    A brightly coloured dance mat

A variety of different games can be played and it’s quick and easy to set up and start playing

Grandchildren had loads of fun playing with this dance mat my only gripe is when the game tells them they’ve “failed” – not a great phrase for little kids but I think it bothers me more than it bothers them

Lots of laughter and fun and doesn’t take up much room when folded away

It tells her if/when she failed
    You FAILED
Instead of saying well done please try whatever level again.

My grandchildren love playing with this play mat.

Needs 3 x AA batteries to work.

The back is anti slip so doesn’t move when on it.

    Different modes and levels.

    Great fun.

This playmat is composed of exciting games which are a good way to keep the kids busy, get them moving and be active.

The touch sensitive dance playmat has five game modes. The mode 1 to 3 is challenge mode including three levels, mode 4 is music performance mode, while mode 5 is piano keyboard mode. It can also be set to near silent or party-level loud. The surface of the dance pad is made of soft non-woven fabric, while the bottom is designed with non-slip stripes. It is packaged in a gift box, which can be folded and carried in one pack. The dance mat requires three AA batteries and are not included in the package.

I would say that this became a meaningful gift I had given to my niece. She was elated at how fun and exciting it is to play with. As for my comment about this product, I would say that the materials used are quite of a good quality and well-designed. The different level of game mode adds up on the fun while playing the games as it becomes more exciting. My niece’s favourite mode so far is the performance mode, as she dances to the music and when made mistakes the music stops which makes her feel challenged.

With all that said, I must say that this is a very fantastic gift idea for kids. It is very fun, exciting and teaches the kids to be inclined with music.

The Dance mat requires 3 x AA batteries, which aren’t supplied; these fit into a battery box in the controller, (a small Phillips-head screwdriver is needed to open the door). Operation is fairly intuitive and there are some suitably funky tunes to dance to. We tried it out on our grandchildren, who range from three to six years old, and it was a lot of fun although there was one recurring problem in that the “start” button is incorporated into the mat and it was far too easy for them to inadvertently step on it and start the game again. There are different games incorporated into the mat, modes 1 to 3 are one minute dancing challenges, mode 4 is music performance, the pads on the mat have numbers and there are three songs stored in the mat and a song sheet is supplied listing the number pads to press, and mode 5 is piano keyboard mode with each number corresponding to a musical note. The mat is pink with colourful pictures, the construction of the mat is very good, able to stand up to repeated use, and it folds up back into the box after use. Overall it was fun but the start button was a problem.

Fun but having the start button on the mat was a problem

This is rather more robust than some dance mats we’ve seen, and the children are able to unfold it for themselves. They’re enjoying exploring what happens as you jump on each area.

Easy to use. Easy to store away. Fun. Dancing. Different modes to play. Perfect for any little girl. Good size. Would make a lovely gift or Christmas present. Doesn’t need to connect to TV. Happy with product.

This dance mat is good for 3-7 year olds. It can go on a hard floor (but no sharp edges, of course) or carpet. It is easy to put in the three 1.5 volt AA batteries that are needed, these are not included. There are instructions. To start a game, press the word ‘start’ on the mat. For different modes, keep pressing the start area on mat. The dance challenge, a light appears on the little yellow control box and the challenge is to step on the matching, larger, picture on the mat. If this is done accurately and quickly, you get a score. If you make a mistake or take too long, it counts as an error. Each game lasts one minute. The score is shown at the end and if you have 5 errors or more you are a loser, the control box will not automatically start the next, harder, mode. There are three levels/modes Jin this challenge.
I would prefer it If it just showed a score rather than saying ‘fail’. The noise level is adjustable from the mat itself, using the plus and minus symbols on the mat, which is so useful.
There is also a music performance setting where you dance to the music, making mistakes means the music stops. In addition, you can use the mat in a piano keyboard mode, there arecnumbers on each picture on the playmat, these numbers are quite hard to see in bright sunlight, outlining the numbers in black would be a great help, especially for younger children only just becoming accustomed to numbers. You can make up your own music using these numbers as each corresponds to a specific musical note.
The fabric of the mat feels quite sturdy, the game is a useful rainy-day indoor activity as well as for many other occasions.

Easy to set up and use.

Our girls were excited for this as soon as they heard it turn on. It’s a fun reaction game for all ages. Jump on the lights in order for as long as you can. It has various modes testing both memory and speed. Mode 5 turns the mat into a keyboard and it comes with a sheet of songs to try playing which is good fun too! Our girls had so much playing on it either solo or together. Thankfully for us it has volume control and doesn’t have to be too loud as the songs get very repetitive. It takes 3 AAA batteries and can fold up quite small making it great portable entertainment. It can be used anywhere there is space to lay it out. The mat itself is really responsive to touch and works great. I can see the whole family having a lot of fun with this for a long time to come.

This is a good way to keep the kids busy and get them moving and being active. It’s a really cute design my daughters really love it. When I took ot out the box and set it up they played in their room. It’s cute because it plays music and it lights up so it definitely keeps them entertained. Mat seems to be made of good material and the quality of the music was good wasn’t funny sounding. My kids were pretty hooked on this for an hour, taking turns dancing etc.good way to keep them off the electronics since it seems that’s what most kids are hooked o

This is so easy for younger children to use. Turn on then you use the mat to control things. Press the start until you find the level you want, several times go through each getting harder. The volume can be turned up or down using the mat. The display lights up which part to step on to keep in time with the music. So much fun and exercise at the same time

    Fun way to encourage moveme

Bought for 6 year old granddaughter, with 2 year old sibling. Both can play with it. Can take when travelling as it goes back into its box and no bits to leave behind.
