I’ve traveled all over the country with this ramp, my pooch and my 4runner. it’s a bit heavier than other ramps but much more reliable. I duct taped the bottom 2 together to make it easier for in and out. I’m convinced this is extending and improving the quality of my pups life & what’s the value of that?

I drive for a wonderful trucking company that lets me bring my best buddy with me, not easy to pick up a 85 pound lab into a semi rig, so i looked at all the fold out ladder types and ran across this ramp, it folds up and stows right in front of the passenger seat in my 2019 international.

Overall I recommend this for bigger dogs. Our giant breed uses this to get in/out our car. It weighs over 10kg and is quite awkward to move about, the rough surface can also damage the car seats and gets dirty easily (hard to clean). It does the job well though so I think it is worth the money.

Very study, quite heavy but only good for rear of SUV entry. Does not fit if you want your pet to gain access to seat behind driver.

Good Ramp I would Definetaly buy again even with the negative reviews I read. The ramp is nice and wide and sturdy. When I say sturdy, I mean it does not bend down when my Cattle dog goes up it. She is 65 lbs and a little spooky at times. At first try the graphite coating she did not like and would not go near it again. When I folded it up the graphite was a bit rough on my hands also. I loved everything about this ramp except the graphite. So I got some Easy grip shelf/drawer liner and taped that on the ramp squares. The graphite helps to hold the liner onto the ramp and good on dry or wet days. No sliding or skidding of the paws. Little heavier to carry then the other ramps but I think the sturdiness is safety for my pup. GOOD RAMP ! WOOF!

I would definitely recommend this ramp again. It is wide enough for me to walk up; the friction tape still holds up without catching too much dirt or detritus; finally it’s definitely lasted, over four years in the Phoenix sun and heat is amazing.

I’m a disabled vet with a 100 lb Lab/Pit mix as a service dog; I also drive a lifted 2017 Jeep Wrangler in Phoenix, AZ. This ramp has lasted for over four years in the Phoenix sun and heat with my service dog using the ramp from several times a week to several times daily! After four years of constant use it is finally wearing down, with cracks forming under the lower hinge and on one corner I tend to drag when I load/unload it.

I liked the ramp but it’s very heavy for me to carry in snd out of car and to assemble onto car. Also my dog refused to go up it. She insisted on jumping across it.

Works great, the dogs took to it right away. It’s a little bulky as it tri folds which makes it take up a lot of room.

I would have preferred a more soft or porous material for the walking pad. Dog wants to put her nails down for traction and when she does her feet skips out from under her sometimes. The grit paper does not work as well as I would have liked it to work. Coming out of surgery her leg slipped off the ramp on the side of her surgery. I had to take her back in to be checked. It takes some training for her to be comfortable with going up and down the ramp. Even now three weeks after surgery, she is reluctant to go up and down without hesitation. Over all, it helps. I cannot lift 80 pounds of dog.

Works good. Goes good to my back truck floorboard he walks up and jumps in the back seat. A little awkward and bends a little bit but he is 120 lbs and got used to it in minutes. So glad I went with the loner ramp the extra foot makes a huge difference.

I bought this to help me put my foldable mobility scooter into the back of my small SUV. the scooter weights 50 pounds, and it just a bit too heavy for me to lift. This ramp was a life-saver. I just put it up against the back of my car, and stand next to the ramp while I roll my scooter into the car. Most pet ramps are too narrow, but this one works perfectly. The cost was reasonable and the ramp is easy to manage.

Golden Review Award: 9 From Our UsersThis ramp is almost perfect. I bought it because it is wider than most ramps I saw on line. My 40 lb Finnish Spitz is 13 1/2 and I know his vision is not the greatest now. This way he has more width to negotiate the ramp. My only complaint, hence the 4 stars vs 5, is the sandpaper like surface. I tried the ramp at a friend’s house from the first step down from the landing to the ground. My dog started down the steepness and couldn’t grip it so he sort of hopped to the side at the bottom and fell over. (weak legs at this point). So that same day I went to Home Depot and just bought a section of the grey indoor outdoor carpet, cut 3 pieces and glued them down with Gorilla glue. Voila! MUCH better. I then tried the ramp back at my house on a very gentle front step, and he had no problem. So he is much more used to it now and I will once again try it at my friend’s house, since that is who cares for him when I am gone sometimes. So I would highly recommend the product but would also HIGHLY recommend covering the grit like surface. The dogs just can’t grip the ramp. And I am sure it doesn’t feel very good on their feet. And the carpet costs all of about $5 to $10.

I bought this because my dog had knee surgery and couldn’t use the stairs or jump in/out of the car. I chose this one because it was a tad wider and longer than most, providing extra security. The surface is kind of sandpapery but not too rough, it folds and stores easily, and it’s not too heavy. It was a Godsend for my dog’s recovery. She is 50 lbs and it bowed very slightly when she walked in the middle, so you might consider that if your dog is much heavier.

Golden Review Award: 9 From Our UsersThis item is good for a Chevy Tahoe, as it is longer than other ramps on the market, which makes it easier for larger dogs to use (we have a big and tall, 100 pound, 11 year old Lab). As with other reviews, I ended up peeling off the anti-slip contact paper and placing peal-and-stick indoor/outdoor carpeting on the ramp. Our Lab has long nails and it was hard for him to gain traction on the anti-slip contact paper. It took 2 days of training for him to use the ramp, but now he is a pro at using it. Training consisted of: First, walking on the ramp on the Livingroom floor – treats; 2nd using the ramp on the deck steps – treats; and then using it on the Tahoe – treats. He is motivated by treats….

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersWish I’d bought this years ago , I’ve half hearted looking for a ramp for my 12 st dog for awhile,
but the ones I’ve seen didn’t look that strong. My dog has always been athletic and jumped in and
Out of my van with no problems, but last week really struggling fast how quick things can change.
I can’t recommend this product enough, wish I’d found it years ago , anyone who got a big dog knows
The trouble finding anything suitable for them , this fits the bill highly recommended.

I struggled to find a robust simple to use ramp that would be suitable for my larger heavy dog. I ordered this ramp and it came and i was not disappointed. There was no assembly of parts and the build quality was good. I tired it on the car and the dog loved it.
I would say it is fairly bulky when folded which is not a problem for me however if you have a small car it may take up most of the room or need placing on the back seat.

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersDefinitely for big dogs. I wouldn’t recommend for a small dog, unless you have more than one that like to walk down at the same time. 🙂

    Liked:
    1. Steady for my 10 year old 120 lb Chocolate Lab/Great Dane to walk up and down.
    2. Non-skid surface allowed for something his nails to dig into to keep him from slipping off
    3. Perfect length for our midsize SUV (Jeep Grand Cherokee)
    4. Seems to be of very good quality (we’ve only used it once on a 20 hour road trip after we realized it was too hard for our old boy to get in and out of the SUV.)

    Disliked:
    1. When unfolding, nothing to stop it from pinching your fingers.
    2. Heavy for me – not for my husband – I basically had to let it fall to keep from pinching my fingers – worth its weight and a few pinched fingers, however, for the ease it gives my old boy.
    3. Very rough surface – think nail file – nonskid surface okay for my old boy’s nails? Someone suggested putting the stick-on outdoor carpet squares. I believe that would be perfect. (heading over to the search to HD to pick some up!)
    4. I’m not sure why, but my husband felt the need to tie it down with straps. We had lots of stuff sliding around back in the cargo area so maybe it was a way to keep it from sliding into our boy who took up the entire back of the SUV with the luggage?

  25. KathleneStclair says:

It is sturdy and my ageing dog is not afraid to use it as it doesn’t wobble and the rough surface is easy
for him to grip. It has really helped his painful joints. However it is very big and takes up a lot of space in the boot and it is also heavy. Good value though.

Overall, I like my tri-fold ramp. I have a large 110 pound German Shepherd and a 80 pound Belgium Shepherd, and I trust this ramp to carry their weight. Even when they fly into my truck on the bounce. I also like the no slip surfacing. Originally I didn’t think it was worth noting, but I’ve come to appreciate it being there. The reason I gave this ramp 4 out of 5 Stars is because it is slightly awkward and a twitch heavy. No heavier than stated in the specs, but it would be great if it was designed a little lighter and less awkward… but then that could just be me. The up shot is, I would definitely recommend this ramp to a fellow dog love

Bought for a boating holiday to ensure my Labrador could get on/off safely. Good sturdy ramp. Needed encouragement initially to use as wary but after a few goes with being forced to use it, was using it herself without hesitation. A little on the heavy side and bulky but that’s what probably makes it sturdy and did not give when she is on it. My lab is nearly 40 kg. Happy with purchase and looks like it will last.

I was a bit nervous about whether my elderly GSD would deign to use thus. Slight hesitation but then no problems. Sturdy enough for her to feel stable. Bit on the bulky and heavy side for handling and fitting in the car but the sturdiness is what you need for a 35kg dog.

Got this for a RV and two Great Danes. This attaches perfectly to the top stair step on the RV. The giant dogs test the limits of this ramp but no problems yet. Only issue was the non skid surface. After 4 years the dog nails have ripped the center of the ramp away. I repainted with truck bed liner. It was disappointingly easy to remove the old surface. Now it’s better than new. Only negative with the bed liner is it gets hot in the sun. Should have used a lighter color.

Folds up nicely, the surface has a great grip on it, feels very sturdy. The latch on the side is quite convenient as it is easy to lock up and keeps the ramp quite secure for lifting in and out of the car. It is quite heavy (less so than my Bernese mountain dog) so it is a bit difficult to manoeuvre. The most difficult part of this ramp is unfolding it and getting it in to place. It is not a quick and simple process and requires holding the door open to get it in to place which leaves a long window of time for the dog to try and jump out on his own.

Not the most convenient setup, but safer than having my dog jump in and out of my truck.

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersBought this to use in my slide-in truck camper to allow the dogs to reach the bed. Managed to get both dogs to use the ramp within the first couple days, as others have said it’s a matter of introducing this slowly. This holds my 100lb mix breed girl and my 130+lb Lab no problem (one at a time of course), and the width of the deck is great for the wider-framed dogs. The sandpaper-type material covering the ramp is effective, but I’m unsure of how well this will hold up over time. I’m sure it could be easily repaired if necessary. Plastic ramp frame folds up to approx 2’x3′, so is relatively easy to carry, but I will mention that even at a plastic frame, this thing still weighs in at almost 30 lbs. However, this is worth what we spent on it, and I would likely buy it again.

It works! My 10 year old 100lb shepherd didn’t have any problems using this for the first time. He was a little hesitant at first and going down was easier than going up but overall it did what it is meant to do and helped get him in and our of my suv without jumping. (I just guided him by his collar up and down a few times to get him accustomed to it. It is not “compact”, it’s actually a little cumbersome but its also pretty sturdy and i bought extra wide knowing it would take up more room but allow for him to feel more comfortable walking on it…and he did… I would recommend it to other large dog owners

A little heavy but the ramp is solid and easy to put up/take down. My Lab was using it within minutes, with the help of lots of treats and praise. It seems bulky but actually sits in the boot secured by a bungy, plenty of room for the dog still. When we have his friends over, it goes behind the front seat but covered with a towel as the surface is quite rough against the upholstery.

E’ solida, robusta, rivestita in materiale antiscivolo e come gi detto bella larga.
