This is a great NV unit for the money. If you are using it for hunting or security you need noting more to spot your intruder or target. It is very clear over 100 yards and you can see all objects clearly.
Some people that write reviews do not understand how night vision really works and make comments like well they work great when the moon is out but when it is cloudy and over cast they do not work as well and they cannot see as far well guess what people neither do the military grade ones!! Yes the military grade one will work better in adverse conditions but I have had time’s in my military career that our night vision was usless.
Night vision works with the subtle light that comes with the night sky the brighter the night is the brighter the night vision will be and the clear the picture will be for you.
Now I am not going to go into any more then that but I am going to say this for $100 bucks you can;t beat these night vision bino’s and with the 7 different levels of brightness you will have no problem seeing even on those darker nights.
So far I have tested these out at over 100yrds at night and they work great and I can see everything I need to very clearly. Now when you zoom in the picture will not be as clear but I don’t really need to zoom in I just need to see what is out there.
I have not yet used the video or camera options yet as I use these more to just as a tool to search my property at night and see what is out there.
Also as these are binoculars when you look at things about 30yrds and closer it makes everything right in your face just like a regular binocular will so keep that in mind when looking through them.
All and all for the price you really can’t beat these.
I gave them an over all 5 star rating not because I think there the best night vision binoculars out there but because for the price you are paying you are getting a pretty decent set of night vision binocluars and they fell well made and only time will tell how well they hold up been using them every night and have been very happy with them.
a couple of bonus things is one you can use these during the day as well which is nice and you can also get a tactical helmet mount for it as well and mount it to any tactical helmet that takes a mount which is nice as well.
and I do plan on buying a few more sets of these at this price for sure!

If you’re debating whether or not to purchase this device, your intentions for using this device could shape your decision. This is a near-infrared sensing camera with digital CMOS night vision capabilities. It has 2x digital zoom, and 7 different IR illuminator brightness settings. This device weighs an approximate weight of about 1-1.5lbs.
If you intend on using this device for animal spotting, bird watching, etc., It will perform best mounted on a tripod. This device has no image stabilization technology when your are just looking through it so minor movements shake the image quite a bit, however if mounted on a still point, it will work smoothly. However, if you intend to use this device for distance hunting (110+ yrd) or surveillance, I highly recommend using this device with the assistance of a higher power Infrared (IR) illuminator, an IR taclight, or an IR laser. In all honesty, the Nightfox 110R’s IR illuminator works fantastically at around >100 yrd. However, when using it at a distance, the IR illuminators “beam” is not focused to a sharp enough point to see beyond 130 yrd. If you do not want to use this alongside an external illuminator, I recommend purchasing an entirely different device instead.
If you intend to use this device for tactical reasons, like Airsoft for example, and plan on helmet mounting the 110R, here are a few things to keep in mind. Given that this device weighs ~1+ lbs, it will most likely weigh down your helmet so significantly to the point where the device (along with your helmet) is practically crushing your nose. And unless your helmet has a strong back strap, I highly recommend getting and using a counterweight to attach to the back of your helmet to balance this device. The field of view on this device is also something to consider, if you plan to use it (helmet mounted) to spot mid-long distances (50-100yrd), it will serve it’s purpose very well. However, If you plan on using it for room clearing or CQB events, it will be difficult to deal with the manual focus, motion blur, and limited field of view. I’ve never actually measured the FOV but I’d estimate it to be around 20-35 degrees. Nightfox has actually developed a design that is intended for CQB entirely. And lastly, one downside of using a digital night vision device (DNVD) for Airsoft (or other tactical uses) is the very strong emission of Infrared light. For those who don’t know, Infrared light is just out of the human’s visual light spectrum, so the IR illuminator on this device appears to our eyes as a very dim red light, however to cameras that can see IR light see it as a light about as bright as a 500-900 lumin flashlight. This may not matter if you are the only player with night vision, however, someone else with night vision would see what looks like you wearing a very bright headlamp.
At the end of the day, It’s fantastic quality and works great depending on what you’re using it for. It can work smoothly for Airsoft if you know how to work the system, and it’s great for night-spotting. I hope this helps.

This is perfect for looking out into my yard at night and seeing if any critters are moving around. FOV is a bit strange to get used to but for the price this thing works great.
I have used this item on duty three times now looking for suspects who have run into the woods. I bought this myself to use on the job. I work as a police officer and this item works better than I thought it was going to. Battery life is even reasonable.
These are a great bit of kit, easy to use, get some decent rechargeable batteries and it will go all night…found that no additional ir was required, great for spotting rats, rabbits and foxes.

First time purchase of night vision goggles, operating with basic spec and not high-end military spec. You get what you pay for. These binoculars range out at 165 yards like advertised. Buttons become easy to use and figure out. Foreground viewing screen brightness and IR mode (distance) lense brightness visibility work fine; it will take some playing with to find a clear screen that suits you, based on your light intensity. Be sure to remove the dust cap on the front and then adjust the focus manually on that same single lense, for best clarity at the furthest distance (just like a regular pair of binoculars). Objects in the distance are mostly clear, but not a lot of contrast definition. Battery usage will increase when in IR distance mode. Turn off when not using. Strap for the neck fits fine, and I’m 6′ at 220 pounds. Good value from AmazonWarehouse.com for a reduced cost.
Not used it to it’s full extent yet. Bought to see wildlife in our garden – looks very promising. Doesn’t go dark until about 10pm at night, will get more use it of it as the nights grow longer. Want to see the hedgehogs and maybe go into the adjacent field at night.

Bit weary of buying this to start as I thought it was like every other digital monocular out there but was very surprised. Took it out and with the ir already on there could see to 150 yards easily, So I added a small extra ir to the top rail and to be honest could see out clearly to 300/350 yards very clear too. It’s a bit bulky to add an extra ir to the unit but I can’t fault it. Very impressed with it.
You know for the money it is not bad at all. I was skeptical at first now me and my wife love using it randomly.

Da hier Amazon schuld war, ziehe ich dafr keinen Stern ab (wo Menschen arbeiten, passiert eben ein Fehler). Zudem gehrt guter Kundendienst ebenso mit 5* bewertet, erst wenn man etwas braucht, sieht man wie toll oder schlecht dieser ist.
Zum Gert: ich wollte damit den Hof und die angrenzenden Felder beobachten, da sich in den Nachtstunden hier von Tier bis Mensch viel herumtreibt. Das klappt damit wirklich prima. Mit einer Helmmontage sogar mit freien Hnden. Alles zusammen fr meinen laienhaften Einsatz ein 5*+ Gert bei diesem Preis-Leistungsverhltnis.

Product is like advertised! It works great, but it takes getting use to the functions and getting familiar with buttons on top! All and all its a great item.
It isnas to be expected by an IR night vision set. The IR eyes are bright, you can see a good distance in total darkness. The head mount is pretty good. Overall, its awesome, just lacks a record functio
These are excellent binos for the money. I currently use a military thermal scope and a pulsar digital night vision. Where others have said that these stand strong against other products like the ones I mentioned, i have to be clear, they do not. However, that being said, these are excellent for their price range and at the level they are competing at. I can see easily out to 300 yards by fitting an after fit IR torch and although it is not HD vision, it is easily clear enough for me to know what I’m looking at. Great for when you don’t need so much power or clarity or for those just starting out with night vision. Some reviews also mention that the eye piece is uncomfortable on the face. It is clearly not meant to be wrapped round the eyes as it’s hard rubber, if you managed to wrap it round the eyes then I’m guessing you Fell in the dark and that is why it was not pleasant for you. works great and does what it is supposed to

Value for money as I had one a few years ago that was treble the price not this model also I did purchase the infrared torch to improve its performance which it does for long distance .found it slightly a little bit to get used to it as I use binoculars mostly records very well no problem there just need more time for taking this product out for a few nights

Really good value for the money, over 6 hrs recording capacity on a 32gb card and once I fit my nightfox ir torch using the supplied top bracket it should increase battery life by not using the built-in ir.
Brought these for Hubby Christmas Present he was over the moon as he wanted to buy them his self but I choose not give him them when they arrived and waited for after Christmas day Lunch he wouldn’t put them down .

Looking out our windows for deer and foxes at night in north Florida. Other than moon and stars, no other lights to interfere with viewing. Certainly not military level but that’s not needed for family night viewing. Good product. Particularly for children. Great for monster hunting from their bedroom.
A little complex and not good for any stargazing at all compared with other digital monoculars but all in all very good
Overall I’m extremely pleased and these are definitely an amazing Bang for the buck NVGs! They work better than many others I’ve tried in the digital arena.

I like the night vision range.
100+ yards easy with pretty good clarity. What I don’t like is that even on 1.0 ( no zoom) you really need to be far away. You can’t see in close quarters. Like walking around room to room. These are for viewing at distance only.
Absolutely brilliant purchased for spotting the scum that are out at night shooting our badgers in the 2020 badger cull, batteries last a long time. Used them every night for over 2 weeks and only replaced the batteries once. Used a few night vision binoculars in the past and for the money these are excellent. Overall amazing for the money, good clear images ideal for spotting wildlife or spotting lowlife hiding with guns waiting to kill the wildlife you have just spotted.

Great quality image even at 10x the price.
The IR light is visible to other people and isn’t stealthy but it isn’t nearly as bright as I was expecting after reading other reviews. From about 10 feet it’s pretty visible. Every 10 feet though visibility reduces significantly. I sat it on a table in my yard in pitch black with no other light sources.
People probably know this but covering the IR illuminator will render it useless so you kind of have to live with the light being visible.
So nightvision wise id give it a 9/10. It definitely works properly and will light up the night for you to see.
I bought this to attach to my MICH tactical helmet and it works fine but the mount attached to the NVG itself is a little loose even with the screw so i had to make some custom/permeant adjustments to stop the wobble. Here comes the main reason i would give this a 4/5 overall…. The helmet mount +nvg mount provided bring the nvg down to my helmet but keep it about 2-3 inches off my face and 1/4 of it is non viewable due to not extending down far enough. The reason 2-3 inches off my face is important is because the light that it projects from the viewing area can be seen quite easily at night…. i would suggest buying a straight extension as well with the mounts for this to make it work “properly”. However that is ultimately your choice.
Now for the good stuff … and there are many. Unlike the rigid eye shield, the entire binocular housing is not only inherently lightweight but is also covered with a soft-to-the-touch rubberized coating. Also, there are 6 buttons on the top of the housing that function to control several of the binocular’s thoughtful features. They’re a little hard to get used to but give it proper time in the field and they’ll soon become second nature!
As far as fulfilling their purpose, they perform excellently and definitely worth every penny I paid, even with the troublesome eye shield. In conclusion, I am hopeful I’ll eventually find a workable and satisfying solution. Until then …..?
Needed to see our nightly visitors without scaring them,they come every night to be fed, this was the only way to watch ,it’s a fantastic way seeing nature at its best.

Da tenere presente che il visore si avvale di un illuminatore ad infrarossi, per cui impensabile usarlo per scopi tattici o pi semplicemente per giocare al softair, in quanto si visibili a centinaia di metri da chi possiede un sistema analogo o superiore…del resto se fosse un intensificatore di luce o un flir con temperatura di riferimento, il costo sarebbe di diverse migliaia di euro.
I received these for my birthday. I love the fact that I can get close to nature and take photos and/or videos – in theory – without disturbing the night time visitors to my garden. However, I found it difficult to wander around in the dark as I was worried I would stand on a creature. It would be useful to have some sort of light/torch attached/built into the product as I couldn’t see the buttons in the dark. I had to turn on an outside light from time to time which defeats the object of not wanting to disturb the night time wildlife. Otherwise the product is easy to use, fun and it is great being able to easily transfer the captured photos to a laptop. I haven’t tried the video function as yet. The product comes in a good quality case with simple instructions.

Ho ordinato adesso anche la torcia supplementare IR,sempre della night fox, al fine di ottimizzarlo ma possiede gia un illuminatore proprio funzionante.E anche molto leggero in confronto all’apparecchio che ho posseduto in precedenza. L immagine che si ottiene di tono grigio ed accendendo il proiettore IR, si ha l’effetto di una luce che illumina la zona che stiamo osservando,ovviamente gli altri non la vedono!la luce rossa dell IR pare non essere cosi evidente.
Appena possibile faro una escursione provando anche a scattare foto e registrare filmati,ho comperato la scheda unitamente al visore,verificando quindi se la prima impressione che ne ho avuto corretta.Ovviamente per coloro i quali vi la necessita dell’uso degli occhiali vi il normale problema che si ha con tutti i binocoli,appoggiarlo al viso non piu cosi confortevole. In sintesi, al momento le mie prime impressioni sono assolutamente positive,durata dei materiali e funzionamento nel tempo li verificher usandolo.Di primo acchito un buon acquisto.
I bought this just to watch the nightlife in the back garden so my review is quite limited. It’s fairly light but it’s good to use a tripod if possible. The image is good for what I have used so far. Good fun for kids too.
Great for the money, but tends to drift a little out of focus for no reason. Shame the eyepiece doesn’t fit better ergonomically to your face but still an all round a very useful set.

The night vision goggles of very good and easy to use when you first look at them you think they’re not going to be very good but I think they are 50 times better I imagine they would have been a lot dearer for the quality of the item
Decent product for the money. It didn’t bring in the night picture as well as other products I have used, but was still pretty good. I personally have a little problem with the buttons. I can’t remember what they all do, and a little hard to get my finger on the right one in the dark.
Easy to use. Instructions are in good English. These binoculars, really a monocular, give excellent viewing, have a built-in camera, and are very reasonably priced.
I was hesitant in buying this. I figured you wouldn’t be able to get night vision that works for under several hundred dollars. Needless to say, these do work just like they said. Your not going to see a mile away but what they do advertise 130 meters, yeah that’s about right. But on the other hand, I didn’t pay a fortune for them. My opinion , I would buy them again.

Surprised how effective they actually worked in the night time environment. I would never have thought a sub 150.00 night vision device would work this well. I have been able to watch wild pigs, deer, beavers, etc. from distances of 25 yards to nearly 150 yards with no problems. Great tool for spotting and panning areas while accessing hunting situations. Also can be used to keeping eye on your personal property and trespassers as well. Only downside is battery life but I have averaged over 2 hrs of run time on 8 AA batteries so I guess that might just me being picky. Would love to see some type of battery adapter configuration to give a longer run time.
As someone who is completely new to Night Vision this system was very easy to figure out and use. Took it out for a night time hog hunt in South Texas and came back with meat in the freezer. Pairs well with IR lights and lasers. This system (110R) works great as a spotting scope (how it was used on the hunt paired with an IR Laser) but I wouldn’t wear them while walking as it was like while looking through a pair of binoculars (which essentially they are)…. I could see so many yards ahead but not what was at my feet… However they preformed very well and gave me confidence in the brand that I will be purchasing one of Nightfox’s other products to fill that role. 10/10 would recommend for anyone looking to get into NVGs and on a budget.
