This is a lovely little fire, exactly what I needed in my conservatory. The panoramic view of the fire looks very cosy and, although I bought it for the log effect, the fan heater warmed up quite a big room very quickly when I tried it out. Another reviewer said it costs about 34p an hour to run the heater and a few pence per hour for the log effect.
There’s no noise at all from the log effect (my older style one in another room is a bit noisy after being on for a while). The fan heater isn’t too noisy either.
The only minor drawback was that the stove door is kept shut by magnets at the top and bottom. The bottom one didn’t work and so there was a slight gap at the bottom of the door. This was easily fixed by adding a small magnet of my own, which you can’t see when the door is closed.
I ordered the fire on a Tuesday and it was delivered very well packaged on the Thursday.
Very pleased with my purchase and would definitely recommend.
This fire as a lovely red flame glow and the heater underneath throws some great heat out and it is controlled by the thermostat so when it reaches the desired temperature it shuts down/starts again all by itself.
hope to have a log fire soon because of fuel cost got this to see us through for the time being.

I bought this to fit into an old cast iron grate, obviously I had to remove the front bow section to push it back but it doesn’t look out of place & looks lovely & warm even without the heater on.. Heats up the room quickly, & lovely all round view!

As seen in the photo, it looks good and, although mainly for providing a focal point to the room, we were very glad of its heat output when our central heating failed for 4 days?!! It is in quite a large room with 9.5 feet ceilings but with the door closed and curtains drawn, allowed us to have use of the room despite below freezing outside!!
I absolutely love this little fire/heater. The flame affects make the room feel lovely and cosy. The heater is very effective too.
Heats the room up quickly even on the lowest setting and looks nice with only the flame effect. Just wish it had a remote hence 4 stars but otherwise very pleased with it.
I bought the fire to replace an old gas fire , not yet removed the old fireplace is being replaced along with the fire in new year . the new electric fire will look nice once the new fire surround has been done .

The fire is fab and looks amazing but was surprised how cheaply made it is for the price I paid.
Being able to see the flame effect at the sides was a plus. The fire itself looks good and provides moderate heat.

This little fire is beautiful. Even on these summer nights I like to put the ‘glow’ on to add atmosphere to the room and it’s great to have the flame effect without having to also have the heat. I would recommend it as being terrific value and an aesthetically pleasing addition to any room.

The fire looks amazing but alas the dimensions on amazon said width 53.5 but with overhang it actually measured 59 so unable to go into hearth so will be returning it and getting one that fits the opening

It looks like it’s made from cast steel, but it’s predominantly constructed from lightweight materials, making it really easy to move around. The semi-circular shape means the log and flame effect is visible from any point in the room.

Not cheap looking, it actually looks the part.
I’ve added a faux plastic flue pipe I picked up for 20 and it just sets it off perfect.
