It is a great keyboard, good budget one. Unfortunately for me I hadn’t paid attention that this keyboard is optical meaning the switches I had bought prior weren’t compatible with this keyboard. That is the only issue though, using this has been fine although I will most likely switch to a keyboard that is compatible with the switches I bought.

I use this for gaming all the time. It feels incredibly smooth and clean. The LED lights are also really smooth and the keyboard overall is pretty easy to use and figure out. My only complaint is that the instructions are somewhat unclear but apart from that very easy to use and overall a pretty good product.

i use this keyboard for regular gaming – you can tell it feels like a budget board but for general gaming and not a high budget would deffinetly reccomend.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersHonestly this is a very good keyboard, has great RGB (Lighting) and just feels good. There are only 2 THINGS I DISLIKE about this keyboard. It is very small in my opinion even though its normal for gaming keyboards to be small this one feels very small. What really bothers me is that it makes so much noise it depends on the switch you get but it was super loud. When my brother would use the keyboard in the morning he would wake me up to the sound of clickity-clackity. In other terms DON’T BUY IF YOU DONT LIKE LOUD KEYBAORDS! Other than that I really like the 18 or something RGB functions from right out the box.
    Thanks for reading

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersFirst of all I had to return one lavender GK61 keyboard I got which was faulty due to the equals and plus /f12 (=+) key was triggering the whole top right set of keys ({[]}=+ and enter) so that’s mainly why I gave 4 stars, another thing is that the keyboard feels quite sensitive which can be a bad thing for gaming for example resting my finger on key caps sometimes select that key, this can be annoying when playing a game like Fortnite when your ready your finger on a building key and it accidentally triggers.

Some good things on the GK61. Hot-swappable switches gives you a the chance to upgrade. the typing experience which is smooth and satisfying, the sound of the keys are a little clicky and thoccy ( Gateron mechanical yellows), the color of the keyboard is very accurate to the listing image’s and the rgb is very vibrant and has a lot of customizability with the app.

Overall the GK61 is worth the 69.99 price tag due to the pleasing experience I’ve had so far with typing and performance in long gaming sessions.

he keyboard is great for its budget, but there’s just tiny things about it that just make it pretty bad. This is a keyboard that you mod and don’t really use it stock, like the key caps are noticeably wobbly when you really focus on it and the rgb isn’t the brightest so overall i give this keyboard a 6.5/10

This is a great product but the led lights on the keyboard don’t work for me and I’m trying to reach out to the people of the keyboard if any body could help!

The keyboard is good, but I got a typo on my keyboard kry (two esc keys instead of ‘1!’)

Deciding whether to keep it or return it because I really like the keyboard.

Update: They were kind enough to give me a refund of 10 and keep the keyboard(I can just replace the key now). So 5 stars for that.

All Good, except a Typo on my Keyboard.

Golden Review Award: 4 From Our UsersCurrently writing this on my GK61 with silver switches which I have used for about a month now, the keeb is great, mine came pre lubed and sounds alright stock. The main issue I have is the tacky software, which feels like a very unexperienced person put up in 10 minutes. Its extremly buggy, and I found it was difficult to manuever. Other than that, the layout may be difficult to adapt to, as it uses an American ISO Layout.

Everything is great... except the software

Keyboard was amazing! Was trying out a pre-built to see how it was (after not using a pre-built for a good few years), and the gk61 was surprisingly good! 100% reccomened to anyone who wants to try out pre-builds or just anyone who is looking for the best keyboard apart from a few, and the price for this keyboard i’d personally say is way under!

This Keyboard Is Very Good Gor The Price It Is Okay And It Is Good At Typing And Gaming, The Switches Feel Good And Smooth, This Keyboard Is Not Height Adjustable But Angle They Give Is Good And Isn’t Annoying But This Could Be Different To Other People. My Biggest Problem Is That The RGB Software Is Terrible And Not Good At All It Is Very Basic And For The Price You Are Paying This Is Something Basic You Would Expect So Do Not Buy This. Instead Buy A GK61 From The Brand Epomaker Skyloong As It Is The Same Keyboard But With Good RGB Software And Quite Literally The Same Keyboard As This One But Just With Different Switches (Maybe)
And Better RGB Software And That Keyboard Can Be Found On Their Website Or Amazon. This Keyboard Would Have Been Better If It Had Better RGB Software Or If It Had A Lower Price.

everything works as it should, has a nice clack to it thats not loud unless you’re bashing on the keys. doesn’t need to be pushed in fully for the keys to register. and you can swap keycaps easily.

I have been using this keyboard for over a month now I believe. And from my limited experience i can safely comment on a few things

    Packaging
    – Ok the packaging for this is pretty shady lol. My box was all dinged up, the sticker that is supposed to
hold it close was open and lost all it’s adhesive 🙂 But regardless, inside the keyboard was pretty safe
and hadn’t moved or been damaged at all

    Build
    – Sturdy build with no loose parts or rattling’
    – Aluminum switch plate feels premium and gives a good feel
    – Keycaps are decent, not the best but didn’t expect them to be. I would suggest upgrading to PBT
keycaps as this board is pretty much build to be customized.
    – Cable is of decent quality as well, so is the keycap puller and switch puller
    – This keyboard also says “pre lubed” like every other mechanical keyboard lol, but it’s very minimal and
has no effect on the sound/feel even if you wipe it off. I recommend lubing them on your own.
I would recommend Petreplus 2700 if you’re not looking to spend 5k on 10grams of krytox205g0 lol.
I have a review on the lube too, and in my experience, it’s a good lube if used correctly.

    Switches
    – I have the brown switches. Good, fast, smooth, and sound if very pleasing as well.
    – Again, pRe lUbEd, so wipe that stuff off, and lube them yourself, that will just elevate the experience.

    Cons
    – The PCB and switch plate sit very deep into the case, which is good for sturdiness and security, but then
if you want to add foam to your keyboard, that would be a bit difficult. Maybe i didn’t do it right, but
    thats my experience.
    – The software is janky AF. HK gaming really needs to focus on this, otherwise, their brand image will
never be able to get better as their software feels like something from Windows XP. But the keyboard
isn’t very software dependant, so it isn’t much of an issue. There are keys to switch between light
modes, but if you want to keep custom lighting then you’ll need the software, which is relatively simply
to use, even though it looks very very old lol.
    – This board is a 60% which might be small for a lot of people. I didn’t mind it at all, in fact I loved it. I edit videos and photos, and i didn’t face any problems, and I love the compact size. But I know most people don’t, so listing it here as a con.

All in all, I would recommend this board due to its high customizability. You can go for the Keychron V2 hot swap version if you want something bigger than a 60% as well, but this was cheaper than that for me and based on reviews pretty much giving in direct competition as a good budget mechanical keyboard
But I am happy with my decision, hope this helped you in making yours too.

I used to have tvs gold with long hua blue switches , switching from that this keyboard feels a lot lighter, as I have the optical yellow . This one is a little hard to get used to for typing because just resting your hands causes a lot of typos but once you get used to it its the best thing ever. because of its low actuation it would help you type faster but this is not suggested for beginners as they would need a tactile feedback. For beginners something like optical brown or black should be perfect. But you could also swap them with linear or clicky later once you feel that you don’t need them. Overall I’m very satisfied with this product , its portable and very sturdy while also being able to swap switches.

I received GK61 with silver switches today for rs 5500. I used this for a week and I can say that this keyboard is absolutely awesome, and smooth. I prefer silver switches than yellow just by a one point difference which is not that big of a deal but yellow and silver switches are just same but silver is quiter. The keycaps are goos but after many months of use, change ur keycaps as they get shinny. Don’t think keycaps are low quality but most of the keyboard share the same material. I bought this for gaming and also type but not much. My gameplay improved a lot in valorant. The 60% keyboard makes it easier, lighter and takes less space. For the price of rs 5000- rs 6000, this is a very very good deal. Just buy it you will not regret it.

Golden Review Award: 23 From Our UsersReally nice keeb especially for first time custom keeb users. 60% is a lovely size for more mouse freedom. Hot swappable so you can easily change the keycaps and switches. Usb C is on the left hand side of the keeb which can be annoying if you don’t have a long cable and your pc is on your right . Rgb is nice and easy to install the software or you can change the rgb on the keyboard pressing two buttons can’t remember which though. Overall great value for money

I bought the silver optical switch version. Its great for typing, but its a little difficult to get used to this while gaming(I accidentally hit spacebar while WASD). I keep doing misclicks, because of very low actuation force. Great value for money.

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersThis is not a GK61 from “Meckeys”. This is HK gaming gk61 and trust me this is for Rs5,499 which is not worth the money you pay and its an optical mechanical keyboard not an Mechanical ones. IMPORTANT!! This keyboard doesn’t provide stoppers or grip in bottom, they have just given empty slots in grip section. Also this one has different lightning modes than what u get in GK61 from meckeys which is for 5,200 rs. I got it with silver switches and tbh switches are amazing no doubt.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersI wanted to like this keyboard SO BAD but I just couldn’t and the reason for that is the layout of it.

I am used to fullsize keyboards and have been looking for a purple keyboard with RGB leds for the LONGEST time. When I found this one, I figured I would get used to the smaller layout of the keyboard, but I received it and just hated it. With pain in my heart, I returned it.

If you like small keyboard layouts, I recommend this product 100% which is why I’m writing this review. It’s just not for me. The RGB leds were absolutely gorgeous and the keyboard overall felt very nice and durable when testing it out. The colour lavender it has is absolutely perfect.

All in all, if this keyboard existed in fullsize layout I would absolutely THROW my money at it because it’s exactly what I’ve been looking for. But I just can’t with the small layout. So sad 🙁

This keyboard is a really good option for a budget 60%. The optical gateron switches feel great (I got blacks) and the stabs are alright but the spacebar rattles a bit. It has plenty of good preset lighting modes and the rgb is really bright. You can also download a lighting software but I ended up not using it as the presets were better. I also customized it with custom keycaps (last pictures) and I plan to foam mod it and lube the switches.
I have had this keyboard for about 5 months and it still works perfectly with no problems at all. I would really recommend this to anyone.

Best keyboard for it’s price. We can change keycaps and also switches in this keyboard. Top for gaming. It has a great look and gives your set up an aesthetic look and all switches are programable and has lots of light effects and can also customize it. Using of the software is good not that simple but can be figured out easily. If you have an 1000 more to spend buy the yellow switches which is more faster than brown. But brown is not bad it is also very good but comparatively yellow is slightly good.

There are better options but personally this wasn’t bad. It is a bit over hyped and not too fast but still for a $70 keyboard it’s phenomenal! You can’t go wrong with this keyboard. The only negative thing I can think of is my disappointment of the overhype. It is not as fast as they say it is but then again it isn’t slow.

    Pros:
    -El teclado no tiene flex.
    -Suave como mantequilla.
-Fuerza de actuacin alta y consistente(Gateron negros)

    Contras:

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersLike the fact that it is a 60% keyboard so it fits comfortably on the desk without any issue. However, the software is quite complex to operate compared to other brand such as: Corsair and Logitech. Also, the keyboard does give some rattle noises. In conclusion, I would give it an overall rating of 4 out of 5 stars.

I lubed with Super Lube 510510 (available on Amazon) by pressing the optical browns down and squirt on each corner. Works like magic! Highly, highly recommended!!!! Also added foam behind the PCB and plate, which makes the typing experience sound/feel so much better!!

This keyboard is very good. My movements happens with basically a touch of the button. It is very loud though so if you are coming from a high accuation keyboard I wouldn’t recommend coming straight to this one. It has a lot of lighting features inside of the keyboard. From my experience the software was super bad, it wasn’t picking up my keyboard and it wouldn’t download so I had to download every single version. Even though the keyboard is very good it is expensive for really nothing other than some cool lighting features and touch sensitive keybinds I think it should be about 64.99.

Golden Review Award: 5 From Our UsersReceived this pretty soon with prime and first impressions were positive; I like the switches a lot, despite them being a lot more sensitive than I’m used to and the caps feel ok. Golden Review Award: 9 From Our UsersThis is a fantastic keyboard for the price. I didn’t expect to like it as much as I did, but as I have an AMD system and therefore the Razer Huntsman Mini breaks my computer, I had to look at other options for a 60% keyboard. This one came highly recommended and I can see why – it feels so good to type on and the RGB lighting is quite customisable even without the software installed. I would definitely recommend the silver switches as they are butter smooth with just the right amount of actuation force. The best part is that even if you don’t like the switches that come preinstalled, they are fully modular so you can pull them out and install ones that you prefer. The one thing I will criticise is the cable it comes with is rather short at 1.6 meters, so I had to use one of my own. That being said, it connects via USB type C so having the option to use your own cable is a boon all of its own. If you’re in the market for a 60% you could certainly do worse than one of these guys.

Don’t fall for the “fastest keyboard in the world” scheme. You will not notice the difference between optical switches and mechanical switches. Although, it is hot swappable which makes it convenient for a beginner getting into the hobby of keyboards. I would personally go for the MZ60 instead as it is compatible with any mechanical switch, whereas this keyboard only supports gateron opticals.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersI was a bit hesitant to order this keyboard, First, this being my first 60% keyboard and second, this being my first ever mechanical keyboard xD , and also I’m a software dev, so the keyboard is a thing that you can’t mess with it. If you aren’t comfortable with it then you can’t write code on it; it’s as simple as that. I’ve used other mechanical keyboards, The Logitech and also the HyperX alloy, I know Arrow keys Section plays a big role when you are coding and also even when you are just surfing on the internet and I’m telling you this with my own experience, you will not feel any difference! You just have to give it some time to get your brain used to it. (It took approx 2 days for me) and also it comes with software and some layers so if you’re a computer geek just like me, then you can tweak some stuff there, play with macros, LEDs, and all, but it’s on you. If Hyperx is out of your budget and you are looking for a normal usage mechanical keyboard then this keyboard surely will be the best option for you at this moment.

PROS: everything is programmable., doesn’t have a clicky sound, optical switches, comfy and compact design.
CONS: keycaps can be an issue here, but you can change them if you have some spare money in your hand. that’s the only reason I’m giving it a 5 star Rating, company should provide PBT keycaps at least for WASD keys and also command and other keys for MAC, just like other companies do.

    COMFORTY??? YES IT IS, VERY!!!!!!!!

This keyboard is perfect. I’ve had 3 keyboards starting with the Razer huntsman mini, Anne pro 2, and now I am currently using this. The build quality, and gaming performance is perfect! I’ve had this for 2 months and I have yet to find a problem with it. the only thing that isn’t great a about this keyboard is the software, it isn’t great but isn’t horrible. (It also comes with a key cap puller And a switch puller)

Great keyboard overall I replace my Logitech pro x keyboard with the gk61. My only complaint is the ‘U’ is a bit stiff to press. So check quality right after opening it. But overall I recommend this to anyone who wants this for gaming.

Excelente. Super Recomendado.

I personally love this keyboard. For the price your paying it’s really good. I got it with the optical yellow keys. It’s awesome for gaming not so much for typing, the keys are super sensitive if that makes any sense lol. I’ll hardly press (W) and my character in a game will start to move. The LED lights is something I enjoy as well. I wasn’t aware at the time of purchase that you can change the pattern of the lights. 5 stars all the way!

This is a really good option for gaming and just anything in general it has the fastest switch in the world optical yellow switches amazing over all build quality and better than the razer huntsman mini because it has like a 50 diffrence from the huntsman and they have the same optical switches just from different brands but the gateron ones are better and faster than whatever brand switch the razer huntsman mini uses

I used to have the Ducky One 2 Mini and now this is my main keyboard but the only thing that is annoying is when you double click the FN key it locks and it gets annoying when you accidentally click it and you dont know what happened and you cant move in a game or turn off your volume. Everything else is purfect, also the body is plastic and has no riser feet but i didnt care but some people do care.

Golden Review Award: 14 From Our UsersGreat first day impressions. There’s no flex or squeaking to the frame, and you get a decent length braided cable. The optional software is tricky, but I managed to get a fully custom layout eventually. Go to the ‘Driver1’ tab and there’s a green cursor button somewhere on the colour palette. You can then click individual keys to apply that colour.

As nice as it is weird

I really enjoy this 60% keyboard, frees up a lot of valuable desk space and the Gateron Brown switches are really, really nice!
The added lettering on some of the keys let you know which key you are hitting when using FN which is nice.
Sadly its an all plastic build basically and it has a white backplate which would be nice if it was black to give it that all black look.
I think if you are looking for a beginner 60% to start modding this is a good one to go with, and if you’re looking for a compact keyboard with nice switches for gaming, this is also a good one to go with!

    Good starter 60% Keyboard!

This is a sturdy built keyboard for the money it costs. At half the price of other mechanical keyboards, you get a compact keyboard with the essentials. If you don’t want many frills but are looking for a mechanical feel and a 60% format, this is a great buy.

I went through the process of lubing each switch/stabilizer and doing some mods. Out of the box, the keyboard sounds just as any other off-the-shelf mechanical keyboard would sound. After lubing and mods, it sounds like a true high-end mechanical keyboard. Taking the keyboard apart showed the admirable production quality. Nothing is high end, but nothing inside is super cheap either. This will be a durable keyboard that doesn’t seem like it should run into any problems unless there is an issue with the PCB, which is unlikely.

The RGB effects are nice and the customization for macros and lighting is nice. It provides the essentials. The only downside to the lighting is that any colour that isn’t red, green, or blue will be an awkward gradient through the keycaps. For example, orange will be a weird red/green mix with only orange right in the center of the key. White is a gradient from blue, to pink, to purple. I find that it looks cool, but it’s definitely not good at replicating solid colours.

Overall, beautiful keyboard that fits all of my needs. Unless you’re a keyboard enthusiast looking to spend $200 on a 60% keyboard, this is your best bet.

Golden Review Award: 4 From Our UsersWhen this keyboard, the white GK61 with Gateron Reds, came in the mail I was beyond excited to open it after seeing multiple reviews on YouTube and Reddit giving the product positive feedback. I am not new to the world of mechanical keyboards so I was more than aware of what to expect. After opening the box I was happy to find that UPS had not failed me and my keyboard was intact, but I quickly noticed the windows key was no where to be found. After ignoring the missing cap, assuming I would find it loose under the interior cardboard piece along with the USB-Type C connector, I was very sad to see that the key was not present. As I am typing this review on the keyboard I have nothing but positive thoughts, it is aesthetically pleasing, while not PBT the key caps are high quality, and due to the heft the board it feels like it has great build quality. While the pros should outweigh the cons of this board in particular, for me they do not. I know as soon as I lift my left hand away from the board, I will see a helpless little shiny black windows key, out of place, and out-numbered, by a sea of white key caps with a clearly dominant aesthetic. After I purchase a new set of PBT key caps this board will become a source of pride for my current set up. For now though, this small problem is corrupting my already OCD mindset. Every time I look down I want to slam the keyboard into the ground and throw scalding hot water on it, taking a professional grade torch and burning the single recycled black windows key cap until it is a small piece of identifiable plastic autism contrasting my bright hardwood floors.

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersThought I put a quick review. I’m coming from an old Corsair K70 mechanical keyboard with Cherry MX brown switches. Thought I would get a much more compact keyboard for the desk and for gaming. Overall impressions is good. The keyboard case is single piece of plastic which is mostly matte with some gloss highlights around. The plastic case is decently thick so that in tandem with the steel backplate, the entire thing feels really solid and does not creak or flex under reasonable torque. There are no adjustable feet on the keyboard, just 4 large rubber feet. The keyboard is connected via a usb-c cable which is nicely braided so it has a nice look to it. Braided cables has heaps of “memory” to it so it’s fairly stiff, but given its going to be connected to your keyboard, which doesn’t move, I have no complaints.

The keycaps have a matte finish on the top, with gloss-finish on all sides. This is very different to the keys on my K70 which was all-gloss. The matte finish is definitely a winner because it doesn’t show fingerprints readily. The gloss-sides however show off grime, dirt, scratches and dust easily. You have to be carefully when removing the keys on this board with the included the keycap puller because it will scratch up the gloss-sides of the keys! The Shine through legends are decent and allow the backlight to shine through. The font is a bit “gamery” but not as bad as some others and I soon got over it quickly. However, the thing you WONT get over will be the white-printed secondary legends on the keycaps. You’ll notice that this keyboard has its F-keys, arrow keys and other functions (num-lock, scroll lock etc) as secondary functions. These can be quickly accessed by holding “Fn” in the bottom right and pressing the relevant key. The problem is that these legends are not durable. The appearance of the printing is great; It’s nice and crisp. But it fades incredibly easily. I’ve only used the keyboard for a few weeks and the printed legends on the A-Z part of the keyboard has this dull stained look. So far the legends haven’t started peeling, but the white print stains easily. For some it might not be a problem because you’ll hopefully remember the location of all the keys by them. But is definitely something for the manufacturer to improve upon on the next iteration.

The RGB lighting is cool. All the colours under the rainbow, except for white. The white colour looks more like a light blue. Odd, but definitely not a deal-breaker.

The Gateron Optical Brown switches feel pretty marvelous. They are very smooth, with a tactile bump much more pronounced that the K70’s cherry mx brown. The downward travel is also smoother, with noticeably less “grit/sandy” friction feeling. This makes the key travel feel much shorter. I’m not sure if its true, but these optical brown switches feel like they have a much shorter travel distance than the mx browns. I got used to it, and am not sure if I prefer it. For typing, i feel like I want a little bit more travel distance for comfort. It feels abrupt as I’m bottoming them out. Perhaps I need more time. The only other thing is noise. It doesn’t have a loud click, but you will definitely hear them thud everytime you poke them the full distance down. I found it to be louder than my K70.

Lastly, it has no wrist rest. This is the one thing that I missed from the k70. I’m definitely a wrist-rest user. The K70 has an included plastic detachable wrist rest. Although nothing special, it allows me to be a bit “lazy” when playing games on an extended session as I can rest my fingers on the wasd keys and that’s all. Without the wrist rest, I certainly felt the strain of holding my hands up on the wasd keys. What I 100% missed is the “detachable” aspect of the K70’s wrist rest. If you move your keyboard, the wrist-rest moves with it. Unless you glue your wrist rest to your GK71, every adjustment of the keyboard will require a follow up adjustment to the accompany wrist rest which gets very frustrating.

Otherwise that’s it. If you are wondering if you should buy this keyboard for $80AUD, then go ahead. There’s definitely worse that you could buy. The only problem is the cheap secondary legends printing on the keycaps.

Golden Review Award: 6 From Our UsersI just received this keyboard and am coming the perspective of a havit 104 blue switch keyboard.

    Pros:
Small – I wanted to downsize from a 104 key layout to free up my space and it is exactly what i was looking for.
Hot swap switches. – I accidentally ordered the brown switch model and I am actually satisfied with them so I will be keeping this model, but if i do ever get tired of the brown switches I at least am able to easily swap between switches instead of having to buy a new keyboard.
Build quality – The board was surprisingly heavier than I expected and feels more sturdy with almost no flex to the board.
Switches: The brown switches provide a tactile feedback that I find satisfied and the keys produce enough noise to produce an audio feedback that I feel boosts the overall experience of using this product.

    Cons:
Keycaps – When you look at this board you feel like this purchase was worth it except for when you start to look at the keycaps. They look and feel cheap with glossy edges so I would recommend buying aftermarket keycaps to improve this.

    Neutral:
RGB settings – It is better than a havit keyboard but not as good as the keychron K2. Some of the presets are appealing but I feel like more solid color options could be added. As seen in other reviews the software could use some work but as a Mac user I am not able to use it at all. This leaves me with the standard presets only.

Overall for the price I am happy with the initial presentation of the keyboard and would highly recommend i

Works quite well for such an inexpensive keyboard. I like that it’s small enough that I can place it right overtop of my laptop’s original keyboard. It’s mildly annoying that the number and function keys are combined into one, same with the arrow keys, but it doesn’t ruin the experience. The RGB lighting is pretty good, though as others have mentioned the R|G|B LEDs under the keys are visibly separated a bit, which makes the transitions between colors not quite seamless. That’s a fairly minor aesthetic issue, though, it still does the job. Overall, for the size and price I paid, I’m quite happy with it.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersIts a pretty good keyboard imo punches way above its weight class, was forced to change keyboards after my g410 bit the dust, and funny enough the switches feel more pleasant and the entire keyboard feels a ton sturdier than my g410 (remember the g410 is a 130$+ keyboard), no complaints besides the rgb and software, rgb is not the greatest and there is clear separation between each individual bulb so you actually see 3 similar colors lol.

Golden Review Award: 4 From Our UsersInexpensive introduction into RGB mechanical keyboards. It has a good feel overall, with Gateron Optical Switches almost perfectly mimicking that Cherry MX feel. Overall, the lighting does leave something to be desired as the hues tend to bleed into each other giving a visible dissonance when attempting to find a good color pallet that is not solid red, green, or blue. The driver software is mostly in Chinese and not very intuitive, but serviceable. That being said, the pre-programmed lighting schemes are nice, and give a good light show. The adjustable LED brightness is also very good if you like to keep things a little subdued.

The unit feels solid, key caps are easily replaced. One thing to note however is the space bar and enter key has a bit of wobble to it. The USB-C connection is nice as well. Brown switches are a little louder than what you would expect so be careful about working around other people.

Golden Review Award: 18 From Our UsersPros: Full RGB, Hot swappable (Gateron Optical switches only), Durable, Switches feel great, Cool lighting effects, Keycaps are ABS but feel really nice, BRIGHT backlight, Comes with keycap and switch pullers.

Cons: Wobbly (Rubber pads misaligned, may only be for my keyboard), Strange RGB lights bleeding into each other, Don’t think there’s any alternative cases, Mic under the spacebar that you can’t turn off, No adjustable feet.
    —–

Just got this keyboard (Gateron brown switches) and it feels great. Everything works, the backlight is super bright (it is also adjustable) and the switches feel amazing. Some issues that I found with it and that some people talked about is how it wobbles. The rubber feet on the keyboard aren’t placed evenly making it wobble when you type, BUT the keyboard does feel pretty rugged. It could just be a defect for mine only, however this is just a fair warning because some people faced this issue as well. The wobble isn’t too much, it feels as if the bottom right feet is 1cm higher or lower than the other, so you can easily put something like a guitar pick under it and it’ll fix it. The keyboard has 3 offline/on-board profiles (Change by pressing FN + W or E or R) that you can customize via their software. These profiles are stored inside the keyboard so if you pack your keyboard and plug it into a different computer, your custom profiles will stay how they are. There’s also one driver based profile (Activate by pressing FN + Q). If you were to plug your keyboard into another computer, this profile will not be useable. For the RGB aspect of this keyboard, each key can be changed into whatever color you want via the software. The only problem that I found with this is that, when you’re using 2 different colors next to each other, they tend to mix. For example, in the picture I posted, the CTRL button is meant to be only orange, however, since I made Shift green, it bleeds into CTRL making the top green and the bottom orange. Overall, those are the only bad things that I found with this keyboard and it’s not really that major if you ask me. I highly recommend this keyboard to anyone thinking of getting a RGB 60% keyboard that’s also hot swappable (Only with Gateron Optical switches). Also, the software is trash. It’s just… trash.
