Very nice machine, switch is in an awkward place but there is very little dripping into the bottom of the machine. The tea setting is a bit redundant as the capsules are not on the high street. Good results with all pods.

A neat, sturdy machine. Quieter that a Citiz. Uses Amazon pods. Takes about 30 seconds to heat up. Water gets hot – so makes hot espresso and lungo. Hot water option for tea.
I am happy with this machine

Golden Review Award: 6 From Our UsersReally nice machine. Quieter than my Krups Pixie. Would have given 5 stars, but I cannot get a 140ml or large cup of coffee. Have to double click the Lungo and wait for it to finish and then double click again. So the Lungo only dispenses 70ml after each double click. Tried double click and holding in for five seconds on the second click and double click and holding in for five seconds after the double click and each time I get 70ml maximum. Anyone any ideas.

This is a long term product review on the Dualit coffee machine, after having them for over 3 months now. Normally I would do a review on a product after using it for one or two weeks, but since the coffee machine is something people would use on a daily basis, the long term usability is very important.

I consider myself a frequent coffee drinker, I normally drink 2-3 cups per day. Prior to the Covid situation, I normally consume my coffee at work, just because we have a Sage coffee machine and Nespresso machine in office.

Since we all start working from home, I have tried a few mid-range priced ground / beam coffee machines between 60 – 120, none of them makes the machine I liked. The extraction process does not seem to get the flavour out from the coffee beans or powder.

So I have decided to purchase a Nespresso coffee machine. Nespresso does offer a range of coffee machines to choose from, but the compact coffee machine is Nespresso does feel a little bit “cheaply” built. The capsule coffee machine from Dualit is very well built, with strong plastic and metal, you can trust Dualit for their build quality when it comes to appliance. The Dualit machine allows you use capsules from both Nespresso and Dualit, so there are more quality coffee capsules to choose from.

Overall, it is a great coffee machine.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersWould have been helpful if the instructions warned me how stuff they drip test assembly is.
Nice to use. I like the large capacity water tank. I was already converted to dualit compostable capsules
Could you source a plastic or wooden tray large enough to sit this on to protect my oak kitchen surfaces?

This is a great little machine, slimline and although it is a little loud it’s really not as bad as some people have suggested. It takes the nesspresso style pods which means you can get really good brands and it’s exactly like a barista style. Tip is to run it through with no pod first to warm it up.

Golden Review Award: 4 From Our UsersSturdy little machine. Easy to use. Lots of pod options out there and I am totally awash with caffeine from trying so many in a few days.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersThis review concerns the Dualit Caf Plus Coffee Capsule Machine – Nespresso Compatible Capsule Machine – Espresso and Lungo Functions – Tea Maker & Espresso Machine – 40 Second Start up time, price at review 99.99.

A surprisingly compact coffee machine that also offers a dedicated setting for tea. In addition to utilising Dualit branded capsules it also accommodates Nespresso compatible capsules including Amazon’s own brand.
Early use and testing for a coffee machine ‘virgin’, without altering the recommended doses produced a delightfully pleasing mid-morning drink.

Nice stylish looking coffee maker with tons of available and compatible coffee and tea capsules on Amazon and in all Supermarkets.

It’s very fast to get up to temperature and much quieter than other coffee machines I have had. It has a 19 bar pump which is ideal and the tank holds 800ml.

Its simple to use. You would need a sperate milk frother to make any milky coffees but for express and black coffees its ideal. There’s also a lot of Tea capsules available so can easily be used as Tea maker to save wasting water boiling kettles.

I really like this machine, it looks really nice on our kitchen top.

I hope you found this helpful.

Dualit Cafe Plus Capsule Machine: A very compact and user friendly design, the build quality is good and the unit is solid, meaning that it doesn’t slide anywhere when being used. One system for coffee from capsules (takes nespresso capsules) and another system for hot water. Hot water is at or very near boiling temperature, so be careful. Button can be pressed multiple times to fill a mug and make full use of one capsule, some other machines auto eject half used capsules. Compact design means there are limits to the sizes of cups/mugs that will sit on the platform, choose your drinking vessel wisely. IMPORTANT NOTICE: when new, both the coffee and hot water systems need flushing through several times to remove plastic taste. This is mentioned in the instructions, but do make sure you do it or your first cups will taste horrendous. Only criticism is that even when you double press for a mug of coffee the amount is still quite small and even a moderate mug takes two or three portions.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersThis is a very slim machine and doesn’t take up too much room on your worktop. Would be ideal for a small kitchen or even a camper van. Has espresso, lungo & tea options. In the video we used the espresso option. The espresso option dispenses 35ml, Lungo option dispenses 70ml and the tea option dispenses 180ml.
You can press a combination of buttons to give you your desired amount of water, lots of options in the instruction manual.
I found the lever where you put the pods in quite difficult to lift but it may loosen up after a few uses. It has a good sized drip try and capsule basket. The water hopper isn’t very big but that isn’t an issue as you just refill after you’ve made a few cups. The capsules are available in all varieties of tea and coffee strengths. I would suggest having a shop around and buy a variety pack to start you off so you can decide your preferences.
I would recommend if you like a quick and easy coffee/tea option and not having to stand around waiting for a large kettle to boil

This dualit coffee machine is a classy slim line design. It looks great in the black colour way and reminds me of the proper coffee machines in coffee shops. It is compatible with both dualit and nespresso capsules which is excellent as you can have the pick of both. You can use this machine to make tea as well as coffee and there is a tea button that boosts the temperature if you like your tea extra hot. There is also a function that you can programme how full you like your cup.
Overall it is a really nice machine. For some reason I just get on with the dolce gusto ones better and I prefer the capsules that come with those machines. I do however prefer the look of this.

The cup stand/drip tray vibrates with each use and if you’re not careful the cup can tip and fall off and spill coffee, happened twice before I realised I need to watch it extract.
Take care as it can be frustrating and it seems as though everything is aligned correctly so it may just be my cup?
