This is because It is very sensitive and can pick up echo in particular places. but other than that, I recommend it, especially for gaming and streaming
Great quality mic looks really good too! If you don’t like the red it’s easily hidden with a pop filter. One of the best USB mics I’ve used. I wouldn’t overlook it.

Audio quality is crisp and clear, despite me not having a holder for it and it’s only sat next to me, it’s still far better then most headset microphones, my friend had no issues hearing my voice with me just talking like if i had a headset with a mic on.
Item was purchased in April for my son’s birthday in may. It worked lovely until today (July) when the charger port stopped working. (It’s not the lead)

It provides excellent sound quality for viewers and is great value for money as it is very simple to get using but beware you’ll have to tweak slot of settings for it to sound good without picking up background noise
I have a usb audio interface so was tempted to just go with what I know and plug a studio mic into that but while browsing I saw the HyperX mic and the colours caught my eye!
I’m not a massive RGB lover but this combined with the tap to mute on the top, where the light will go out when muted, that alone is a nice feature.
It also has 4 polar patterns, not what I need for its main purpose but hey its nice addition and gives the mic some real flexibility for different applications.
The headphone out features a customizable (via software) mic monitor and the headphone output is actually better quality than I expected!
There’s also a nice sensitivity dial at the bottom, and a usb-C connection unlike the archaic mini-usb on the older model.
Overall the sound quality is completely fine, exceeds my needs for mainly being used just for gaming. You could easily use this for streaming or YouTube etc.
The features make it a no brainer for me over using more expensive studio mics.

The Quadcast S is the one where you can download an app on your pc and change the colours this one just has red when its on.
I also got a psa1 arm with mine and that was just as easy to piece together with the mic!

This microphone doesn’t make me sound like an 8-year old on the mic screaming like I have a 1 headphones and microphone from Poundland so that’s 4 this product is better than Rancho Cucamonga.
There is alot of alternatives but if it was cheaper like some similar to this quad cast then it would be amazing if it was 70 it would be good bc they is no multi colour rgb for an 115 mic
I’ve had 3 Yeti’s now, all of them breaking, sounding like a piece of garbage, and more. Once I got this microphone, I’ve never wanted to go back. It’s easy to set up, easy to use, and the wiring is a lot better, with the wire not bending like the Yeti. I have mine on a Rode PSA1 stand, and it works amazingly. I didn’t need to buy any extra equipment to set it up, and it sounds and looks great.
I definitely think this is one of the best mics I’ve used sound quality is clear and perfect for gaming or just calling in general, price is definitely worth it and not to mention it really does look nice with the setup I have no complaints from me would recommend :))
I’m running windows so a little bit of tweaking of settings (not the devices issue) and did take a little bit of playing with settings in discord. But the device itself feels heavy and robust, very quick to set up. Nice long and durable beaded cable with good connections. The touch sensitive button is very responsive making it very quick to mute/unmute, and the red glow is great as a reminder that the mic is either on or off. As for the sound quality it is excellent for gaming and streaming, is sensitive but without picking up background noise and produces a nice warm output. Very satisfied with it.
While perhaps not looking as premium as similarly priced mics and being a bit gamer-ish for my liking, the HyperX QuadCast has served me excellently for the few months that I’ve had it.
Sound quality is unparalleled when compared to similarly priced competitors and definitely approaching that of a professional XLR mic. My friends all say that over Discord, it’s indistinguishable from me being in the room with them, and it’s been great for recording voiceovers.
For those looking for a premium sound without the hassle and added cost of a full XLR setup, this is the best USB mic you’ll find.

Great mic, but would be better if omi directional received a wider angle. If I’m not talking directly at the centre of the mic then it cuts the vocals

Just plug and play, no need to mess with any software to get clear voice that isn’t compressed or too tinny.
Sensitivity on max level can pick up almost every sound in its range, I mostly use it on the lowest sensitivity.
This microphone is amazing. I originally used to use my headset microphone and the comparison when recording is day and night, the microphone built in features really help capturing my voice making sure there is not too much background noise. Overall it’s quite a good product, but I keep having small issues with it, like it occasionally picking up too much sound, background noise or buzzing, having crackling (might just be a wire) and I expected to have more control over the microphone settings.
This was the first time I’ve purchased a microphone over 50, and I’m not disappointed. The purchase was between this one and the blue yeti. After a lot of YouTube videos, I finally decided to buy this one. I’m super impressed with the value for money. The internal pop filter helps. And the red light shows if the mic is on mute or not. Great when I’m making a live stream or discord call and want to mute without efforts

Being a long time hyperx fan, this purchase did not disappoit! very well made, feels sturdy and has amazing sound. Was choosing between blue yeti and quadcast, this sounds the same if not better, and its design is at least ten times better! Decent for asmr too!
My son bought this for use with Fortnite and gaming generally. He says it works well and seems well made and has experienced no problems with it so far, having used it every day for a few weeks now.
This microphone is A wonderful start a microphone. Especially for streaming.
The attractiveness up of the honeycomb design around the microphone is an eyecatcher for any set up. The materials used on the microphone could be better. However it has great audio control and an easy accessible mute button on top.
The product comes with a microphone desk holder just in case you don’t want to put it on a boom arm. Personally this is a great microphone but I intend to get an XLR later down the line to have better audio quality.
I’ve bought some cheaper mics that are just pure rubbish. I got fed up of trying mic after mic and having poor communication with other gamers who couldn’t hear me. After a few recommendations and watching some video’s online of its performance it hasn’t left me disappointed at. It was expensive and more than I wanted to pay but then how much more was I going to spend before I could of just bought this one and saved myself money.
Sound quality is fantastic and the ability to set the field of what it picks up as well as the added volume control and the ability to touch the top to mute the mic is an added bonus, however I would of liked the ability to dim the internal light.

Worked plug and play with my Mac on Big Sur, recognised by my programs (MS Teams being the main one.)
Looks and feels very solid and professional and I like the red glow when it’s not muted which is a great visual reminder.
I also like that you just tap the top to mute / unmute (this mutes the microphone, it doesn’t toggle mute in the software but it’s the same difference.)
A bit pricey but you get what you pay for and I don’t anticipate having to replace this.
I loved this microphone, I used it a couple of time for recording and discord and I never had a microphone before so I didn’t know what type to buy and after some research I bought this one and I highly recommended it, it works with everything and has many different settings.
I’ve spent a few days with this mic now, so thought I’d review it…. It’s a great all-round mic which I’ve been using for gaming and recording. The sound quality is excellent, but obviously not comparable to an XLR mic. The built in pop filter is good at softening plosives, and the gain control is easy to dial in. I love the built in light which makes it easy to tell if the mic is on or off.

Bought for my 15 year old son at Christmas to use with his gaming pc. He had done his research and knew exactly what he wanted. He seems very pleased with it!
Son really pleased with this mic. Excellent sound and easy to use. Switching it on with just a tap makes it glow red and looks smart. Comes with its own desk top stand, but we easily fitted it to his old blue yeti mic stand. Both ways of using it you can see in the pics I’ve added. At first we were really hesitant in getting him another microphone. But glad we did, as he has stopped moaning about the quality issues of his last one. This one is also a neater design and much easier to run the duster over quickly lol
Great microphone for streaming I have changed from some other much cheaper mic and it was a great purchase My problem was that Im talking sometimes little bit quiet than mostly and this mic has no problem to pick that and that people can hear and the bass is very good either The button on the top if you just touch little bit it’s turning off the mic and gain slider on the bottom where u can make it louder or quieter are very helpfull while streaming so I dont bave to click all the time in OBS to mute or change the volume of the mic.
If you looking for mic for streaming just don’t waste your money for cheaper mics like 40 as i have one and it didn’t sound as i was expecting, better save little bit more and get something what sounds feally good
The gain control and directional input toggle allows me to continue to type on my mechanical keyboards without disturbing colleagues/peers during work or gaming.
Perhaps it would be beneficial to get the RGB version if you’re bothered about the constant red glow that this produces as that can be off putting, depending on your lighting and monitor reflection (if any)
The touch mute function is very useful and well positioned.
Seems to be mountable to both of my generic mic booms. (standard fitment).
Cabling is sturdy and long enough.

OMG…. this thing is great, the ideal all-inclusive standalone microphone for the aspiring streamer or podcaster, a mic with quality sound. It has 4 polar patterns so its a mic with many uses. I especially liked the zero latency monitoring…. didn’t know what I was missing till I got this… five stars all the way 🙂
First of all, it’s a brilliant design. I can both use it on its stand and also quite easy to mount on the microphone arm. The sound quality is great. But it’s very sensitive, so it needs fine tuning on record. The “tapping to mute” is a great feature. The light is very useful as a visual signal but sometimes it turns on for no reason in the middle of night.
To say the least, UNBELIEVABLE. I got a deal with Amazon prime where it was 102 pounds. I thought I might as well try it as it goes with my red setup and the reviews are good. It came in yesterday. I was streaming and my friend went your mic sounds amazing. This is honestly just amazing if your a streamer or a content creator. If you are looking for a 100-120 pound usb mic I REALLY recommend this mic it is amazing!

I have a plethora of studio mics and my earlier efforts to produce a decent vocal sound resulted in miles of cables and some pretty expensive sound equipment before I saw sense and disentangled my laptop from the chaos. This problem was solved when I purchased the Hyper X.
The mic (USB) has everything on-board regarding functionality. A very responsive gain control is added to a 4-function mode switch giving you a mic for any occasion all connected to one USB plug. My laptop breathed an audible sigh of relief.
My favourite function is the red glow the mic produces when it is live. No more accidental open mics!
Very nice, premium device. Everything about it spells premium, the design is simple and intuitive. The shock mount included is also very good. The tap to mute feature is a really intuitive and easy mechanism to prevent disturbances from other things, and I found that when paired with a boom arm, no or very little background noise is present. This microphone was purchased because i recently wanted to transform my setup, so over December and November I will be doing this, and i am glad i decided to purchase this microphone!

Great looking mic that was plug and play with my laptop with good quality for discord and online classes. Came with a desktop mount and an adapter to attach it to a boom arm. I like the touch to mute and the gain dial at the bottom which are very convenient features.
An excellent upgrade to what my setup was, build quality and performance is ideal including commentary saying that my voice was “crisp” which has to be worth something. Ideal addition to improve production value.
This mic was way more sensitive than the one I was replacing so immediately I noticed more background noise creeped into my audio. But that was fine. It was small enough to be filtered out in post -plus it was no fault of the microphone but the fault of my noisy environment. Plus it obliterates my old mic’s sound quality by a country mile because there was absolutely 0 static compared to the very noticable static on my old mic. If you’re looking for a microphone and have 100 to drop on one. Buy this right now. I promise you won’t regret it.
Got this as I wanted a mic upgrade. It looks great on stream, has a nice red light to indict if it’s on or muted. I love how I can just tap the top of the mic to mute and unmute. All rounded good mic, have recommended to my streamer friends too.
I’ve tried a lot of microphones in the past but for my preference this is the best for me. Very good audio quality, it has everything that I need to record my YouTube videos I like how it comes with a shock mount and a built in pop filter. It’s a really good microphone for its value. I used to use a Blue Yeti microphone and I prefer this microphone over the Yeti.

I video conference and stream on the side and this mic has been fantastic in terms of quality and functionality. The main selling point for this product is the pricing for the product. Despite being cheaper than known competitors (Blue Yeti) it provides the same functionality though provides better recording quality due to the built in wind filter. The shock mount also is included with the microphone from streaming blocks the majority of the vibrations that occur when I type.
Although this microphone is a little more pricey than some, with all of the features it offers compared to other microphones, I would say it is definitely worth the money.
If you are a beginner streamer, or a mediocre one and investing money still isn’t a thing, this is a good mic for you.

I have mine in front of me – above my head to the left side as you can see on the picture.
I can still see my left screen and it catches audio perfectly from that position.
You can rotate the mic in the shock mount but you need to rotate it with the red rubbers that hold it.
The cable you get with it is long enough to cover anybodys needs.
Mute button on top of it is a touch button and works like a charm.
What I’d suggest is to set up a ‘GATE’ so it doesn’t pick up so much noise from the keyboard. You can use programs like VoiceMeeter which is pretty cheap. Free alternatives exist, but you’d need to google them.
I won’t make it too long since I am not a professional at audio equipment but I will say that I was surprised by the quality of the mic.

I have mine in front of me – above my head to the left side as you can see on the picture.
I can still see my left screen and it catches audio perfectly from that position.
You can rotate the mic in the shock mount but you need to rotate it with the red rubbers that hold it.
The cable you get with it is long enough to cover anybodys needs.
Mute button on top of it is a touch button and works like a charm.
What I’d suggest is to set up a ‘GATE’ so it doesn’t pick up so much noise from the keyboard. You can use programs like VoiceMeeter which is pretty cheap. Free alternatives exist, but you’d need to google them.
Very nice voice quality. Extremely nice design. Mute light is a beautiful touch. Didn’t fit my Mic Arm initially, but came with parts that fit perfectly to enable the Mic to fit. feels like it’s worth more than I paid. Stand feels very premium. Extremely happy with my purchase.
It’s a great mic for its price, voice is clear and well heard, if you’re looking for professional use, I would say it’s a maybe, but if you’re a streamer then I’d recommend it.

This mic is probably the best USB mic out there. You can just plug it in and the sound is amazing. I am using it to stream with OBS and after a bit of tweaking with the sound settings it sounds just as good as a professional mic.
If you want to have a clear nice voice streaming, talking to your friends or recording for YouTube without the hastle of a mixer then this is the way to go.
Also it looks amazing. I love it.
The mic Hyper X is on 3rd position on any top of 5 best mics for stream or records. The build quality exceed expectations. It is a heavy and very stable microphone. The sound quality is excellent but needs some time to adjust it. Pay attention that it will catch all the sounds from your room. If you need a good quality record you have to close the windows and keep your computer unit or laptop away of it. The fans from your units will create a background sound and you will not know the source of it until you will remove it.
PRO: Very sensitive.

CONS: Cannot say that is a Con but it is recommended to use an additional Pop Filter Windscreen or keep the microphone at a bigger distance from your mouth. The mic is built-in with its own filter but an additional one will be welcome.
The sound quality is amazing. It captures a very broad frequency range, keeping “fullness” and a nice bright sound across everything you utter into it. Whether you be shouting or whispering.
At higher than 75% gain levels though, there is a lot of static and mess picked up. I’d recommend keeping it around 50% gain, 100% gain in Windows, and using Discord or voicemeeter to adjust the actual recording level of the mic.
The build quality out of the box feels amazing. There was an aweful lot of weight to the mic. until that is you remove the included stand to put the mic on a boom, where you will realise it is EXTREMELY light weight. This is good for the boom arm, but it does make the product feel very cheap given what you are paying for it. Once you plug it in and get everything properly calibrated though, you will realise this is anything but.
It’s no XLR or top end mic by any means, but I think you’d be hard pressed to find a better USB mic on the market.

Such a wicked mic, I’ve used it for podcasts, recording vocals and recording acoustic guitar. It’s a great mic well worth the money.
Well worth the wait as it was out of stock when we ordered it. But it came into stock within a week. My son loves this and says it’s an amazing microphone. And is the envy of his friends now he has it.
Not really a review but looking for help. I bought the mic and have been using it for streaming and gaming with friends. It’s a good mic and I recommend it, however there is a feedback/interference buzzing noise that my friends can hear but I can’t unless listened back to. I’ve tested my phone and wireless headset next to it but can’t seem to find the problem, if the seller sees this can you please contact me and help me find out the problem. Thank you
Build quality feels nice, it picks up voice nicely, this is in front of my keyboard which is abit annoying as i tend to hit it and difficult to type xD so may decide to get an arm if i do keep this, but as long as it set on the right sensitive on VOIP like discord it barely reacts to my keyboard sounds while it never picks up my mouse sounds.
Only problem i have with this which may be the case with everyone else is the bright red glow, this is the reason why i toke 1 star off, if they made it RGB or able to set brightness. as i perfer green as it is calmer to my eyes and be nice to be able to dim the brightness to your liken. Tbh if i cant find something to help dim this light i may return it due to it… i play in the dark and having a bright red light shineing at the corner of my eyes is irritating.
Second thing I like is the mute feature by tapping at the top flat part of the microphone gently. It turns the lights OFF if on mute, and lights ON if not mute. Cannot be more obvious and easy to do than that.
Third, the sound. Voice feels clean and neutral with high quality to be able talk to friends in voicechat whilst gaming and even use for video recording like for youtube videos.
Lastly, the volume can be easily adjusted by rotating the bottom part of the microphone. I’d like to be able to “lock” the volume in some way as I like to play around with my microphone but not really important or needed feature at all.
Overall, all these features make this microphone an extremely intuitive, easy plug & play USB, stylish high quality microphone. I am very happy with it, as any better alternatives would not be USB most likely.
My old mic was starting to show its age (it was cheap and cheerful), so thought l would get something that might last and maybe be good. This mic ticks all the boxes, great sound quality, good build and just works out of the box (thats why you go USB mic l guess). With a couple small tweaks you can get this sounding top tier!

I can’t comment on this item from amazon because mine never turned up. I had to buy from a shop, but I’m giving a review as it’s all the same from a shop or amazon. Its extremely high sound quality, great build quality, looks stunning. I use mine for ps4 and pc. Its extremely easy to set up on ps4. Only down side is if you don’t plug your headset in the the microphone you can’t hear yourself so you can’t tell if your shouting 🙂 the touch mute microphone is a great feature
My son uses this for his pc gaming etc. He says its “Sick”. In our language i think thats very good! It looks very slick and has been very well made. I cant fault the mic quality either. The item gets a top score from my son which is rare. Worth it.

The blue yeti has awesome audio capture, but this piece of kit is on another level. Beautiful low and mid tones, crisp high tones and overall stunning clarity.
There is a gain slide on the bottom of the mic which helps with being further away from the mic, however, remember more gain equals more white noise and background unwanted audio. As standard this mic is fitted with a shock mount and internal pop filter, but I do recommend an external pop filter if you are going to be close to the mic.
The design is stunning, you are supplied with a mic stand / arm attachment so if you are streaming its all ready to go. The mute button is a great feature, you just tap the top and away you go, the mic led turns off so you know its muted.
Overall this mic is brilliant and after using it I can honestly say I would have paid double for this quality.
Cannot recommend this mic enough.
