It is nice but after a while it got slacked. It is not as durable as the original Nitendo product but manageable since the original Nitendo product is scarce.

This is exactly what I needed for my Nintendo Switch. Easy purchase!
There is a tiny bit of wiggle on my left controller when attached and the gap for the release button is quite tight for my fingers – but apart from that it’s great!
It feels great in the hand, the back of the grip has a rubber texture that provides lots of grip even with wet hands. And the image quality on the front is way better than I ever expected for the price.

Am Anfang war alles gut. Sieht aus wie Original. Hlt auch gut. Jetzt fliegt der linke Controller einfach raus. Damit nicht benutzbar.
It’s the same basic shape as the OEM. The back of the handles has a grippy layer instead of smooth plastic which I like.

Overall design is pretty much identical to the stock grip but it has a slightly nicer texture for the back side. Product delivered as advertised.

I think I’ve been using this instead of the original. No noticible difference other than perhaps some texture difference. Sometimes it takes a moment to connect at the beginning, but the original will do that too. No issues during game play.

Mais confortvel que o original! Eu fiquei meio inseguro porque adoro os itens originais com os logos e tal, mas me atendeu perfeitamente. Acabei deixando o que veio com o console para a minha mina, a mo dela menor, deu tudo certo. A pegada maior e a parte traseira emborrachada do mais segurana pra quem quer jogar mais tempo. Podem comprar sem medo.

Better comfort than the original grip, worse tolerances. My left joycon creaks when I say, click the thumbstick, where on the original both are in absolutely rock solid and aside from the worse in-hand design are just built far better. Would still buy again if I lose my original grip again.

It’s really comfortable in the hands when playing and you can grip it well too.
My kids use this and have no issues using it at all. My youngest is 5 years old and due to the design of this it’s easy for her to remove and install the joy cons into it.

I purchased this item instead of an original! I was a bit worried it wouldn’t be as good but it is perfect, our son prefers it to the one that came with his console!
A very simple design but very effective, comfortable to use, the padding on the rear is nice too and the holes to let the joycons shine light through work well.
With a slightly different ergonomic feel to it (grip hold sections) and premium rubberised grip (which doesn’t come on the standard Nintendo one) it’s a no brainer.
Always battle my 6 year old for this one
Has a very premium feel with a rubber like feel to the back of the grip! My partner loves it! Would highly recomend to anyone, especially the animal crossing fans! Works pefect just like the original one from the box! 5 stars from us

Does the job and reasonable price, it’s not directly from Nintendo but seemed to be licensed and approved by Nintendo and works fine. Does not have the official Nintendo switch logo/print on the front of the computer controller but otherwise quite similar.

I really like the design. The shape is slightly wider than the original grip that comes with the Switch and it also has a rubberized backing.
The sliders where the controllers attach is plastic rather than metal so it doesn’t click as firmly but I have had no problems with this so far, while not as firm it’s still not loose.
The plastic is lower quality than the original too, but overall I prefer this design for its looks and comfort.

Love it. Literally use it everyday. I find it much easier to use this than the handheld version of the switch. It’s comfortable, perfectly sized for me, love the design and colour. If they made a version of this that could be charged, I’d love that instead of having to remove the joycons but that’s just being picky! Definitely recommend! I think I’ll be getting another one once I have another set of Joycons too.
Does the job works perfect. Basically the same as the official nintendo one.
Does what it says on the tin! It holds the joy cons. It’s not as comfortable as the pro controller but when I’m travelling I don’t want to lug several controllers! It won’t charge the joycons but if you put them back on the console and charge up overnight its not an issue. Very handy.

More comfortable to hold than the original, because of the slightly different shape grip on the back, and it’s really cute. Definitely worth buying if you’re in need of another or want a spare.
We have a second set of Joy-Cons, so having a second grip made sense. How could I say ‘no’ to Pikachu then? The grip has a nice rubberised feel on its underside. I find the shape of the grip at the top interferes a little with the ZL and ZR buttons, or at least confused my fingers, but I’m the only one in the family who finds that.
It’s not the same joy con grip that comes packed in with your console, but it’s not too far off from it. It’s sturdy and durable and a bit more comfy than the one that comes packed in. But it is officially licensed by Nintendo (but made by Power A). The only major difference here being that the rail your joy cons slide into are plastic, as opposed to metal in the joy con grip that comes packed with the console, but it has no impact on gameplay. Durability might be a concern, but given the price, I wouldn’t worry too much. You can buy this with confidence, no issues here at all.

Really good product and actually better than the one that comes with your Switch! The reason for that is that the grip on the controller has some sort of rubberised texture which helps when gaming for long periods.

Works well, haven’t had any problems. It’s a bit more wide than the official switch grip controller, but my husband actually likes it better because his hands are larger.

This product is not the exact same as the grip you get with the switch, but I think it’s possibly better. the shape is better and it has rubber surface on the rear. Other people have complained that the shape gets in the way of the rear triggers on the joy cons but I don’t see any issue, there’s plenty of clearance for the triggers and it’s comfortable to hold when not requiring the triggers. If anything I would say the shape gets in the way of the joy con release buttons, but not to the extend that it’s difficult to remove them.
My joycons fit into this controller perfectly and sit nicely.
It’s so much easier having one of these each, it’s nice to have a real feeling controller in your hands rather than sharing a piece of one. Fits comfortably in the hand
This makes such a difference to your joycon controllers. While the official one is okay, this is so much more comfortable and as long as you are comfortable playing games with the Joycons, this is a cheaper alternative to buying a rediculously priced pro controller. Only small gripe is that one joycon slides down very easily, the other joycon requires a but of a push

Works well and feel much better than the original supplied with the Nintendo Switch. And much better value than any others out there.
Perfect little pad, dare i say better than the original as it’s rubber like coated instead of smooth plastic so easier to hold and not as sweaty. For the price it’s perfect, not genuine Nintendo but built under licence so almost an exact copy

Perfect for having another two joy cons. Keep one in the dock to charge and one with you to play (goes well with the grey ones)
Interestingly, Nintendo appear to be licensing out their peripherals to third parties to fulfil. The official charging stand is from Hori, this comfort grip is from PowerA.
I paid 9 for this and you shouldn’t pay more either, so be dubious of high prices and head to the high street if someone is attempting to ask for anything like 20.
It is different to the grip included with the Switch itself. It is ever so slightly wider and heavier. There is no branding on the central plastic bit. The grips themselves are more textured. The handles, rather than tapering towards the triggers, feature a tangible lip. Ergonomically, it is pretty similar, however you may find that lip something that you have to get used to. Plus it also obscures the detach buttons ever so slightly.
All in all, it does the job and you can’t really complain at its sub 10 pricing. It would be nice to be able to buy an absolute replica of the packed in version you get with the console though.
I actually find this controller more comfortable to use than the Nintendo version. The rubberised grips prevents sweaty hands from slipping and the controller is slightly longer making it better for bigger hands.
The color of this grip is a little lighter than the original Nintendo Red. It looks more like a red-orange. But it grips well. All in all a good product and a fair price.
I bought the red one as it was a little bit cheaper than the black/others but it’s super comfy to play with and Zelda using this is much better than holding the joy cons in either hand.
Only reservation I have is that the runners where you slide the joy-cons into it are made of plastic so wonder if they may wear quicker over time. At the moment they slide in very smoothly so I don’t think it’ll be an issue.
I plumped for the black unit, simply because for some reason it’s cheaper! Would have been nice to have a red one but what’s the point?

Fantastic quality. If you’re thinking this feels the same as the comfort grip you get with the switch, this one is better. The grips are sculpted to feel a lot like the Dualshock 4 controller, so it’s a bit more comfortable than usual.
Cons:
>Plastic feels cheaper than the regular grip
>Lights on the face are dimmer and slightly misted.
>The rails that the joycons slide into are plastic not metal, making the sliding action less smooth and the click into place less satisfying.
>It feels like the shape of the grip makes it slightly harder to rest your fingers on the ZL and ZR buttons due to the angle of the joycons, your fingers want to slide off.
Pros:
>Rubberised texture on the back of the handles makes them easier to hold.
>Ever so slightly wider and more ergonomic shape makes the grip nicer to hold than the regular grip.
>Excellent price point compared to the alternative of buying a Charging grip from Nintendo.
If you need a second grip for your joycon controllers then don’t hesitate to pull the trigger on buying this product, however if you’re looking for a better grip for your personal joycons, then perhaps the difference between this and the regular grip isn’t quite worth buying another grip for.
