never though LUME could get that good, & it lasts for ages.

My only niggle with THIS watch, is that the grooves in the strap are difficult to keep clean since the ‘slightly sticky’ feel to the surface of the rubber- which helps it to ‘grip’ my wrist when wearing a little loose – attracts dust far too much, making it look ‘a little grubby’.

Otherwise VERY good value for what it is, if you get it for under 200 which I did.

I have a few Citizen Eco-Drive watches, of which this is one. Never having to replace the battery is a major advantage and reduces the servicing involved in what is an essential piece of diving safety equipment. If your diving computer suddenly stops working, you can still dive using your watch and your diving tables to plan you future dives – so the remaining dives won’t be lost.
This is an excellent divers watch (and looks the part). It’s bigger and thicker than a traditional watch, but that’s because of the functionality of offering a 200 m depth, so ay basic scuba diving is covered. The dial is large enough to be easily seen and the luminosity of the bezel marker, the hands and the hour markers is excellent in darker environments (basically diving in England!) But make sure you keep it charged, which is simply by exposing it to / using it in the light (any light). If it’s stored in a box for long periods between use, you will need to re-charge it in order to use it.
It keeps excellent time and on holidays I never take it off (and it looks the part).
All in all a great watch for the money.

Amazing blue lume, love the watch… Strap is great!!!! It’s not the scuba tank box but still very nervous ce packaging. 6 years warranty! When registered. Time is rock solid. Perfect set and forget grab and go beater Titan. If a Promaster is good enough for the Italian Navy it’s good enough for me… I have other highend watches but this is the only one I would actually go diving with .. I can’t recommend it more. Great price. Great watch.

    PERFECT

This is a a very good watch. Build quality and fit on a71/2 inch wrist is great. Only concern is rubber strap supplied although comfortable does not have the decompression table printed on it as advertised. Not a problem for me as everything appears brand new.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersAlthough it is a diver’s primarily, but with the change of strap to a more comfortable one, you can wear it all day long without worrying about batteries, charging, accuracy of time.

I have used it across Himalayan treks, backpacking international travel and it has stayed true for the last 7 years. One of my last eco-drives I needed to buy.

On the battery running part, Make sure this watch doesn’t sit in dark place like cupboards or boxes. If you are not using it sometimes, keep it out on a desk with ambient light and it will keep recharging. The capacitor of the watch has to be replaced if you really run down the battery to the grave. I found this out on my other Eco-drive watch the hard way.

Overall, go for it without a second thought, whether it is your first watch or a memorable gift for your dear ones.

The barrel to adjust the watch has to be unscrewed a bit before it can be pulled out to make the adjustment. That makes sense in a diving watch, I suppose, but the instructions don’t explain it, and I it was very frustrating until I worked it out for myself. Also have yet to get the date to function properly – it seems to move at midday. Other than that, a nice looking watch that does the job.

The main plus for me was the price as my Seiko kinetic had stopped working and the repair price was more than that of an identical replacement. I don’t dive now due to age and health but the idea of a solar powered rugged watch appealed to me. So far I have not been disappointed.

I did a lot of research on this watch and could find no negative reviews. I have a Citizen Eco Drive Promaster Navihawk that cost over three times the purchase price of the diver’s watch. The diver’s watch has a longer lume that lasts all night and the hands and face are much clearer and easier to read. I have other watches in my modest small collection but the divers is my favorite.

Absolutely fantastic! Have the time in sync with a connected g-shock and it’s lost about 1 second over a 3 month period, so very accurate. Eco-drive solar charging so not having to worry about a battery/automatic movement is brilliant. I’ve had lots of automatic watches and I’m slowly moving back to quartz.

Brilliant colour in blue, looks great. Obviously looks are subjective but it looks like a standard dive watch.

Screw down crown is great for water resistance. I’m a medical profession so I’m having to wash my hands (and sometimes arms) very often and it’s great knowing that water will not be damaging this at all!

Brilliant lume too, although I wish the lume on the bezel was the same colour (it’s more green whereas the rest is blue), although it may serve a purpose when diving.

Would highly recommend, Citizen Eco-Drive is a proven win!

A very well made watch, I totally agree with many of the peer reviews. Superb finish and quality. Super accurate and I even like the strap! Buy one and you won’t regret it. And should I ever decide to take up diving I’m all sorted. The wife questions the need for all men to have a divers watch. I feel like jack Cousteau in the shower.

Soon as I removed from packaging, loved it the minute I saw it, 5 stars from me without hesitation, But big minus for the strap! It’s terrible and will be replaced straight away.
The Lume is brilliant took pics in daylight, got a bargain 147 well worth the money.

5.0 out of 5 stars Absolutely love this watch👌

I own a small collection of watches, from cheaper timex’s to more expensive brands including Seiko. This dive watch is amongst my favourites and regularly gets rotated into use. While it may be smaller than some of my larger field and dive watches, it looks splendid on wrist. The lume is also magnificent, and out performs my Seiko, Orient, and other watches. The only watch i have with better illumination is a tritium watch… The bezel is excellent; strong, easy to use but secure, with zero backplay. Legibility is superb. The strap was good, but i quickly swapped out for a nato, as the watch is a strap monster.

In short, if you’re looking for a gift, this is a good way to go. i bought my brother-in-law the black dial version.

Oh, and the Eco-drive… magnificent. No need to change the batteries, or shake the watch to wake it up like with an auto.

A great watch in all respects, genuine ISO certified diver. Case is a little plain and slab sided compared with equivalent Seikos. Solar powered quartz means the caseback doesn’t need to come off, so you keep the water resistance and don’t need to worry about setting it. Brought this at around 120 which was a great price.

I have several Citizens and this is right up there for quality of finish. Easy to read, red/white minute hand a nice touch. Rubber strap is better than in years gone past, but have removed and put on a Nato, 20mm. Accuracy is +6 sec/month actual tested. Bezel is very nice and 60 click. Second hand hits markers fine.

alls good love it, the date is really small unreadable for me, really good quality, im going to put a nato strap on it as the straps not the best but is still ok, overall a decent buy, lume is the best ive ever had, mine did not come in the divers tank case just a normal citizen box, the strap is also quite comfortable and does not dig in your under wrist, the lume is more of a blue colour than green but i prefer the blue, buy buy buy……

I really like this watch. Every thing is great for the price. The only thing which is annoying is the date window as it’s very deep set which makes the date hard to see. I changed the strap to a bracelet but there is nothing wrong with the PU strap, I just fancied a change.
The watch is very well built, keeps great time, glows in the dark, has a bezel that’s smooth that I use a lot to time my cooking as I prefer cooking to diving 🙂 It runs off light too. So apart from the hard to see date I love this watch and would recommend .

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersCharged it for a couple of days before using. Nice looking the only drawback is the strap which is easily changeable. So far accurate like othe quartz watches I have. The face is clear and readable in the dark. Water resistance not yet test. Only time will tell on reliability , but based on previous citizen watches there should be no problems

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersThe promaster is an amazing watch. I normally prefer automatics but the eco drive is a great movement and super accurate.
This watch wears slightly smaller than the 43mm size would suggest so it’s perfect for almost all wrist sizes. 20mm lugs mean the strap options are unlimited. The stock strap is excellent.
I cannot believe how good this watch looks. The blue is subtle but stands out without be garish. Perfect balance.
Only thing I was advise to anyone is when you first open, leave it outside for a few hours, even if it’s cloudy as that’ll charge it. Outside light is miles better than a torch, or just indoor lights. Mine ticked every 2 seconds stopped after a day, it needs a good charge first!! Other than that, brilliant
    Buy this watch!!

What a watch! Admittedly a bargain at just over 112, would happily have paid much more after seeing the quality of this watch. Having a Seiko samurai, and now this, I’m so pleased with this, for almost two thirds cheaper than the samurai, and being an eco drive, far more accurate. I have a six and half inch wrist, and this sits really well for size, and just enough weight to feel quality, but not too heavy. My intention is to change the strap, but the more I wear it (and soften it up) the more I’m taking to.it, and thinking I might leave it on for longer than planned. These look good on a decent NATO, so maybe that’ll be my next route, but overall, couldn’t be more happy with my purchase.

The watch is really beautiful, even better than in the photos. The markings and hands are easy to see. The lume is bright but does not last for very long. Mine last about 5 hours after a full day in the office under the light, which I think is a bit shorter than average (7 hours), but it is more than enough and I guess we cannot ask for everything.
Accuracy is excellent as it should be as a quartz. After a month, I think it is only off by seconds.
The only drawback is the rubber band which I find to be rather stiff. The watch takes 20mm strap so it is easy to find. I made a paracord strap myself which I think looks great on it (see photo).
If you are in the market for a diving watch, look no further.

5.0 out of 5 stars Beautiful, accurate and easy to read. Let down by the rubber band so a replacement trap is a must!

I own around 20 watches of various types, both mechanical and quartz. I think the Citizen is very under-rated by the watch community. I think it looks good, it is convenient to use as it is accurate (+2 secs/month) it shouldn’t need a service for 10+ years, and as it is an eco drive, I will not need to change the battery. It is ISO 6425 rated, so is robust and properly rated as a diving watch to 200 meters. All in all a superb bit of kit for the money.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersI just want to qualify that this is a great divers watch for a fantastic price. It is well built, it’s sturdy on the wrist, and so far is keeping perfect time. The rotating bezel is easy to turn, and the crown being situated at the 4 o’clock position means that it doesn’t dig in to the back of your hand like some watches can. The screw down crown is easy to operate and has a nice engraving on it. There is a small date window also at the 4 o’clock position which is legible enough. This is an eco drive watch so it will never need a battery change and should have a 6 month power reserve when fully charged. The lume is great and is really bright for a watch of this price. Whilst this fades over time mine was still bright enough to read the time 6 hours after charging the lume before going to bed. The only drawback for me was that I am not a big fan of the strap it came with. To be fair it actually looked better than I thought it would but I’ve replaced mine with a classic nato strap and it looks great. All in all a great buy, so I would definitely recommend this watch if anyone is looking for an inexpensive quality divers watch!

I highly recommend this watch. I have been swimming with it, having showers and also I fell with my motorcycle twice while having it on my hand.

The only downside is that the glass was supposed to be made of crystal so no way to be scratched. After the accident, the glass got some very bad scratches but I managed to remove them with a polish material.

The bezzel is also scratched from the accident, but it is still doing good. Highly recommend this one.

Golden Review Award: 4 From Our UsersI got this watch to replace a previous citizen watch where I had broken the band in a rather bad fall. As it was a Titanium band I decided to invest in a new watch rather than an new VERY expensive band (Watch was great until my clumsiness broke it). I love the new watch. Not too big, easy to read in the dark, watch band very comfortable, and most importantly, if I do need to replace the band it is easy (and not too expensive) to do. Some would say that it is a dated design, but then my kids call me dated. I prefer to think of it as classical and stylish. Based on my short experience. I would buy again (although I would hope not to have to for a number of years.

Golden Review Award: 10 From Our UsersFirst off I love the design and the build quality of this watch. The bezel has a great action and the lume is very bright (the 12 o’clock on the bezel being green and the watch face lume being blue. Looks fantastic.

Only two slight issues I have, the date window is quite small and the date is quite recessed so its not the easiest to see.

Given the size of the watch I would rather have a 22mm lug width. I ditched the strap (which is ok but not great) and replaced it with a Black “Infantry” NATO strap, LOOKS AWSOME!

Brilliant watch, well worth the money

Golden Review Award: 7 From Our UsersGreat watch. It looks great and is very well made. The second hand lines up perfectly with the second markers on the face. Although some reviewers have said that the blue bezel appears more black it is clearly a nice shade of navy blue. The bezel works very well and also lines up perfectly with the second markers on the face. In my opinion its the perfect mix of a stylish watch and a divers watch as some of the other ones it was considering were overly large or overly embellished. I also like the strap as it adds a rugged touch and it is a good fit. The added holes in the strap also allow the skin underneath to breath a bit and prevent too much perspiration. As other reviewers have stated the luminous markers are very effective and probably the brightest of all my watches. I have a good number of watches in my collection and although I’ve paid a lot more for other prestige watches that I like, this watch is a great lower price addition, just as striking and my second Eco Drive watch from citizen.

Golden Review Award: 19 From Our Users**2022 update**. Still an amazing watch in my collection. Still runs like a dream. I will still say the original strap is awful, so buy something else. Incredible watch!

As the title suggest, the strap for the watch isn’t very good but my god is the watch itself great. I was looking for something else to swap out from my SKX007 and came across this.

Everything is easy to read on the face, the lume is the best I’ve ever come across, beating the skx007 in my opinion. The 60 click bezel feels incredibly sturdy and feels nice to move. The hands themselves look great and really stand out, making it easy to read.

On top of all of this it’s an Eco-drive, so it’s environmentally friendly & charges via sunlight with a 6 month reserve. It’s an official watch as I registered the warranty online with the instructions provided, just thought I’d add it that for buyers concerned about it’s legitimacy.

To be honest with you I’m pretty astounded it’s this cheap. With regards to the strap, I personally replaced it with a 20mm NATO and I mean, with that size there’s so many different options on amazon.

Should you pick this up if you’re a watch collector or simply want something long lasting and functioning with out needing battery changes? Yes!

I hope this helps. Happy watch shopping

    Update: *February 2019*

The watch is still incredible. In a month I’ve seen it, in total, – 5 seconds slow over the course of the ENTIRE MONTH. It’s incredible. Still going strong, still brand new. I’ve swapped out the Nato for a Gekota stainless Steel strap and it just looks so good. Honestly, if you want a solar watch, this really is it. I still can’t get over how cheap it still is, considering I got this back in May of 2018.

    Update: *September 2019*

Again, the watch is still in my collection and still only – 5 seconds per month. I’m not sure if I got extremely lucky with mine, but it’s incredible. Still in warranty, still running, still looking beautiful. I see now the price has gone up since I purchased it, and honestly, it’s worth the current price (over 200) I paid 150 for it way back when. It’s an excellent watch. It’s been diving, in the pool, hiking, even to the alpes. Still runs amazing.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersBeautiful looking watch which is really nicely finished; orange finish on minute hand is a nice addition. Excellent build quality and feels very solid made.
My only gripe would be strap wasn’t comfiest but that could just be me; however a quick change to a NATO strap soon sorted this and looks really good on it too; and being a 20mm lug width there is no shortage of bands available to change the look; saw one on a shark mesh band and looked beautiful on that too.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersA good quality and good value eco-drive (solar powered) dive watch. The face is slightly smaller than I expected, as although this is a 42mm case, the bezel is chunky for use while diving so the face is smaller. The rubber strap is good and features a small printed dive time chart, and looks nice with the blue face. One of the best things is that the watch has very effective luminous markings and glows very clearly in blue, completing the blue look. I have never seen a watch with such effective luminous markings – I assume this is to assist when diving. No winding, no batteries of course.

I am a big fan of the Citizen Eco Drive. The old watch I have with this system is still working perfectly after many years, when other, supposedly automatic charge watches have had to have their batteries replaced. Many other systems require motion to keep charged. But the Eco Drive will just sit happily on a window sill for years – staying charged in the daylight and keeping perfect time.
I like the design and look of this watch, and i’m sure it will give me many trouble free years of use. However, I don’t like the strap much, which is why it only rates 4 stars. Firstly it is a fairly short strap and I can’t see it fitting over my wrist with a wet suit on – not a good start for a supposed diver’s watch. The strap does fit my ‘unsuited’ wrist but only with the buckle in an awkward place where it won’t sit flat. I expect I’ll soon cut this strap off and find another, better, one.

I bought this watch from Amazon for 125. That was early Feb 2018, so it’s worth keeping an eye on price fluctuations. (I saw the black version being sold at Heathrow for double that.) Overall, the watch is extremely well built, accurate and the blue is understated. The strap, though, was not at all comfortable so I swapped it out for a reliably comfortable Nato. Overall – at that price and after a tweak – I’m very happy. And having lived with it, I’d probably buy it again for anything between 120 and 150.

  37. CHSJ News says:

I love the size, it wears smaller and more comfortable than SKX divers, while maintaining similar wrist presence. The case and bezel are well designed, and I actually like the 60 clicks more than the usual 120. The dial looks decent – not beautiful, but decent – but I guess the Eco Drive technology limits how well finished dial you can get in this price class.
My only real complaint however, is that I find the the hands cheap-looking compared to my Seiko’s. That doesn’t stop me from wearing this watch on a matching blue NATO strap several days a week – and I like it more and more for each day.

Golden Review Award: 10 From Our UsersI am delighted with this Promaster Divers watch. The build quality is ten out of ten… A tight rotating bezel, totally waterproof, a very nice lightly brushed finish and a very readable face. The time keeping is really spot on, I checked. I especially like the four o’clock crown position, the weight, size and how recessed the face is beneath the glass. The lume is also very cool.
I replaced the stock strap, as I knew I would, with a 20mm (not 18mm) NATO band, which works great.
I have no problem in recommending this watch.

Golden Review Award: 26 From Our UsersWatch is a classic diver style.
With it being an eco-drive (charged by light) there are no batteries to replace.
Being a Citizen it comes with a 5 year warranty which is excellent but you can get an extra year to make it 6 if you register it online.
Nice feel and the lumi on the hands and markers is a very nice blue with the 12 o’clock marker on the bezel is a green dot.
Strap is a bit stiff but I’m sure it will soften up with use.
A bit of a bargain at the 124 I paid for it compared to the 170 upwards on other online UK sites.

Golden Review Award: 24 From Our UsersNow let’s see … quartz accuracy – check. No battery required – check (months of power-reserve). Waterproof – check, to 200m, and being a ‘Divers’, it’s factory-tested in a pressure-tank to 20% above claim. Easy to read – check, especially with minute hand different colour to hour hand. Excellent build quality, comfortable, looks great (each to their own), decent lume (I can read mine after 8 hours total darkness). Strap? – Strong and comfortable but I don’t care – I’ve put a NATO on it, just catering for the unlikely event of one of the spring-bars snapping, and I prefer them anyway. Value for money? 150? Well worth it. This is my fifth Citizen, the others either having been kept or given away, and my automatic Pro-Diver 200m? I’m keeping it – permanently; none (as far as I’m aware) has ever gone defective – ever. If I wanted to hang on to just the one watch, out of my collection of about half a dozen or so (I know I know – boys’ toys) then this would most definitely be the one. Outstanding. PS: Two months in and it’s gained 2.5 seconds, which is just fine by me. PS: 2021 and still going strong, though the price has gone up it’s still good value its class, which is tops. PS: May 2021 and still perfect, though the price has gone up a bit! PS: 2023 and still perfect!

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersThis is a fantastic diver watch for the price. Solid build, clear face, perfect time keeping. I had previously owned the ‘classic’ Seiko SKX007 but personally prefer this model from Citizen.

    Pros:
The colour blue works really well, giving the watch a unique look when compared to a majority of divers (that often opt for a black dial).

Excellent attention to design and detailing – the orange edge on the minute hand, the positioning of both the date and crown at 4 o’clock, the reflective silver that edges the hour markers and hour hand that increases legibility both in and out of the water.

The watch has a nice, solid weight to it without being too heavy on the wrist.

    Cons:
The strap is gimmicky. It features a printed depth guide table that obviously has practical uses but for day-to-day use it looks far better put on a different strap. Crown & Buckle produce a heavy duty NATO strap in blue that matches very nicely.

The case is a little boxy (for my taste, at least). There’s no curvature from the bottom of the case to the sides. It’s just a sheer 45 degree angle. The Seiko SKX007 has a much more organic case shape as do some other Citizens such as the Promaster Tough (also known as the Ray Mears) that seems more fitting for a diver. This isn’t an issue with the watch, just a personal preference.

Overall, this watch deserves serious consideration from anyone looking for an affordable diver as it offers excellent quality for the money and I would have happily paid more for mine.

The watch is gorgeous. I have a small wrist (6.5 inch) and after a few days of using it I don’t find it too big anymore. You can read the time very easily. In the dark the lume lasts a long time and it has a awesome blue color, although it becomes a little weak quickly. I have to deduct one star because the second hand doesn’t align with the minute markers. Overall, I guess you cannot find a better dive watch at this price point.

    Love this watch.
Is well solid, without being too big, and I have been complimented a few times on it.
As with other reviewers, the writing on the strap makes it look slightly cheap, and is a bit unnecessary, but it is starting to wear off, and as someone pointed out, if that is an issue you can always buy a new strap.

No battery is great, and the luminous hands at night are superb.

Haven’t used it for diving, and probably never will, but the bezel has a nice solid feel to it, and shouldn’t move unless you want it to.
I do like this watch a lot. Also, keeps good time in the six moths I’ve had it for at the time of writing, and I have’t’ had to adjust it at all.
    Would recommend this no problem.

Golden Review Award: 10 From Our UsersWhat can I say – every since I saw one of these watched I new I needed to have one. From the blue dial to the chunky face, it looks fantastic. I don’t go diving so will never test it’s diving capabilities but for a general wear watch it’s perfect.

I have changed the strap on it to a blue NATO strap as I wasn’t too keen on the rubber strap, which in my opinion made it feel a bit cheap ( I do understand it is a divers watch).

The watch gets even better when in the dark as it has the best lumi of any watch in my collection, it glows bright blue and lasts for hours.

All in all I definitely recommend buying this watch, and am very happy with my purchase.

*Edit – added a photo of the watch on the NATO strap

This watch represents extremely good value for money. It looks very stylish and appears to be very tough and well constructed. The instructions which come with it are comprehensive and easy to follow and once the watch is set up ( which is easy to perform ) it is simple to maintain the date and any time alterations.
The eco-drive is a big bonus and the watch seems to keep excellent time accuracy. The date window seemed very small at first, but with time my eyes seem to have got accustomed to it and it is no problem. Overall, I am very pleased with this watch and look forward to using it in the years to come.

Golden Review Award: 5 From Our UsersLovely watch which is not too big – about the same as my G-Shock watches. The strap is comfortable and I love the way the second hand strikes exactly on the digits as it is going round. I have another dress watch which I have had for almost 17 years and I hope this one will last for the same amount of time. As an Eco-drive fan from my other watch it seems just as good with me having worn it non-stop since it arrived. I have even sold my Seiko Kinetic Divers watch since I have had this one. Overall a nice watch with accurate time keeping on a nice clear face. The night time lume is brilliant with me taking it off after dinner. I checked the time last night at about 0320 – woke up for some reason – reached for the watch and there it was….Shining bright in the night. It’s also a very nice on the eye Blue colour, so you have no issues seeing the time. Overall….Excellent all round and a worthy competitor.

Golden Review Award: 52 From Our UsersVery happy with this watch, the detail on the face is quite stunning I like the raised lumed markers they give a 3D effect.
The hour & minute hands have a very unique shape that I find very pleasing. An added bonus is that the minute hand has an orange decal which is standard on a lot of Citizen divers but it is a look I find very attractive.
With the crown at the 4 position makes it more comfortable to wear, when a crown is at the 3 position it can dig into the back of your hand.
The date window is also at the 4 position which I also think is a nice feature.
However the date window is very small and I do have some difficulty viewing the date, having said that any bigger and it would spoil the look of the face. A cyclops for an enlarged date image would also look out of place, not really a minus point for me though as I would have purchased this watch without a date window. I just thought for balance it’s worth mentioning as it might be an important feature for some.
The crown screws down and the action is very smooth, the bezel is also worth mentioning as the action is also very smooth with crisp click.
It does take a conscious effort to move the bezel, but this is a plus point for a divers watch because if it is used for diving you would not want to move it by accident.
The most important thing for me in a watch is its accuracy and as I have come to expect from Citizen it is outstanding. I purchased this watch a little over a week ago, I set it to my atomic Skyhawk and it is still bang on to the second. This did not come as a surprise though as this watch is part of a rotation of 7 Eco-Drives and all are extremely accurate.
The only downside for me though was the silicone band that it came on in my opinion it looks cheap and tacky. It does not even have any form of Citizen branding on it either which is unusual. The ND chart printed on the band I thought was uncalled for and ugly.
I am wearing this watch on a custom made black canvas and leather strap with a pre-v buckle and dual keepers. But that’s just me I am a watch geek and this strap more than satisfies the geek in me.

In conclusion an excellent divers watch for the money, it will not disappoint.

    Thanks for reading.

Good divers watch for the price point.
