- Question 2: Will this work with the Reolink NVR or system?
- Answer: Yes, it does. Reolink NVRs with the hardware version of N2MB02/H3MB18/N3MB01 support the smart detection/playback for the RLC-820A. You can verify the compatibility via the System Information of the NVR. You could live view this camera on your Reolink NVR with the hardware version of H3MB02 or H3MB16 under the latest firmware version.
- Question 3: Is the camera compatible with third-party software/System/NVR?

La videocamera buona ho avuto dei problemi nell’installazione e configurazione con alexa. Dopo diversi tentativi sono riuscito a configurarla ma esattamente allo scadere dei 2 anni di garanzia (acquistata il 24 agosto 2021 morta il 26 agosto 2023) ha smesso di funzionare
Geliefert wurde wie immer… quasi ASAP… da ist Amazon eindeutig vorbildlich… die Kamera verrichtet mittlerweile einwandfrei ihren Dienst… Dabei handelt es sich um die zehnte Kamera dieser Art in diesem Aufbau… gute Nachtbilder, gute Bilder am Tag… wie ich das auch schon von den anderen eingesetzten Kameras kannte… gerne wieder…
Pour la qualit d’image, c’est ok.
un point un peu ngatif, c’est que lorsque vous recevez une notification de prsence, le temps d’ouvrir l’app, de cliquer sur voir la video en directe et que la video se lance en 4G, si c’est un livreur amazon, il sera dj reparti 😉
en revanche le replay (card micro SD ncessaire) fonctionne bien. les rglages sont fins, un insecte pourrait dclencher l’enregistrement si vous ne l’avez pas bien rgl.
Un autre point important; vrifiez l’angle de vu avant de l’installer. Si vous souhaitez voir qui est devant chez vous, vous aurez deux solutions; soit voir son profil devant la porte (si trop prt c’est compliqu) ou voir la personne arriver. Mais l’angle ne permet pas d’avoir les deux. (comme la plupart des cams je suppose.)
Bonne qualit, ce n’ets pas une cam 50 balles. je recommande !
Bought a couple of these along with a DVR for work.
Once installed the picture quality is excellent, 4K and even the night vision is pretty good. I’ve turned the brightness up slightly which helps with that but customer who have seen them have commented on the picture quality. Have a mix of these and the 5mp ones and all work well.

I bought a ethernet (RJ45) crimping tool/kit, watched a youtube video on how to use it and to prepare the cable ends. I bought an ethernet drum roll of 100m so had plenty of cable to practice on but only used about 1m and four RJ45s connectors before I got it right so I was confident when doing the 30m cable. I would recommend you do the same if you want to do it DIY. It helped me get it done right the first time and if about 10 minutes for both ends.
I will be buying another reolink camera soon as the quality is great, app is easy to use and features are really good.

Questo il secondo impianto che acquisto… Questo dovrebbe gi spiegare cosa ne penso. Reolink realizza prodotti di qualit altamente performanti. Dietro mio consiglio lo hanno acquistato anche parenti e amici. Facile da installare e configurare, ottima anche l’app per la gestione a distanza.
Et je ne savais pas qu’elle avait un micro, ce qui permet d’entendre ce qu’il se passe dans les environs direct de la camra !!
Je pense en commander deux autres pour finaliser la surveillance vido de mon domicile !!
Et petit dtail qui est sympa, Reolink fourni une ribambelle d’autocollant vinyl, pour indiquer que le domicile est sous vidosurveillance, dans une demie douzaine de langue diffrente !! C’est sympa 🙂

Se escludo l’accensione dei led per la visione notturna (per problemi di rifrazione e visibilit della telecamera) non si vede praticamente nulla. Anche una semplice fototrappola in genere consente una buona visione notturna senza che si accendano i led. Per il resto ottima qualit delle immagini diurna ed ottima l’app per la gestione a distanza. Molto facili il montaggio e l’attivazione
After years of Anti Social and Harassment this camera redeemed itself within first 24 hrs catching a verbal threat of physical violence and proving the aggressor as untrustworthy as they were making out aloud I was threatening them, some that had never happened and is now proven. I was not even aware such things had been said and that the camera had even picked this up. Having made this person aware of their threats and the fact the whole verbal assault has been recorded has resulted in this person keeping a low profile after even arguing over if I can record audio and video within my own home, how wrong was he. So yes this has proven to be a very big stick in addressing what could have become a very serious issue.
The only real letdown this camera is the IR LEDs whiteout / flood the image at night, hopefully a firmware upgrade will allow reduction in IR power output or AWB control
Acquistate per monitorare l’esterno della nuova casa, dopo un po’ di mesi di utilizzo, posso dire che sia un buon prodotto. Buona l’immagine, che si pu variare da bassa ad alta definizione, sia diurna che notturna. Da impostare sicuramente la scelta delle notifiche in base alla distanza dei soggetti (macchine, uomini, ecc.) per evitare 1000 notifiche al giorno. E poi molte altre impostazioni in base alle esigenze. Sicuramente un prezzo che un investimento nel caso se ne acquistino pi unit, ma per la sicurezza della casa non se ne pu fare a meno al giorno d’oggi, ancor di pi quando come nel mio caso si fuori casa per tutto il giorno e si vuole dare un’occhiata all’applicazione ogni tanto.
Consiglio a tutti queste telecamere Reolink. Installazione molto semplice e una volta collegato lo switch PoE di rete al router la configurazione stata semplicissima. La visione notturna nitida e la qualit dell’immagine molto buona. Devo solo verificare la possibilit di ruotare l’immagine di 90 gradi nel caso in cui il montaggio a parete anzich a soffitto.
Buona telecamera nel complesso , l’unica pecca e secondo me importante perch una 4k , che nella qualit immagine alta non funziona non so se sia un difetto della telecamera o altro,ho testato la velocit internet e sto sui 58mbps e anche la telecamera arriva a quella velocit ,ma ripeto nella qualit immagine alta si blocca sul caricamento sia in riproduzione che in live ,nulla ,il resto ok audio ,visuale ,e materiale robusto
Qualit immagine non ottima pecca di risoluzione sicuramente per quel problema di cui parlavo, interagire con il sito reolink per il problema troppo complicato per via che tutto in inglese anche assistenza
This cctv camera is the best value for money. Picture quality is great and it is still affordable. Purchased 2 of these for my house and are working great. Given it a 4 star as the locking mechanism itself is flimsy and does not feel the most secure. But other than that great camera.

Einfache Installation. Empfehlenswert ist ein Netzteil : TP-Link TL-POE150S Gigabit PoE Injector (was sepperat bestellt werden mu ) Da wird die Versorgungsspannung ber das Netzwerkkabel bereit gestellt.

Funcional y rapido de instalar y ver, solo hay que mirar que no este cerca de nada que refleje la luz infrarroja ya que eso hace que se vea mas oscuro, pero muy funciona muy bie
I’ve had a RLC-820a for almost a year now and until recently, have been deling with various annoying false AI detections (despite constant finetuning of settings). That being said, it now seems the latest firmware updates have finally fixed most of the silly false detections (more granular settings on the AI detection no doublt playing a part).
As long as you’re prepared to spend a bit of time (couple of hours) over the first week or so fine tuning the settings (in normal and IR mode), I feel you can get pretty decent results finally. Now happy enough with it that I’ve just bought another
One big area in need of improvement (Reolink if your reading!) is the process for upgrading the firmware if you are using the NVR. Even though connected to the Internet, update buttons for both NVR and cameras always just say “on latest version” when I can see updates on your website. For me this means identifying the precise model and version, downloading driver to USB stick, climbing under my stairs with a monitor and updating directly on the device. Oh yeah, and forget to unzip the .PAK files for another trip to your PC and back again! Unable to access the camera web UI’s as they seem to hide behind the NVR’s IP address. Long story not so short, the update buttons just working would be sooooo much easie
A bit of a waste of money as it’s not supported by my Qmanager nas and it defaults to the low quality stream. Nice if you have the time to fight with compatibility and installation.

Le rapport qualit-prix est plutt correct pour cette camra. La construction est en mtal mais on est loin d’une camra anti-vandalisme. En effet, il est possible de la dmonter d’une simple rotation de la main, aucun systme de verrouillage n’est prsent. Pensez donc bien la mettre hors de porte de toute personne.
La camra est tanche voir avec le temps.
La vision nocturne est bonne ainsi que le micro avec un son clair.
Le mode de dtection piton vhicule est moyennement oprationnel. Il y a beaucoup de fausses erreurs, le vent et les feuilles etc.
La camra peut tre contrle distance grce un tlphone, une tablette ou un ordinateur.
Si comme moi vous avez utilis la camra simplement avec un ordinateur sans le NVR reolink lors de la premire utilisation. Pensez bien rinitialiser la camra grce au petit bouton filaire reli chaque camra.
Pour conclure, je suis satisfait de cette camra. Je pensais partir auparavant sur la marque hikvision mais le rapport qualit-prix reolink par rapport la qualit des camras est indniable. Attention toutefois la mention 4K des camras reolink ne rivalise pas avec des marques de plus en plus haut de gamme comme hikvision, Dahua etc

Die Kamera wurde schnell geliefert. Sie ist sowohl mit der Synology Surveilance Station, als auch mit meinen Goliath IP / Dahua Innenstationen kompatibel. Und das auch schon mit der Firmware v3.0.0.117 vom 15. Mrz, mit der die Kamera bei mir ankam. Und das ohne sehr groen Konfigurationsaufwand.
Was mir nicht gefllt ist, dass die hchste Auflsung nicht ich im Browser angezeigt werden kann. Keine Ahnung ob das am h265 liegt, bzw. ob das bei anderen Kameras geht.
Hauptmanko ist fr mich aber die Hardware. Die Kamera hngt nur durch einen Bajonettverschluss in der Halterung und ist somit leicht zu lsen. Auch die Kamera selbst lsst sich nicht arretieren. Ich sehe da keine Mglichkeit das Gehuse nach der Ausrichtung zu befestigen. Sie muss also an einer geschtzten, schwer zugnglichen Stelle hngen.
Have not used the number plate recognition stuff. I have no interest in that and will leave the funky stuff to the NVR/Synology.
I really don’t understand some of the negative reviews and I have installed hundreds of cameras at friends and families homes. I now always go to Reolink since they are so well built and reliable. Not a single one of them have ever gone wrong since I installed the first one six years ago. The mounting is perfectly fine. If you install under the eaves who is going to remove it being so high up? If you install on a bunglaow, say, or lower down you must always be aware that someone could aerosol spray over the camera anyway so a lower down camera is a bunk idea anyway.
Allerdings ist die tonnenfrmige Verzeichnung sehr stark. Eine vergleichbare H.VIEW Kamera, die ich ebenfalls im Einsatz habe stellt bei gleichem Bildwinkel die Linien gerade dar. Auch eine Smartphone-Weitwinkelkamera korrigiert die Verzeichnung deutlich besser.
Zum Vergleich ist das erste Bild mit der Reolink-Kamera und das zweie mit dem Pixel 5 aufgenommen worden.
Noch zu erwhnen ist, dass sich das Bild nur um 180 drehen lsst und nicht um 90, wie es fr die berwachung eines Flurs sinnvoller wre.

Bildqualitt liegt irgendwo bei SD. Ich hab 2 andere Kameras Poe mit 1 K im Einsatz und die liefern ein scharfes Bild. Nicht so wie dieses Teil. In der Preisklasse gibt es andere Anbieter die viel besser sind!
Ich wrde es nicht weiter empfehle
Fr alle, die die Kamera nicht mit einer hohen Auflsung zum Laufen bekommen haben, habe ich den Screenshot eingefgt. Eine 4K Auflsung ist kein Problem! Dazu muss aber der Stream gewechselt werden auf H.265, dann habt ihr meher Einstellungsmglichkeiten. Bei H.264 kann nur ein qualitativ unterirdischer Stream angezeigt werden, wie in den anderen Rezensionen beschrieben. Aber wie ihr seht, durch Konfiguration lst man das Problem.
Mein NAS ist eine 920+, auf aktuellem DSM 6.x. Die Kamera hat die aktuellste Firmware aus Jan 2021.
Fr mich ein Super Preis Leistungsverhltnis, denn die Kamera macht genau was sie soll mit der Survaillance Station:
– 4k Auflsung
– Bewegunserkennung funktioniert zuverlssig am Tag und in der Nacht
– Audioaufzeichnung
– Aufzeichnung oder Zwischenspeicher auf MicroSD.
– wenn ihr nur einen Stream der Kamara nutzt, dann braucht ihr auch nur eine Lizenz der Survaillance Station
Ich stelle nun komplett auf Reolink um, fr mich vollkommen ausreichend und es funktionieren alle Features! Das geschriebene in den anderen Rezensionen kann ich nicht nachvollziehen und habe diese hier explitzit geschrieben, um das Gegenteil inkl. Screenshot aufzuzeigen.
Gute Kamera wenn man einen POE-Injektor oder einen POE Switch sein eigen nennt. Bildqualitt, Nachtsicht und Weitwinkel sind meiner Meinung nach sehr gut. Die Halterung funktioniert wenn man sie richtig einrastet. Einen Punkt Abzug gibt es da die Kamera ihre volle Auflsung nur in der Reolink eigenen App darstellt und nicht im Browser oder anderen Apps.
Vraiment top: qualit d’image, reconnaissance des pitons et des vhicules, bonne vision nocturne et enfin compatible avec le NAS. Le tout pour un coup raisonnable lors du prime day.
Kinderleichte Einrichtung und einfache Bedienung. Bildqualitt ist super. Bei Bewegungserkennung auf hchster Empfindlichkeit wird ein kleiner Hund nicht erkannt. Bei Mensch funktioniert und Nachricht kommt 30-60 Sek. Verzgert an.
Zugriff auf die Aufnahme kommt auf die lesegeschwindigkeit der Karte an. Nach einer Woche knnte die SD Karte nicht mehr gelesen werden.

great camera system i did have some issues with the remote access but reolink support were amazing and very professional in sorting out the problem
Great picture quality and easy installation (plug&play). The person and vehicle detection works well enough to limit false alerts which was my intention for purchasing this product. You can then search playback videos specifically for any motion, people or vehicles independently or collectively, which is very handy.
The cons of this product:
1) I connected these products to the 8 channel reolink nvr – it turns out if you want to use the time lapse function then you need to connect the cameras to your router to use that functionality and then find them on your network to add them to the nvr – a bit arse about face – I did request on a support ticket to reolink they add the time-lapse function to the nvr.
2) The clip feature (a pinch and drag zoom function for the stream) always seems to revert to low resolution. I can’t clip in high resolution. My old cameras (D800) could clip in high resolution.
Besides those teething issues, which hopefully get resolved, this is a good product.

Questa reolink con video in 4K per risultata essere la migliore per i seguenti motivi:
– qualit costruttiva ( molto pi compatta, per capirci non d l’effetto di un faro puntato addosso come le classiche bullet cam, ad esempio la versione 5MP mi sembrava proprio la cam che trovo quando entro nella mia banca)
– qualit dell’immagine ( molto pi dettagliata e luminosa rispetto alla 5MP, c’ un abisso con quella della RING in cui tutto pixelato)
– funzione di rilevamento (il rilevamento non precisissimo, ma questo difetto ce l’hanno tutte le cam)
– gli infrarossi funzionano alla grande e la cam riesce ad identificare i movimenti anche a diversi metri di distanza (io ho provato fino a 5/6 metri, la telecamera della RING invece mi rilevava il movimento non oltre i 3 metri di distanza)
– il software per pc e l’app sono ok secondo me. Sarebbero comunque graditi alcuni miglioramenti, ma credo che presto li faranno (ad esempio, nell’ app, aggiungendo alle notifiche un’ immagine di anteprima del movimento rilevato, nella versione desktop invece ogni tanto si blocca la schermata ed occorre cliccare sull’icona dell’ingranaggio per far ripartire lo streaming a video)
L’unica pecca secondo me l’assenza dell’audio bi-direzionale (cio puoi solo ascoltare, non presente una cassa di uscita audio sulla cam per emettere ad esempio un suono di una sirena).
Ad ogni modo la consiglio, non credo ci sia di meglio allo stesso prezzo (l’ho pagata 80 in offerta).

Pretty good kit from Reolink solid build and the software does recognise other make cameras. This camera has a clear wide angle view and can read car reg plates 20 metre away looks good to with the smaller size junction box 115mm size one don’t get the recommended size up one as it’s to large abd looks to large! For a tidy installation get the small one snd drill a couple of holes for a smooth looking installation.
Astonishing value for money. Used this camera for a few months and happy to report I’m very happy with it. The 4K picture quality and motion detection is superb. Using a 256gb sd card it records every movement there is in 4K. The only huge negative is the poorly designed mounting that fastens the camera to the wall / eves of your property. I’ve had to use electrical tape to fasten the camera onto the mount. It’s an awful useless design.
For the price its good and also comes with sd card slot.

Easy to set up, and the app is great. Just scan the QR code on the camera.
Great motion detection and image quality. Looks professional when installed design allows camera to be positioned at almost any angle. I have mine at house guttering level and quality of image is still exceptional even from that height. I’ve now bought 5 of these in total so impressed.
Cette camra est de trs bonne qualit. On regrettera simplement l’absence d’alimentation pour le prix affich, mais elle reste trs efficace une fois l’installation russie.
La qualit de fabrication est au rendez-vous ! On a un produit qui esthtiquement est bien fini, et quand on a cette camra en main, elle rassure de par son poids et les finitions.
Les premires impressions se confirment une fois la camra installe. Attention, il vous faudra malgr tout un injecteur POE ou un switch compatible. Sinon, il faudra ajouter quelques euros avec l’achat d’une alimentation.
Pour la fixation, c’est trs simple. Tout est inclut dans l’emballage. Il faudra rgler sa position manuellement.
Vous pourrez enregistrer ce que capture l’appareil sur une carte microSD (non fournie). Vous pourrez donc tre bien plus serein puisque la qualit vido est trs correcte et dtectera trs facilement les intrusions avec une vision nocturne convaincante.
EN BREF Je recommande cet article malgr un rapport qualit/prix qui n’est pas excellent non plus.

My only gripe would be this model was supposed to have better motion detection but my trees were setting it off every few minutes..
Purchased this camera as my old ones where rubbish at night. These seem good, quite clear, could definitely ID somebody at night. Picture in the day is outstanding, not really setup triggers for motion as I have them pointing in a high traffic area, so would go off all the time. I added an sd card and it’s great to access, nice and fast.
Also easy to install and a good app (use android)

Trs bonne qualit d’image de jour comme de nuit avec une vision grand angle.
Compatible ONVIF.
Camra IP fournie sans alimentation mais heureusement qu’elle est POE (Power Over Ethernet ). Il faut un switch compatible ou un injecteur POE sinon il vous faudra prvoir l’achat d’une alimentation.
Mise en service trs simple et des fonctions intressantes (vision nocturne, dtection sur 3 niveaux : vhicule, humain, animaux, enregistrement sur MicroSD non fournie ou en FTP, time-lapse et notification push ou email).
La fixation est simple mais permet un dmontage trop facile de la camra en faisant seulement un quart de tour. Je dconseille donc son installation en extrieur si trop accessible.
Position rglable manuellement.
Acces web la camra en tapant l’addresse IP dans votre navigateur.

Sehr gute Kamera. Lsst sich einfach installieren mit sehr guter Abbildungsleistung.
Keine Probleme bei der Inbetriebnahme. Vor allem dass kein Stromanachluss in der Nhe der Kamera vorhanden sein mu ist ebenfalls ein Pluspunkt.
Allerdings muss entweder ein PoE Adapter vorhanden sein, oder man kauft einen DC Adapter extra.
Easy to set up. It’s a bit bigger than expected but overall very good.
Very easy to setup and picture quality in daylight is really good. Bad points are picture quality at nightime is poor and you need some form of street light which we don’t have so have set outside lighting to stay on. Also motion zones don’t appear to work and detect movement in areas they shouldn’t. Not sure if this is an issue with the app or the camera. Overall though really positive experience and good camera
Arrived yesterday, setup was very quick to get going and both the app for iOS and Windows are great. Had a little problem with downloading clips from playback, but a quick upgrade of the firmware sorted that.
