here is nothing bad to say about this thermal printer, I loaded the software from zings website and had it up and running in just a few minutes. Print quality is excellent and fast. The bundled label holder and labels to get you started are a money saver as most don’t come with these extras.

Very pleased with it and it’s good build quality make me confident that it’ll still be performing well for years to come.

This label printer is amazing. I design and create my own packaging labels to sell and this thing is fantastic. The print quality is super crisp and not fuzzy like some other thermal printers. What I love about it more is that you can print directly from programmes like Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator with no problems whatsoever. It is able to take different sized (up to 4″x13″) labels and also (rectangular and circular) shapes.

    I highly recommend it!!

Works great , saves lots of time if you have lots of regular orders to post out.
The print is really clear and a label takes about 1.5 seconds to print with the density set higher and speed lower.

I read and read about these printers, pondering on which one to get and finally settled on this because of a Black Friday offer. First off I can not believe how much time this saved. Prior to this I would download my labels from Etsy, load in to illustrator, space 4 of them out into an a4 document, then do the same for every 4. Sometimes I have 50/60 labels and this took an eternity. With this you download them and then whack print, does one roughly every second.

Saw a few reviews saying it’s hard to install, I don’t know how they struggled because it’s quite simple, download the driver and you’re good to go. Most of the setting me are right out of the box, only one to notice is to change it to ‘fit to page’ else it will print a 4×6 more like a 3×5.

Also don’t get bogged down by the speed, if one claims to be faster then really you won’t notice the difference. This is super fast and very good quality.

Only annoying thing is the beep, it’s loud and constant when it runs out of paper but it’s a minor thing

I’m happy, it was easy to set up, the printed labels are clear. It comes with a label holder, and looks like either flat (comes with 100 labels) or labels on a roll can be used. Because the labels that come with it are not on a roll (flat) I don’t bother with holder as its a bit big and bulky.

Setting up on printer on my laptop was easy enough, went to the zingle page and downloaded the driver.

Much quicker printing than my Epson, and less waste. The label backs I keep, handy to catch drips from my glue gun, and use as mini palette when I’m painting.

I will say I print each label as I go, I haven’t yet looked on click & drop as to how I’d print a batch, but I understand it is possible.

This was a rather resentful purchase – I prefer to give my money to my local post office rather than buying online, but have been forced to purchase a subset of labels – i couldn’t face the thought of cutting, folding and sticking and so after some review reading ended up with this.

It’s great – easy to install on a mac (download the software), easy to use (don’t let it run out of labels or it beeps most annoyingly until replenished) and great print quality. It doesn’t take up much space and does exactly what i need it to do.

Worked out of the box using Win 10. Went to website and driver loaded without a hitch and no re-boot required.
    Here’s how I use it.
Changed the page size in Word to 4 X 6 with 0.5cm all round margins then create your form by adding tables and texts. Now save it as a blank label and if you want you can save it as a template too.
Now add the details to the label and print.
Just some random 60 year old geezer on the South Coast of England, enjoy.

This is great for address labels, for smaller labels I find it needs a bold font as it can be a bit pale. I gave a brother Color label printer which give lovely labels but is rather expensive to use for every label. This was bought for address labels mainly but also does picture labels obviously in black and white.

So far very happy with this printer. It was easy to set up but you have to go to their website, the printer has been working fine, it’s not too loud, it’s fast, the labels are good quality. It’s been only a few weeks but so far so good

Ordered this to save on expensive printer inks just for posting.
I love this machine. Its quick and easy to use once set up. I’m on the latest system mac os 10.15.7 Catalina and its works fine.
Plugs straight in and prints every time.
Sometimes you might find that there is a little what patch on your printing – this is dust or dirt that has worked its way though. Just give the rollers a check. – I blow and it fixes the problem.
I’ve not had it a month of so and i’ve defiantly got my moneys worth in printing.

This is a great thermal printer for small businesses, comes with all equipment needed as well as a stack holder and 100 free labels to get you started, overall more affordable than other thermal printers and well worth the investment & saves you ink costs. Highly recommend for business use.

The money i’ve been wasting on toner cartridges for my printer not to mention the integrated paper…..now royal mail gives me the labels and this little box produces the labels quicker and better than before.
This would be a 5 star review but 1 star deducted as the instructions tell you how to install the driver from a disc…..there is no disc…..had to google it and download the driver.
A couple of other small issues, i start work EARLY…..although this thing is quieter than my laser printer when it runs out of paper it beeps continuously and its LOUD.Finally on a design point of view – who thought it a good idea to put the on/off switch where it is…..daft.
Overall probably the best thing i’ve bought this year – reckon it will save me over 1000 pounds a year.
NB.my printer settings were auto-centring the label which meant i only got 1/4 of the text printed…..had to untick ‘auto-centre’ and tick ‘actual size’.

Exactly what I needed for my small
business, great little printer and the only one that I found that comes with a label holder. I spent a long time looking for machines that are Royal Mail Click & Drop compatible. Most had frustratingly conflicting reviews. I’ve used this printer for Royal Mail, Hermese & DPD labels with no problems

Love my zing printer. Honestly don’t understand why I didn’t buy one sooner. Saves so much time when using Royal Mail click and go account.
So easy to set up. It’s been the best purchase. I used to just print and sellotape my labels on now it looks professional. Also bought smaller labels to create my own label rolls for my packaging.

    Best purchase for my business

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersMy only regret about this printer is not buying it sooner! This makes shipping out my orders so much quicker and easier. It took about 5 minutes to set up with my Macbook Pro and sits compactly on my desk. The printer came with a small stack of 6×4 labels which is great to get you up and running. I use Royal Mail Click and Drop and have had absolutely no issues in getting the postage labels to print, it’s super fast and the quality is perfect.

Golden Review Award: 4 From Our UsersSo – I haven’t printed any full labels yet as I am due to set up a Royal Mail account. I have however, set it up on my windows PC and my Mac, in less than 5 minutes. I’m not a computer wizz, but I am fairly good with computers. I cannot imagine how or why anyone else is finding it so complicated to be honest?! Very good so far, if anything changes, I will update this review.

Great printer prints fast, is quiet and easy to use and setup. Only small annoying thing is that the serrated metal teeth to tear the label off is on the top of the output would be easier if on the bottom

Golden Review Award: 5 From Our UsersZing Label Printer – comes in nicely packed, it comes with 100 labels, label holder (which is bigger than the actual printer), USB cable and power cable (UK power cable and EU cable) as well as instruction booklet.
Printer itself is very compact and easy to set up.
One problem I had with it – setting up drivers – I had to download it from the website but it does not say that in the instruction book. There is a note on the actual box that the printer comes in that you may need to do it that way. It would be worth to put that info in the booklet.
Once drivers were set up printing is very easy. There are different label size settings to play with.

    Would recommend.

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersI was getting sick of resizing shipping labels in word and then printing them onto A4 labels and cutting them to size etc…..it gets tedious after a while, but I couldn’t afford hundreds and hundreds of pounds on the well known brands. So I took a chance on the Zing Printer and I am SO GLAD I DID.

It is just an easy, quick setup and you can just plug and play once you’ve done the initial setup. I am very impressed and it has cut down time when posting parcels. I keep it permanently plugged into my iMac. It’s small enough to keep at my teeny tiny shop and looks nice.

It comes with a good chunk of labels which I haven’t even had to replace yet.

I not only use it for shipping labels! It’s great for printing QR codes or little notes for customers too! I haven’t yet found a program that I use that I CAN’T print from.

This is a wonderful little printer. I had been looking for a while for a thermal printer to print shipping labels for my business. All of the big brands ranged from around 150 anywhere up to 500+ and I knew I didn’t want to spend that much. When I found this printer for the original bargain price of around 130, including some free labels and even the label holder that’s worth 20+ on its own I stuck it on my wishlist until I needed to buy it. I’m glad I did because I got it a couple of weeks later for the bargain price of 99! The print quality of this printer is amazing for it’s size and it is very easy to work out how to use. Once you have the drivers installed, when printing, you can go into the printer settings and set the print speed and density to your desired settings too, although I will say, the default ones are perfectly fine.
Overall amazing quality for an amazing price!

Amazing for the price! I was going to get the munbyn but then got this one for 100 quid! The quality is amazing, very easy to set up too. Unlike order label printers, I was given a stand to hold both folded labels and rolls too! Print quality is faultless.

I can not fault this printer! The quality for the price is excellent, and I found a youtube video that helped me with the set up and I was ready to go in less than 30 minutes. The print quality is excellent and it is much speedier than the desktop printer I was using previously. I use this now for my small business and it has been great! If you care looking for a label printer for a small business like an Etsy shop then I highly recommend!

The printer is good however, it has some connection problems with my MacBook sometimes so I have to restart my MacBook just to get a label, other that it’s okay. But would be annoying if you have a big business and need to print our several labels a day, but I guess if your a small business with one or two orders a day it’s not that bad.

  37. Luke says:

Great little printer. Only criticism is the stand for the labels interferes with the USB and power cables but at least they provide one unlike many others who make it an option.

If you are using Click & Drop or another 6×4 label maker then this is a great product Nyerere for the money.

Golden Review Award: 9 From Our UsersI bought this on a recommendation from a fellow business owner as I was fed up of spending my life print, cutting, cutting tape and sticking labels to boxes which was consuming valuable time.
I don’t normally leave reviews but really had to for this it’s literally AMAZING. I can’t rave about it enough lol!
it’s very easy to set up and whilst I saw other reviews saying it takes 5 minutes, I’m technologically challenged these days so it took me 15… which is still great considering at least 10 of those were me figuring out that I needed to go onto the zing website to download the driver instead of wondering why I didn’t get a pop up on my laptop *eye rolls*. Anyway once I figured that out it literally took minutes to print my first label which is also great quality.
The initial test label was not in the centre but it’s very easy to wiggle the guide tabs to ensure the label prints centrally.
I’m really so unbelievably happy with this product and I can’t believe how much time it has saved, even just from printing one label to test it.
If I could give it 100 stars I would, It’s magic, buy it.

This printer has made my life so much easier. Just when I think I’ve finally gotten over how incredible it is, another benefit crops up and blows my mind all over.

It’s incredibly simple to set up, I was printing labels within 10 minutes. It’s fast. It’s reliable. It is clear. It’s thermal so it NEVER runs out of ink. Every label is perfect, every time. I don’t have to go to the post office at all now I can just simply drop them in a post box. It has saved me hours and I’ve only had it a few days.

I thought the price was steep but having used it now, I’d happily pay double for the ease it brings. So so happy.

Golden Review Award: 9 From Our UsersPros –
    – very compact, fits on a desk nicely
    – requires nearly no set up. Plug in the power, plug in the USB to a computer and it will automatically connect. Settings can then be tweaked easily like most other normal paper printers.

    Cons –
    – By default, it has okay print quality, but not the best. To improve this, go into the printer properties on a PC and bring the speed all the way down, and the line density all the way up. This makes the labels look a lot better! (printer properties > General, Preferences… > Advanced)
    – when you open the printer to load the paper in, there’s nothing to hold the top section up and keep it there. This can be a bit fiddly the first few times, as you’ll need one hand holding it up and the other hand trying to load and align the paper. This does become easier though, so don’t let it put you off.

Overall, I would definitely recommend this as a first label printer. Easy to set up and use, produces good quality when tweaked, but could do with a few minor design changes.

It has adjustable input so can take most label sizes (I use 6×4 inches) and automatically checks the size of the label every time it’s turned on.

It looks very nice and comes with a tray that can store either rolls or fanfold labels. The printer comes with 100 fanfold labels to get you started.

Would definitely recommend it, it’s a little pricey compared to other options but there is a reason for the slightly higher price, I believe it is still the best value proposition on the market.

Golden Review Award: 25 From Our UsersNow I don’t normally write reviews, only if something is really bad but this little printer has blown me away! I needed a thermal label printer that prints 4×6 and they are sooo expensive. After watching many reviews online and seeing that the leading brands out there which are charging 250+ upwards for a shell of plastic (literally that’s all they are) – I decided to take a chance on this one. I clenched my teeth whilst ordering at the fear that I made a bad gamble but this little printer is amazing. It’s solid and heavy and hasn’t let me down yet. The print quality I set at a little darker and print speed slower just to make sure it was all good and really there was no need, its great as is. The only thing which confused me at the beginning, is that my labels were off centre…I messed around with settings for an hour only to realise that the ‘grips’ (I have no idea what they’re called) the plastic clips which hold the labels straight inside I hadn’t closed in to hold the labels still whilst printing. Once adjusted, I get a perfect label every time. It really is a wonderful piece of kit for the price. Thanks!
