Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersGreat sound quality, comfortable fit and easy to carry around, however, the call quality isn’t great. When I’m on the phone, everyone complains that they can’t hear me on the other end of the line. To be honest I wasn’t surprised because most earphones at this price have the same issue, however, I was a disappointed because they advertise “crystal clear calls”.

Golden Review Award: 12 From Our UsersI loved my airpods which were a gift and when they finally died I couldn’t justify the 180 for a new pair. I bought these for 40 and I’ve been very happy with them. A few points:

    1. Good sound, battery life and fit. Completely blocks out the outside world which can be both good and bad.
    2. Decent battery life. I use them a lot and the charge case lasts about 3-4 days. Individual charge lasts about 3 hours.
    3. Connectivity is good but does fail when the battery is low.
    4. Charge case does not show percentage charge, only a different LED light. Bit of guesswork required to know when to charge again.
    5. Every couple of weeks or so, it can completely lose connectivity for no discernible reason and you’ll need to reset the bluetooth connection. Annoying but infrequent.
    6. I have not been able to get them to work interchangeably on different devices, just my phone.

A decent pair of headphones for the price.

Golden Review Award: 7 From Our UsersI bought these as a quick replacement to some earbuds which stopped charging. I didn’t expect too much for the price, but they are actually really good.

Initially I was disappointed by the sound having no bass at all, but I’ve figured out that they are quite hard to get in at the correct angle. Once you put the correct size rubber attachment on and place them in the ear at the correct angle, the sound is full with strong bass. I’m not sure what it is about the design that makes it so fussy about the exact angle they are in your ears, I’ve not had this issue with other brands, but now I’m used to them I’m really pleased.

Golden Review Award: 8 From Our UsersSound quality is excellent. Look is excellent. Super easy to use and connect and charge.
Remember to charge the case! Don’t be alarmed if you out the earphones in and they don’t start charging immediately – could be that the case is dead. I’ve made that mistake too many times.

Only downside is that if you have one earphone connected, there’s no option to rewind songs. You can only forward and pause.

Apart from that, great, love it, stays in my ears when I run and move. Case is a bit large and finicky, but nothing major.

Very noise cancelling. I actually hate earphones that noise cancel, so if you want to still be able to hear around you, pick something else. Good bass though

Golden Review Award: 16 From Our UsersThe sound on these is amazing for 27, the fit and design of the buds are also very good for the price. Very comfortable to wear for long periods, has great seal without that annoying pressure feeling, also without sitting far into your ear and they are weighted well, hasn’t fallen out of my ear once.

Only issue with these are the lack of bass, but that doesn’t mean it can’t produce bass.. Its just the default sound profile it uses has it turned down too much.

If you are able to increase the bass through your phone or computer (such as Spotify equalizer in the app settings or using an equalizer in android/pc etc) these go from a 7/10 to a 10/10. The sound these things can produce is on par with earbuds I’ve had for over 100, it’s a shame you can’t use these with the soundcore app to tweak the bass/trebel to reveal its true potential.

I would recommend to anyone who isn’t too fussed with amazing sound quality as they are extremely comfortable and easy to use for this price point, but I would also recommend these to audio nerds looking for some low end wireless buds, these are extremely good.

Golden Review Award: 7 From Our UsersReally impressed with these ear buds, quick and easy to set up, connected straight away to my Samsung galaxy, once paired they connect immediately upon removing from the charging case, lots of playback time, sound quality is great, touch control on the buds seems just right (not too light that the slightest touch activates them and not too unresponsive that you end up jamming them into your ears to use them) on the whole a great set of buds!!!

Golden Review Award: 8 From Our UsersI personally have had my headphones for over a year and use them every day at work and driving around for handsfree calling. I bought this new pair for my wife as she was using wired ones and always looking for the adapter for phone. The noise cancelling is great as she didn’t hear me asking her questions with them in. I only put one in when at work. The sound quality is great. Great price aswell and recommended to customers and friends

I bought these two years ago this month and they are still great. They fit perfectly, and the sound is great. I like the charger case, it seems to keep it’s charge for a long time – I rarely need to charge it.
I use these at work to help me concentrate and they help to cancel out noise around me, though allow me to be alerted if someone starts talking to me. They are easy to pair also.

Bought these just for music and video, so disregarded some poor feedback about mic quality for calls. They replaced a pair of MPOW M12s which cost a little less I think, and broke after falling out constantly. After a couple of days use I’m very impressed with the sound quality of the Ankers, far superior to my MPOWs. I was drawn to this make having used their chargers and leads for a few years and found them to be very high quality. Only disappointment was to see that 2 days after mine arrived they are now on offer at 30% off!

Had these a long time now and were the first soundcore product I owned. They are still performing as they did at the start, great battery life, single ear operation, never a single problem with them auto connecting when taken out the case. Good fit, comfortable and great value. Based on this experience I’ve gone onto buy other Soundcore products including other headphones and some of their speakers. In short, Soundcore seem to have a very good design team at the moment and coming up with new ideas such as their earbuds targetted at sleeping.

Nice fitting very comfortable push button control read a review which said painful to ear. I did not find this at all it needs is a gentile push . Not the loudest ear phones I’ve had but these are 1st wireless so might be the normal. Music sounds ok better than I expected for the price.

I’m not sure if this is standard however these ear buds make a static noise which is not noticeable when you have audio playing, but it is when you just have them in with no audio. Other than that they get the job done while not providing anything special which is not expected at this price point, at least the sale price which I got it for. The battery life is fine for my needs, probably around 2 hours of constant usage. The only other annoying thing is when the battery gets to around 50%, the earbuds make a sound saying “battery medium” and also say “battery low” multiple times when the battery is getting low, this is pretty annoying when trying to fall asleep with some music.

You get quite a lot for 25 pounds. The fit is good and the battery life impressive. You need to make sure you use the correct ear fitting to form a good seal and you will be rewarded with good Bass and good sound quality. It can hold its own with buds 3 times the price. But you do get what you pay for. For every day use out and about its good value as if you lose them it won’t hurt the bank. Recommended. Ps. No volume control. You will need to use whatever audio equipment to control the volume.

The first wearing of the earbuds, the sounds coming from them sounded tinny. After sorting out the earbuds to suit my ear size. I was impressed of what sounds they produced. They charge easily, connect to Bluetooth with a simple pairing process. The only downfall with these earbuds is that Anker App – Soundcore doesn’t support this model. Overall they are genuinely impressive at this price, I would highly recommend these to friends, family..

I bought these as a replacement to a pair of OnePlus buds Z I had for a little over a year. I’ve only used them roughly 16 hours now but can confidently say it was a brilliant choice to upgrade to these. At the time of my purchase they were on offer for 25 which seems to be a regular pricedrop and well worth it.

The sound quality is probably the best you’d get for this price range and battery lasted me over 8 hours yesterday listening to podcasts/music and some meetings then charged overnight by the case before being used another 8 hours today. I understand the battery life will likely drop over time but I’m more than happy with this starting point. The only improvements I would like is to have a battery indicator for the case when connected to my phone just like my previous Buds Z did. This came in handy to know how much charge the case has left.

Overall, you cannot go wrong with these for this price and will struggle to find better under 50.

    Amazing For The Price

These earphones are great, I bought myself a pair last year and my daughter kept stealing them so I got her a pair.
A variety of different size rubber ear pieces to ensure they fit, connect and disconnect so easily, press the button on the earphones to stop /start what you’re listening to or to answer / hang up on calls.
Audio quality seems great to me, but I am hearing impaired and only ever wear one as I am totally deaf in one ear.
Range is pretty good as in I can leave my phone in the house and be outside gardening listening through them.
Charge seems to last ages and when they do need recharging they recharge really fast.
All in all after a few pairs of headphones I was unhappy with these are the best I I’ve had!

I tend to use them more often than my airpods. Having tried numerous earbuds this year and with my main priority being that of listening to movies on my MacBook Pro I was always disappointed by latency which effectively meant the picture and sound were always out of sync to varying degrees. Consequently I ended up going the whole hog and buying some airpods pro which, whilst as you might expect work very well with apple products and have very low latency, are considerably more expensive. I decide to keep these simply for listening to music, specifically from my iphone when out walking the dog. Because of the latency issues I originally gave them 4 stars because they didn’t quite do everything I wanted them to, I have had to upgrade them to 5 stars based on performance against price. You could spend a lot more for better picture/sound sync when watching movies but for 25 you’d be hard pushed to get better ear buds than these.

I bought these in black and was so impressed I have bought another set in white. They charge in the box really quickly and I hardly ever have to charge the box. Use them most days for 2-3 hours. Took on holiday used every day. Just pop the buds back in box and they charge up. Sound quality is good. Cancels out background noise including aeroplane travel. Includes different size cushion to ensure comfortable fit. So impressed abd a lot cheaper than the well none brand would definitely recommend

  54. PYMNTS says:

Firstly, the range of ear tips allowed the selection of a good fit to my ears. The charging case is light if being carried. It was very straightforward to match the earbuds to my phone with Bluetooth. In use, I am reasonably happy with the sound, but as one who has previously used over the ear headphones, there is a distinct lack of low frequency, by comparison with the ‘phones. The phone call function works very well as does the control of the track playing. There is no noise cancellation, but I have found the fit in the ears does blank out most background noise. Volume control is achieved by adjustment on the side of my mobile phone.

As a spectacle wearer, the earbuds are more comfortable to wear compared to over the ear headphones The spring pressure of the ‘phones on the ears pushes on the spectacle arms which eventually becomes quite uncomfortable. Therefore, despite the limited low frequency sound, I shall continue to make use of these earbuds.

These are good but the sound tone is a little on the high pitch side (some users have said tinny, I wouldn’t go that far.)

Sadly I listened to the top review and bought these over the P3 that comes with the app that allows you to tailor the sound with an EQ. With hind sight I would have bought the P3. I’m not sure how good the apps equaliser is but it would have been nice to have some control. You might want to consider this when deciding between the P2 and P3 ranges.

Swapping out the ear-tips helps a bit but not that much.

Bought a few of these for my daughter and myself mainly for music and watching films. Not an expert on sound quality but these certainly seem good for an average user. Only used with Apple products but would easily recommend for normal use.

I really like these earphones, they’re my first wireless earbuds, they just CONSTANTLY fall out. No matter what size buds I use, they constantly fall out. It’s way worse if I’m moving or eating or something. Wish there was some sort of solution to this for me, they make work better for different ear types, but not quite sure.

UPDATE: I’m updating my rating from 2 stars to 4 stars. Even though they do still fall out, and my above review still stands, the customer support is amazing! After posting my review, their customer support immediately reached out to me to try to rectify the problem, it ended up with them refunding me the money and I didn’t even need to send the earphones back. I would ABSOLUTELY recommend these to anyone with slightly smaller ears.

I’ve held off reviewing these for a few months just to see how they hold up, and I’ve got to say they’re very impressive.

This is my second set of wireless earbuds from Amazon, the first being remarkably similar to those from a famously fruity company. Whilst initially good they gave up the ghost within a couple of weeks. These however work like a charm, give great sound and noise cancelling and hold a good charge. They are quickly recharged via the battery in the case which lasts a good while, with audible battery level indicators. Recommended

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersThis is the first time with using in-ear headphones and I was incredibly impressed with them. They charge easily, connect to Bluetooth with a simple pairing process. They sound incredible and even though they aren’t rated for Noise Cancellation. They certainly do an amazing job at blocking all sounds out with them in.
The only downfall with these headphones is the lack of App support. I was looking for a way to EQ the headphones a little to tune them to my liking. Their app doesn’t support this model. The only way for me to EQ the headphones is by using the Playback App that I am using (i.e. Through Spotify). They have all the other models on the app and I was a little disheartned to find that these weren’t included.

Overall they are genuinely impressive at this price point. Anker have never failed me with their build quality before and it carrys on with this purchase too. I would highly recommend these to friends, family and others on the internet.

I like to use headphones for a great many things from audio books, podcasts and a mix of music genres. These headphones did not disappoint but I was skeptical reading other reviews that maybe didn’t have a good experience with them, I have had nothing but good things to say about them. They fit well in your ear, lightweight, Have good base and really good battery life. I have used them in the gym and running and they haven’t fell out once. Safe to say I was happy with my purchase and all I’d say Is don’t let the negative reviews diswaye you. Really happy customer!

These earbuds feel very good quality, they are well built and solid, with a reassuring physical button on each bud that is multi use. The noise cancelling is good but not fantastic, as it struggles outside with any wind at. The fit is not going to work for everyone, and I sometimes struggle to find the sweet spot that gives me proper sealing and full audio depth, even after trying all the sizes of inner ear adaptors.

The carry/charge case is again, solid and feels high end, and so far I’ve not run out of charge at all. My usage is usually for hiking/walking around and hour or two, and a couple of hours in the gym. They stay put very well, and as they are rated for showers etc, are ideal for all weather.

If I’m honest, they are equal if not better than airpods I’ve tried, but not up to the likes of high end Bose etc. They link really quickly out of the case, and there is very little interruption on signal.

I brought this as I was looking for some replacement headphones but didn’t want to spend a fortune.

I noted this product and as I’ve previously brought Anker products so know the quality is often very good.

The device is very nice, it’s light, comfortable and fits really well. I’ve used them for a few months and in general enjoyed it.

Two little niggles, the first is you can’t control volume from them so have to get my phone out to adjust volume, and the second is I occasionally get a blip with a very brief loss of sound and it then comes back… it’s a second, but can happen a few times over a 30 minute walk.

Other than those two points I’d say these are great value for money for someone who just wants to use of things like walks, but doesn’t want to spend a fortune.

Golden Review Award: 8 From Our UsersI bought the black ones and I’m so happy with them! Having 4 different sizes of ear tips is a massive plus! I’ve got quite small ear canals and usually i struggle to find tips small enough and end up with earache, but the smallest tips fits me perfectly! The size of the case is small for me to put in my pocket, and the fact it charges the earbuds while they’re in there is great. I charge them up on my breaks and I’m ready to go! The sound quality is amazing, I am very impressed! They connect to my phone as soon as I take them out the case which is great so I don’t have to faff with anything just take them out, pop them in and press play! All in all I’m glad I found these, the price is amazing for what you get and the quality! It’s all very well made, light and durable. They could easily charge more but glad they don’t as I wouldn’t be able to afford them otherwise! Definitely a brand I’m keeping a close eye on from now on, my only regret is I didn’t find them sooner!

The sound quality is excellent, they have great balanced bass, mid, and treble. They block out noise wonderfully too!

Build quality is very good. They’re surprisingly durable, the case is very tough and survives being shoved into your pocket with keys and change no problem.

If you have sensitive ears the pressing of the side buttons to control music commands might really hurt you, but personally I have had zero issues with this.

The microphones are utter garbage. Do not buy these for phonecalls or for cyber meetings for work. They’re barely audible even if you yell.

Battery life on these things is genuinely fantastic, and that’s with the volume up enough to drown out even the busiest shops.

So if you plan to use these professionally or even for phone calls two stars. Considering the advertising proudly proclaiming “Crystal Clear Calls” this should really be a one star. But for just music? Five stars.

So, I’ve had these for over 18 months now, bought just before UK lockdown, and I must say it’s the best 40 I’ve spent. I use headphones a lot, listening to books, podcasts, radio etc. Normally I’d buy a Sony wired pair with mic every quarter or so. In that respect these buds have saved me a lot of money already. I’ve been hesitant to switch to wireless headphones for a long time, but I got tired of having to replace headphones so often so took a plunge with the trusted Anker. We already have several of their products, so I hoped for similar quality on a budget, and I was not disappointed. Firstly, not having to drag my phone around all the time was a revelation. Often times I’d forget where it is or leave it in the house when going for a walk and only a deteriorating sound quality halfway down the street would remind me to come back and get it. Secondly, I only use one earbud at a time, the other one sits in the cradle charging so I’m never stuck without one. Battery life on these is unbelievable. They did die of low charge on me a few times, but only after a solid day or two of nonstop use. And lastly, today solidified my commitment to Anker… I washed one bud which I left in my trouser pocket… After a couple of days of charging and turning on / off I was nearly resigned to having to replace them, until as a last resort I’ve reset them both (first time ever) and the washed one came back to life, paired with the phone and produced the usual great quality of sound! I’m gobsmacked quite honestly.
So now to the niggles. Firstly, I hate the indicator lights with a passion. They blink away while paired and not used, and blink in super rapid strobe while unpaired. In the dark it’s blinding. Although I have used the feature when I lost the buds. Just turn off the lights and there they are… blinking
Secondly, I can’t turn them off without my phone piping up about ‘using Bluetooth headset with phone’. It’s irritating. I have to remember to put them in the cradle rather then turn off with the button.
Microphone is not great on these, especially in noisy environs, but ok in quieter places.
Lastly, my ears are small and these fall out now and again during workout, so I’m using different ones with these as a backup.
After 18 months of heavy daily use I haven’t noticed battery life or sound quality deteriorating.
All in all the best budget wireless buds one could get, no doubt about it. Once I’ve driven these into the ground I’ll be getting the sports version.

Golden Review Award: 4 From Our UsersI wanted to try some budget ear phones as I’m an occasional user before I jumped in and bought a premium fruit-based device.
I paid 35 for mine and I think they are very good value for that cost.
I paired them easily with my iPhone 12 and MacBook and have only had to re-pair once in 4 months of use.
Sound quality is no better than average. Bass is almost non-existent. But if premium sound quality is crucial then you wouldn’t be looking at these.
For watching movies or videos these are perfectly fine. Games are laggy which I don’t like and would make me consider a premium set.
The build quality of the buds and case is excellent and indicative of a much more expensive product. The fit is comfortable and battery life seems great although I am an occasional user.
When making calls I prefer to use one ear bud as the other callers voice can pan around from ear to ear which is disconcerting. Also I have complaints from other callers that my voice is quite faint. So these are not the best if you want something for regulars calls.
Overall these are an excellent budget option – I probably will buy something better like Nothing Ear 1, but these will be my spares.

Golden Review Award: 12 From Our UsersExcellent quality overall for the very low comparable price point.
Backed up by a proper brand that’s been around for some time, so you arguably can rely on their warranty & them being around still etc.

They feel very light & despite not having any fin/hook on them do hold in my ears pretty well.
In fact they felt more secure than the Soundcore Life A2 NCs.

I think if your looking to use for a sports, I go with the Soundcore Life Dot 2 over these.
Caveat that by saying, unless you prefer the design of these, in which case crack on as I’m not you’d be going wrong by getting them.

As per the videoz I think the sounds & mics are decent. Feel comfortable in the ear, have good battery life etc.

I have had these for a few months now as I wanted to give them a real trial before reviewing. I am really happy with them. I am a runner and wanted a wireless set of headphones that I could listen to music and podcasts with on longer runs, but ideally only wearing one headphone as I like to have one ear free to hear traffic noise for safety.

These are great! I had a pair of Bluetooth headphones before but their battery life was dreadful and after a couple of months they completely stopped working (I got 10 minutes of playback when fully charged so I threw them away as they were not fit for purpose). I was worried these headphones would be similar and would not last, but i was wrong they are superb.

These Anker headphones have great battery life (several hours playback between charges), I can go out with only one ear bud in place, and they fit perfectly in my ear without adjustment – they stay put even when sprinting.

The sound quality is excellent, I listen to a mix of soul, hip hop, 1950’s jazz and spoken word/podcasts and all sound clear with a great mix of bass and treble.

The carrying case is neat and good quality and keeps them safe and charged whilst not in use.

I can’t say enough about these neat, reasonably priced headphones. Give them a try they are great.

Golden Review Award: 4 From Our UsersI was completely obsessed with getting AirPods, I have used my friends ones before and found the sound quality and convenience of them great. But I didn’t want to spend the money on them when I got a pair of beats for free when I got my MacBook and those are definitely superior for listening to music at home.
I found these and they are exactly what I wanted, cheap true wireless earphones that are reliable and have good sound quality.
These earphones are pretty good, they fit well and don’t fall out like most earphones do for me which is great. They also surprisingly have good passive noise cancellation.
The only thing I don’t like about these so far is the frequency response of them. They have a big boost in the low end which is fairly normal for consumer grade earphones, but they also have a big boost around 2-3kHz which makes a lot of songs sound quite harsh. Because of this combination it makes instruments in the mid range sound really quiet, and as I’m a guitarist who listens to a lot of rock, I’m missing a lot of the guitars!
Overall these are still worth it if you want some budget true wireless earphones. I wouldn’t recommend them if you are looking for headphones that you’ll use as your main listening pair, but as a pair for short travels they’re great.

*Edit: After spending a few more days with them, my ears have adjusted to these and I am really impressed with them. I highly recommend these.

While the earbuds are really good, the outstanding bit is the help I got from Anker’s customer service.
I was having trouble paring the buds, and she talked me through the process very patiently … !
I am pairing them with a Garmin watch, an iPhone 6s, and a MacBook Air. It is not that obvious how to do it.
There is a sequence to go through when swapping from one bluetooth transmitter to the next – and a sequence to go through if nothing works …
If nothing works, turn off bluetooth on all devices, or turn them off.
Put the earbuds in their case.
Press and hold the buttons on both earbuds for quite a time – wait for three flashes, a gap, and let go when you see a white flash. (I did multiple variations on this, but only succeeded when Lyn suggested I let go as soon as I saw the white flash.)
Then take the right earbud out of the case and turn on bluetooth on one of the devices – wait – and pair it when asked.
Then put the earbuds back in their case.
Turn off bluetooth on the first device, and turn on bluetooth on the second device.
Take out the right earbud from the case. Wait – until the earbud turns up – and pair when asked.
    And so on.
When you are trying to wipe the memory of the earbuds and reset them to as new, you have to let go of the buttons are precisely the right moment … that was my experience.
And putting the earbuds back in their case and taking them out again was all I had to do to get them ready to connect to a second or third device.
The Garmin Venu Sq watch does not work that well with the earbuds – I think they would be fine if you just used the earbuds for nothing else. When they stop working properly – after using different bluetooth headphones on the watch, the iPhone and the Macbook – the volume control on the watch stops working. The only way to get that going again is to reset the watch. A pain. My other headphones do not have this problem with the Garmin Venu watch.
I would keep to the Soundcore Life P2 earbuds … except when I get on my mountain bike – if one fell out I would be unlikely to find it again. A problem.
Anyway – Lin was VERY helpful, and stopped me throwing a tantrum – or chucking the earbuds in the bin!
The earbuds are very good, and worth having!
I have no idea if the pairing / volume control problem with the Garmin watch is Garmin’s fault, or Anker’s, or both. I do not get that problem with other headphones pairing to the watch, or pairing the Anker earbuds to my iPhone and Macbook. The software in the watch is being constantly updated. I do not think the software in the earbuds can be updated. Nonetheless I can clear the problem by resetting the watch – so it is probably a problem in the watch ….

Golden Review Award: 4 From Our UsersI bought these due to the many positive reviews, and I have to say, at first, I was impressed.

Pros: They look and feel amazing, I had no issues fitting them in my ears, and they come with different size buds.

Tthey connected easily. Sound quality was good as well- I use them for basic stuff- to do my online classes and to talk on the phone without wires catching in everything.

Phone calls were good too. I was told I’m heard loud and clear enough.
There’s good noise cancellation as well.

Cons: the connection kept interrupting, and constantly reconnecting, every few seconds which made it hard to focus on whatever I was listening to. I restarted, recharged and nothing. The sound kept cracking.

This was happening with calls, and when listening to music, on my phone and my computer.

I will return and have requested a refund.

Edit: Not long after I returned the earbuds, I was contacted by Anker customer service and offered a free replacement pair of earbuds. Fair play to them, standing behind their products, I like that.
I accepted, even though I had already ordered a different brand, to give them a second chance.

This pair is working fine, so clearly I just got a dud the first time.

All the pros I listed before still stand, and I think they’re a decent pair of earbuds.

The sound is not too loud, even though not a problem in itself (it’s not too low either), and the quality is good.

If you are looking for a decent pair of earbuds, that do good at music and calls, I’d say go for them, they’re great and the company seemed serious about their products.

N.B : At the moment, I’m using a different brand( as I had them ordered), and have passed these on to my husband.

    Decent pair of earbuds

Golden Review Award: 4 From Our UsersGiven that these are a fraction of the price of AirPods, it is not even slightly fair to compare them.

Except the comparison is obvious, the design it similar, they are aiming for a similar market.

So, let’s do the comparison ?

AirPods just plain work with all your Apple devices, magically. These can be configured to work with your Apple devices, one at a time. This may be a huge limitation to you if you just want to grab your headphones and your Apple Watch and head out. But if you only pair your headphones with one device, they are fine.

AirPods sound great. So do these. I actually prefer the sound from these for more modern music, but AirPods win for older (1970s/80s) stuff. For modern music production tracks they sound amazing.

AirPods have the ability to recognise a touch and act on it. So do these, but these are very, very annoyingly sensitive. AirPods seem to be able to tell and adjustment from a deliberate ‘hang up’. These do not, which means that I have to be super careful to not touch my ears while calling else I hang up.

Non AirPods Pro’s do not fit my ears. These do. The interchangeable tips are great and I found that I had some isolation tips in my drawer from some other headphones and they transform the headphones – not only do they fit even better, but the sound is even nicer.

Overall, these are solid performers, they are comfortable and apart from minor BT quibbles, they are great. They sound good, they fit my ears, they have decent battery life. They are also a fraction of the price of AirPods…..

Golden Review Award: 7 From Our UsersThese were my first wireless earbuds and I must say they pack quite a punch for their price. Was strongly considering for going with one of the more expensive brands but they all seem to have some sort of issue, whether comfort, sound quality or build quality. Going with the cheaper choice this time definitely hasn’t disappointed this far.
Earbuds come with selection of tips to choose from based on ear size, and while mine don’t seem to fit perfectly and often slide out, at least they offer you a choice. Should maybe consider replacing them with pair of foam tips that stick better and are more comfortable but for the quality that comes with the earbuds, they’re solid.
Battery life is great and haven’t had a problem so far getting multiple charges out of using them with the earbud charger box.
My only real gripe with them is that you can use the right one on its own, but not the left as it requires connection to the right earbud to work together. A feature such as this would be welcome (and perhaps even exists for all I know, but was never shown clearly in the manual) but not something that would turn me away from these buds.
The usage range of the Bluetooth isn’t terrible but you’ll struggle to keep 100% connection after a few metres away from the source. Keeping these with the source nearby is definitely recommended.
Can’t say how they perform/feel during exercise but for casual use they work great.

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersI’ve been incredibly sceptical about wireless headphones since they first began getting popular, but after years of dealing with untangling headphones, I thought I’d finally take the plunge.

There are more expensive wireless headphones on the market, and they have better sound quality, but if you don’t have a baseline yet and you want to start somewhere, these are an excellent choice.

When these arrived I had pretty low expectations and I was fully prepared to go back to my wired headphones, but I plugged them in (making sure I had a good earbud tip fit) and hit play on a song – starting with something with a deep bassline and a thumpking kick. When the song dropped I genuinely gasped. For the pricepoint I can’t believe the bass these can put out, with great clarity for the high-end, too.

    Pros:
    – Super easy-to-use. Pull them out of the case, they switch on, put them back in, they switch off
    – You can very easily use one headphone. Pull one out and pair it, and it’ll remember forever.
    – Noise cancellation is shockingly great. Maybe I had the perfect fit for my ear, but I can barely hear a thing outside of the ear buds.
    – A surprise for me: being able to brush my teeth whilst wearing one headphone and still being able to listen to a video or listen to music. Makes it less of a chore!

    Cons:
    – I can see them occasionally slipping out an ear if you *really* move your head aggressively. That being said I’ve not experienced it once, yet.
    – Microphone quality isn’t great but that’s to be expected. Having spoken to my girlfriend, she thinks the audio sounds better if you have both headphones in rather than one, so I’m not sure if both mics ‘complete’ the sound.
    – The sound quality probably isn’t for audiophiles, but I’d say they’re on-par with a 25 pair of wired Sony earbuds, possibly better. My point is they don’t sound like 5 headphones you’d grab as a last resort, which was my biggest worry.

Overall I’m super pleased with these. Using them around the house make everything really a lot less of a chore when you don’t have a cable hanging around. They’re brilliant – especially for the price!

Golden Review Award: 7 From Our UsersI really like the Anker products and I’ve used their headphones for a while. I’ve never bothered with ‘True Wireless’ until I have these ago.
Sound quality is really good and the charging case is mega useful! It’s so handy to be able to put the headphones away and know they are being charged. I’ve got no idea on battery life because I just use them for a few hours then they’ll be in the case charging, so for me it may as well be infinite, as long as the case is charged.
Noise cancellation is always disappointing in my experience. No matter the claims I’ve never been surprised by noise cancelling. If you listen to music mostly then you probably don’t notice but I listen to a lot of spoken stuff and if I’m walking you can hear cars passing etc quite easily, it’s not a complaint as such but I wouldn’t recommend them based on the noise cancelling promises.
The fit for the buds is a little wired as well it goes small, medium, massive and the medium feel a little to small but the massive are to big to be comfortable for a while and don’t stay in very well if I’m eating or moving my jaw – I’ll likely end up using my previous buds.
As they are Bluetooth 5.0 they use very little phone battery, which is excellent.
All-in-all for the price point I think these are a good buy based on sound quality, Bluetooth 5.0, charging case, and general build quality.

This is the first time I have purchased a set of wireless earbuds and I’m happy with the purchase, based on this I would be interested in looking at more expensive options in future.

I found the Soundcore Life P2 earbuds very easy to setup and use with both my Pixel 4 phone and Windows 10 laptop. The noise cancellation when using the earbuds for making phone calls is good (I was able to make a call outside in the wind without a problem), and the range is fine (I was able to stay on a call while moving around the house up to 10 meters away through walls no problem).

The earbuds fit well although they tend to drop out of my ears which is perhaps to be expected – I tried putting my own noise cancelling foam tips on the earbuds to see if this would help with keeping the earbuds in place as well as improving the sound quality but then found that the earbuds wouldn’t fit in the charging case (with the foam tips attached), but I guess this will probably be the same for any similar earbuds with the small charging cases, i.e. the small charging cases provided with most wireless earbuds don’t seem to be designed to accommodate different types of foam tips, which means you’re stuck with the rubber tips that came in the box.

The sound quality is ok, probably good for most people, but as someone that appreciates good quality sound then I would say the sound quality is less than I hoped for – but at this price point the sound quality is totally sufficient and cannot be criticised. The music sounds fine and I’ve never had problems hearing others when taking a call on the earbuds, so I’m happy with the product.

The buttons on the side of the earbuds work well and integrate nicely with Google Assistant on my Pixel 4 phone (Android 11) as well as Spotify, so I’m happy with that.

Overall I would rate these earbuds at 4/5 or perhaps 4 1/2 out of 5 based on the price, quality and functionality provided. If the sound quality was better then it would be 5/5 but overall I am impressed with these earbuds and would consider buying from Anker again, or at least seeing what they would have to offer at a higher price point.

If you’re looking for a relatively cheap and reliable set of wireless earbuds then I would recommend the Anker Soundcore Life P2, they really are a nice set of wireless earbuds for the price!

Additional data: After 6 months constant use the earbuds stopped pairing and I was unable to use them with any device, however just one call to Anker Customer Support and they sent a free replacement with no quibbles in a few days, excellent after sales support and one very happy customer!

Nice set of wireless earbuds for the price!

Golden Review Award: 7 From Our UsersI couldn’t write this review fast enough…

From the first second that I put these earphones in to my ears, I was already sold – they’re genuinely the very first pair of plugs that actually fit my ear canal AND don’t fall out every time I go for a walk! Already a very, very happy customer, but it gets better….

First phone call I made from them and all subsequent calls since have been fantastic, full stereo sound. Very clear, great volume and I was heard just as well by the other caller.

Lastly, the music test…. Honestly, if you were only to buy them for this alone, its a 10/10 win from me! Beautiful range and unreal bass from such a small driver – I’ve no idea how Anker has made these this good, but honestly, if these things were twice the price I paid for them, I’d still be delighted!

I’ve given them 4 out of 5 for noise cancellation for the opposite reason that you might think – They’re TOO good. When wearing the plugs, its like wearing ear defenders coz I really can’t hear much past the plugs, which means as I’m talking, I can feel my own voice in my chest, if that makes sense? This is very far from being a regret or deal breaker, simple answer is take a call and wear one ear plug a little loose if needs be and you’re good to go.

It does come with multiple rubber ear caps, so maybe a slightly smaller size would be the answer, but I’m that happy with them, I don’t want to change a single thing.

Anker, well bloody done! Unreal job!!

Golden Review Award: 7 From Our UsersI am so impressed by these earphones. The sound quality is excellent as is the battery life. I can connect each earpiece to separate devices which is great for managing work calls on my work phone while listening to music from my personal phone (very much a lockdown problem!).
I use these for music, calls and audiobooks while working, housework, yard work and exercise. I had been using a pair of Sony over ear headphones which were three times the price of these earphones and came with a fancy app that allowed you to modify the noise cancellation and sound quality. I find these so much more comfortable to wear and just as good as cutting out the background noise. I don’t notice any wind noise while walking with them. For my purposes, the sound quality is excellent. Honestly I can not recommend them highly enough, especially for the price.
For comparison, listening to the same music on apple EarPods and these headphones, I cannot tell the difference in sound and these are about 1000 times more comfortable.
*update* I am updating this review as I bought a second pair after the original had an unfortunate dog walking accident. I expected the quality of the new pair to match the original but have been somewhat disappointed. I bought the mint green version this time and somehow they feel lighter and less substantial. I do like the colour though. The seal on the ear piece is also much less secure, meaning outside noise leaks in. The button is also much more sensitive which results in me accidentally turning off the ear piece when adjusting it in my ear or sometimes, just tucking my hair out of the way.
I also keep encountering what I can only describe as hiccups in the Bluetooth connection. The sound drops out and then comes back a second later. It is disconcerting if you are listening to a audiobook or music. I did wonder if it was my phone but it only happens on these headphones and not when I am connecting to any other speaker.
The quality of the sound is still good but not as good as the original pair. There is more noise in the sound than previously. I can only assume that Anker has downgraded its manufacturing process in the interim and are focusing on their higher priced versions. It isn’t a shame as the battery life and overall quality of the original pair was excellent. The replacement pair don’t feel worth the current price.

Golden Review Award: 6 From Our UsersAs someone who likes to find a good balance between the cost and performance of a product – I would highly recommend this product.

It’s evident the manufacturer has opted for some cost-saving measures with these earphones, but for the price, I don’t think I can complain.

    Pros:

Easy to connect – once set up with your device they work as you’d expect. Take out the headphone from the case, wait for a second or two and they are connected. This works surprisingly well, even if you’re only using one.

Sound quality – As long as you use an appropriately sized ear tip for your ear (4 sizes provided) you will be happy with the sound (aptX audio if supported by your device). The tips give passive noise isolation and the earphones themselves can reach a reasonable volume. However they do lack slightly in the bass department

Fit – As before, if you use the correct sized ear tips you will find these earphones fit snugly in your ears. I haven’t had mine fall out yet during office work or weightlifting.

Build – Although the choice of materials for the case lid isn’t ideal as it feels flimsy, the rest of the product feels very well made and put together with magnets strategically places to make putting the earphones back in easier and satisfying.

    Cons:

Mic – I’m not sure if this is a defect with my unit but I am only able to have a decent phone conversation with the right earphone. I’ve experimented with friends and determined using the left earphone alone for calls is terrible and both together are unsatisfactory.

Controls – With only one button on each earbud you can only answer calls and play or pause music. To adjust the volume or skip a track, I’ve had to use my phone mainly.

Range – Not a major issue as the audio is typically relayed fine if I am a couple of rooms away, however, the audio starts to break up when I go downstairs.

Off the bat, if you’re on a limited budget and want some truly wireless earbuds that have great battery life, these are probably going to do you well. They’re lightweight, generally unobtrusive, and almost fantastic for travelling. The sound quality isn’t perfect, but for wireless earbuds of this price, they’re much better than cheaper alternatives.

However, there are some issues with them.

The first that you’re likely to encounter is that, contrary to the images on the page, the case is not slim. While other more expensive alternatives are so small that you can fit them in the coin pocket of your trousers, this case is approximately 3.3cm thick on its thinnest axis. While this does leave plenty of room for additional charges – again, perfect if you’re on the go and away from a charger – it also leaves a pretty sizeable bulge in your pocket.

The second problem is that, unlike the more expensive alternatives, the media controls on these are physical buttons instead of touch-sensitive. You might think that this isn’t that big of a deal, but when the buttons are so stiff that just pressing it once forces the bud to go further into your ear, it kinda becomes one.

Now, of course, there are ways around this – hooking a finger over the top of it, and then using the media controls, for example – but it does become annoying if you tend to skip songs or want to go back. In addition, due to the stiffness, the harsh click of the button can cause problems for those who are sensitive to such things.

The third thing might just be something to do with my phone, but I’ll list it here anyway because it is by far the most annoying (other than the comments my brother gives me about the bulge): the volume is way too high. My phone has, by default, 15 volume levels. Using its built-in speakers, I tend to have it at around level 7 when I’m watching something alone.

With these earbuds, I can barely go over level 1. Even then, even on the lowest volume level my phone will allow, it can often be too loud.

Of course, there are some ways to get around this – install a third-party app, change your phone’s sound settings to have over 50 volume levels – but the hassle shouldn’t be there to begin with.

However, if you can withstand those three things, these are pretty good earbuds. They might not fit into a pocket easily, they might have a tendency to leap out of the case if you drop it, and the buttons might cause some damage if not dealt with, but they are really rather good.

As I said, the battery life on these things is fantastic. For how small and how cheap they are, they last for an incredibly long time. On top of that, the tight seal the earbuds make means that you get some pretty good passive noise cancellation. Those two things together make for a pretty good deal if you’re travelling by plane.

As such, despite my personal problems, I have given them a high rating. If you’re on a budget, or if you just don’t know if you’ll like wireless earbuds, or if you’re in need of a quick, cheap replacement/stopgap, these will serve you well enough.

I’ve had these several weeks now so had a good chance to try them. I bought these to replace a set of Here One wireless buds ( expensive, great sound, noise cancellation plus other hearing features, terrible battery life and a now defunct company. These were out before wireless buds were a thing and sadly nobody else seems to have taken up their technology) as the now unsupported app was hit & miss getting a connection.
I wouldn’t have bothered with wireless buds again as I don’t listen on the move that much, occasional bus usage, and I’m happy with the AKG wired set supplied by Samsung or Soundmagic E10’s I’d bought. For holiday travel I have the Sony WH-1000XM2 over ear, noise cancelling wireless headphones (and very good they are too).
However, because of this covid-19 malarkey & Boris Bumbles insistence that we get out for excercise I’ve had to relearn what my legs & feet are for by doing a bit of walking.
So, wire’s being a bit old school I looked around for some new gadget, was leaning again to the Sony or new Samsung buds-plus but couldn’t really justify to myself spending so much for something that’s likely to be thrown in the drawer when things are back to normal. That’s where these Soundcore P2 come in. I was aware of the Anker brand for a while so felt they would be a trusted buy as opposed to they other cheapies available.
What are they like? The sound is excellent, you’d probably pay a lot more to get as good a sound. However this does depend on getting a good fit, which is something I’ve struggled with, hence 4*. I’ve tried the different tips supplied and dug out foam tips from the cupboards (couldn’t close lid on charging case) but I still haven’t quite got a secure fit in both ears yet. I’ve ended up at times with the microphone pointing upwards instead of towards the mouth. My lugholes mustn’t be anatomically correct.
Battery life seems excellent, I haven’t charged them yet. Using them every two or three days, 30 minutes to an hour at most.
Connection. There is no app to use so just pair them up and that’s it, simples. When you take a bud out of the case it automatically pairs up whilst you insert it, and also tells you the charge state. They can be used individually so probably ok for driving. I did initially get some drop-outs which I think was related to the order I took out the buds and which side my phone was on. As I keep it mostly on the right, I take out the right bud first and no problems since.
Sound control is all done through your phones music app although you can skip tracks using the button on the buds (and a couple of other functions I can’t remember)
Talk, I’ve only had one phonecall using these and it was fine, no problems with sound.
So I think these are excellent value, under 50 what’s not to like, but it will depend on getting a good snug fit.

Golden Review Award: 5 From Our UsersUpdated: now that I have had them for a couple of weeks

Updated again: I have been using these buds for the best part of two years and I love them. My kids have them too now. Very robust, great battery life and decent sound. No frills (eg no vol control) but does everything very well. Good sound with decent bass, water resistance is great. Case is lightweight but surprisingly robust (despite my initial misgivings listed below). Have increased to a 5-star review.

Update additional: I bought the updated smaller version of these buds – nowhere near as good. Avoid.

The sound is pretty good with solid bass and defined mid/highs. Better bass than the Encafire Future Plus wireless buds which are 10 cheaper. However, the microphone stalks do rub against my jawline producing some unwanted noise, so there is that.

The fit is solid – they don’t feel like they’re going to come out at all once I’d got the silicone seal right (I have big earholes it appears so I use the largest seals). UPDATE: quite comfortable for long periods of use – make sure you pick the right seals for you as this makes a big difference.

Controls are easy to use – the buttons don’t require excessive force so you don’t end up driving them into your ears when you press. Controls are very basic though – no volume, only stop, start, next, back and hold for Siri (I use them with an iPhone). UPDATE: buttons are quite sensitive and easy to accidentally press when placing them in your ears or even repositioning them, which takes a bit of getting used to. Having said that, I don’t think the microswitches are especially robust as the left bud button lost a lot of travel in the first week – it still works, but doesn’t make a perceptible “click” any more.

Haven’t had them for that long so don’t know how the battery holds out, but they’re meant to be able to do 7 hours playtime before recharge. UPDATE: battery does indeed give you 7 hours continuous play on a full charge.

When your music is paused a little white LED flashes once a second on the tip of each bud stalk, which is annoying – what’s the point given that you won’t be able to see it if you’re wearing them? But it’s not the end of the world.

Bluetooth connection seems solid so far – I will update this if it turns out to be otherwise. Buds work independently – put the left one back in the case and the right one keeps on going while the right one powers down. Pull the left one back out of the case and it powers up and reconnects to the right fairly seamlessly. Works the other way too, with maybe the odd Bluetooth hiccup. UPDATE: each ear bud shows up as a separate device in the bluetooth menu on my phone, connecting to either one will connect both, but when you switch one bud off the phone needs to reconnect to the other, which can take a few seconds creating a break in playback or interrupting a phone call.

Bluetooth range seems good – my house has thick solid walls and the signal managed to get through them when I moved to another room. I was able to move out into the garden and still get a clear signal from inside the house.

Call quality is decent – the sound comes through both ear buds and you can use either to answer. The mics on both buds work well though the voice quality is a bit tinny on recordings when compared to a decent wired mic.

Noise cancellation: I made a call with quite a bit of wind blowing around that overwhelmed my cheaper Encafire buds and the Anker Soundcores did well – the noise cancelling works well on calls. I only give three stars overall for noise cancellation as it doesn’t appear to work at all when using the buds for anything other than phonecalls – I tested this by switching the buds off and leaving them in my ears, no change to the ambient environment. Perhaps the noise cancelling only works when playing something into the buds – I tested this with a silent sound file but again, no change to the ambient environment. Conclusion – noise cancelling is only a feature during phone calls when the mics are active – this is not clear from the product description on Amazon.

UPDATE: the quality of the caller is good, but the mics are not very high quality so nothing special there. Noise cancellation on calls does appear to work quite well, cutting out ambient background noise quite effectively whilst you are talking.

UPDATE: if you are recording your voice and want high quality sound don’t bother with these earbuds – the mics are very much inferior to the one that’s built into your phone. No good for recording pod casts or similar unless you want to sound like you are talking through a biscuit tin. A cheap wired pair of earbuds with a mic will give a better result.

Haven’t tested the water resistance, but they are rated IPX7 so should stand up to rain, sweat from the gym and even a brief dunking in the bath, but don’t expect to be able to go swimming in them – they’d likely come out of your ears in any case and sink to the bottom of the pool/sea. UPDATE: I have used these when lying in the bath and even during a quick shower (where I didn’t immerse my head under the stream) and they did just fine. Water resistance appears good!

The case is solid enough but a bit fiddly to open and the buds are apt to slip in your fingers when extracting them. The case won’t double as a power tank unlike some other brands. Charging is through a USB C connector (supplied). There’s only one light on the case so you don’t get an indication of how much charge is left in there. UPDATE: the case is really flimsy, particularly the hinged lid – I think this will be the first thing to give out.

Overall I’m happy with the Anker Soundcores. They represent good value for money at the price: decent sound quality, solid on calls and good ergnomic design. Lose a star for lack of noise cancellation during playback.

UPDATE: rating stays the same as there’s no new discoveries about noise cancellation.

Several days in of using them for calls and watching Netflix for several hours a day over the past 4 days and they have not yet needed to be charged. For the price they have knocked the ball out the park. You literally could not ask for more at this price point. They are also comfortable.. I would like to see memory foam buds perhaps in the future but as they are they are still comfortable.

I have had a slight (and slight is really all it is) where one earbud paired and the other didn’t. It was resolved by putting them in the case pressing both buttons until the flash red, then taking them out the case holding them together until you get a quick flash on the right ear bud. Refresh your Bluetooth connection on your device and done.. Literally 10 secs is all it takes if this happens and it was really easy to find the solution using Google.. This is not a necessarily a problem with the earbuds, device connections can be a bit odd from time to time.

Well done Soundcore. I am seriously impressed.. I am now about to buy the flare speaker based on how you have designed these.

    ORIGINAL REVIEW
I absolutely love these. For 49.00 I expected them to be okay but with maybe the odd sacrifice.. Price wise they are top end of mid market, however I am so over the moon with these.

I bought the first pair and was pleasantly surprised that they arrived fully charged and ready to go. I noted there were plenty of options for ear buds included.. other headsets never seem to go small enough for them to be comfortable for me. I wore these as soon as they arrived for an entire day of work. I was on and off calls, switching between devices and by the end of the day they were still good to go. I used them with no issues using Skype on a Lenovo Windows laptop, and Android 9 Lenovo Tablet and Android 9 Huawei Handset. Pairing was quick and uncomplicated. You pair the first one and the other one follows suit as soon as you take it out the case.

The case I believe doubles up as a battery so you wear them, place them in the case and they recharge. I will follow up with an edit once I have worn them until they die to see how long I can use them for before needing to recharge..but so far I’ve had a good working day out of them..

Those who I was talking to through Skype had no complaints with sound quality of our conversations. I’ve not listened to music as such with them yet but YouTube videos all sound perfectly fine to me..

I am so impressed with these, that I have purchased a second pair to keep connected to my personal devices so I can leave one pair for work devices..

I highly recommend these.. Well Done Anker!!

Golden Review Award: 5 From Our UsersOnce paired with the laptop, which was easy, the headphones automatically connect upon taking them out of the case. Great for Zoom.us / Microsoft teams meeting. Not so great for music (they lack bass). Once paired they even allows you to walk away fros the computer (up to 10 meters I would say) and still be connected, which is great for on-line meetings. Using them on multiple devices (eg laptop/phone) is a pain because they sort of need to be unpaired from one to then be paired with the other. This is fine, but a bit tedious.
Overall very pleasant surprise with these headphones which seem to be of v good quality.

Golden Review Award: 12 From Our UsersWhere do I start with these earphones?

Sound quality: 5/10. Not the best range, sometimes delivers muffled low end. Seems that some songs cause it to cut out and cause some popping. High end isn’t very bright but doesn’t hurt the ears so can’t complain.

Connectivity: 7/10 not many issues with the Bluetooth. Although sometimes when connected to my MacBook Pro the sound quality is AWFUL and requires me to turn the device off and On and reconnect. Never had this issue on my iPhone though. Very nice to have earphones that automatically connect when taken out the charging case.

Comfort: 8/10 honestly never had an issue with comfort. Ear tips are soft but sturdy and fit in the ear nicely. These earphones rarely fall out and are great to use for working out. Unlike other earphones I can wear these for prolonged periods of time of over 4+ hours without any discomfort.

Noise ISOLATION: 8/10 there is no noise cancellation. It is isolation which works differently. I use these very often for trips to work and university around London. Being a very busy city it’s important to be able to block out the outside world to reduce stress and damage to the ears courtesy of the underground. These earphones do a great job of blocking out the outside world. When listening to music even at 60% volume I can not hear anything from the outside.

Charging case: 6/10 charging case is good shape and size. The material could be a bit better as it scratches very easily. USB C is great as it charges the case very fast!! Only takes 40 mins-1 hour or so to fully charge. An improvement would be to add some more LEDS so that it’s obvious how much battery the case has since at the moment there is only one light which indicates if the case is charging or not.

Battery life: 9/10! Battery life is awesome. Easily 5+hours listening on full volume!! Charging case can charge earbuds several times over before it is empty. Would be nice to have more of a warning when the battery is low as it seems when the warning comes on the earbuds will only work for 10-15 mins before they die completely.

Overall 7/10. for the price these earphones are a great purchase. I would definitely recommend these if you are on a budget or are moving to wireless earbuds for the first time.

Golden Review Award: 13 From Our UsersFirstly, I understand the irony in calling these average and then leaving it a four star review. I do this because people tend to make an immediate judgment of a product so will likely see 3 stars and think “rubbish – do not buy”.

Firstly, the case is bulky and feels robust enough to take a bit of damage. This is good because this product is clearly designed to be taken on the go, and the case serves not only as a means of storage, but also the primary means of charging the headphones. However, the case is quite thick. I think it would be more ergonomic if it was wider/longer but less tall. If you keep the case in your pocket you’ll constantly know about it because of how thick it is.

The lid of the case is easily the worst part. It’s pathetically flimsy and I cringe every time I have to open it because it just feels like I’m wearing it down and I’m waiting for the inevitable break to happen. I’m actually extremely careful with these so it says a lot that I feel as though the lid is too flimsy.

The headphones are quite bulky, and I honestly struggle to keep them in my ears. You are given an array of different bud sizes so that you can find the size most suitable for you. I’m a relatively average person in terms of metrics. I’ve never had any issues with using the default sizes of any other headphones so I was relatively shocked when I discovered the base bud size was not suitable for me. I tried all of the bud sizes and I must say that none of them really fit me comfortably. I did, however, find the size that was “good enough” for me. This means that I can sit with them in and move my head without worry of them falling out. If I stand up and walk around they definitely loosen, and I would not feel comfortable going for a jog with these in because I will most certainly lose them. I tried them in my home gym whilst doing controlled barbell work and they nearly fell out of my ears. I actually had to swap them for a pair of over-ears.

The sound quality is good enough. It’s nothing impressive and it’s actually quite average. I’d say the sound quality is on par with a 15 priced (Anker) wired in-ear headphones that I also own. They don’t sound bad (they’re not tin-ey or cheap sounding) and no frequency ranges tend to stick out. They’re good enough, but definitely not pushing boundaries in terms of audio quality.

Charing is fine. You charge the case and can charge the headphones by dropping them into their compartments. They’re held in place magnetically, charging is fast and because they charge through the case I’ve never had that annoying moment where your battery dies mid commute. This is because they’re constantly being topped up, so the case will go flat before the headphones do.

To summarise, I only really bought these because they were on sale (I would definitely not pay close to 50 for these). I managed my expectations before they arrived and had a reasonable understanding of what sort of quality I should expect. They’re good headphones but they are definitely not impressive, I also disagree that they are suitable for a workout because of how easily they can fall out. They’re absolutely fine if you’re sitting still whilst you’re using them. If you buy them you’ll probably enjoy them, but don’t expect to be impressed by the audio quality. They’re relatively average in that regard.

Golden Review Award: 13 From Our UsersManaged to bag a pair of these for 33 in January 2019. I’ve owned multiple pairs of bluetooth earphones and headphones in the past, but never such discreet-looking earbuds. Given that some of my larger earphones/headphones in the past had struggled with Bluetooth, I had a pretty sceptical mindset when buying these. However, for the most part these have been absolutely great. The sound quality is far better than I expected: a decent level of bass and lots of clarity in the treble range. If you’re sold on buying a pair of wireless earbuds, I genuinely can’t imagine that there’s a better performer out there in terms of the price vs. sound quality ratio. A unit with active noise cancellation would probably give you slightly clearer audio but the price point will be significantly higher.

Where these buds DO fall down slightly is in terms of fit and seal, which is obviously important for reducing ambient noise and increasing comfort. TO be honest, I’ve struggled to get a decent fit with the supplied silicon tips. I seem to be caught somewhere between the largest and second largest tips: use the largest and they gradually slide out of my ears; use the second largest and the seal is not tight enough and the buds push too far into my ears. However, what is nice about the supplied tips is the very wide size range catered to. Given the highly affordable price point compared to other leading wireless earbuds, it makes sense that Soundcore have provided tips small enough to fit youngsters/teenagers.

I also find the controls a bit limiting and potentially also uncomfortable (if you’re not careful). Firstly, there is no volume control on the earbuds. Again, not a major issue given the price point, but an irritation nonetheless. More importantly though, pausing or skipping tracks requires you to push the button on the earbud (once for pause; twice for advance; thrice for backwards). This is fine in principle, but the problem is that the button requires quite a firm push. If you’re not careful, you can end up pushing the earbud further into your ear canal, compressing the air and causing pain on your eardrum. A button with a softer press would have been far preferable here.

Aesthetically, these things look great; far better than Apple’s Airbuds. They have a single white LED on each earphone but they have a very low in-ear profile, particularly compared to Sony’s WF range, which looks much more like the traditional taxi driver style Bluetooth headset. The storage case has a lovely form factor and has given me no problems so far. It charges reasonably quickly via USB-C and gives you plenty of backup juice for the earbuds.

Finally, I should add that I only use these for music and not for taking calls, so I’m not reviewing that particular function.

Golden Review Award: 4 From Our UsersThe earbuds seem fairly well made and well presented. The charging case is small and would easily fit into a pocket. Sound quality is more than adequate considering the difference is cost compared to the major brands. I have listened to both apple airpods and these Anker soundcore buds and the difference in sound quality , although not comparable, is barely obvious. Make sure the eartips are the right size for your ears ( there’s a selection in the box) as this improves the sound greatly. Pairing is very easy. I paired them with my Oneplus 6T phone and also with my LG TV and had no problems. There is an almost imperceptible lag between video and sound but my TV is several years old and the Bluetooth version is probably a bit dated. Noise cancellation is passive so not brilliant and no where near as good as active noise cancellation. Sound bleed is very low. I had these on at a reasonable volume and my Wife couldn’t hear any sound. Overall, I find these to be excellent value for money and well worth considering if your in the market for a reasonably priced set of earbuds.
    Update.
I have yet to get more than 3 Hours out of these whether listening to TV, MP3, or when connected to my iPad. I leave them in the case when I’m not using them and always make sure the case is fully charged. I bought them on the promise of 7 hours and would have been happy with 5 hours but sadly I have been disappointed. Reduced star rating accordingly.
    Update.
Contacted Anker customer service and they quickly sent me a replacement set of buds. New buds seem to be lasting longer so seems like the original set was faulty. Excellent customer service from Anker.

Golden Review Award: 9 From Our UsersI had a pair of wireless Anker Soundbuds Flow and was blown away by the sound quality. After they stopped working in one ear I decided to upgrade to these. One thing I didn’t like about the old headphones was the cable that ran between them and getting these true cable free buds was amazing. I was a little disappointed with sound quality vs the old Soundbuds Flow but sound quality is still good and everything else about them is just perfect. I love the case which they sit in and charge from the integrated battery. I love the design of the buds themselves right down to their satin finish which doesn’t show fingerprints or anything.
Once paired to my phone initially (quick and problem free) I have had no probs with connection. The buds connect as soon as I take them out of the case and disconnect straight after I replace them in the case (whereupon they immediately start to charge). You can use them one bud at a time as well, either left or right. Whichever bud you take out first pairs with the phone and the other syncs with that one. You can put either back in the case and continue using just the one…. and if you put the one back which had connected with the phone initially, the other, after a few seconds delay, automatically realises and connects itself. Amazing.
Call quality is good but occasionally a little echoey. Oh, and they are a little but trickier to remove from the case than they need to be, but the strong magnets mean they’ll never fall out!
    Overall, well impressed.

Golden Review Award: 164 From Our UsersI could never fully get into the feeling of Apple AirPods after being used to in-ear earphones so I decided to try out a pair of true wireless ones on Amazon as an alternative. My photos compare the size to the AirPods.

These earphones offer great sound and wireless experience for what is a really great price. The battery life is fantastic, the form factor is nice and small (when you compare to some of the massive buds that you see out and about) and the sound is surprisingly good. If you buy these remembering that they are a budget pair of earphones then you shouldn’t be disappointed.

There are a few downsides, for me at least:

    – The lid on the case feels a little loose. Even though there is a magnet it feels like it might open up sometimes.
    – The eartip sizes seem to miss a ‘large’ size.. there is one pair of small, three pairs of roughly the same medium size, then a pair of extra large. It would be nice to have one in between the medium and extra large.
    – The phone calls are not good at all. Every person I’ve used them with say the call quality is terrible and I’ve had to disconnect them. If I used the phone more for calls, this would be a major disadvantage for me and lose some stars.
    – The fact it’s a button control and not touch sensitive, it’s actually a bit painful when you use the start/stop/skip functions.

However, overall I would recommend these earphones for a general pair of earphones.

    Pretty good value

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersThese wireless headphones are simple and easy to use, with very good sound quality. For these reasons, I recommend these for friends and family that ask for headphone buying advice.

These are perfect for listening to music and phone calls, for general use while travelling, shopping and working. They pair with my Google Pixel 2 XL very quickly, without much delay, all you need to do it pull out a headphone and by the time it is inserted in the ear and the battery level confirmation is completed, its paired with the phone.

The sound reproduction is very good, much better than similarly priced bluetooth headphones (I bought these for about 33, with a voucher available on the listing) and the in ear rubber seal does a good job of isolating out most of the external sound. These headphones don’t have noise cancelling for listening to music or for you when talking to others, they only noise isolating, with the use of the rubber ear tips, various sizes are included in the box. The sound is well rounded, but if you spent double or triple the amount, you may get better sound, but these are very good for the price.

The charging case and the headphones are very well made, with USB-C charging. The case is a little bigger than I would like to carry around in my pocket, but not too bad. The ear phones have a button to activate your favorite voice assistant and other features.

Voice call quality is very good, and the headphones do a good job of cancelling out outside sound for the other party (so the person you are talking to will be able to hear you clearly and easily) but you will hear some of the outside sound where you are.

The battery life of the headphones is really good, but with the charging case, I don’t need to think about charging these unless I have going on a long journey or the weekly top up to keep it going.

I really like these headphones, work well, easy to use, last for ages and for the price this is a must buy (if you can still get them)

Golden Review Award: 18 From Our UsersBought these because my previous pair of tws earphones failed. I thought I’d try the airpods style. These fitted the bill, good battery life, stylish, comfortable decent sound.

I bought some different ear tips as the supplied ones didnt fit me properly. The triple flange ones I use enhance the sound really well. These a bit more bass.
The controls are basic but not a deal breaker for me. No volume control on the buds either but again it’s not a problem.
I’ve used them at night to listen to podcasts when I cant sleep and they’re perfect.
There’s no lag either when watching YouTube on my S10 or Galaxy Tab. Other video streaming services are fine too.
Battery life is good too, with the claimed 7hrs seeming right.

All in all for a pair of sub 50 wireless buds they’re great. I’m happy with them and am confident they’ll last longer than my last pair from a different manufacturer.

Golden Review Award: 16 From Our UsersI had a problem with this item which was that the volume of my voice sounded low and distant to people on calls. I was contacted by an extremely nice and helpful person called Emily from Anker support, who after running through a few diagnostic steps with me, sent me a replacement pair no quibble. The new earbuds work perfectly and the sound quality is great.

Golden Review Award: 81 From Our UsersWith it’s attractive specifications and actual real-life performance it’s an incredibly attractive option for those looking for quality Bluetooth ‘true wireless’ earphones without paying a premium price on some other options like Apple’s Airpods or Sony’s wide range of Bluetooth sets.

The only thing that seems to be “sub-par” are the 4 microphones for “Crystal-Clear Calls”. I have yet to try them myself but people who I’ve with on the phone did mention a slight static noise when using the Life P2’s.

My top 3 reasons why I love these earphones:
Excellent audio with deep base and clear highs + decent (passive) noise cancellation
IPX7 Waterproof (survived in the rain whilst biking)
7h on one charge, 40h in total with the case (and it charges real fast).

Couldn’t recommend anything else at this price point but the Soundcore Life P2’s frankly!

Could be the best price/performance earphones on the market currently.

Golden Review Award: 141 From Our UsersI have so many Anker products ranging from cables to power packs and headphones, I have lost track of how many products I now have but they are a reliable brand I trust for any electronic accessories. I previously purchased the Soundcore wireless earphones that look very similar to the Apple Airpods, they are very good but these are a sporty upgrade meaning I now have a set for the gym and do not have to worry about getting sweat on them. I have been using them for about 2-weeks, so far my PROS and CONS are:

    PROS
    – sound quality is amazing considering these are truly wireless,
    – calls are crystal clear for both listening and talking
    – the buttons are extremely responsive, I am using them with a OnePlus 7 Pro
    – the battery lasts for ages, I use them on a near daily basis for around 1-hour and have so far only needed to charge them once in the 2-weeks I have owned them
    – connection was fast and simple, too literally 10-seconds after removing the earphones from the battery case
    – the battery indicator on the phone screen when in use is very useful
    – they are extremely comfortable and stay well put when being worn, even during running and rowing
    – I cannot hear any ambient noise when wearing them, this is great for in the gym

    CONS
    – due to the style of the batter case these are quite tricky to take out, the individual earphones can be easily dropped so be careful with them
    – there is only one battery light indicator on the case, the previous version of these has three indicators specifying the battery life, it would have been a nicer addition to have three or four indicators showing how much juice is left
    – the case has a matte texture but not quite as nice as the previous version, the rubberized texture on the older version has a better, nicer feel
    – the gold Soundcore logo is a little off-putting, I prefer the look of the older version because they are jet black and look much sleeker from a design perspective

When you compare the cost of these in comparison to other brands these are far better, the sound quality matches any of those higher-priced brands yet you are paying 1/3 or 1/4 of what the others cost, essentially a bargain in my opinion. I highly recommend these to anyone seeking sports earphones, but also for anyone generally needing a good, reliable set of bluetooth earphones.

Golden Review Award: 182 From Our UsersThese are great!
The build quality seems good for the price. They feel like a more expensive product.
The sound quality is very good for a pair of wireless earphones at this price.
I’ve had them for a week now, used them every day and haven’t had any dropouts the connection is rock solid.
For me the fit is great, I have used these for running a couple of times now and didn’t have to adjust them or push them back in at all! They are very light and don’t feel like a weight in your ear. The profile is much better for wind noise than the bose soundsport and Power Beats Wireless.
I haven’t used them for more than a couple of hours without putting them back in the case so I can’t comment on battery life, I haven’t had to charge the case since I got them.
Each earphone can also be used individually which is great!
Call quality is on a par with considerably more expensive pairs of bluetooth headphones I have owned. You can tell someone is talking on headphones/hands free but its not off putting or too crackley/hissey.

    Great Value

Golden Review Award: 413 From Our UsersWorked and fired up straight out of the box. Just peel off the little white bits over the charger on each headphone and they leap into life. Found my phone straight away. Had to turn off bluetooth on the phone for the tablet to find them (ie to relinquish their hold on them), but so far very pleased.
Others I tried dropped connectivity as you turn away 1m from your phone. These have a range of at least 3m. Bass not so great, but the 40 (alleged) hours from the snap shut tidy case and 700ma battery in it are great. The teardrop form of the earbuds enable the mic to be closer to your mouth. Buttons on each bud are something to get used to but not over complex. The in the box range of rubber ear thingies and cable usb 3.0 are well thought out too. And the instructions are in English that’s been checked by a native speaker.
Wife annoyed by the flashing tiny white lights they emit as I watch a film in bed and keep her awake. So I count that as a plus

Golden Review Award: 20 From Our UsersIncredible earbuds for the price. I’ve been putting off buying a pair of truly wireless earbuds, hoping the technology would improve.

I caved when I saw the price and the reviews for these. The audio quality is great for the price. The bass is very prominent but the mids and treble are decent, especially if you play with the eq settings on your device. I chose ‘spoken word’ on my iPhone which restores some clarity to the vocals and high end.

They paired very easily to my iPhone XR and the instructions were straightforward.

I would recommend these in a heartbeat.

EDIT: They are pretty terrible for phone calls though which brings these down to a 4.

EDIT 2: After editing my review Anker very kindly upgraded me to their newer
model which work great – cheers Anker.

Play with the EQ settings on your device.
