J’approuve, on peu lire les mangas dessus naviguer dans l’image. Elle ralentit un peu dans ces actions de zoom et dplacements dans les SCAN de manga, mais ca reste satisfaisant pour le prix.

A rugged case with a kick stand and no cover blocking the display. Perfect!

This was another gift purchased for someone and 8 think it was a good deal and will serve her purpose. It has a kickstand on the back which is nice to free up hands.

I think that it performs the main things it seeks to do pretty well. When flipped out, the stand does not slide on a table. The actual components of the stand seem a little flimsy, but the magnets hold everything in place very well. So much so that they can be used to hold the whole device to a metal surface if the leg of the stand is opened parallel to the device.

There’s only one reading angle which is ok, but I think it would be more optimal for most situations if the angle was slightly lower as when I sit at most tables and read, the device faces more so at my neck than my eyes. This is a very minor complaint. Another minor complaint that may or may not drive you crazy (as it does for me) is the lip of the bottom edge which, as you can see in the close up photo, bows out slightly. I’m fairly certain that this was just a design oversight caused by the cutouts for the power button and charging port. I see it all the time and cannot ignore it, but if that’s not the kind of thing that would bother you then it shouldn’t be an issue.

The fabric back feels nice but attracts particles. It is not as grippy as I would like it to be but it’s not something I view as a big downside. It is a little hard to find a comfortable finger position on the back because of how the stand takes up so much space. As you can see from another photo, the stand does not fold flush with the device. That being said, the width of the stand when closed allows for pretty good stability when reading flat on a table.

As far as comfort goes, its ok. Compared to holding the device without any case, the grooves and lines on the back and the hard edges are something that I do notice while holding the device.

I haven’t tested the drop protection and probably won’t ever need it. I’ve never dropped any of my Kindles (except the Oasis once because of my sweaty palms and the terrible ergonomics of the device). I’m sure the impact protection is better than no case, but it’s honestly not something I would consider essential like I would on my phone case.

The inside of the case has this hex pattern that absolutely will imprint permanently on the back of the device if that’s something that might concern you. I included a picture of it. That being said, most of that imprint will rub out (except along the edges) and it’s something that you can only see in the right lighting conditions.

Overall, there’s not a better case with an integrated kickstand that I could find on Amazon and (given the low price) the value is hard to bea

    Mostly good for the price.

I like to use my Kindles one-handed without a cover, since even the slimmest covers feel like they get in the way over a long period of reading. However, I also want a case for protection. I typically use clear TPU cases, but they all yellow eventually. And other black cases I’ve used feel a bit cheap. This one seems very nice. Quality is good. It actually looks good in a techy sort of way. The stand is a bonus in terms of functionality. The only negative would be that the stand also adds to the bulk slightly – weight is increased and it feels a bit odd in my hand. We’ll see if I get used to it.
