Yes it creak’s a bit when used but otherwise ok, you need to follow the instructions so you don’t miss anything, as it’s hard to backtrack.
This ladder is not only easy to install but use by all family members it is also very sturdy
Has not been fitted yet but all indications show should be straightforward.
I managed to install this without any major issues, the instructions were easy to follow, and the ladder feels sturdy enough.
It was a bit awkward with the instruction to use a 2 mm drill bit since this was a little small, but with help of a bradawl and some elbow grease was still simple enough.
I already had a hatch in place so didn’t need the catch fitting but it comes with that if needed plus instructions on how to fit.
All in all one happy punter.
Why didn’t I purchase this years ago? The ladder came reasonably packaged, although the ladder did have a few “dinks’ that I considered more cosmetic than structural. The instructions were clear. The installation was very easy.
The ladder is very well made and so easy to use. On the right side, each section has a pull back and lock bolt and on the left just a pull back bolt. This makes it easy to pull down and push back each section in a controlled way. The ladder comes with a hookpole to pull it down and return it to its storage position.
Fast forward 3 days and I managed to board the central part of the loft and even a light. Initially, I borrowed a telescopic ladder from my neighbour and would have bought the same if not for the weight and the loud clicking noise it made.
The timber types would require a new hatch and cutting into the ceiling, something I couldn’t imagine being able to do myself. So extensive googling (or Amazoing, at least a part) landed me here.
Assembly: Frankly, it took more time trying to understand the instructions than the actual assembly which was minimal because I didn’t need to install the included hatch catch/lock.
Installation: It couldn’t have taken any more than 45 minutes to install the ladder. The ladder angle is to be adjusted when fixing it to the loft floor. There’s a guide sticker on the side of the ladder which I’d suggest following. Another reviewer has written about the ladder coming off the sliding rail if stowed away speedily. I reckon that’s because they have not installed the ‘bottom stops’.
Ladder: It’s very light weight and a bit rattly (if that’s even a word). The steps aren’t deep and wearing flex sole footwear helps. It said to support 150 kg and I wouldn’t doubt it. I’m just under 90 kg and feel confident climbing up and down. The stowing hook should be used with the open side facing up, otherwise the ladder is likely to slip off the hook which may cause injury.
Final thoughts: I have deducted a star because of the rather shallow steps and a bit iffy sliding mechanism. BUT this ladder still represent, IMHO, money’s worth. The 5 years warranty is there should it break.

Das Loch in der Decke kann recht klein sein aber die Leiter braucht im Dachboden ganz schn viel Platz, was nicht zu lesen war.
The installer found it easy to install. I find it very sturdy and easy to use. It will be for occasional use. Excellent value for money, better quality than I thought it would be. Would recommend.

Nach einer Leiter ohne Lukenklappe suchte ich also und bin bei dieser Alu Variante von Abru fndig geworden.
Die Leiter kommt in Folie geschweit, mit englischer Anleitung u. Montagematerial als kompaktes und leichtes Paket. Als Zusatzschutz sind die Endungen jeweils mit Karton umrahmt. Ausgepackt und erst einmal den berblick verschafft, sieht man, dass die Leiter das uerste Qualittsminimum darstellt. Das soll aber nicht direkt bedeuten, dass die Leiter fr meine Zwecke nicht gut ist. Dazu komme ich aber gleich nochmal.
Die Montageanleitung ist bersichtlich und es sind viele Schritte erlutert, aber dezent bebildert, was vollkommen ausreicht. Nach wenigen Minuten hat man einen Plan und schon kann es mit der Montage losgehen.
Die Leiter habe ich als erstes vorbereitet und bin anschlieend auf den Dachboden, um die alte Leiter zu demontieren, damit ich die Neue anbringen konnte. Das hat alles soweit wunderbar funktioniert. Die Kompatibilitt der Mae von der alten Luke und dem Rahmen ermglichten mir die neue Alu Leiter optimal zu montieren. Im Prinzip bentigte ich dafr nur ein paar Schrauben aus dem Lieferumfang, welche mit den beiden zuvor angebrachten Winkelverbindungen befestigt und dann am oberen Rand des Rahmens verschraubt wurden. Sogar fr mich als Brohengst, der sich quasi schon beim Anbringen von Bilderrahmen anstellt, keine groe Sache
Dass die Leiter ein wenig wackelig sein kann, habe ich bereits aus den vorhandenen Rezensionen entnommen. Beim ersten Hinabgehen der Leiter hatte ich jedoch nicht das Gefhl, dass sie unter meinen beinahe 90kg einbrechen wrde. Und auch bei den anschlieenden Testbesteigungen nderte sich meine Ansicht nicht.
Fr die wenigen Male, in denen ich oder der Schornsteinfeger auf den Dachboden klettern muss, ist die Leiter vollkommen ausreichend und die Preis-Leistung halte ich fr gut. Wer eine solche Leiter auch fr die genannten Zwecke bentigt, kann hier ruhigen Gewissens zugreifen.
Lasst mir gern einen Daumen da, wenn euch meine Rezension geholfen hat.

Estoy encantado ya que ha resuelto un antiguo problema que tenia para subir al techo de la casa. Ha sido facil de instalar. Como estara a la intemperie he pintado con zinc todo lo que no es aluminio. Funciona muy bien y el uso de pasadores da una gran sensacion de seguridad

The plastic end of the rear frame was not attached and was loose in the packaging and the plastic retaining stud was missing.

trap en mechanisme voor een luik ( die van mij zat er al alleen de trap was na 20 jaar wel op ) en zelfs een stang met haak om het luik als men er niet bij kan open te maken.
Excellent product. We haven’t installed the ladder, we only used it propped into the attic access but it worked well.

Notice en anglais, dommage que le fabricant ne prvoit pas une notice en franais! Seule chelle compatible avec les petites lucarne des combles perdus. Trs bon rsultat mais il ne faut pas tre trop lourd pour l’utiliser, ce qui est mon cas.

Easy to fit excellent instructions had to replace my old two section ladder with a three section after fitting loft boards, this was actually sturdier and the stowing guide made it retract better.
Ottimo prodotto. Semplice da installare. Io l’ho utilizzata per salire su un soppalco in legno che sta a 2,5m di altezza ed ho realizzato una botola 50×60. Veramente siddisfatto!
Attention cependant, sur la photo on la voie dplier sur un parquet stratifi, il faut savoir que les pieds sont en plastique dur, et donc trs glissant, ce qui la rend inutilisable sur ce genre de parquet. Personnellement j’ai rsolu le problme en ajoutant des bandes de caoutchouc sous les pieds pour pouvoir l’utiliser sur un parquet similaire.

por el sitio en donde esta localizada la hendidura, por lo tanto tengo que devolverla. Deberan de revisar mejor las cosas,porque me da la impresin que se ha sido usada,aunque el defecto puede ser de fbrica,pues venia con rebabas de aluminio,o como si alguien la mordiera.El aluminio un poco fino y para un uso ocasional puede valer.La devolvere y haber si la siguiente no viene con defectos y la puedo montar.

La escalera me ha sido cambiada y funciona perfecta , colocacin fcil y muy manejable en esos sitios de difcil acceso. Poda ser un poco mas fuerte , pues una vez estirada del todo parece endeble, pero la llevo usando desde el 2019 y a da de hoy va de cine, y usar la uso ms a menudo de lo que pensaba.
Tienen unos cerrojos de seguridad a ambos lados de la escalera, lo cual esta muy bien.
Instrucciones un poco escasas , solo dibujos y poca explicacin , pero se puede montar por ellas.
Contento y recomiendo si tienes una altura de no ms de 3 meros entre t suelo y el suelo del desvn.

Muy fcil el montaje, la nica pega es que los guiadores y fijaciones son de plstico, si se usa bien no se rompen.
Fcil de instalar y cumple bien los objetivos, aunque no le doy las cinco estrellas porque con la altura que yo tengo le faltaran entre 10 20 centmetros ms de largo para as conseguir una inclinacin ms segura.
Escalera fcil de montar, fcil de manejar, robusta y ligera. El paquete un poco mal, solo viene envuelta en plstico, en mi caso traa la barra de gancho casi entera por fuera del plstico, pero la escalera no haba sufrido dao alguno.

Very good . Delivery very prompt. Instructions simple and straightforward. Easy to install. Perfect for the job. Just one little point. To stow the ladder you sort of need 3 hands. Lower down I can use my knee to raise the sections but higher up you almost have to be a contortionist. It’s not insurmountable. I will attach a bungee cord to assist but from a design point of view it’s not absolutely perfect.
Easy to install if your loft floor is flush with the door, otherwise some thinking will be required.Very light and easy to use. Also, some adjustments require or ladder will fall flat in the loft. Just have to make a drop down door now.
Nice light ladder and easy to install and operate. I have the three section version. Some reviewers have said it is complicated to install but IF you follow the step by step instructions then it is a piece of cake. The ladder itself is a little bit narrow but perfectly adequate for the job and it works for me because I have a fairly small loft hatch.

Excellent loft ladder which comes complete with hinges etc so that you can modify your loft hatch to a drop down type, I also found the installation instructions to be very clear and I thought that this product is very good value for money.
