This generator is powerful and easy to use. Not as noisy as some but still creates noise. I would recommend this to anyone who wants a good generato

    Easy to set up.
    Started easily.
Although it is not loud it is a little noisier than I had hoped. But hey! It is a lot cheaper than a (quiet) Honda.

Loved this generator. It’s quiet and easy to move around. Great power and not expensive to run.

Does what it is supposed to. Although the screwdriver and jug were missing from the package and no obvious way to contact the seller.

Very easy to use, and also easy to change the oil. After running the generator for a short period of time, I changed the oil only to find very fine glitter debris in it, not a problem as you get plenty of oil with the generator on purchase to change it. I would recommend (as said before me) buy better oil, but the stuff you get with it is fine to get you going. One thing to note is that the generator has an oil level sensor, and if the oil is too low the engine won’t start. Feel reassured at last to fill my frezer.

Seems to be great, got it for the caravan when there’s no hook up and works well except one occasion when I couldn’t start it, left it for an hour or so and it fired up no problem

Golden Review Award: 13 From Our UsersNew Review Dec 21. During a very recent 65 hour power cut during Storm Arwen Nov 2021 that took our village power out, our P1 generator provided us with power for our 3 chest freezers plus leisure battery charging to allow inverters with 240v Table lamps for the evenings, keep the vhf communications between our home and my mother in laws home across the village when the phones went off after approximately 12 hour mobile cell tower backup. I could not switch all freezers on at the same time because of the start up current is massive, but I could switch one on at a time and all 3 worked together perfectly. We ran the generator for approx 8 hours per day (2x4hours) and the food remained frozen. It was also taken to the mother in laws daily to maintain her freezer/fridge and charge further 12volt batteries for more table lamps. It never missed a beat, so we decided to buy a second generator which is the same as the one i have also reviewed on here 3 years ago, so the elderly Mother in law can also benefit and we have a back up for the back up. Remember to use Super unleaded E5 – NOT E10.

Original Review of 2018. Use this for our caravan when not on hook up, runs for just over
4.5 hours running an 800 watt halogen heater when the gas runs out,
runs for approx 7-8 hours on a full tank ticking over up to 200 watts.
Compared to friends Clarke 1000 watt silent generator the P1000 is much
quieter, and with a long 30m extension cable its hardly noticeable on full power. I changed the first cheap 30 grade mower oil after 1 hour from new not the 20 hours recommended and the oil was full of metal bits, then did another 10 hours running in on approx 800 watts on and off every few mins to wear in the bores, again on the mineral mower oil. My final oil i’m using is 5/30 fully synthetic. I would highly
recommend this for caravan and back up use for fridges etc.
