I wish I had one of these years ago! No more draw full of batteries!

Having grandchildren and lots of toys that sing and flash and move around the carpet and floors they all take different sizes of batteries and when they need replacing you can never find one or that junk draw in the kitchen is filled with so much stuff your rummaging for ages trying to get some of the same size.

Well now there’s a solution with this Toannes Battery organiser. It stores all sizes of battery and also comes with a tester.

It’s foam compartments keeps the batteries in their own compartment keeping them safe and tidy.

It’s hard outer case makes it robust and waterproof with a full all round opening zip and carrying handle.

Great product. Only downside Is it holds nine 9v batteries and not 8… so I have a gap as I purchased enough to fill it (not a major flaw, just worth knowing). I’d recommend marking the top ‘up’ as if you lift it up the wrong way, some of the batteries do fall out of their holes.

Great Product. Never hunting for batteries in the drawer again!

It would be helpful if there were some indication of which way is “up” – there is always a 50/50 chance that you open it the wrong way and all the batteries fall out (which I have done). Other wise a very useful and reasonably priced addition to household storage.

Hi. Great way to store batteries. The case appears robust and well made with a good zipped closure. Room for lots of batteries of all sizes and I like the zipped pockets that house smaller items, that way nothing spills out. The battery tester seems to work but I wouldn’t rely on it. The case looks smart and I’m generally chuffed to bits with it.
Only four stars? Two things.the foam insert is not attatched to the case and there are no markings to tell you which way up the case is. With the foam not attached you can imagine what might happen if you open it upside down. Easily rectified but still

This is great and the battery tester is spot on
The only bad thing I can say is the insert is floppy and could do with being firmer.
But I’m pleased with it all my batteries in one place

A much safer way to store batteries in this battery operated world. Keeps positive and negative terminals apart. Greatly reduces the chance of battery induced fires in the household.

Tanness 140 Battery Organiser Storage Box Case Bag with Battery Tester, Fireproof and Waterproof Holder – Large Capacity for AAA, AA,9V, Flat Batteries, C and D Size Battery (Batteries Not Included)

    The product.
This is a bare box for storing batteries. It holds up to 140 batteries and all common types. It also comes with a battery tester.

    In use.
It holds a lot of the common batteries used around the home. Being made to tidy up my battery supply with this has been a great exercise. I now know here they are and how many of each I have.

    Overall.
A useful box with battery compartments. It has helped make an untidy person today. I know where all my batteries are now.

I used to keep all my batteries in a Tupperware container and in small bags. It was all messy and unorganized. Finally I now know and see where things are.

The only flaw is the space for the very small batteries like the ones for the watches. I still need to put them in a plastic bag to avoid them getting lost, or in a small container and then in the pockets you see in the picture on top of the organiser.

    Excellent and sturdy material.

    Highly recommended.

Now if you are like me and are a total OCD organised freak then buy this, because for years I have tried several storage ideas to try and keep everything in order and easily assessable for the Daughters as they have alot of technology and changing batteries is sort of a daily thing in our home.
This organiser is truly fantastic, it has plenty of battery slots to store all different kinds of batteries like AA, AAA, C,D, Flat Penny Batteries and more!
The case has two zip pouches on the inside also to put spare or other items to do with batteries also.
It all fits perfectly even down to my battery power tester meter.
You then can simply zip all the hard case up and nothing moves inside it is all perfectly secure!
It has made changing batteries in our house now a doddle!
Very happy and can’t believe I’ve not found this sooner! Most certainly worth it.

I have never seen anything like this in a shop before which is a shame as it’s such a good idea.

Our batteries use to be kept in a drawer and we would often lose them and then not know if the batteries at the bottom of the drawer were old so we were always buying new batteries

This organiser has slots for quite a lot of different sized batteries.
So easy to stay organised and now know that all batteries in there are new and unused.

There’s also a handy battery tester in the box so can always check the status of a battery.

This is one of the most useful products I have at home and would especially recommend it to anyone that has children as batteries in their toys are forever running out and now it’s quick and easy to replace them

I’m not sure what benefits this battery case offers the average person. If you like keeping everything organised, then perhaps it would offer you some help. To date, I’ve kept all my new batteries in a cardboard box. Not pretty but it works. By the way, it’s quite a big box as I go through a lot of batteries.

The storage box arrives wrapped in cellophane. The case is made out of silicone which gives it a rubbery fell and should be hard-wearing. The zip on the case feels a little strange because it’s not on the handle side like most cases.

The inside has a foam rubber insert with cut-outs for a series of different sized batteries. All the popular batteries sizes are catered for such as AAA, AA, C, D, PP3 and even some button batteries. Any other batteries that won’t fit can be put in one of the zipped compartments in the cases’ lid.

Included in the case is a simple battery tester. It’s nice to see the old analogue type of meter being used for display. It can test most 1.5V batteries and 9V PP3 batteries. It’s quick and easy to use.

Overall, good quality battery storage case. I hope that helps.

    Good quality battery storage case.

This isn’t something I thought I needed in my life, but now I have it, it’s really useful. We previously kept all out batteries in an old box, so having them securely stored and organised seems like quite an improvement. The supplied little tester is ideal for ensuring all your batteries are carrying a charge. At 20, it does seem a little pricey for what it is, but I’m pleased to have it.

This battery organiser is a godsend. I did not realise how useful a product this was until I owned it. Gone are the days of storing batteries in bags or cardboard. One thing I learnt in the past is to ensure batteries are stored in a way that they don’t connect. I was previously using pots but this just helped keep all my batteries in one place. I have pre-purchased around 30 or so AA and 30 or so AAA batteries for future use as well have having some rechargable ones. This case has slots to fit AA, AAA, CR 2025 and the 9V which are the main ones I use with other slots for batteries I didn’t even know existed! The case itself is a well protected hard cover which will keep your batteries safe. Inside is a foam panel with cutouts for each battery and they fit snugly and stay in place. You also get a battery tester which I used to get rid of any dud AA and AAA batteries I had. There’s 2 pouches at the top which I used for my battery charger. I’m blown away by how useful this product is and the fact I now can just keep all my batteries in one place with my tools is great. Highly recommend for anyone who has a lot of batteries at home and wants to organise and store them effectively.

    Life changer for battery organisatio

This is a lot bigger than I expected but you can fit a lot of batteries it.
I’ve got a fair few scattered in my drawer at home so it was good to get then organised and together in one place, instead of rolling around.
You can fit the smaller CR2 batteries in but you have to be careful that they don’t fall through the foam, I’ve placed them in a smaller slot to keep them easy to grasp.
As I’ve got a bit of a gap in the centre I’ve been able to put my battery charger in the box as well.
There’s 2 zippered pockets in the lid if your battery collection is way out of hand and you need some spare room for more, if this is the case, stop buying batteries!
The battery tester is a nice little option, good for if you’re unsure whether your gadget isn’t working due to dead batteries or because it’s broken.
It’s quite heavy when full and will take up a lot more room than just leaving the batteries on their boxes but I do feel a sense of achievement now I’ve organised them all in one place, how sad, lol!
Price is excellent and will keep your batteries in perfect condition, even if your home is damp.
Hope you found my review helpful

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersOf the seemingly millions of battery organizers out there most fall short in pretty critical areas. This one is the best of the bunch of the ~5 I bought. The rest are going back. Here’s what I found:

The big issue with the clear acrylic ones is that there’s no locking mechanism, so get ready to be picking up batteries off the floor for an hour if you make a false move. They seem tailored to wall mounting / never moving from one place. If you have any other use case, that’s not the organizer for you.

This one is portable, zips up, and even in transit the batteries stay organized / snug even when jostled quite a bit. The zipper is nice quality and the case is a hard case design (not military spec hard but padded more than a lot of laptop sleeves I’ve seen out there).

I also like the pockets which are handy for the occasional spare oddball battery. Batteries fit well, and with the foam you can kind of wiggle in some batteries of different sizes if you need to make room.

My only changes to this design in a perfect world would be to have a sturdier battery insert instead of the foam it came with…. partly due to the tedious process of removing all the little foam inserts from the cutouts. Also, the foam makes that the area likely first to fail. But unless you’re using a battery organizer 24/7 365, which I’m assuming is not the case, that will be many years out. And, for this one’s strengths I can manage the 5-10 minutes pulling out all the little foam fellas.

Given the nice features, reasonable price and the severe limitations of the rest of the competition this one is satisfying enough to put the subject to rest.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersThis battery organiser is great if you are like me and like everything to have a place.
It has plenty of storage options for all your batteries, probably too many now-a-days with most things being rechargeable so could be about half the size but I like the layout and the fact it comes with a battery tester is a great extra.
The case is a hard-shell case with good sturdy zips round the side and inside is the foam insert, it’s not glued down so can pop out which was a shame I thought until I pushed the cr2032 batteries in and realised there was no depth to them and they are now very tricky to get out. This is one of the small negatives that it would be better if it was glued into the bottom side and then each battery hole had its set depth. Also, a nice, embroidered label on the front and side saying batteries would have been very nice as well to give it the 56 stars.
Overall, I am not disappointed with this case as for only 15.99 its great value for money and very handy to have, the pockets in the top are perfect for my charging cables for some rechargeable ones and its well-made.

Much larger than expected and very strong too. Inside there’s a foam storage pad with sections pre-cut for various sizes of batteries. There’s also two compartments in the inside of the lid for other battery packs. The thing that I loved most though was the battery tester, I’ll admit to spending more time than I should testing if batteries I have that were loose in a drawer were still usable. I don’t have rechargeable batteries but apparently the tester works on those too.

This is one of those items you don’t realise you need until you have it and it means your batteries always have a home and it’s so easy to see at a glance what sizes you need to replace. Excellent for folk who have organisation obsessions.

If you’re anything like us, you’ll have batteries all over the place, in different drawers of the house. This can be frustrating when something suddenly runs out of power. This battery box from Tanness is the perfect solution. It’s bigger than I thought it would be, but not too big to store away in a drawer or a cupboard.

Housing 140 batteries, breaking down to 8* AAAA,8*D, 8*C, 48* AAA, 48*AA, 8*9V, 12*Lithium, and flat batteries (3v lithium – CR 2032,CR 2016,CR 1632, CR 2025. 1616/ 2025/ 2032/ 2016). It also comes with a battery tester which is really easy to use. Just grab a battery and insert it between the metallic spokes and it will give you a reading, from replace, to low, to good. It seems to be accurate. New batteries showed as new. Older batteries showed as low.

The battery box is coated in liquid silicon which is fireproof and waterproof. This box can withstand high temperatures and protect against water damage, keeping batteries secure. With two extra zip pockets inside, this features a 360 zipper outside, to open and close the box with little effort. The handle is well made and makes it easy to carry the box around the home. At under sixteen pounds (at the time of writing) it is great value for money. Highly recommended.

It was a total relief when the battery storage box arrived. I looked at my packed draw of disorganised batteries and then the neat rows of empty foam cutouts in the storage box where they were all going to go. At last a place for all the batteries of different types and a way to store and find them instantly without all that searching around in the dreaded drawer.

It was a bit like Christmas, but instead of opening presents, I was packing things away, neatly and tidily, but still with great excitement. So, you might think this is a bit over the top, but really the stress I’ve had up to now, looking for the correct battery and then to find it was partly used anyway, and now finally a solution!

The Battery storage box is such a simple but obvious idea and I wish I had thought to look for one sooner, A semi-hard clamshell zip-up case and a thick layer of padded foam inside. The foam has 140 cutouts for all types of common batteries. AAA, AA D and C cells, as well as 18650 and some flat cell batteries, to name a few. Storage is simply a matter of pushing your batteries into the cutout molds and lining them up. Soooo satisfying!

The battery box has two compartments the bottom shell with the foam layer and the top in the lid part of the clamshell, with 2 zipped pockets where I stored some essential charge leads and a few odd batteries that didn’t fit too well or were left over.

The case also has a simple but effective battery checker, for testing any battery up to 1.5V. You can also store 3.7v cylinder batteries in this case, but the battery checker will only give the correct capacity up to 1.5V. Nonetheless, this is a valuable extra for the majority of batteries are all within this low voltage range.

    Any problems?
One only… There is no up or down to the battery storage box. So when you unzip it, you don’t know if the batteries will be the right way up, or if the case will open with the foam block falling out of the lid. Mmm, I’ll just have to stick a marker on the top to show which way round to open it. A small but significant oversight of the design. Just be aware –

The direction of opening the case is a bug, that I’ll have to take a star off for, as these are honest reviews, but overall, this is a great way to safely store batteries and have them all organised in a practical and logical way. Recommended.

excellent battery storage, but no casing top/bottom indicatio

Firstly, it’s a lot bigger than I expected, but that’s a good thing as you can put all the batteries from around the house in the case. There are also two zip pouches on the underside of the top lid, so it could store smaller packaged calculator batteries or even other small items for household use, such as fuse wire, fuses etc.
It has to be admitted that sorting the batteries and putting them in the various sized holders was a lot of fun!
The battery tester was really good; a lot better than expected and certainly sorted out the old half-used up ones that we had found in various cupboards, compared to brand new.
All in all, a good piece of kit and extremely handy.

A great way of organising all your batteries – consists of a case with two zipped pockets in the lid and foam in the base with holes cut for different sizes of batteries – there’s 48 spaces for both AA and AAA batteries for example and spaces for 140 batteries in all. Other batteries can be kept in the large pockets in the lid. There is also a removable battery tester that has its own space in the base. The case zips shut securely and has a carry handle.

Very handy for securely storing your batteries, and for testing them. I wish I had one of these before.

    Great battery organise

I use quite a lot of batteries and tend to purchase them in larger quantities to save money. I put some of them away and then forget where I stored them when I want them; this sturdy box is the solution.
It was a bit larger than I’d anticipated, but I soon found out it was the right size. I searched around my home office, the kitchen and the garage, collected up all the batteries lying about, sorted them and stored them in the box.
Most importantly, all my batteries are now in the same place, no more searching, and it’s very easy to know when I need to purchase more.
There are spaces for all the commonly used sizes and two pockets in the lid that are great for button batteries.
Also in the box is a very useful device for checking the voltage of batteries that might need replacing and for the charge remaining in rechargeable batteries.
    I’m impressed.

All my batteries in the same place.

Now i normally chuck all my batteries into a see through plastic bag and then find myself having to tip them all out trying to find the exact battery i require, it’s a bit of a pain to be honest, so when i was asked to review this battery organiser and storage box i jumped at the chance.

I was surprised by its large size on opening, it will house 140 batteries in total and also has two deep zip pockets at the top of the case, it also comes with a handy battery tester. The carry handle and the zipper seemed strong and robust with the zipper working smoothly.

The foam battery holder section is completely removable and will hold a variety of different batteries from D, C, AA, AAA as well as flat batteries, they are held in firmly and won’t pop out when carrying the case from place to place. I spent a short amount of time sorting the batteries out into their different sections which is therapeutic in itself!

It’s a super case and well priced. Highly recommend it.

Can help organise and store batteries safely and conveniently.

This case is a substantial size, you will need somewhere to store it when it’s full of batteries. It holds a lot of batteries, which I think is particularly useful if you use rechargeable ones. The battery tester works well to tell you how much charge there is left in your batteries, again, particularly useful if you use rechargeable ones. The foam insert is very easily removed, and I’m not sure if I like that or would prefer it to be held securely in place. On the one hand, you can take it out and use the case in a different way, but on the other hand, it comes out easily when you are removing the batteries. Other than that, it is well made and solid (not floppy) so it should last a long time, and it’s useful to always know where your batteries are, rather than having them rolling around in a drawer. This case makes it so much easier to see how many batteries you have left, what sizes and if you need to get more.

    Bigger than expected

Our batteries have been stored in an old tea box (the type with individual sections for different tea bags) but have recently read articles that suggest storing batteries this way not only drains them but is a potential fire risk! Apparently there is a chance of batteries stored in a higgledy piggledy manner making inappropriate contacts and shorting out, which is why fire brigades now advise against storing batteries in that way. This case overcomes any possible issues of that kind.

The case is hard sided with a useful carrying handle and zip fastener that allows the case to be fully opened and laid flat. Inside the case the bottom section is made from sponge with pre-made holes to take the various sizes of batteries, including slots for tiny button batteries. The top section has two generous zipped bags that can be used to hold blister packs of additional batteries.

A huge bonus is that the case also includes a battery tester that will test AAA, AA, PP3, D and C size batteries.

Wonderful case and well recommended for everyone, not only for its organisational value (you know at a glance when you’re about to run out of batteries of any given size) but also for keeping the batteries safe and secure.

The case also comes with a battery tester. I don’t know why I never bought one before – it certainly saves all that trying batteries only to find they are fay or nearly flat

Golden Review Award: 7 From Our UsersI’ve just spent a thoroughly enjoyable 30 mins going through all our rechargeable batteries and storing them in here (hey you get your kicks where you can!) . I should have picked one of these up years ago – it’s miles better than keeping them in an old cardboard box as I was doing.
The case itself is reasonably sturdy with a handle on to make carrying it easy. Inside when you open it there is a foam tray with various shapes cut out for the main battery sizes – including a few slits to put watch type batteries in.

It also comes with a battery tester which was super useful when sorting them out. The batteries are placed in upright which is great as the way I’ve organised it is that batteries that have the positive terminal facing upwards are charged up ready to use and with the negative terminal facing up if they need charging. Super.
In the lid of the case are two zipped pockets, to put any other things in – maybe batteries that need charging or ones that don’t fit the foam cutouts.
I’m dead chuffed with this and at the current price, just shy of 15 compared to others it’s great value.
