Great quality – quite stiff though and a bit hard to straighten especially near the end of the reel.

This cable can be directly crimped onto RJ45 connectors (in case you wondered, as I did!) – but you need to peel back some of the outer sheath. Electrically and mechanically this is sound, but doesn’t look great. Appreciate the cable isn’t designed for terminating like this, so this is just my comment, not a negative.

I ran 45 metres of this outdoor cat 5e cable, through two 70cm thick stone walls, up and down walls, over 2 roofs, down gutters, buried several metres underground etc. a big job by any means. Be aware this cable is quite rigid for protection so you won’t be able to turn sharp 90degree angles with less than say 10cm radius. I atached the rj45 sockets and was getting less than 1mbps from router to my PC and my heart sunk. The cable was fine and my termination to the RJ46 sockets a problem. An 11 device told me the 3 cables of 8 which needed better quality termination. Fixed it and now getting over 900mbps cable speed. Happy days !

Good cable and stood up to the task of installation around tight corners. I know about CAT cable bending and this cable worked fine. Bit thick but for the price and ease of pulling it, not a problem.

This cable is really good stuff. It’s tough so while people might complain about it being hard to handle, it means that even after you’ve wrestled it through your left it’s going to work. I’d take a hard to handle but working cable over a light broken one every day of the week.

It’s very string cable and seem to be created for Irish or UK weather outdoor.

Great cable, a little tough to terminate but did the job

Good strong cable. No speed loss at all on a 30 metre cable run from router. A bit thick and inflexible for use as patch cables but that is to be expected. Great for long distance runs though. Easy to terminate.

Due to the direct burial feature there is a an outer sleeve, which is as tough as old boots, extra removal of this is necessary to fit the cat6 terminals. Don’t let this put you off. Follow the video and chamfer the wire ends to aid insertion into the connecter/rj45.

Ran a 50m run of this to the bottom of the garden and it worked straight off 100%. Unlike the fully screened Kenable product I tried first. Wasted a lot of time. Should have bought this originally!!

Ran about 30 meters of this from front right upstairs down the wall around the back of the house and into the back left room where my modem router is. Bought some connectors and used my old crimping tool and the connection is good. Stuck my old Asus in AP mode and now have great wifi all over the house (2 story, five bed). Sat here on my phone getting 400+ up and down (on 900). Happy son as he lives upstairs.

I brought this because of I wanted some decent Cat6. I cut and crimped end part and it was really good quality.

Cut the other end (50m run) and the middle plastic cross which makes this Cat6 and not 5e was missing. I tried to contact the seller but it was FBA so this was not possible.

    Great cable but not cat6

I am able to get a full WiFi signal with this cable. Both WiFi and direct connection as if I am next to the router. Good quality and durability is very good. I run a 50 meter cable from router to log cabin and I still get 350 meg connection I have.

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersQuality cable, the outer jacket is solid, and the inner part of the cable is well constructed, it is easy to connect as well. If you are going to patch it as I did, you need to peel off the outer black sheathing before crimping.
