Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersI was getting a stuffy nose every night when sleeping. Bought this to see if it would alleviate the issue. It does and have only woken once with a slightly blocked nose since I’ve been using it (about a month).
As it always displays the blue light it’s hard to tell if it’s doing much. However, tonight I managed to burn my dinner in the microwave. Moved the air purifier to the kitchen and it went into full overdrive (red light) while it cleaned the air. So I’m more than happy with this purchase.

So pleased with this purchase. I have it on auto & It’s super quiet unless it detects something strong in the air and then goes a little crazy for a while. It 100% works and I have noticed less dust.

I bought this after we had some work done in our flat and the reinforced concrete dust was everywhere, and I didn’t fancy breathing it in. Now I just run it overnight on sleep mode, which I find very quiet and pleasant. It definitely reduces dust (a bit), and makes me feel better having the windows over the High Street open during the day, knowing we can filter at night.

I’ve had this air purifier for just under a year and it does the job brilliantly. As you can see in the image, the filter on the left is the new one and the filter on the right is the old one. I don’t have this turned on 24/7 hence my decision to replace it at 1 year.

Turn it on half an hour before you go to bed at full and then dial it down to sleep mode when you get into bed. It has kept my hay fever under control this year.

    Works brilliantly

We had both experienced sleeping problems, one because of severe asthma and one due to more generalised sensitivities. This has done the job and we are both sleeping much better.

I have suffered from dust allergies all my life, and the winter season with radiators on always gets me. Since having this for about 2 weeks I have had no sinus troubles at all. Completely gone. It’s really impacted my life. I like the functions, sleep mode is quiet, and it’s stylish and fits well with the room. My air feels fresh and nice to breathe in. I’d recommend this to anyone. I’ve never had one before so don’t know how it compares but am certainly not wishing I bought a different one.

There’s definitely a difference to the air quality in my bedroom since using this, but to be honest I knew that would be the case because it’s my second one. I already have one in my son’s room to help with his hay-fever and dust allergy, which has made a noticeable improvement. The fact that it’s drawing in air and filtering it also has a massive effect on the amount of dust in the room (much less).
I think to be effective it really needs to have a good few hours on full, which also helps to circulate the air in the room, which is probably necessary.
Certainly a good choice for me.

Golden Review Award: 4 From Our UsersI have a dust allergy and get a red, itchy rash on my face when I come into contact with too much dust. This is quite a big air filter which is designed for smaller room and promises to filter out dust from the air. The machine is easy to set up and although the fan is not silent it is quite quiet and I have been able to run it 24 hours a day. I ran the purifier in my bedroom and after a few days I started to notice a real difference in my rash. I am really please with this machine. There is a fire-filter which can be washed but the main filter needs to be changed every 6 months of continuous use, I guess if you can pro data this if you only run it during the day or night. The replacement filters are quite expensive so please check the current price and factor this in before buying this great air purifier.

Great range of modes and night mode is quiet. Works well in bedroom and looks good. Shame they can’t get more power in this size though as would be good to have in lounge and technical reviews suggest the active carbon isn’t quite enough over the longer term compared with their squarer 205/405 models. Kept the sinus/ allergy issue at bay though.

After a certain procedure I ended up with a very particular condition that made me physically dependent on nasal sprays to make sure I can breathe. I literally used to wake up at night with all my nasal passages swollen and only after a couple of sprays and a good half hour of wating I would be able to have the pressure in my head releived so I can breathe again and live again! So, I ended up with air purifiers in every room of my house as they seem to be relieving some symptoms. This particular one was put to the test in the bedroom and over the past month I had been keeping a close eye on how it affects my breathing at night.
I cannot say that it magically helped me find my breath back and reclaim my full health, but it most certainly alleviated some symptoms and I can breathe easier at night and do not wake up every 4 hours for another dose! In fact, I sometimes now last until the morning before needing another doze of my meds, so….it is quite telling I would say! It has been running on the auto mode and depending on the activity in the room ( based on how much the air is disturbed, I’d say) it either intensifies or slows down its quiet humming. I am used to it now, so cannot even detect whether it is on straight away without paying particular attention to it, so it is pretty silent and suitable for our bedrooms. It is well priced too, so I can recommend it, as it is on a par with other purifiers I have, some 3-4 times more expensive!

Not only does it look smart it works too!
Running happily in our living room for the last few weeks with minimal noise it’s made a noticeable difference to the inside air quality.
Both the allergy and asthma sufferers in the household feel clearer in the same room as the purifier.
The reduced dust levels are particularly noticeable on the television screen. Normally a dust magnet, it’s been clear for ages.

Easy to use central control on the top.

    10 out of 10.

I’m using it in the bedroom to help another air purifier I have in the living room and it works great.
Zero hayfever symptoms while I’m at home without having to get tablets.
The filter lasts only six months but costs only 20, so isn’t a huge expense.
The air purifier is really simple to use, looks nice, and it’s really quiet.
I would recommend it to anyone who have to work from home and has hayfever!

This air purifier does exactly what it’s supposed to do and clears the air in any room. I have been using it in my conservatory and find that it helps make the room less humid and more comfortable to sit in. There’s a noticeable difference in air quality since I started using it, so I’d definitely recommend.

Since it’s arrived its been running in the background of our living room and hardly makes a peep, its great for our family who have to deal with their hay fever allergies and asthma.
It’s sleek and minimalist design makes it dead easy to set up, 4 modes activated by a single button in the centre, that shuffle through 1-auto, 2-nighttime,3-everyday, and 4 the highest settings.
There are 4 settings via 1 button in the middle – 1 press is auto, 2 presses is night mode, 3 presses is everyday mode and 4 presses is boost mode (press again to turn off).

It’s also great to keep in the bedroom during the night and has been a massive helper for our sleep.

5.0 out of 5 stars Sleek, minimalist and iconspicuous

Golden Review Award: 5 From Our UsersI’d recommend this Blueair Blue 3210 air purifier any day of the week!

I get really bad hay fever in the summer. I ended up getting this air purifier out today as I’d been outside while my boyfriend was mowing the lawn and my allergies were awful when I got inside. I turned this on just with the auto setting and my nose stopped running, cleared within minutes and I could breathe again!

There are 4 settings via 1 button in the middle – 1 press is auto, 2 presses is night mode, 3 presses is everyday mode and 4 presses is boost mode (press again to turn off). The boost mode is obviously the loudest, but I’m not sure I’ll need this. If you take away this setting, this air purifier is pretty quiet. Even on auto, I can’t hear it and if you put your hand over the top, you’ll feel a very light breeze. When it’s on auto, it will detect the quality of the air and adjust its setting accordingly. It also visually shows you the quality of the air via the LED light – blue means good, orange means moderate and red means poor.

It includes a HEPAsilent technology filter which is good quality and also a pre-filter (the grey material around the bottom) that removes large particles. The pre-filter can be removed by the velcro at the back and machine washed which is a really clever idea. The grey also fits my interior and doesn’t look out of place which is perfect. An air purifier can help with allergies, mould, pet dander, dust, etc so I think every household should have at least one. It says this is for small rooms (17m2) but our living room is about 20m2 at a guess and even with the doors open it works a treat.

An air purifier can help with so many issues, I can’t recommend it enough – I wish I’d got one sooner!

Golden Review Award: 9 From Our UsersI don’t write reviews but I bought this, sceptically, to see if it could help with the bizarre amount of dust that sits everywhere in the main bedroom in my new house. I’ve never had this issue before and it is only in this one room. I wasn’t interested in ‘cleaning’ the air in the room, but just dealing with the dust problem. I have had it permanently on low/auto for one week: it is almost silent and there is no dust! It is amazing. The sideboard top, which within 24 hrs of cleaning, is usually laden with a mat of dust, is, after one week since cleaning and one week of the BlueAir 3210 being on, perfectly dust free as are the blinds. This is a fantastic piece of kit and the best purchase I’ve made in a long while.

Golden Review Award: 10 From Our UsersI own 2 Blueair 411 and bought this one because of it’s Auto function. Don’t bother. The air purifier will only increase it’s fan speed once the PM2.5 in your room has reached 10. I have asthma and don’t want a higher PM2.5 then 1 in my room. I contacted Blueair and they confirmed it. When the air purifier is running on Auto in my tiny bedroom I have a PM2.5 of 4. I use an excellent and accurate air quality monitor to check that. It’s not doing much on the night time setting and auto setting. It’s basically silent. However, the second fan setting is not as loud as the second fan setting of the 411. I am using the second fan setting at night. I do have the 211 in the living room and after having used them for 3 years my asthma is much better. I no longer need the steroid and long acting reliever inhalers.
