DK SONIC 600ml digital household ultrasonic cleaner is a professional ultrasonic jewelry cleaner and it can be used to not only clean jewelries, but also clean other small stuffs with complex-surfaces, such as shaver heads, watch parts etc., and is characterized by simple, user-friendly operation. I shall recommend to friends. I have an Ultrawave U50 which I have had for 30yrs+ but I needed a basket for it and it was cheaper to buy this model, iuse it mainly with piercing instruments.
Liked the fact that it is big enough to hold more than one item at a time. Used it with a jewellery cleaning fluid and things came out sparkling although some needed repeated sessions as had not been cleaned in years. Very easy to use and clean. You can see the dirt in the tank. Arrived next day but cleaning fluid took longer as it has to be sent separately. Remember that this will not remove tarnish from silver items. You need a silver cleaner for that.
I use to clean my retainer. It does work overtime. It takes awhile but it does work.

I got this for cleaning small nitro engine parts from an RC car it has an internal basket to keep the parts together a timer for how long they are in the cleaner it has a degas and constant clean mode it is a nice compact unit I have been using this for a long time now and I have never had any problems with it the only thing it doesn’t do is heat the water out I have found if I put warm water in the machine the action of the sonic clean keeps the water warm it does make a good job of cleaning if used with a suitable sonic cleaner detergent the item arrived well packaged and as described by the seller I would recommend this to anyone looking for a small parts cleane
All of my jewellery is nice and shiny like new after using this. 1/2 items at a time is better than over loading with multiple items.
Pretty good for cleaning airbrush and stripping models. The issue I have is that I had a cheaper one that could disintegrate aluminium foil, but this one can’t. Maybe less powerful than my old cheap one? Still works though.
I bought this with some trepidation (online reviews of every ultrasonic cleaner seem to imply it will set on fire and not clean anything at all) specifically to clean my glasses which tend to get greasy and hard to clean within a day or two of wear.
Tried it with my oldest pair of glasses, which are all scratched up and dirty. Put in a dash of dish detergent, filled it up, and put the glasses in (lenses UP so they can’t touch the metal basket which could potentially scratch them) and gave it the standard 3 minute treatment. Being naturally curious I peered in the whole time and saw plenty of dirt floating off. Pulled them out, rinsed under the tap and dabbed them dry and buffed them with a glasses cloth. Of course they were still scratched as they started out that way but they were practically spotlessly clean on the lens surface and in all the little crevices where grease accumulates.
Tried it a couple more times with the sacrifical pair with no apparent issues, then tried my brand new glasses. They too came out nearly spotless (one or two stubborn specks of dirt remained adhered but came off with the cloth). Crucially, all the grease was gone so using the cloth after now gets them clean instead of just smearing the grease around.
NB – both pairs of glasses fitted inside the basket fine. I believe I have a normally sized head and choose quite large lenses (think aviator style) as I hate the letterbox effect of modern slim rectangular frames.
I also tried putting in some old telescope parts (prism and mirror from 2 star diagonals) that had sat in an unheated room for 15 years and were unusably dirty, even after my attempts to clean them. After reassembly, one was now usable and gave a clear image. The only thing they couldn’t fix was where fungus had eaten away the surface coating on the other one, which is totally reasonable. Because they were quite delicate components before putting those in I put down some acetate film into the basket to give them a smooth non-metal surface to sit on to avoid any possibility of scratches.
Cons:
1) the cat HATES the sound and runs to the other end of the house when it’s in use
2) cable is a bit too short so I can’t place it where I wanted to and it now has to live in a slightly weird location (but you can probably use an extension cord or put it on a kitchen counter and it’ll be fine)
3) you have to fill/empty the unit as a whole. I was hoping the water container could be removed separately but it can’t, so there is always the risk of splashing water into the electrical bits, so you have to unlpug it, empty and fill it carefully and dry the outside off after use, so two stars off for ‘easy to clean’.
4) the handles on the basket don’t sit quite right on the rim and will flop back into the basket during use, although that hasn’t been a big deal.
I will update this review if it catches fire.
Overall, 4 stars after about a week with it.
I’d been meaning to get one for ages and now I wouldn’t be without one! They’re basically magic… You put dirty, grubby things in and brand new things come out… or at least that’s how they appear. This thing will be so useful to me and I can see myself having to get an even bigger one in the future. Definitely recommended!
Purchased for the wife jewellery cleaning and on most for the cleaning the sparkle returns but will not resolve tarnished damage.
I love this and have cleaned lots of different items all of which come out sparkling!

I purchased this item initially to clean my fountain pen nibs, which it does a wonderful job it’s amazing how much dried ink is in the quills. I have since gone on to cleaning items of jewellery, rings and chains again they have come out like new.
This is a small unit, but ideal for small items as I have described.
I purchased this for the sole purpose of cleaning the inside of a carburettor off an old motorcycle.The results were better than expected.
The outside of the carburettor was clean to begin with but due to the amount of debris in the bottom of the cleaner it was clear the inside of the carburettor wasnt. It shifted some solid pieces that I couldn’t see with a visual inspection.
Perfect for airbrush cleaning, fill to the max line with alcohol or whatever cleaning solution you want and set the timer. Just watch you don’t have anything valuable on the same surface as it does vibrate a lo

This is probably the best value small ultrasonic cleaner – it’s well made out of stainless steel and works well – I got it for cleaning watch bracelets and other hard to clean items. Be aware though that like most ultrasonic cleaners it will only shift dirt that is already fairly loose – hard caked grime needs to be loosened a bit first, and it will not shift grease, although so far I’ve only used it with soapy water or Octopus jewellry cleaning fluid. You may be able to use other mediums like thinners in water etc. but I haven’t tried this yet. For what I’ve used it for so far it does work very well.

Fab little ultrasonic, I use it to clean & sterilise my manicure tools and e-file drill bits, with a few drops of Milton fluid in with the water (tools are cleaned with soap & rinsed first!).
Knocked a star off for having wonky feet, but it doesn’t stop it working properly.

I’m thrilled with my ultrasonic cleaner. I can get more than all of my 10 sets of instruments in and theres still plenty of room. My only complaint is its noisy. But if you can ignore the noise whilst it’s working I think the purchasers will be very happy.

I tried cleaning rotary shaver blades and covers and these were almost as new after a single 6 minute clean – so much better than I could do manually with 15 – 20 minutes of brushing. Overall, so far, I am very pleased with the results.

The only problem for me, and not a fault of the product at all, but it just about takes my average sized spectacles. The dimensions are clearly stated but I should have got the larger one. I may well do that!
