I bought this for my granddaughters second birthday! She loves it! Cooks every day! She loves opening and closing the refrigerator, stove, etc! It’s the first and last thing she plays with everyday!!

I wanted to get something for my daughter’s fourth birthday that she wouldn’t outgrow too quickly. I had a little trepidation about building it but the directions are very clear if you take your time reading them. The kitchen is high quality with plenty of storage and features. I would definitely recommend it.

Takes about 4-5 hours to put together but is absolutely amazing for little ones, even my 8 yr old loves it and she’s really tall and she’s able to play with her little brother. It’s really heavy duty. Love this

Lots of pieces make it a two-person job. Not always easy to tell which side of the pieces face outward.

Bought this for a my 2 year old and it’s perfect. It was kind of time consuming to put together but it was well worth it. We’ve had it for a couple months and it’s holding up well with no signs of wear and tear despite being roughed up by a rambunctious toddler.

My children enjoy this. It’s tall enough for my giant 6 year old. And good height for my average height 4 year old. A lot of space to store the miscellaneous items for them to play with. That’s a plus. Easy to assemble without the help of a 4 and 6 year old. Sturdy enough to house all their play food and some other random things they put in it. No cons

This kitchen is adorable. I bought it for my 2 year old with the intention that it can grow with her. It’s very tall and she sometimes has to get on her tiptoes to reach the stuff on the higher shelves. My ONLY gripe with this thing is that the refrigerator door will not stay shut anymore (we’ve had it 1 month) we’ve never slammed it or anything… So with very minor play this function is already not working… Not a deal breaker, just frustrating.

I purchased this kitchen as a Christmas gift, for my 12 and 7 year old. They love it!!!
My 12 year old is tall (5’2″) I needed a set they can play comfortably with. And this is it, it’s not as small as the other play kitchens. It’s a decent size. The stove looks realistic, the fridge makes ice noice. It has many features as a real kitchen. Granite counter, a backspace, a removable faucet. A cell phone, microwave oven (door opens, no noise)
The assembly took us a while I want to say a good hour plus. My husband and my 12 year old plus myself put it together. Instructions are straightforward. Everything you need is included.
I am beyond happy I made the decision to purchase this item. I did alot of research and this was the best choice. Don’t think about it. Just get it!

    Great size!

Finished product looks great and feels really sturdy. I have a few minor issues though. 1) The latch to keep the fridge closed is hard to use. It’s far from the handle, and requires a lot of force, or you have to push down low to latch it. 2) There was a large chip in a visible area. 3) The fasteners are poorly planned. For some of the fasteners they’ve given you a group that have a painted head, and some unpainted ones, but they’re all labeled with the same letter. I believe the intent is that the unpainted ones would go in areas that aren’t visible, but it didn’t say that anywhere. They should have either given us all painted fasteners or just label as different letters.

Santa delivered this kitchen. My grandson was thrilled. Picked this one because of its height as my grandson is tall for his age. Luckily it arrived in plenty of time to assemble. Previous reviews said it took 4 hours. It took me 6 hours. The weight was a concern for moving it into its permanent location. As we didn’t want to lift up on the pressboard in fear of the weight damaging it. Our solution was to ease it into the box top which allowed us to slide it through out the house without lifting the sides. Some of the predrilled holes for the screws were difficult as the screws did not hold. Ie: the plastic door handle for the stove. My solution was to add super glue onto the screws to hold in place and allow tugging on the handle. Overall a very nice kitchen for a 6 year old.

My daughter is 6. She had a play kitchen for several years that was short. She had grown so tall that she was bending over to “cook”. I wanted to get her a taller kitchen for Christmas to keep her playing awhile longer. This kitchen did not disappoint. At all! My husband and 13 year old son put it together in a little less than an hour. The hardware and tool were packed in a sort of labeled blister pack in the box. I had never seen anything like it. It was awesome. This kitchen has plenty of storage for food, dishes, etc.
If I had one gripe it is that the only lights and sounds come from the ice dispenser on the refrigerator. It’s not a big deal to my daughter though. Her old kitchen had no lights or sounds at all.

This kitchen is perfect for older kids. My daughter is 6 and pretty tall for her age and this is still slightly taller than her, which is what i wanted. The instructions are absolutely horrible lol, as expected via the other reviews. It took about 4 hours with one person. We added push lights to the inside as well as under the microwave. Since the ice machine is the only thing that actually makes music we also added a play set that makes sounds. All in all thought we love the kitchen. Its very modern!

My daughter was super thrilled when she finally opened this little kitchen. (Not too little) it’s roughly 4ft tall which is the perfect size for her and my son. It doesn’t come with any accessories, so you’ll need to buy them separately. It took me a few hours to build, so patience is key when building. And I recommend you have some help because I wish I had help when I built it. But it was worth it.

Bought this for my 5 year old. It’s a great size for older kids because it’s a tall kitchen (taller than her). Most play kitchens are geared towards 2-3 year olds. This was important because we want her to get the most use out of it since starting a little late in the game (due to not having extra space for one when we lived in a condo). My husband built it and it took him longer than expected but it looks great finished. Wish it made more sounds other than ice maker though but she still loves it.

We got this for our 4 year old and 1 year old as a Christmas present. It’s tall enough that my 4 year old can still play with it. It’s very sturdy and looks really nice. It has a lot of cabinet space and there are a lot of cool details (e.g. the stove knobs and the sink faucet). It works for both of our boys’ ages which is always a perk when buying a toy.

One of the reasons we decided to get a play kitchen was because we were given a box of Hape wooden play food (i.e., pots, pans, plates, a mixer, food, utensils, refrigerator food, etc). This was really what made the kitchen such an awesome gift.

In terms of assembly, it took 2.5 adults about 2 hours to put together. It wasn’t hard per se but it was a nice challenge of our logical problem-solving skills. Some advice:

    – In the instructions, any piece that looks like hardware but has a number (instead of a letter) is a plastic piece. (The plastic pieces aren’t numbered)

    – The plastic pieces are bigger in real life than they look in the instructions. So if you’re confused about what piece the instructions are referring to, it may be bigger than you think.

    – There are a few screws with the same letter (e.g. Q). It’s good to know this ahead of time. They may be the same screw but some of them are painted white (to be used in places where they’ll show) and others aren’t. So you don’t want to get them mixed up.

All in all, a well-built and enjoyable toy that works across ages.

The product is big, just as I wanted. Upon opening the box I thought to myself there was going to be a lot of cussing putting this together, but I was wrong. Just follow the very simple directions (mostly pictures) and it was together in about two or maybe 2 and half hours; I was very pleased. The pre-drilled holes all lined up. The product is just as pictured online. It is the right size for a 6-7 year old; they were very happy. The materials seem solid enough.

This kitchen set is a gift and the packaging alone was the best my husband has ever seen. The directions were very clear. The finished product looks so stylish, I can’t wait to have her parents see it as well as my granddaughter. It matches their kitchen! We appreciate that there is a safety strap to put on the wall behind it for the 1 year old that lives in the same house. Very classy and satisfied with our purchase.

I did A LOT of research before choosing which kitchen to purchase & I saw A LOT of people writing reviews for this and another kid Kraft kitchens-saying the set up is crazy hard and they don’t give you proper screws and so forth.
I was initially worried, but the set up was EASY & straightforward.

If you have common sense, this will be a no brainer. If you don’twe’ll, that’s just not a Kid Kraft problem.

The directions are straight forward. All of the screws are labeled and easy to identify.

One of my boards didn’t come numbered, but I laid out all of my parts and did the process of elimination to figure out which number it was.

The holes were all perfectly drilled and perfectly aligned.

I am not a master builder. I’m a 29 year old single mom, so I do build all of the toys and furniture myself, but I’ve purchased stuff that really is crap and had terrible instructions -this product is not that.

Very straight forward, sturdy, easy to do.
    Took me 3 hours.

About 30 minutes to take everything out of the box and lay it all down in order.
Make sure you have every part before you begin. Take your time.

You need a Philips head screw driver, that’s it. They provide wrench and Allen key for you.
Use the wrench and your Philips to help you with the hinges.

Came out great & I highly recommend this.

Time consuming, but EASY set up

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersI was looking for something bigger for my 6 year old and this is perfect! The assembly took about an hour with one person. Not difficult but just a lot of parts. It does seem pretty sturdy but I wouldn’t get too crazy with it. I love all the cabinets and compartments. With all this being said I do think this is a great buy but definitely not worth the price that it’s listed for.

It took me HOURS to assemble. Much of the instructions are left up to interpretation so there was a ton of trial and error. But, was it worth the 6 hours and multiple paper cuts?

Yes. It’s amazing. Matches any white/grey kitchen so it’s not an eyesore if you add it to a kitchen wall to keep your kiddos entertained while you’re cooking. So much hidden storage and so many adorable features (ice machine, phone, clicking knobs, front loading washer, sink’s detachable head, sliding oven “rack,” realistically placed microwave).

Buy it. But budget and entire night for assembly.

I spent a lot of time looking for a play kitchen that was both aesthetically appealing, and large enough that my kids could grow with it. This one fit both of those perfectly. It did take a significant amount of time to assemble, and more than a few curse words were uttered in the process, but the end result is absolutely worth it. It seems very sturdy and it is really beautiful compared to the other plastic kitchens available. My kids have had so much fun with this over the last few months, and I anticipate it holding up to their wear and tear really well!

This was a gift for our kid turning 3yo. She’s tall and in 5t clothing and we wanted a kitchen that she could play with for the next few years and we chose this kitchen.

We also did a small upgrade by getting motion sensor puck lights to put in the fridge, oven, microwave and washer. I highly recommend this because it will make it easier for your child to see and play in these areas.

If you’re considering a play kitchen but want something a little nicer than Little Tikes, this is the kitchen for you! I am the household assembler and let me tell you, this was one of the more difficult things I’ve put together but my god is it sturdy! It’s probably the most hardy thing I’ve ever assembled! My kid loves the ice machine and is always putting stuff in the dishwasher and microwave. I’m glad I read some of the other reviews and went beyond just the cheap plastic kitchens!

Veteran at assembling toys and Ikea furniture. This set is a 4 hour job minimum. Far more pieces and parts than one would think, and an extremely important to follow workflow. Pierces and parts are all well labeled, but identifying the correct orientation of the panels can be tricky (use the line drawings to identify hole and groove locations to get the right orientation). Comes in a very small and very heavy box. All the panels are melamine and are packed in a way to eliminate any gaps or filler. Seriously heavy box..
When complete, it’s good sized, and lots of little details. Grandkids loved it, all their little friends love it. Durability is yet to be determined, but no issues at the 4 month mark, and it is a central fixture in a playroom for 3 toddlers.
I was very skeptical at the idea, but in the end, I’d buy it again.

We got it for our 2 year old girl, but our 4 year old boy loves playing with it just as much! The fridge doubles nicely as storage for all our play food and dishes. I would definitely recommend this and would buy it again or as a present! Great product!

I bought this play kitchen for my child for Christmas. This kitchen took me 2 hours to put together but the photos in the directions were great. All wood pieces are labeled. The only tool needed is a Phillips screw driver. Kitchen is very sturdy, and even a little taller than most play kitchens I’ve seen which is great because I purchased it for my tall 5 year old. If I had to say one disappointing feature it would be that the only part that has sounds/lights is the ice machine lever. The toy phone has no sounds so I purchased one to add to it. Overall, very pleased with this kitchen!

I was nervous because I read about how difficult it would be to put together – but my husband and I easily built together. It did take 3.5 hours. I love the look of this kitchen and we get many compliments on it. I do wish the microwave was more interactive. Cons: There are no noises or lights, all doors open like a cabinet, it takes up space, and the “washer” takes some strength to get open & closed. We bought on Black Friday, so we got a good deal on it, so worth it for us!

Absolutely beautiful and durable my daughter loved it but somewhat difficult to assemble it took about two hours

It’s overpriced, obviously… but it’s super cute. My 2 year old daughter is obsessed with it. I bought this because it was tall enough for my daughter to grow into as the upcoming years go by. For that purpose, it’s perfect.

My only con is you’d think that for the price you’d get some accessories with it, but you get zero.

Great product, very happy with the kitchen. There are a lot of pieces to put together but the instructions and the labeling of each piece make it fairly easy.

I was on the market for a play kitchen for my almost 5 year old who’s about 39″ tall. We decided on getting this one and I love it! He hasn’t seen it yet but will later on today. It’s the biggest one we’ve come across and it’s really sturdy. The only thing was the assembly was a lot and took two of us about 2 hours to put together.

It is the perfect height for elementary age and the angle of the kitchen center allows more than 1 to play. Very realistic and sturdy/heavy. Takes approx 4 hrs to assemble with 1 person.

I was not expecting this kitchen to be so big, but it is perfect height for my 3 year old. It took us about 2.5hours to put it all together. Wasn’t bad at all, I loved that the screws and bolts were packaged individually and we were not scrambling trying to find what goes where. Everything came together nicely. I do have one complaint, the piece on to which is supposed to be the stove had a scratch on it. Other than that every other piece we can across was it really good condition.

I have 3 boys ages 4, 5 and 7 and 1 girl age 3. My kids still love to play kitchen so we spent hours finding one that was tall enough for an older child. This one took a little bit of extra time to ship but it was worth the small wait. I assembled the kitchen on my own (30 year woman) and it probably took me 1.5 hours. The directions for the most part were clear and informative. The kitchen is sturdy and adorable. There is plenty of storage for toys and the doors open and shut easily. My kiddos love it.

6 yr old LOVES this kitchen. It took me 2 hrs to assemble but the directions were very easy to follow and all the hardware was included. They also include extra pieces in case something was forgotten. But overall a very nice purchase. Once together, it is pretty sturdy. The ice maker is the only thing that actually makes sound and lights up. The oven knobs make a clicking sound when turning. I wish the microwave & washing machine did something, but we just bought a washing machine separate that makes noise and spins, so we use the one in the kitchen set as the dryer. Lol. But for the price (which I got on sale for $139) it’s by far the best kitchen we’ve bought. In my opinion it’s better than the all plastic ones out there. It has also helped with the storage aspect of all the toy food we had in bins as it all hides away in the kitchen now.

Bought this for the kids for Christmas. Prior to purchasing this, I did a bunch of comparisons between play kitchens of varying price points. I decided to go with this because of the height of the assembled product. This was the tallest kitchen I found, which means it will grow with them for years. After looking at all the pictures posted in social media for Christmas, I know I made the right choice

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersMy 6 year old is 4ft tall, I’ve looked at tens of these kitchens but none seemed tall enough for taller kids, until I found this kitchen. I am absolutely in love with it. Its tall, sturdy, has a lot of features, and the colors are neutral. The setup wasn’t bad, took my 14 year old about 2 hours to put it together. I’m happy with this purchase, and recommend it.

Assembly went smoothly.. no missing parts and everything went together accordingly made it our own by adding our own backsplash with contact paper that we applied prior to assembly.

I don’t normally leave reviews but as a mom of 4 who has built lots of kids kitchens throughout the years, I am so pleased with this kitchen we purchased for our youngest! It is durable and took my hubby and I a little over an hour to assemble. She is 6 and pretty tall for her age and the size is great- so much bigger than other kitchens but not bulky either. I cannot wait to surprise her! We accidentally broke the faucet when trying to screw it in and I immediately called Kidcraft- they are sending one out free of charge.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersI decided on this kitchen because of the larger size. My 4 year old has outgrown her first Kidcraft kitchen. This one being the tallest one I could find and the washer/dryer feature was a major selling point. I wish it came with more sound/light features other than the ice maker. Assembly took my husband and I about 2.5 hours. I added some wall paper and puck lights. Overall it’s a very cute and I know she’ll love it!

Update- Almost a year later and this kitchen is used almost daily. Considering how many times every door on this set has been slammed, it’s still works and looks brand new. Nothing broken, all doors still open and shut like they did when we put it together. It has held up great and I expect it to outlast my daughter! Very satisfied!!

    Very cute

Ok i am almost finished putting this thing together. Ive had a couple of problems understanding the directions but i am figuring it out slowly. And second problem i ran into is one of the walls is damaged where you slide in the back wall and im going to have to figure out my way around that or it will offset the top. Positives, its cute my daughter will love it. And besides helping me understand the directions you only really need one person to put this together. In the end the kids will love it so its pretty nice.

Intimidating when you first open the box with the large number of panels and parts but once you get familiar no big deal. I separated the nuts / bolts / screws from the card included and labeled them in individual marked containers. Sandwich zip close bags marked with a Sharpie would work great. I assembled the kitchen by myself on the work bench and table shown. My grand child will love it.

Very solid and sturdy. It is very heavy! The directions are not very detailed. It took my husband and I about 3 hours to put it together. All pieces and parts were clearly labeled. We had no trouble until steps 33-35 where we struggled to get everything lined up correctly. I used a power screwdriver which helped it go more quickly. Overall, I’m very happy with it. I bought it after reading reviews so I was prepared for a difficult assembly but it went fairly smoothly.

Golden Review Award: 4 From Our UsersWe pushed this for our 1.5 year old he loves it. I recommend getting some of those cheep stick up lights to add under counter to provide more light. It does take about 3 hours to assemble and you will need a helper for some of it. Also just purchased stainless steel contact paper to make it look like our kitchen. We couldn’t be happy w finished product my only complaint is that the only electric feature is the ice maker on the door, the knobs twist and click which is nice too but no other items do anything and are display only. Very sturdy and can’t be pulled over like some of the cheaper kitchens on the market.

Golden Review Award: 50 From Our UsersWe chose this play kitchen because our kids are much taller than the average. When we gave it a makeover, we SANDED FIRST then we used a Valspar primer on the laminate before painting it… so far so good. Our 1 year old pushed too hard on the washer and broke the hinges off so my husband put new ones on. Overall, we are happy with our purchase.

I love this kitchen. I was looking for one that was taller, so it could grow with my daughter, and it’s perfect. It was very easy to assemble, they were very detailed with the instructions and hardware labeling. I assembled it alone (female), and it took me just a little over two hours. If you have multiple people, it would go very quickly as there are a lot of things you could do at the same time, before you assemble it all together. One thing to note is sometimes there are screws that have the same letter, but some are finished with a white head, and others are just silver. They do not tell you when to use which, so just keep in mind to use the finished ones on the outside, and the silver ones on the inside. That was really the only thing that took extra time, because I didn’t notice that at first. I also add a little puck lights, to give it an extra touch. So many other things you can do with this kitchen to make it realistic and special for your little one.
