Tefal is the best when it comes to kitchenware and kitchen appliances. This pressure cooker is well built, sturdy and heavy. Easy to use and kitchen friendly. Prices are bit high but you are paying for a premium product and expect top quality.

I bought this product at the recommendation of users. There are detailed explanations in the manual. It is really simple to use and very safe. I’ve cooked a lot of things since I bought them, and they’re both tastier and tastier in a very short time. I would definitely recommend.

Not used a pressure cooker for over 30 years and bought this particular one based on a friend’s recommendation. It’s easy to use, easy to clean and nowhere near as scary as I remember them! So glad I bought this model.
I give it 4.5 stars, the reason for not giving 5 is because of the weight, it is just too heavy.
All the rest is good, it has a good build quality, works perfectly, and it is easy to clean.
My suggestion is to buy a smaller size if you are not going to cook for a family of 6 or more people.
Cuts the cooking time by 3/4, idea for all types of meat and vegetables, Tefal is a great brand and the quality is in the product. My wife loves using it.

I bought this as needed it to be Induction friendly. My old pressure cooker, as good and trusty as it was just did not fit the bill when it came to using an induction hob. Easy to use, fastens safely, heats quickly. All in all it does what it is supposed to do.

Was dreading getting a new one, as my other I had, had for many years, and was used to it. All the new cookers looked complicated, but this one is so easy to use, great instruction book, definitely recommend this cooker.
Over 6 months using this pressure cooker and no issues. Cleans easy and has not discoloured, very happy so far. Only hope I won’t be dis-satisfied if I ever have to get replacement parts from Tefal who use to over charge.
I used to have a pressure cookers many years ago when the children were small and it was such a time saver. When I could no longer get spares for it we went back to using ordinary saucepans, now many years later I have purchased this pressure cooker and it is amazing, easy to use and very quiet. I only used a pressure cooker with my Motherinlaw and now moving into our own place I was contemplating on whether to get one as I was extremely afraid of using one and for it to be faulty or not great !
However this is my second time using it and best decision ever ! It has three settings one for meat , vegetables and steam . So easy to lock and unlock . Very simple to use and once it locks it makes a click so you know it’s been locked

I had an old fasion pressure cooker. I bought this 3 days ago and used it to cook chickpeas. It is non-stick and easy to clean.

This is my first pressure cooker and, even though I was afraid I’d mess up the food or have the cooker explode on me, it was impressively easy to use! And the food is absolutely delicious! Definitely worth the money!
Definitely worth the money! I’m Very happy with this and see it as an investment, as i am using it for nearly everything I am cooking these days. The safety lock puts me at ease as it is almost physically impossible to open the lid if not enough steam has gone out. This way, I know with 100% certainty that its not gonna blow up if I try to open it too soon.
It’s a wonderful product and it’s locking system make it safe to use.

Bought this updated stainless steel Tefal pressure cooker to replace a +20-year old aluminium version, which did not work on our induction hob. Gone is the loose weight, which you had to manually adjust according to the required cooking pressure, and often you could never find it when you needed it! Fantastic price too!
New to pressue cooking – spend some time reading instructions and looking at videos on You Tube and you won’t go far wrong.

CAN NOT COMPARE to other untis as this is my first But as far as I can tell it does exactly what it’s meant too.
Used it twice so far. It’s very good. Seems sturdy and does the job. Good value given its stainless steel, which is better than any aluminium one.

It’s a very easy to use! I find the handle very practical and it feels secure to cook. I can cook in 20-25 minutes even beans, chickpeas, beef and many more.
Great pressure cooker. Stainless Steel is important as Aluminium is not safe for cooking in as it seeps into food. Lots of safety features on this pressure cooker, its definitely not my moms old one that we were all afraid would blow up one day. Love how quickly I can get melt in the mouth beef stews again since buying this.

I have been disappointed in the past with pressure cookers, but this one is excellent, well made good qualit6 and an amazing price. I use it at least once a week for stews, puddings or soups.
Never had a pressure cooker before. This is a perfect starting one. Easy to use and clean. No complaints.
Present for Sister on birthday wish list, had about a month now. She loves it, used it 3 times per week, perfect for family of four and more. She says it’s heavy to lift and move when full but would highly recommend it.

I had a fear for pressure cookers in general, but after using this one I feel more comfortable. Lots of safety features, but what I find really frustrating is the not having an actual indicator popping up. However once you get used to its red indication the experience is smooth.
Be it meat or Lentils – it always sticks! I had to throw 2 kg lamb curry just because it has a problem. It got stuck badly just in 15 minutes. I’m sure no lamb shank in the world is cooked within 15 minutes. I tried to prepare biryani one day (without the vent on) & the lower portion got stuck poorly. I have been used Hawkins for the last 19 years (since 2000) & never got a single ptoblem in all those years. This is the worst purchase in my entire life.
Sturdy construction, instructions could be better if new to pressure cookers.

I’m used to the old fashioned pressure cooker with weights on top so was a bit hesitant with this new one. Its great. I can recommend it , good seal which is important, not too heavy and fast cooking.

but liked the look of this one so bought the Tefal and am glad I did. Perfect on all points, easy to use and clean. I really like the the pressure valve settings which are so easy to use. No scary hissing or spluttering either Good value too.

Purchased this pressure cooker to replace my ‘old’ Prestige aluminium pressure cooker. I have been very pleased with it so far. It is lighter than its predecessor and the lid locks securely in place. Very happy to date.
Pros- Easy to use and works well. Good safety features.
Cons – tiny booklet (you need a magnifying glass to read it), lack of recipes.
I made the mistake of leaving this is the box for a month and when I opened it found that a piece of the plastic was broken off ( thankfully I had some Gorilla glue). I bought the item as a returned item from Amazon Warehouse. The fact that it was broken wasn’t mentioned in the sellers description; so obviously they didn’t check the return.
Amazing pressure cooker. Very useful in the kitchen. I suggest to buy it. It’s a bit big so you must cook a big batch bit it’s perfect if you have a family.
I was so scared using pressure cooker ,because when I was young my mum had lot of problem with pressure cookers but in this quarantine I needed something quick to cook,it’s my first pressure cooker ,it’s so easy to use ,I’m very happy with cooking results aswell.i can definitely recommend.

I can cook quick meals such a bolognas sauce, chilli con carne, casseroles, stews and much more in a fraction of the time, and to top it all, they taste and look like they were slow cooked.
Things come out tender and tasty. This thing is a revelation.
I can highly recommend it. Easy to wash too…no problem. It looks like the only part that would changing is the seal, but it looks like a consumable part that you could re-order easily and cheaply.
This will be in the family for years and has made me so much more productive in the kitchen.
Tip – buy the large size (this one) over a smaller one. You can always have less in this one whereas the smaller one can’t fit more in (if you see what I mean)
Almost forgot to say- it does a great job of steaming cabbage, cauliflower or any veg for that matter.

This pressure cooker is awesome! It is so efficient as it saves so much time and energy. You can cook a whole chicken in approx 35 minutes. Not only can you preserve food by canning it ready for the apocalypse lol. You can also make bone broth in a fraction of the time so you don’t have to wait for 12 -24 hours. I like the fact it is made out of stainless steel so you can just leave it on a log burner. It has a 10-year guarantee so if it breaks… Get a replacement.

I use this product for making marmalade it was a bit tricky to use at first but managed to sort it out and after that I found it very useful and it was good for the steaming of the oranges.
Would have liked a video, to see how to use it. Found the instructions difficult to follow.

My first pressure cooker soooo good and useful. Great safety features dripped a bit in first use but once up to temperature it was golden and the price was great. This is great first pressure cooker and allows you to dial in the pressure for three different food types. Well done Tefal I can’t believe I lived with out one for so long!
I cooked my chicken soup in this and it is really great. The only feature I don’t like is the awkward lid attachment.
Great pressure cooker easy to clean and use, looks good too. Had several high dome pressure cookers before but had to change to stainless steel because of my new induction hob but glad I did. I mainly use it for soup that I make every second day and find it great, doesn’t stick to the bottom and cleans easily, like new!
I hesitated for a while between this one and it’s more expensive sibling. At less than half the price you miss out on the fancy opening mechanism and the minimum water level mark… so no biggie. This pressure cooker is well made, easy to wash and easy to use. For the price, you can’t go wrong.
Good in every way, except for daft pressure indicator, which does not rise sufficiently to be visible when pot is pressurised – you have to peer closely and see that it has moved up. Sort it out, Tefal.

A solidly built pressure cooker which I bought at very cheap price as a black Friday offer. It is very easy to use, too, and is very different from the noisy, rather scary aluminium pressure cookers of the past. I would have liked better guidelines and a few recipes with it. I had to buy a cookbook for pressure cooking. Otherwise, I am impressed by its build quality and ease of use.

It is a good product, easy to use. Bottom part is suitable to washing machine but top part is not.
Easy to use compared to my old pressure cooker but there wasn’t a book giving cooking times for the various foods!! I nearly sent it back as cooking times are so important for pressure cookers but adapted the times from my old book.

The built quality is very nice; however, the top plastic part feels slightly weaker. I use this cooker to make ox tail soup. Comparing to slow cooker, to achieve similar result — soft and tender, pressure cooker reduces the total cooking time a lot shorter.
