This strimmer is worth every penny for me, I have a mature garden that needs a lot of tidy up. This tool really is a beast if you need it but it’s heavy, long and doesn’t have many of the adjustable bits that more consumer focussed ones do such as a tilting head and adjustable length. If you need something so powerful go for it, I might keep my cheap Aldi one as well for when I want to have a quick tidy up of the lawn edge

Great product. I have used a similar worx strimmer for last 5 years on a very large 5+acre garden . Brilliant and batteries still good . This one however is designed on extender differently and tends to rotate slightly so needs to be tight on extension adjuster . Hope it lasts as long !

I’ve waited a few weeks to review and can say I’m very pleased with this. The brushcutter is just as powerful as a petrol one and it’s about 1/3 of the weight. It’s very easy to use. Battery life depends on how hard you are working it – cutting blackthorn suckers about 20 minutes; cutting grass or brambles about 30. Very quiet, you don’t need ear defenders but don’t be tempted not to wear goggles because it throws up chips just like a petrol one. It suits me perfectly because I’m a 5ft woman and really struggled to manage a petrol one

Well made plenty off power but batteries don’t last that long I would say about half hour striming in eco mode

First one I ordered was DOA and it took over 2 weeks for Amazon to refund me. The second unit however is a brilliant piece of kit. It also works with the heads from 1 inch square drive petrol tools which is good.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersI bought this for our larger than average sized garden to tackle a bit of an overgrown area, as well as looking for something a bit more portable than our mower to trim areas of grass out of the front that we have.

Firstly, this almost floats over areas of grass due to the design of the head and therefore it worked exactly as I had hoped for the small areas of lawn we have aside from the main rear garden, where it was a pain setting up our mower. Really easy to use just for a quick cut of the grass and weeds.

I do agree with the previous comment about eco mode. This should be normal mode as full mode is absolutely ridiculous. This is turbo charged trimming to the extreme and our newly charged batteries lasted about 10 minutes before I realised what the eco button was for….and all in all provided a calmer experience whilst still doing a more than adequate job.

All in all, this is an absolute beast and no comparison to the predecessor we had which was a 70 effort from screwfix. In hindsight, possibly a bit OTT but the option to add different attachments definitely appealed, so hopefully a decent investment. It is also much easier to carry and trim despite being significantly heavier, and has in fairness to worx been really well designed to provide perfect balance so it is as easy as possible to use.

The product is highly adaptable and it’s easy to change the cutting head. Needs to be used in Eco mode to achieve long battery life.

Golden Review Award: 6 From Our UsersI spend (and I do mean) a lot of time strimming and I bought this to replace a different Worx model which I had worn out. The first thing I noticed was a significant upgrade in terms of power and then after a little while it was clear why. The thing will chew through your batteries very quickly. The Eco mode does help (and really it should be the default each time you start) but what I would really like to be able to set the maximum speed without having to carefully hold the throttle which is too senstive. I haven’t tried the Brush Cutter attachment yet but I suspect it will be the same as the strimmer… a bit of a beast, great for heavy duty work but runs out of puff a bit too quickly.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersThe 40 volts really gives the extra power. I had the hedge trimmer attachment and it made short work of a quite overgrown hedge.

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersWhat an amazing strimmer. I bought this as i was so impressed with the hedge cutter and chain saw. Very powerful and the line isn’t always breaking which it did on my old petrol strimmer. Would highly recommend.
