I love the many programmes which the lights have, so much so I bought another set.

At the time of this review these garden lights are 79.99 which is for 6 lights. Now it does seem quite expensive for just 6 but these are very durable and well made lights and they feel very expensive. They are quite heavy so won’t be blown across the garden and end up in the neighbours. I like the different light and function options. These look great around my terrace, giving a glow around the garden.

These work superb. So easy to install no electrician or electrical skills required. Look quality build too not cheap. Time will tell but so far so good

I only operate on one colour – but tried other colours whilst setting up and they were very good too. Longer than usual cable between the lights which make placement easier.

While the lights are waterproof as stated in the description the plug is not so do consider buying a waterproof box to ensure the longevity of these lights.
I absolutly love the brightness and colour range of these lights they truly do transform your garden into a palce of beauty.
You can choose the colour using the remote control which has a good range, the lights can be set on a timer so you don’t ahve to worry about turning them off each night.
Very well made with good materials and the spikes are metal so glide into the land with only a small amount of pressure.
    Well worth the money.

We have been very impressed with these lights. The quality of them seems really good and the waterproof features seem spot-on with no issues at all. They’re pretty easy to install and you have the option of attaching them or you can use the supplied spikes. The list of different functions as impressive in terms of colour and different features. Plus the timer has different options that you can see it. And top of that she also has the remote control which allows you to control it from the comfort of your home although you will need to make sure you have a clear line of sight to the receiver. Overall very impressed and no negatives at all.

We spend a lot of time in our garden and enjoy having a selection of lights so when I saw these mains powered garden lights I was so excited to order them and jumped at the chance.

    They arrived packaged well and securely and you receive the following;

    6 x 3W RGB Garden Spotlights (IP65 Waterproof)
1 x BS Adapter (NOT Waterproof)
    1 x Remote Control
    6 x Round Gasket
    6 x Spike Stand
    6 x Hexagon Screw
    1 x L-shape Wrench
    1 x User Manual

They were easy for my husband to install and we have installed them around our pond and they look absolutely amazing around it.

You have 16 beautiful solid colours to choose from, 8 modes and you also have a timer function of 4, 6, 8 and 24 hour too which is so handy. The lights are really durable, weather/frost/heat proof and has a decent length cable too.

You can instantly tell what excellent quality these lights are which does reflect the price tag of 79.99 however they are worth every single penny. Highly recommended and well worth 5 stars.

This set of RGB garden spot lights is designed for outdoor use but they are not bad to be used indoors. Lights are well made and comes with IP65 waterproof certification. Waterproof connectors are secure and safe. This is a set of 6 lights with connectors and total length of the cables and lights is 20M which is a decent length to cover a big area.
Comes with a remote control to change colour, modes and set timer. Receiver is attached with power adapter. Remove is almost the same which you get with strip lights.
Overall a great set of color changing lights for garden. At the time of review this product was available for 71.99.

I thought 6 lights will not be enough even for our little garden but how wrong I was. The light is so grand that even having 3 will still look enough and gorgeous. It totally transforms our garden. It’s well packaged and easy to install. You just need to attach the stakes if you wanna stick them to ground as an uplight and make sure that all connections are screwed tightly. Plug and boom!! So many colours to choose and lighting mode. I really love it. Garden looks expensive. Highly recommend this if you have a big garden. The cable is really long and you can space them out as far as the cable can do. I have connected them to a wifi plug to
Automate so it comes on and off automatically in the night. It definitely not cheap but it’s good quality.

    Totally Transforms Our Boring Garde

    First impression:
I have always been impressed by lights from this manufacturer and this kit is no exception.
All connectors have O-ring seals to keep out the weather. This weather-proofing also includes a silicon washer inside the light housing where the diffuser screws into the light body. Cables have strain relief where they enter connectors. The mains unit has its own connector so that this can be swapped by the manufacturer for sale in different countries. The plug carries all the certification logos including CE and UKCA.

The lights are RGB and the remote control allows you to take full advantage. Some colours have the tiniest bit of flicker in them, but I am being picky and it is not noticeable outside. The lights are bright and look great set up illuminating the garden border.

    Packaging and delivery:
The kit was delivered quickly and comes in a cardboard box, with a minimum of throw away plastic to protect the parts in transit.

    Installation:
The kit comes with ground spikes with thumbscrews and washers to attach them to each light bracket. It is also possible to provide your own screws to attach the brackets to fencing.
The power plug is too large to fit in the average outdoor socket, and also comes with the control unit too — this part is obviously not waterproof. The plug could always be installed in a larger outdoor rated power box, or on an indoor socket if you have one in a convenient place as the cable is a total of 5m to the first light.
Position the lights where you need them and adjust the angle of the lights within their brackets using the supplied allen / hex key.
Select the light pattern that you want. These are detailed in the instructions and can be set from the control unit or the remote control. The remote control must be pointed at the rubber mode switch on the in-line control. I personally like the fade option the most, set to a slow speed.

    Pros:
    Metal ground spikes.
Many light patterns, with RGB control through the light unit, or the more comprehensive remote control.
Good attention to waterproofing should allow the set to last.
Reasonably good wire lengths. These cannot be too long as you loose or waste power over long cable runs.
The pattern / mode selected is preserved between on/off cycles. This seems to be even when you unplug the unit. I intend to run them using home automation plugged into a remote-controlled socket.

    Cons:
None really. The lights are not extendable, which some might complain about, but that’s to do with the capacity of the power supply, and if it was over-specified, and you didn’t need the extension then you would be paying for extra capacity you are not going to use. If you need a longer run then buy two sets and place the power outlet half-way along the run and have one set going in one direction, and the other set going the other way.

    Conclusion:
Shame I couldn’t give them 6 stars really. I see light sets claiming to be weather proof, but this set actually steps up and does what it says. They might be a bit expensive, but you get a lot of functionality and I think that this set will still be going long after other light sets have failed. Well recommended.

Quality set of garden lights. Attention to detail and weatherproof.

These lights are outstanding! I’m absolutely thrilled to bits with them. I found them easy to install into my garden and they are very easy to use and aren’t complicated at all. What I really like about them is the quality of the lights and how bright and beautiful they are when they are lit up. They’ve really changed the look of the garden and I can’t wait for summer parties with them on! The lights have a really decent length on them (20M) so I’ve been able to put them where I wanted to as they are mains powered so needed to start at that point. The remote control is easy to use and very straightforward, my favourite feature is the timer control as I know I’m not wasting energy. The colours are just wow! So many to choose from and I adore how they illuminate my garden. The spikes go into the ground easily and are good at securing the lights, I’ve also been able to get decent angles on the lights to light up different areas of the garden. I like that the lights have been made well, they are strong, sturdy and durable so I know they’ll last a long time; they are also weather proof and water proof so I’m not worried about them being out all year round. I’m impressed with the lighting modes these lights offer too, there are 8 to choose from and I like to have them on fade the most for now but at Christmas I’ll have them flickering i think! I haven’t encountered any issues with these lights and I think they are superb value for money. I have no hesitations in recommending them.

The length of the mains cable flex between the plug, and between each of the spotlight modules is plenty sufficient to give flexibility in placement. The prismatic textured diffuser does a great job at creating an even spread much larger than the LED alone would, and the heads of each spotlight feel like chunky blocks of aluminium and work well to keep the led module itself from overheating so I’m really confident in recommending these to create some lovely garden feature lighting. Each module can have a different colour but it seems you can only have them all on or all on, but this is fine for me. The remote control is very generic but certainly functional.

    Impressive for garden feature lighting

I ordered these spotlights for the bottom of my garden which is very dark and gloomy.

    Arrived in smart branded box.

Very well made metal industrial garden RGD and Cool white lights.

Lights display 16 colours made up from Red, Green, White, Purple and Orange spectrum with 9 different modes of operation my absolute favorite is twinkle effect.

No issues with installation, just plug in and play. Extra long lead 20 meters attached to a UK plug. You can either use attached spike and slot into the ground or attached to wall using fixings provided.

Spot lights are amazingly bright and have open up the bottom of my garden to a new magical Kingdom. They are that bright I will be looking out for them on google maps.

Overall, these are top quality RGD or Cool white spot lights supplied with a remote control to set to you wish. Great value for money.

    I would recommend this product.

My wife loves garden lights and this comprehensive set of spotlights by B-right are just her type of thing. This set has six spotlight units that can be fixed with ground spikes if you need to move them around, or they can be more permanently mounted on a fence or wall for example. My wife wanted to light up our garden path so used the ground spikes in the lawn at one side of the path — the set is fairly straightforward to install, you just need to connect each spotlight to the power unit in the order of one to six. The set is waterproof to IP65 but the power unit is not — so make sure it is plugged into a suitable mains supply where it won’t get wet. These spotlights have 16 colours, 8 lighting modes and 4 timer options — there is also a memory function that remembers the last setting used. The set features a convenient remote control that needs to be in range of the inline receiver box to work, but the receiver also has a control button should the remote control fail to work or become lost. Currently around seventy-two pounds from Amazon this B-right garden lighting set offers quite a lot of features for the price and the build quality is pretty good too — the only possible weak link is the somewhat generic remote control which is rather typical with this type of lighting product. However, as the set could also be controlled directly without using the remote it deserves five stars for what it offers at the price.

Now here are a really great set of garden spotlights. They have clearly been manufactured from premium and high quality components and they feel incredibly solid and robust. Unlike other cheaper spotlights available within the marketplace, these lights from B-right have been constructed using full die-cast aluminium casings rather than cheaper ABS plastics. This means that not only does this ensure this lighting set is highly durable but also it should be corrosion resistant and much more hard wearing for permanent outdoor usage. The lights are IP65 rated too so should easily be able to withstand all the different elements the great British weather will throw at them. What’s more is that the manufacturers are clearly confident enough with the quality of their product to offer you a full 30-day money-back guarantee and 12-month replacement warranty. That’s not too shabby.

The lights come supplied with a mains adaptor as opposed to being solar which is far better for more permanent outdoor installations. They have a decent length cable to them at a total of 20 metres however, you are able to purchase a separate extension lead should they not quite be long enough for your needs. Do note though that the manufacturers state you are unable to daisy chain these lights to a second set. That’s a bit of a shame but not the end of the world either to be fair. I fully intend on purchasing a second set along with the extension cable to reach further into my garden. Bizarrely you can daisy chain multiple extension leads though? You will also need to ensure you use a weather proof outlet socket as the plug and adaptor for this unit can’t be exposed to rain and elements as neither is waterproof.

The distance from the mains plug to the first spotlight is approximately 5 metres and then each subsequent spotlight is spaced 3 metres apart from the next. The lights themselves are extremely bright and more than adequate enough to fully light up any area of your garden. Each individual light contains a 300 lumen Cobb chip. Not only that but this particular set allows you to choose a colour as opposed to being purely white lighting. Colours available include blue, green, purple, orange, red and of course, plain white as well as a few more. In fact there are 16 colours available in total! One slightly annoying point to note however, is that you cannot configure each light separately. This means you don’t quite have full control over the colour palette for all 6. What you do have though is a couple of options at your disposal, so you can either elect to have all lights displaying the same colour, or chose different colours to highlight different areas of your garden in batches of two (i.e 3 sets of colours displayed in pairs across all 6 lights). There is also an option to have all six lighting up a different colour too. That’s really cool and allows for a greater degree of personalisation albeit with some limitations.

The lights can be set on a fixed timer or continuous use with options for 4, 6 and 8 hour timers as well as the permanent on. When switched off the lighting remembers the last setting and will automatically return to that colour again on restart. Even if you were to leave it for a few weeks for say a holiday it would still restart at the last know settings. There is a small mode button located on a junction box a few feet from the mains outlet which controls all this as well as a mode choice too. A bit like Christmas lights, you can choose from 8 different modes which include permanent on, slow and quick fade and pulse, a wave mode and a almost seizure inducing strobe mode which I would advise against using. I didn’t personally bother with any of these as I wanted a permanent light on option for my installation, but it may be of use for some.

Each light comes with a separate metal spiked ground peg. Finally – a fully metal set. I can’t begin to tell you how many cheaper plastic spikes I have broken over the years. With hindsight I wish now I had invested in a metal set to begin with rather than trying to save a few pounds on an inferior option. Each spike has a good length to it at just over 6 inches and the metal swivel mount head means you can position and articulate the lights to any angle. Of course you don’t need to use the spikes at all and can directly attach or mount the lights to a fence, wall or other structure using just the bare mounting head bracket. Each light itself measures 1.6 inches in height by 2.5 inches in length so they are nice and compact and don’t look like unsightly great big lumps poking out of the ground or hanging from your eaves. I personally think they look really stylish and subtle but provide a huge amount of light and therefore attention on any given area you are trying to showcase.

Last, but no means least, this lighting rig also comes supplied with a remote control for ease of use. There is a plethora of buttons and choices available for you to choose from too and every aspect of these lights can be changed via the remote. Overall I think for the price you pay (71.99 at time of review) these represent good value for your money. Aside from a couple of minor niggles, as highlighted above, I really struggled to find fault with these or anything to dislike. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this set to anyone. They are super sturdy and robust, and have been manufactured to a high quality using only premium parts and pieces. A great product at a very reasonable price. Perfect!

I got these lights for my back garden. There are 6 lights which can be either attached to a wall/fence or spikes to go in the lawn, I chose to just put in my grass along the boarder which stops me mowing over the wire. They are good as the lead is 20m long which is a lot and it’s 5m from the plug to the first light which is a handy distance. They are well made and look really nice. There are 16 colours to choose from and then other settings like strobe, waves and twinkle. I like the twinkle. It’s an added bonus for me that you can set a timer for 4,6,8,24 so you can decide how long they stay on without forgetting you have them on!. These lights also come with a handy remote which makes it easy for you to choose the desired settings you want for the lights. We are very happy with these lights and love the different colours / effects. Brilliant lights!

Priced at 79.99 for these garden lights is extremely exortionate in my opinion , although these look lovely – I don’t think they deserve the price tag! But in terms of the actual product, these are very easy to fit and install. Good quality lights which look amazing in the night – lovely RGB lights!! Also waterproof too with low voltage which is a plus. Overall would recommend.

These lights are really quite bright for their size and are made of metal.
There are 16 solid colours and 8 modes. These are controlled with the remote control but there is a button on the reviewer box that allows you to go through different colours and modes. The remote does have to be pointed directly at the receiver and at a distance of less than 5 meters.
I do like that as well as using with the ground spikes, you can also attach them to the wall or fence with the adjustable bracket.
Unfortunately you can’t add another set to these but you can get an extension lead.

This is a well thought out set of spot lights that are powerful enough individually to light a room and therefore are capable, as a set, of doing what the product images suggest they can outside. A 5 metre lead length to the first spot light sounds good, but isn’t enough in reality unless you can plug them into an outside box; you need to keep the plug inside and get it outside, so buying an extension cable is a likely necessity for most of us.

I have the spot light pointed at the house as we are visible from a distance and I think it looks nice. I will move them shortly to dot around plants as the house lighting effect is something I will keep for Christmas, but the shrubbery will be a longer term thing for us to enjoy on the other, private side of the house.

The spots are robustly constructed from a good mix of metal and plastic; they should prove to be durable. The spikes for locating the lights are strong. The lead is not too chunky to get underneath a door to go outside, and the whole thing can be controlled from inside using a remote control with lots of instructions provided for its use.

I like the lights. They are well made and powerful enough to produce a good display outside.

  21. AdelaMansergh says:

I love the LED lights, they are similar to solar spot lights but they run off one lectric plug. The plug needs to be indoors but the wire and lights can be outside. The cable is very long and I trapped in through the window as it was thin enough. The plug is quite chunky though and didn’t fit in the 4 way block I had so had to use it’s own plug.

All the lights dasiy chain to each other. The remote control sensor is on the wire so you might have to use the remote inside where the plug is. Using the remote control was simple, its a thin one and you can set colours, timers and even flashing effects.

They are low voltage and LED so they use very little electric which helps when prices are so expensive at the moment.

To mount them thety screw onto the spikes which go into the ground and you can angle them to wards things like walls and plants. There is plenty of wire between each light as well so you can spread them out across the garden.

You get everything you need in the box including a remote and this is great value for money and since its powered by electric it does not matter if you get no sun to recharge them as they work anyway.

Makes flowerbeds and trees look great at night.

Good thick black paint job with no major defects ! The most important thing is the lights specs and features :this light kit provides a wide array of bright colours and many different patterns , really a lot and noone should be disappointed even for a second that good.Overall material quality is very good aluminium and the rubber specification is at this same great level.I can recommend this set as see it worth it.Thanks.

Not bad at all for £70..I would even risk saying I am genuinely impressed..

These are ideal specimen lamps thanks to their tiny size.
To give you some idea of size, each lamp will fit in the palm of your hand ( minus the spike ).
The cable length is fantastic, more than long enough for my needs and a welcome change to others.
The plug adapter is quite chunky but fits easily inside my dry box.
The credit card remote has so many options to chose from. My favourite is to have each bulb lit in a different colour. I could have them all the same colour or choose from various effects such as fading, jumping and strobing.
No Wi-Fi option but I have connected the set to a SmartThings plug and created a routine that suits me.
There is a basic timer function built in but I prefer this option more.
Installation and setting up is easy but I found the bolt for the ground spikes difficult to grasp inside the small fixing brackets despite them having a grippy round plastic head.

    6 x Spot lights
    6 x Metal ground stakes
1 x Mains plug and receiver
    1 x Remote control

    These look spectacula

These lights aren’t just good for gardens, they are also good for indoor usage as spotlights. When spread out along a garden the lighting is bright enough that you can appreciate the lights but when all fastened onto a light shelf, they come into a world of their own.

The included remote adds the ability to have different colours on at once. It also gives you some effect settings like fade, jump, twinkle, strobe. I will add that there is a timer on the remote too, so you don’t need to leave them on all night. This has settings of 4, 6, 8 and 24 hours.

As for colours of the lights, you do get a good selection of 15 preset shades and one white option. I will add that the white is the kind of white created by mixing all the colours at full brightness rather than being a dedicated white. The only thing letting the lights down is the lack of a brightness option. It would have been good to use the lights on a lower brightness in order to maximize the functionality of them.

I did initially attach these to a spotlight shelf to see how bright they were and when they are all in close proximity to each other they really are bright enough to use as spotlights. As for in the garden, they add a nice ambient glow to smaller areas. Should you have a bigger garden you may want to consider a couple of sets to make sure you have enough lights.

Although these would look nice surrounding an area with a hot tub or pool, please do not submerge these in water. They are IP65 water resistant so can withstand water getting on them but not submerged. I can’t stress how important it is to pay attention to your IP ratings on “waterproof” electronic devices. I advise against anything rated less than IPx8 as it is only the last number that holds weight in terms of water. X7 is protected against shallow immersion, usually temporary, X8 against long term immersion upto a certain pressure/depth and IP69K for steam cleaning(high pressure, can penetrate the seals easier)

Anyway, back onto topic – These lights are good all round but with there only being 6 to a pack, it’s advisable to choose wisely on placement or have a second pair on hand. When all said and done, I would happily recommend these. They do everything they say on the product page and more.

B-right Garden Lights Mains Powered, 20M Garden Spotlights with Remote Timer 16 Colours

This is a very good piece of outdoor lighting kit that can totally change the look of your garden in the evening, a dull and dark garden can be transformed into something magical, a few hours work of positioning these lights and you can sit back and enjoy the fruits of your hard work.

The lights come supplied boxed, inside you will get the following:

    6 x Spot lights
    6 x Metal ground stakes
1 x Mains plug and receiver
    1 x Remote control
    1 x Instructions

The lights offer an IP65 weatherproof rating which makes them totally suited for outside use. The outer frame is made from metal and feels like a solid bit of kit, the removeable lens cover has a silicon seal which will ensure no water gets inside.

The cable length is plenty offering 5m of cable from the plug to the first spotlight, this allows for the possibility of plugging this into a socket indoors or for greater positioning possibilities in the garden. The length of cable between each light is 3m with the opportunity to extend the cable length by purchasing an extension cable which is available in the following formats and on Amazon:

B-right 2X 2M Extension Cables for Outdoor Garden Lights

B-right 2X 4M Extension Cables for Outdoor Garden Lights

The spotlights are RGB and thus can produce some striking effects when aimed at trees and bushes. Each light produces 300LM and consumes 3W of power, the operating voltage is 12V DC.

The receiver box which is connected to the mains cabling has a button which allows you to select various effects from a static colour to varying modes with flashing, fading etc. The remote control will allow for all these effects to also be selected, you can’t control each light individually but I’m sure, using the preprogrammed selections, that a certain mode can be suited for most peoples needs, so you can have each light having a different colour but this is based on the built in program and not individual requests if you know what I mean, don’t say Harry!

A timer is available, using the remote, and the lights will switch off after 4, 6, 8 or 24 hours, this isn’t a repeating timer. Also, you can’t adjust the brightness level, it’s fixed I’m afraid.

So these are installed in the ground via the included metal ground stakes, you could attach the light bracket to a wall but you would need to supply your own screws and wall plugs.

The remote control must be insight of the receiver unit for it to work effectively as it’s based on infra red technology and not radio.

Overall, this is a good quality set of garden spotlights, competitively priced also at 69.99, similar products are much higher on Amazon at the moment.

    Very happy to recommend.

This is a good light kit if you want to add some colour to your garden.

The cables and fittings are all quite solid and feel robust. It’s rained a few times and the lights still work fine. I’ll have to fix the cables to a fence tough to stop foxes chewing them.

The Lights provide a wide array of bright colours and patterns , it’s not subtle. The sensor for the remote is near the power unit and it needs line of sight to work. It would be better if they could be hooked up via wi-fi , but I’m sure that kind of feature will come soon enough.
