My son got this for his new Fire tablet for Christmas it’s fairly easy to use, but the kids area of the tablet doesn’t allow you to install some parts of the Osmo app and i haven’t found a work around without avoiding the kids version.
It also wants you to use a reflector adapter for the fire which is fine but not clear that it’s needed and doesn’t really make sense since it says it’s for fire tablets right on the box.
All in all it’s good. My son seems to like it just some of those little annoyances
This kit is pretty cool!
Although it needs an almost rubberband like attachment for the reflector before it is usable, so make sure you buy that for $10, or you can’t use the kit (at least for the Kindle Fire)
My child really likes it so far, but the tablet has to be out of its case, so that’s fun. And I wish the kits all came with a work surface area so my kid knows where to place to pieces without the app telling her to scoot everything side to side or up and down. (She gets frustrated with that)
Got this for my 8year old son he loves to be on here and is excited to have all the different learning games .anything to make his education better. I am all for ..This highly recommended.
Be sure to get the reflector adapter. The kit does not come with it and you need it for the software to read the tiles correctly. Would have been helpful to know.
This is so much fun with so many activities. My daughter loves this game so much.
I got this as a warehouse deal, but I would’ve gladly paid full price. My son loves this system. He just turned 5 and started kindergarten, and still wants to play with Osmo after dinner. He loves the math and letter games and the tangrams especially. The Newton and Masterpiece portions are still a little difficult for him but with some parental help he manages them OK and it gives him some room to grow his skills.
The app was very easy to set up and install, and I appreciate it can be used offline. We set it up on an old Fire tablet we had, and we use a flat white board sheet for the drawing portion. That also gives him a space for tangrams. I’m not sure if a new one would come with the actual whiteboard, or if mine was missing since it was a warehouse deal. But even a sheet of paper would work, laminated or in a clear sleeve if you have it to use a dry erase marker, or just a pen for Newton and Masterpiece if you don’t mind getting a new paper each time.
I bought this for my grandson for Christmas! He loves it and uses it slot! Great educational gift! There is an Apple and Fire Tablet version available! Would buy again!
Great product for young learners. My child asked for this! This is used it regularly. Great learning games for kids and helps them explore educational tasks. Works great with the fire tablet. Make sure you have enough space for all of the apps. This is worth the price.

Ordered this for my 5 year old granddaughter and she has enjoyed it immensely. After about 2 weeks the stand failed to collapse for storage but a quick phone call to customer service and a new stand arrived shortly and she’s been playing with it and storing it frequently. 🙂

We originally intended this as a Christmas gift but we knew in advance that it wouldn’t arrive in time. It is now set for a birthday gift which hasn’t happened yet and not for a couple more weeks. Will let you know then.
Great tool for young kids through elementary to learn hands on. I wish I would have bought this sooner.
Pick the appropriate starter kit for your child and you won’t be disappointed. In the days of virtual schooling, this is a great educational enhancement. But it’s fun too. So much that they may not notice they’re learning so much.

I bought for my 4 yr old grandson and he LOVES it! It’s very easy to use and an excellent educational tool that he finds fun.
This is a great starter kit for Osmo. My kids love all the options for games, although we also have the pizza game and the coding set and they spend more time with those sets. Definitely a great learning tool for kids and I feel more comfortable giving them screen time.
My son asked me to get this for my 3 grandchildren ages 4 – 8. No complaints so I guess they love it.
This was number 1 on my child’s Christmas list so when it was on deal – I grabbed it right away! All 3 of my kids have been playing with it almost non-stop. The games are fun – we also bought an add-on art centered kit for it.
I really do enjoy this we gave it to our six-year-old as a Christmas gift. Unfortunately I think the price point puts it out of reach for people that might benefit may from it. Really think this should be $20 max.

My son LOVES these games. We bought it to help with homeschooling to switch things up at times. He has so much fun with it and keeps asking to play more. Great educational games included. Worth the money!

I read the reviews and I ALMOST didn’t purchase this due to the bad reviews…I am SO GLAD I went ahead with my purchase! I have a 6 and 4 year old who love ALL the games but OSMO is fun for the whole family as well! We bought the system that works with the amazon fire tablets. 10/10 RECOMMEND!
Very easy to set up with an awesome parent tracker app. My 6yo loves the word and math games and asks to work (play) on Osmo everyday. Additional content can be added from the inside the app connecting directly to Osmo website which makes things even better!
My son who is 6 LOVES math. The app is easy for him to use and has multiple games. It does show all the additional games you can purchase which I would rather not have it show unless you purchase the add on.
and I feel much better about them using the Kindle for an educational purpose rather than just YouTube videos!
I like that the pieces come in little plastic containers it’s very organized. I love it. The package was a little damaged but so far so good.
This learning option is great!! My daughter loves It. Occasionally the mirror has a hard time seeing the play pieces and it has even read the wrong answer as the right one.

I wasn’t sure about buying Osmo due to the cost but it is worth every cent! We were looking at this for Christmas this year and decided to get it early since the kids have been quarantined for the rest of the school year. They love it! We bought several of the add on games. The only complaint I have is possibly a user issue but it seems that even though the kids get separate accounts to track their progress and allow them to continue where they left off, it seems that the reward points used to buy stickers on the game are combined. If one spends them the other one has no way to get them back. Overall, great purchase and separate Kindles would probably solve the points issue.

It’s a wonderful invention with different styles of play. My daughter loved seeing her work come to life! You can also track your child’s progress in the parent section. I definitely recommend. Bought this for the granddaughter for Christmas. She loves it!! At first we had some problems with it running on the kindle. We had to switch from the child’s account to the adults account and it ran fine.
This is very good for young ones to learn from. My grandson is 5 and loves this. Good graphics to keep them engaged.

My son loves these apps on his fire tablet. It works flawlessly with the game pieces and each game come in a nice plastic case to keep things organized. My son is 6 and I feel the apps are very well geared toward his abilities. It would also work well for younger and older kids.

This is an absolutely fabulous set up.. super easy to get everything going. My 6 year old loves to play all the games.
My 5 year old has her own fire hd 8 but Osmo does not work with any protective case so ever time she wants to play the kid proof case must be removed, which is a bit painful.
