The bundle contains everything required for installation. The APP is easy to use with low lag. Resolution is pretty decent and everything functions normally till now (for around a month and half). Would like to recommend it.

We were amazed by its resolution. It captures super clear video and there is no lag in streaming. Besides the wide angle, you can rotate it by remote control on your phone. The functionalities in the app are sufficient (even too much lol) for our daily use.

    A few minor things:
    1. For the same scene, the AI will sometimes detect one vehicle while ignoring another. And after a while, it picks up another one but ignore the previous one. I guess it is because the cars are occluded and far away. We don’t need that level of accuracy anyway.
    2. The power cable has two parts and you would need to plug them together. Not sure whether this will lead to issue of waterproof. I’m planning to keep this joint away from wet area.

Pretty satisfied overall with the camera! Now considering whether I should buy the monthly subscription for cloud storage or buy an SD card.

Amazed by the resolution and functionality

Planning install it outside my shed, tested all the features before mount it. It is surprisingly clear even in the night vision. It is alert enough for me, and the long cable clear my worries on how to charge it, the 2 roll of wire will make it easy to connect to my garage. Worth the price!

I’ve tried and tested a few different security cameras and currently have an Annke 4K POE IP cam system (with four cams + NVR) covering the outside of my house along with a Ring doorbell camera.

I’ve been looking for high-quality WiFi-based “mains powered” camera to use inside my front porch to watch for packages (this has package detection). I had been using a small hidden cam, but it’s not good enough.

I’ve had this Winees camera up and running for the past month, and it works very well. Image quality is excellent, and package detection has generally been working fine with a few hiccups (it’s in beta). This camera also detects people, animals, and cars. Night vision is fine, and the built-in light provides colour night vision which is a nice feature.

The two-way audio works well, with the microphone and speaker providing reasonable audio quality (fine for communication). I’ve experienced no issues with any audio delay.

In terms of storage, this features free onboard (MicroSD) storage and premium cloud storage. I don’t want to subscribe to another premium cloud storage plan as I’m already stuck with Ring Protect, so I have to take the chance of this getting stolen. I’m not sure I’d do this had I not got other cameras installed.

Overall, I’m impressed with this camera. It’s easy to use and works well.

    Recommended!

This needs to be plugged in with its own 3 pin (UK version) plug. I was going to use it to replace my porch light but didn’t fancy drilling a large hole into my house. Instead fitted it to my external garage wall. Camera quality is great both day and night. You can see stars in the sky at night! The app gives free alerts and playback. I can’t get the app to show full screen video anymore after changing my phone. The auto detection is ok but I have to turn it off when we hang out washing on the line to dry as it thinks the clothes are people. It doesn’t appear to pick up animals ( even though pet detection is enabled) . My ring camera on my front picks up cats, foxes, squirrels. This… nothing.

I can’t complain about the picture quality, it’s on par with many others I’ve tried. It’s easy to set up with the app. Mains powered with UK plug so no batteries to worry about. It isn’t the cheapest option but it is one of the better quality cams and no issues with it yet.

This Winees 2K 4MP Spotlight Surveillance Camera works well once set up, though setup does involve trying to find out how to hide the wire and then finding a way for it to go into the house to plug the cable in, but that’s the issue when toy have any wired camera and it does mean that you won’t have to fiddle around changing batteries all the time,

The spotlight function works well and is quite bright, highlighting anything that comes across its path. It means night time video is clearer and there’s an added security element to this,

The picture quality is good and you can see its 2K, with far less grain than cheaper cameras. It can connect to Alexa through the app and it worked for me saying ‘Alexa show me wall cam ” (obviously you can choose whatever name you want here).

It will save video to the cloud but you do need to pay after the trial. You can also save to SD card and I actually prefer this method.

Overall, this is a decent quality camera at a good price with decent Alexa integration.

This camera is suitable for exteriors and is waterproof, is well-made and solid and the quality looks nice to me, looks resistant and durable.

The installation process is easy but takes time and we decided to drill into the wall to avoid missing it.
The cable is really long and is great to plug inside the house if you need it in another case we have a plug outside on the garden that is where we want to place it.

The vision that the camera provides is really good and the angle is great, the night vision is very clear and is easy to see even in the nighttime.

I didn’t connect with Alexa, I used the App AiDot which is working well, you have to add the camera and follow instructions the App is working well, and you have to register with an email address.
I like the idea of the microphone and speaker and the sound is fine.

This is a good camera and I can see around my house even when I am out or on holiday.
The camera detects the movement and you get an alert on your phone is really cool actually and is working well.
You can use the camera with your cloud service, but I place a micro SD card ( that was not included, but they are really cheap).
The camera is working well and I like it, sometimes lost the connection and need time to get a clear image again, but I guess is the connection and the wifi, not the camera. It is a great camera and very useful, I recommend it.

I was curious to try out this CCTV camera as I have mainly been using wireless for the past few years.

It took me a while to get used to as i am used to wireless CCTV cameras and am not keen on drilling anything into the walls.

The cabling for this is long and it can be installed outdoors though I kept mine indoors and plugged into the kitchen.. I did not install the camera onto the wall as mentioned, I prefer not to drill things on the wall and will use double sided tape at some point.

The night vision is very good. The app was easy enough to install and the free cloud storage is for a few months.

I wasn’t keen on the green light constantly being on and the camera following me each time I was in the kitchen. It was a nice feature Ie the moving of the camera which I could control via the app, which means I could track my dogs by following them with the camera which I could not do with my wireless cameras. But I found it distracting being followed and watched by a camera with a green light. I have not yet found out if I can switch off the green light. Even if I could switch it off, the camera following me was off-putting.

I noticed some of the footage cut off within 15 seconds even though I was still in the kitchen moving, so was not sure if that was the cut off point Ie 15 seconds

The quality of the footage was very good even for night vision and playback was good.

I did not get any notifications of motion on my phone, and only would see them if I specifically went to the app itself

Once the 6 months is up, the monthly subscription is $1.99 8 believe per camera on cloud, or you can use an SD card. I am used to cloud storage. It is a good price.

The price seems reasonable for what it can do. It has a 2 way speech system as well.

I have not tested it outdoors so don’t know how effective that is but for me it is too troublesome to do that as it would entail drilling and power sockets and I prefer wireless.

It is more suited for those who are ok with cables and drilling.

    Review Update 13 March 2022:

There has been an update to the app or the firmware I am not sure, but my previous problem of constant false detections is now gone. Now the motion sensing seems to work correctly. It accurately detects humans and vehicles like it should do. Only taken a week or so from my review published to getting problem solved, it appears the company do listen and care!

Review updated from 2 stars to 4 stars.

    Original Review 28 February 2022:

This camera is powered by 3-pin adaptor (not USB), with a long cable. The data is transferred through WiFi so there is no data cable making this ‘wireless’ but not ‘truly wireless’. It can be panned left or right with the app but up and down motion is fixed, can only be adjusted manually.

The camera comes with a very bright light that is good enough to light up a path and gives you colour night vision.

The AiDot app for this camera is very sophisticated. It offers pretty much all the functions and latest technology of an IPCAM can ask for, including zone detection, sound detection, scene and routine setting and face tracking.

    PROs:

+ Plenty of configurations you can play with. The most I have seen in one camera

+ Bright automatic light that switch on when motion is detected

+ High resolution footage, way better than 1080p

    CONs:

    – MAJOR problem: The camera sets off with the slightest vibration (wind), even where the camera is not particularly windy (in between two houses and backed by a wall). It keeps giving notifications for detecting nothing every few minutes. Tried setting to lowest sensitivity with the sound detection off without any joy. That makes this camera pointless for me if I had to turn the notification off when the purpose of this camera is to notify me of anyone trespassing.

    – You are required to subscribe to USD $1.99 per month (first 6 months free) in order to use the AI functions and cloud storage. AI functions are: human detection, vehicle detection, pet detection and package detection. Without the subscription you will be left with PIR detection only.

    – No memory card or internal memory included.

    – Sharing the device with you family member through link generated from the app did not work. The workaround is to sign in both phones using the same login details.

Not happy with this camera, perhaps there will be a firmware update at some point that can resolve this sensitivity issues, but I am not hopeful.

Unusable as it keeps triggering and notifying for no reasons

This camera was relatively easy to install. My partner put it up on the wall and it did take a while to get it installed. I set it up and I had no issues and the connection was stable. This is a very useful camera. The image quality is very good, even at night and the spotlight is a very useful feature.

It’s a good camera that is let down by the app, the picture quality is brilliant and the motion tracking is good. I hate the app it’s a generic app for cameras, lights etc and is not a dedicated camera app, I also did not like that it automatically give you free cloud storage by default so your recording are stored on the cloud. I am someone who doesn’t like my CCTV storage done on a cloud, it does have a local SD storage options too

Based on my experience so far this is a great camera in conjunction with an SD card. It was very easy to install, I used an IP67 waterproof junction box to house the main connectors and then ran a 12v DC extension cable up into my loft. The camera did come with its own extension cable but I used a well reviewed cable from Amazon which was 18M in length and flat to allow me to easily mount to the wall. You can use POE to connect the camera, but I found that the WiFi strength was more than sufficient.

I can’t comment on the cloud storage options as I opted for a 64gb SanDisk Max endurance card instead. This allows up to 30,000 hours of recording and is specifically designed for cctv and dash cams due to the amount of overwriting that usually wears out a standard micro SD card.

Once installed the camera was very easy to configure. There are multiple detection options including zone detection, line crossing, AI vehicle and person detection. There is a colour night vision mode that is incredibly clear, but if you prefer you can change to a standard black and white mode using the built in IR’s. I’ve conducted multiple tests and the detection sensitivity is spot on (this can be adjusted in the app). You get all of the features without having to subscribe, so for me this was a great option. Once a detection has been made an alert comes through on my phone with an image, from there you can click on the playback option to review the video footage. It is also possible to zoom in on the footage and the resolution is sufficient to read number plates, although it is a shame it isn’t 4k resolution but still great. You can then save images or the video on your device if needed.

There are additional options to have sound activate and a speaker to allow you to speak to someone such as a delivery driver. There is also a siren and strobe light, which can be triggered during certain events.

Overall I have been really impressed with this camera. Once installed it looks descreet and for the price it is a great camera for domestic properties.

Great camera with excellent night vision and lots of settings

A fully featured security cam, offering a great many more useful features than less expensive models.

Is sets up easily via a dedicated app.

A movement sensor activates a powerful light.

The imagery is 2K, rather the the standard 1080, giving crystal clear images

Footage can be stored via a cloud subscription, or an SD card that is stored within the camera.

It has two way communication: You are alerted on your phone when someone is at the door, whether deliveryman or ne’erdoewell, and you can communicate with them wherever you are. Very handy to tell the Amazon guy to leave the parcel on the back step, etc.

It mainly does everything itself, but you can control it remotely too via the app.

It is mains charged, so their will be some setting up and drilling, but the cord is very long so there will be a plug in your hall that can be used.

A very big step up both in quality and features from the cheaper cameras, and well worth the extra money in my humble opinion.

    Worth the extra money

As you can see from the pictures. This looks like a standard outdoor security cam but with the added benefit of a spotlight too

Lets get straight into what the good and not so good bits are

    Pros
    – The 2K resolution really does make a difference in clarity when you’re used to using 1080p cams
    – The setup is pretty much intuitive. Download the app and turn on the camera and it guides you through the process
    – It lets you record to an SD card which you can access through the rubber hatch
    – The spotlight really does output a large amount of illumination for the size of the cam itself
    – Can detect noises and audio alarms when you’re away from home
    – Nice clear night vision
    – IP65 rating for water resistance, so should be fine in our changeable weather

    Cons
    – After the first free 180 days of cloud storage you will have to subscribe unless you go for storing the feed locally on an SD card
    – The AI seemed a little flaky as it kept saying a package was detected when in fact it was a person. Will see how it goes over the longer term

    Overall
This gives you the same specs as better known brands but at a better value.

You will have to get the cabling pinned up to the point you want to position the camera, but once that’s done you don’t have to worry about changing batteries.

To be honest, you would be chewing through them at quite a pace with the amount of light this can output to highlight intruders.

So being mains powered is a plus if you don’t want to be climbing up ladders all the time

A less expensive option than the more widely known brands

At the time of this review this camera is listed at 119.99 but has a 40 voucher to reduce it to 79.99 which for a 2k security camera is pretty good value.
I ordered this new 2k camera to take the place of an older less expensive PTZ camera that is always dropping its network connection, even though I have a mesh network and a strong signal even outside.
On opening the camera comes with everything you need to install other than the tools, firstly you will need a small screwdriver to remove the silicone cover and install a micro SD card, I had a 64gb one to hand but this camera will take up to a 128gb SD card for more recording space. Along with this camera during setup I got a six months free cloud recording trial so I don’t really need an SD card but it’s nice to just have a backup or if I decide not to renew the cloud storage.
The camera is a very good looking device with clean mouldings and good insulation from the weather, there are no visible aerials installed but it seems to connect to my 2.4g network without a problem, this camera as with many others doesn’t support 5g networks but that I think is mainly due to the range of the 5g being much lower than that of the 2.4g.
Setup is so very easy using the free AiDot app’ which is installed easily using a QR code. You are guided through the installation and this is done in just a few minutes, I would suggest installing the camera to the app’ before you fix the camera into place as you will need access to the QR code on the case of the camera. Once paired with the app’ you can fix it to the wall using the supplied plugs and screws, you will find that this will save you time, make sure that you have installed the SD card first.
The power cable that comes with this is a very good length and plenty long enough to go through the wall and to almost any power socket in that room which makes a lovely change from some other cameras that have about two feet of cable if you’re lucky, lol. Once fixed into place the camera has a simple tilt adjustment for aiming the downwards angle to where you need your surveillance to be. When in position the panning can be controlled remotely from the app’.
The 2k picture quality from this camera is amazing although in the settings there is only a choice of SD or HD no mention of UHD so I have to assume that the HD setting will be 2k. You can setup activity detection only recording to save space on the SD card or have it record constantly, it will automatically overwrite the early recordings as the cards space runs out.
In the settings there are many options for the motion detection such as human, pets, cars etc’ So hopefully when fully setup it will ignore the thing that you have chosen to untick. Another nice addition is that of a spotlight which is very bright and can be set to activate automatically when motion is detected or can be manually turned on from the app’. There is also an alarm function but this isn’t something I would use but for a rear garden it could be a good idea.
The app’ also allows other devices to be added for enabling routines and action commands using lights and sensors as well as the camera, this isn’t something I have done as I use SmartThings and Alexa for my routines but at least this give you the choice.
The only downsides to this camera is that there doesn’t seem to be anyway to record locally other than the SD card, the instructions are very basic but I don’t see any Onvid support or other protocols to enable this. There is also a one to two second delay between a command from the app’ and the camera responding, this is worse still when watching via an Alexa unit with video display though I suspect that is due to the Amazon web server more than the camera.
Very simple setup, superb picture, great features and good value,
    Recommended.

Brilliant Picture Quality But Has a Delay On Commands Which Is Worse In Alexa

This is one remarkable security cameras which will watch over your property whilst you’re there or not.
This camera is 105 mm tall, sitting 120 mm tall on the base and about 60 mm in diameter.
The front of the camera has the lens, a light and a motion detector which sit flush on the curve of the camera unit itself. There’s also a built in speaker and microphone which makes this a two way audio unit too. This means you can talk to whoever’s activated the sensor, be that a delivery person or a thief
This can be set up either way, using the app to flip the image if you have this upside down. The bracket screws to the wall or ceiling giving you so many options of where this goes.
You have to download the app Aidot, creating an account with them so that you can have full control of the camera.
Connecting this takes seconds, once an account’s made and WiFi chosen. Once connected to your tablet/phone or whatever device you’re using, you’ll get the images which the camera picks up, be that video or images
Once on the app you can set this to run exactly how you want, using the little arrow icons to rotate the camera where it’s screwed to, scanning almost 180 around. The camera moves in silence so there’s no need to worry about upsetting those nearby.
The images this gives are crystal clear and can be recorded either onto the company cloud, (subscription required) or on a Micro-SD card which slots into the back of this unit.
Even night mode is clear enough to see what’s what when it comes to what the camera picks up, and the built in light lightens up anything which moves in front of the sensor.
This is wireless reception but it does need a mains supply to work the camera so you will have to run the mains wire through to where ever the nearest plug socket it. But there’s plenty of wire to work with so there’s bound to be a socket close enough somewhere.
In all, a great little camera which watches over you to help put your mind at ease. Easy to set up and excellent pictures and sound. Well worth the money

Keep an eye on things almost all around you ... with such clarity.

I absolutely love it. The video images are so clean and the night vision is amazing you can see absolutely everything. The talk back is amazing too it’s so clear and you can understand what the person on the other end is saying. I would definitely recommend this item as it’s the best security camera I’m using.
