I’ll keep this short as we all know people don’t want to read an essay in Amazon reviews, you just want to know if the product is worth buying or not before moving on, and that’s fair enough, we all have time limits in our day.

The price is good, compares well to big brands i.e Samsung and the like.
This particular SSD I haven’t had issues with, though judging by other reviews it might be a bit of a gamble if you get a legitimate one like I seem to have or one in a much worse shape and have to fight a refund battle (though again, judging by reviews, amazon will side with you rather than the seller)

Personally I’d recommend it at current, but cannot speak to longevity as I haven’t used it much over a month yet.

Seems to be working fine with very fast read and write times this has greatly improved the speed of an old Windows 10 Laptop before installing the ssd the laptop used to take 4-6minutes to boot into Windows 10 with this ssd the laptop is booted fully into Windows 10 in about 30-40 seconds which is a massive improvement it was fairly easy to install however if you don’t have good hand coordination then it is a little bit tricky but other than that fairly straightforward the laptop recognised the ssd instantly and I was fully up and running with all of my software reinstalled within a single afternoon I was initially a little bit worried as I had read a few reviews saying that the ssd had failed but I needn’t have worried as I am using it 4 days a week and I have had it installed since 5th February 2021 and too date have not had any issues whatsoever with the ssd I would even go as far as saying that it was just as good as some of the top brands

I got this ssd drive as a portable storage and I’m connecting it to different machines by a SATA-USB adaptor and it works flawlessly. I have installed a full OS on this device and connect it to different machines. It works under high OS disc operations without any problems.

This was a great price for the size of ssd, do it’s easy value for money. I use this as a second drive and install software and games. Flight Simulator and other games boot fast, and from fine from the drive.

This is the 4th drive in various formats that I’ve bought in this brand and I’ve still not been let down. Seems to be exactly the the Tcsunbow brand from what I can tell, and I’ve had a 1tb Tcsunbow for 4 years now and it’s still going strong as a gaming drive. These drives have been great for me and I’ve always picked them up when on a ridiculous sale. This one was 15!! and I’m using it as a boot drive with no issues whatsoever.

Easy to fit into my laptop and cheaper than other 1TB drives I’ve seen online. Arrived in excellent condition and couldn’t be any happier.

Before ditching that old “slow” laptop. Try sticking this in it, to replace the old hard disk. I cant believe the performance boost. During lockdown the wife needed a laptop for online training classes. I had an old dell e5400 machine. It was horrifically slow,to the point I was thinking of replacing it. I basically bought this drive as a backup of the existing drive. However , after installing it then copying windows back over, it was like a new machine. oh how SSD tech has come on..!! and the bonus is, the battery life on the laptop is extended, as these use very little juice.
I was so impressed , I bought another 2 and replaced my own laptop drive and an external drive.

The SSD drive was purchased to replace the WD Blue Label 1TB HDD I had been using since conception of the Machine, 2 nearly 3 years a good reliable drive. Oops I digress. Once one has cloned ‘over’ your OS from your old mechanical drive, which can be a time consuming job in itself. I believe this can take (from what I have heard) anything from Minutes to hours, depending on the software you use to acquire an accurate cloned image. In my case it took 25 minutes and I was then using the SSD. Believe me I was very surprised. The drive is a lot faster in all respects than the HDD. The SSD hasn’t replaced the HDD completely, for example storage. The largest SSD I have seen was 8TB which is maga expensive when you can now pick up HDD’s for peanuts, I’m sure everyone has seen HDD’s with an excess of 2TB’s, so great for storage namely 4, 6, 8,10TB’s+ and as mentioned a lot cheaper than its improved replacement.
I only gave this drive a 1 star for longevity for obvious reasons, I just got the damn thing lol, but the manufacturer seems to believe in its creation (which manufacturer wouldn’t, being honest) giving a 3 year replacement or money back option. I’m deffo gonna get another SSD, maybe not the same make but this drive has shown me the differences between Pure Electronic storage and its older brother the HDD (electro) Mechanical drive.
I would deffo recommend this SSD well worth the coin, that was when I purchased it for 70+, for that you can’t really grumble. Things are a little different now. The asking price is 99.99 for that you can pick up a drive which has a reputation for reliability and the Asseno, as is said on its web site is a very new product so a big question mark over the longevity. Paying that quantity of coin for a relatively new creation has its risks when for less than the ton asked for the Asseno one could have a Samsung, a western Digital Etc. But up to now the drive has been perfect. I don’t ever recall seeing the MTBF for the Asseno, only time will tell.
    Good luck with it guys/Gals.

Drive sped up my 6 year old HP laptop which should give me another year or 2 use. Youtube videos helped bigtime as had not prised apart a laptop before. To my pleasant surprise it fired up at first attempt. Used Sabrent cable and Macrium software to clone.

Did what I wanted it to do.
Just as fast as the named branded ssds

This SSD was easy to fit and so far has been very reliable and has a fast read/write cycle. We have been replacing our HDD with SSD on all our laptops, with a significant overall improvement to startup and access for all files and programs. This drive has delayed retirement of an old Dell Laptop that has a new lease of life with windows 10

So far so good. This is my second drive now. First one is still going fine after nearly a year of use. As far as I’m aware speeds are as advertised.

Transferred my OS data to this and using it as a boot drive. PC starts up super fast compared to the old HDD. There are defo faster ones out there, but, for the price, this ticks all the boxes. Cheap SSD’s are actually pretty good value for money these days.

Great price, easy to install. This was brought to replace a failed SSD. It was a simple swap (not so simple re-install of WIN 10). Seems quick enough for the OS boot drive.

I have 2 of these Asenno ssd’s now, i have a 480gb one as a boot drive and the 2tb one as a storage drive, i have owned the 480 for nearly a year and it has preformed faultlessly in that time. both the 480 and 2tb are very quick and on par speed wise with much larger brand names see attached pics for speed test results of both 2tb and 480 drives. I don’t really care for what they look like its a drive do they work and do they work at intended speeds yes and yes, and to think i paid less money for a 480 and a 2tb then some big brands 2tb drives alone and alot less at that, but they match the speed of them. Highly recommend these ssd’s.

    Good reliable fast ssd's

As per the headline, I’m really amazed by how easy and cheap it is to get hold of SSDs these days. They absolutely transform the performance of any PC and now every time I set up a PC for someone, new or old, I put an SSD in it. Given the prices there is really no reason not to, and I’ve never really noticed any big difference between brands. Sure if you run the diagnostics I’m sure you’ll find faster ones but I challenge you to tell the different in real life.

The only question with these less well known brands is longevity and it’s hard to say about that at the moment. However there’s really onlt one way to find out and so far I’ve got no complaints.

Used for a customers laptop as he was on a budget. Easily as quick as the more expensive competition and given it a good few weeks and no word back from the customer, so I guess it is still OK! So don’t be put off by the cheaper price tag!

I waited a few weeks to write this review to see how the ssd behaved with the way I use the computer.

I use 3d, 2d and many other graphics programs that require continuous disk access, in addition to the fact that I am a gamer and therefore I have installed several clients and dozens of games.
This 1tb SSD shows no uncertainties and the transfer speeds are excellent, the value for money is really high and if you need an SSD of this range I can only recommend the purchase.

Really hope I don’t end up regretting this but so far I have been really pleased witht the performance of this drive. I was a simple matter to install. I had a 256gb SSD and needed to upgrade. Simply ghosted the 256gb onto this and job done, 30 minutes in total. Can’t comment on longevity as I have only had this a couple of months.

I was a little put off by the low price of thiss SSD. However, it went into a 10 year old laptop and gave it a complete now lease of life! Reinstalled Windows 10 from a USB and we were away. It now turns on and is fully ready to go within about 15 seconds, apps open instantly. Would I use it as my main machine – probably not – but its become a useful back-up machine, especially as it has all the connections you might need in a lecture hall (HDMI, SVGA)

This drive replaced a hard drive in an old desktop & made the computer so much faster that it’s brought it back to life. Wish I’d replaced with this a long time ago.

It is a great device. You can get more storage for only a small bit more. If your only using it for Windows operating system it’s great. Not the best for games.

windows 10 was on in less than 20 minutes, so they are fast, i bought a couple and both do exactly what they are supposed to do, how long they will last is another matter, who knows! so far so good!

I bought this to use with my Raspberry Pi 4 as I wanted to be able to use RetroPi from it.

This works very easily with the Pi when using a USB to Sata cable which I have also bought from Amazon.

I find that this makes the loading times from the SSD when compared to a microsd card much quicker.

Used numerous of these to breathe life into old laptops, have used 2 or 3 maybe now to make the laptops feel faster, paired with a caddy to put the old hard drive in the CD slot, gives more space and makes everything run smoother!

I needed a small drive for a home theater PC (HTPC) that I was building. I installed it and it worked straight off the bat. I am running a cut down version of Linux that only has Kodi installed (LibreElec) with an AMD A8 processor and 8gb of RAM. Boot time is about 10 seconds so very happy indeed.
