Portable lightweight BBQ. The air holes that are usually underneath are actually on the sides of this model, but they still work very well for offset cooking. The only issue I found was that the ash catcher is useless as there’s no holes underneath. Great little BBQ. Would definitely recommend

I bought this for my daughter and me to enjoy the odd BBQ during the summer. We worked out that we only had to use it 4 or 5 times to make it cheaper than buying disposable ones. Previous BBQs have rusted during the winter and clogged up with grease, so we reckoned that we could just put this in the recycling at the end of the season if it doesn’t look worth saving. But based on its robustness and performance so far I think we might be using it next year too.
Delighted with it so far. Pork steaks, chicken thighs, sweetcorn all cooked up a treat.
One hint when assembling: Put the round silver ashplate on the tripod before attaching the legs to the bowl. It’s almost impossible to tighten it if you do it the other way round.
Hope you enjoy your BBQ nights as much as we are.

Works great using charcoal. I use it out camping as it goes back in the box when finished. I’ve cooked everything from sausages, tacos & roast lamb. The vents work well. I will add a thermometer to the lid for better control. I’ve already modified it with some welding to make it quicker to set up & take down. Have used it about twelve times with no problems at all.

Got this as a cheap stop gap while my main bbq is in transit. East to assemble. It works! Cooked several meals. Best for direct grilling with the lid off , the side vents don’t seem to work will for indirect/lid on type cooking. Overall not bad for 20 quid! Don’t mention the redundant ash tray

Not used to charcoal bbq as always used gas but wanted one for day trips with the kids. Enough space to cook approx 4 burgers and up to 12 thick sausages. Takes a while to burn to begin with but guessing that’s the charcoal and not the bbq itself. It has a drip tray but no holes for the drips to come out. It has a metal handle that holds the lid on so you can walk carrying it and it doesn’t come apart. Good buy and has lasted us through this summer.

A little fiddly to build, but seems solid enough once put together.
We’ve used it once and it was great, kept a decent temp for cooking.

Weber chimney fits in it perfectly. You can get rid of the dirty smoke at the bottom of your garden, and then put it in a Weber in a more convenient place without smoking your house out. You don’t need to spent 100

Not the best quality but what’s more worrying is that there is an ash catcher below the bowl and there are no holes for the ash to fall! Can drill holes as probably not worth returning for what that would cost. We live and learn.
