Excellent baselayer that got me through the Winter working outdoors. I recommend the leggings and the top: both are very comfy and as advertised.

Got these for my dad and he loves this set of layering wear to help cut the cold of the northern winter. (DANISH ENDURANCE Merino Wool Base Layer Set for Men, Premium Thermal Underwear, Long Johns & Shirt) It’s great for a super cold winter climate. The merino wool is the best – it’s soft enough to rest against your skin but also absorbs sweat. Wool is the only material that can still keep you warm when it’s wet – you know that old motto that “cotton kills”. This is a great-looking set as well. It’s thin enough that it can be easily layered and isn’t bulky. Recommended!

Thank you Danish Endurance! The top is nice and long in the body and fit is close, but not tight (perfect for a base layer).
I am 6’2 tall with a long body, chest 43inch with build of a rugby flanker, and size Large is perfect.

I’ve worked outside most of my life and have owned so many base layers but Danish Endurance merino wool stands above in quality and warmth as well as comfort. Accurately sized.

I’ve tried a lot of thermal base layers in my time, from primark to sports direct and let me tell you these ones are worth EVERY penny. They fit beautifully with plenty of space around the neck so you don’t feel like you are being strangled and the bottoms rise high and snuggly so they don’t slip down during activities leaving you with a saggy bottom. The colour of the blue ones is excellent too, a far deeper and richer blue cour than is seen in the Amazon pictures. 100% would recommend.

    Worth every penny.

I’m 6ft, 70kg Medium is a good fit. This is a lightweight base layer – feels effective.

They’re great, super warm when you’re moving, and they weigh almost nothing. For around $100CAD, I’m beyond happy with the performance.

I ordered large, and they fit, but the crotch always dips away from my body. This makes my upper thighs chafe, and over long trips it can get pretty irritating. I’ve started wearing underwear under them and it’s definitely an improvement (not “supposed to,” but it doesn’t impact performance) . To be fair, it’s a common problem for me, I have tree trunk legs and really hot blood.

Losing one star because the seam in the crotch had a small hole when I received it, and it’s getting bigger. I thought it might have just been part of the design (maybe the legs crossing “pumps” air into a, ahem, warm area), but now I’m pretty sure it’s a defect.

My husband is 6’2 and 83 kilo. Waist 34 inches loose fit. These fit like a glove and sit very well under his jeans. Soft and warm we will purchase them again.

This product is by far the best product at a reasonable price. The 80% wool is fantastic to have at their price point. I’m 6’2″ 190 lbs athletic build, and the US Medium sizes are just right for a base layer. Not too snug, but snug enough to feel great. I have larger athletic legs so they are a tough tight for the calves, but the light material has enough give to still not feel restricting (which would slow blood flow and make you colder). I think they hit the nail on the head with these. They feel like something I want to get multiple pairs of and wear them all the time through the cold winters.

My ONLY minor gripe is that they do not have a fly, which might not be an issue for those who don’t care. But in winter with 4, 5, or even six layers of clothing to get through when it’s -40C in the North, having to pull your pants down just to take a leak when it freezing cold outside lets in the cold and makes me feel like a child in elementary school dropping his pants to his ankles just to take a leak at the urinal. Minor annoyance though, and sometimes it’s nice to get a bit of a breather when working outdoors too I guess.

This base layer fits nice and tight but that is a good thing as they are going to be nice and warm on those cold days.
I like the length of the shirt also as it will keep the back of the shirt from riding up.
    Great set.

DANISH ENDURANCE Merino Wool Base Layer Set for Men is a bit pricy but this is Merino wool, so you know…

The material is indeed very soft and warm while being extremely light weighted. It is breathable and moisture wicking. It’s great base layer if you do winter outdoor sports.

I saw a some loose ends but overall, the set is pretty nice.

I found the size chart in the listing to be fairly accurate, my suggestion would be to size down if you are looking for more of a form-fitting fit to wear under clothing.
This is the first time wearing merino wool, it was more lightweight than expected but keeps me very warm.
Unlike the old polyester kind, these breathe and are super comfortable to wear all day long.
Would certainly recommend for our Canadian winters 🙂

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersBase layers are a must for me in the winter and especially when spending any significant amount of time outside. The problem is balancing staying warm when you’re not moving and not being soaked in sweat when you’re active (e.g., shoveling snow, skiing, snowshoeing, etc.) I have tried various types of materials for thermal underwear/base layers and find that wool is the best for insulating but also wicking sweat away from your skin if you do end up getting overheated and sweaty under all your layers. There’s nothing worse than cooling off and shivering with clammy sweat-damp long johns and undershirt clinging to your rapidly cooling skin.

The other benefit to wool base layers is that it won’t end up reeking of body odor after one wear and it’s resistant to odor-causing bacteria, unlike synthetic fabrics like polyester which are pretty notorious for clinging to bad odors, even after going through the wash!

This set of merino wool thermal underwear is made of 80% merino wool and 20% polyamide. It is lightweight and thin fabric so it acts as a good base layer that doesn’t cause bulk under your regular clothes. It helps to keep my feeling warm and if I do end up a bit sweaty, it quickly wicks and evaporates. The merino wool is finely woven, not coarse or itchy against my skin. I have tried other base layers made of wool by Canadian companies and unfortunately the fabric ended up too itchy to put up with for any length of time. Long johns have a comfortable elastic waistband and a tag which may end up having to be cut off. There’s no front fly opening for convenient bathroom breaks.

    – This is the first underlayer that I’ve ever worn that’s made of merino wool. I have to say it’s very comfortable on the skin. It’s warm too and is perfect for the winter weather. I’ve worn from affordable cotton to the branded stuff that’s double the price of these and this merino wool sat amongst the top in terms of material.

    – Overall, a very nice pair of underlayer wears at a fair price (at the time of review is CAD105). The only thing remaining to be seen is how long can this fabric/ sewn quality last. I will update if any changes to quality within 3 months’ time.

This base layer set is very comfortable to wear. It fits as expected, and I found it very comfortable to wear all day. While it is not super cold here yet, this is exactly what I will need when working outside during a cold day. The price for the set is pretty good, however these aren’t completely perfect. There were a few loose threads on the various stitches that I had to clip.

Vraiment chaud, trs belle qualit. Ultra moche mais a c’est accessoire.

En tout cas mon mari adhre.

Wore this under snow pants and a light jacket for a winter hike up north, it helped me keep warm without overheating. The material is soft and feels great to wear. I would recommend sizing down if you want a snug fit, for these type of base layers, I prefer a tighter fit.

When skii season starts, this will be my go to!

First time trying merino wool fabric, and it will definitely not be my last. Super comfy, fits under my jeans without adding any tightness. It definitely helps wearing these during the winter months. Regulates my body heat without becoming overly hot and sweaty. The fabric is very soft and dries off fairly fast.

I am very impressed with the quality of this merino wool base layer set. As a woman who is nearly 6ft tall, I sometimes have better luck shopping the men’s department for this kind of clothing. The top and bottom fit true to size for me. The top fit very long, well past my hips.

The material is a very breathable fine knit. It feels warm but not stifling or sweaty. The price is on the higher end, at just over $100 for the set at the time of the review, but it washes well, is very thin and warm without being sweaty and seems like it will last for years. If you spend any kind of time outdoors in winter, it feels like it will be a worthwhile investment.

Overall, I would recommend this set if your budget allows it. It feels very high quality and is a true base layer, unlike others I’ve seen or tried on Amazon.

I got this is size Medium. I’m about 6 feet tall, pretty average to slim build, and it fits pretty well though as a base layer I’d have liked it a bit more fitted but I think getting anything smaller might not be long enough. Overall I’m happy enough with the fit of the Medium.

This is made in Bangladesh. For a two piece long Merino set, the price is very fair. Merino is hands down the best base layer material, it keeps you from feeling sweaty, resists getting stinky like synthetics and my experience with another brands Merino undergarments has been that it lasts and lasts. Construction is fine, but a bit sloppy (loose threads not trimmed here and there, a rather big weave for merino), for underwear it’s acceptable but if it were something visible to others I wouldn’t really be happy with the finishing. I like that the shirt is flat tagged at the neckline. I find this comfy to wear and I quickly forgot I had it on at all after a while.
