I purchased this enclosure as I was experiencing adhesion issues when running my Ender 3 v2 Neo a cold room; this seemed to offer a cheaper solution that turning up the heating. Well it works better than I expected; where in the past I would have needed to print on a raft I am now, in most cases, able to print abs and petg without any adhesion constructs.

Although it requires a bit of wiggling to get my Ender 5 Pro in the medium sized enclosure, once in I found there was plenty of room to setup and use the printer.
It is awkward to change the spool but as that’s not very often I don’t mind. It overlaps the little ikea table every one seems to use by a few centimetres but not enough to cause a stability issue.
Overall I am very happy with it, as the printer is in an outbuilding I had so many failed prints when the temperature dropped. Well, not anymore my prints are so much better quality and not one failed print. With a blanket on top the temperature stayed around 25 C.

Used for Ender3 v2 neo. Keeps the temp stable. Used in cold garage. No problems with printed results. Good quality.

This made a big difference in my prints. I haven’t had any print failures as without it i use to have warping on the build plate and failures due to change in temperature…i would highly recommend it.

Had trouble with failed prints in my house due to drafts and temperature fluctuations. This solved these but I did have to modify it for my printer. Should be OK with an Ender though.

Bought for an Ender 3 Neo and fits fine, tall enough to house a 1KG spool. Happy with purchase.

Does help with adhesion but mainly helps stop the dust in the air produced by the printer. Not sure what it was with my Ender 3 V2 but after few hours it always seemed to feel dusty in the air when in use, after all there is super fine partials produced by the printer. Now the printer is inside this enclosure it definitely feels better in the room. It has cut down the “feel” of the dust in the air/better air quality.

I also run an air purifier close to the enclosure to help also. A must if you have an Ender 3. Can’t give it 5 stars due to its size. It is quite big, it could have been slightly smaller, it’s also a dust magnet on the outside.

Will update this review further down the line.

    For a small its big.
I have an ender 3 inside.
So easy to assemble and fit cover on.
Holds temp well i have a digital thermometer and its 36 most times.
Would recommend put a light in it as its dark to see inside.
Worth the price and good value.
    Im happy with i

I bought this for my Ender 3v2. It was bigger than I expected but it should help with better prints. Easy to assemble once I worked out the cover alignment. The power lead aperture is on the wrong side but that’s no problem. There’s lots of room inside and although it looks quite chunky in the room, actually it’s not vastly bigger than the dimensions of the printer. It could do with being a tad shorter but it’s perfectly livable with. As a 3D printer enclosure it is excellent value and will fit many printers. I recommend it.

The enclosure was easy to assemble and has plenty of space for my ender 3 pro. I can finally print abs without warping and layer separation now with this enclosure!

I used with a Prusa Mk3. It is bigger than you actually need for such a printer, but it does mean that you have easy access for maintenance etc
The material is very odd, it’s almost sticky. The listing claims it is fireproof, I would be SHOCKED if that is true.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersOK, it’s a fantasic enclosure for a 3D printer…..but whoever decided to use that slick sticky waterproof fabric on the outside clearly doesn’t have pets. I have my printer in my bedroom (only ever print PLA so not worried about fumes) and I have a cat and two house rabbits. I swear as soon as I set up this enclosure every single hair and piece of fluff in my room was dragged towards it like it was a black hole! I dust my room every day but wow did this thing show me what I had missed. I guess it’s ok for a workshop or dedicated print room, but for the aesthetics of my room I’m afraid it’s a no go. (Yes I’m a neat freak diva, it’s ok you can all judge me)

Easy to assemble and seems sturdy. Fits my Creality Ender 3 in it no problem. A useful pouch on the side and slot for allowing mains plug out as well. I recommend it even though it is a tad pricey.

The enclosure unit is expensive for what it does, also there are many issues with the seals on the unit I received resulting in having to tape it up. Overall I would probably do one in perspex next time to ensure the seal was better would recommend it for a beginner.

Luckily I have the room for it and have built a dedicated table for it.

This is massive, but for me its worked out really well as My Ender 3V2 is heavily modified. and its given me the room inside the tent to accommodate all my mods, custom top mounted spool holder for direct drive, keyboard for octoprint my printers rarely off so its also allowed me to store all my PETG inside at 35’c 22% humidity, which is what my tent seems to levels out at when in use and zipped up.

The window takes a while for the creases to fall out, but they will making the window much easier to see through.

Its very easy to assemble, the quality of mine is very good, all stitching and zips are well constructed in the right places of corners.

It has created a stable temperature printing environment, has also helped me to prevent some corner lift/warping on large surface area, longer printing models as i print in PETG Nylon and CF filaments.

    Its LARGE!

I really like the enclosure, bought 2 now for my machines. I get better prints because the heat is contained and more consistent where my printers are in drafty garage.

It’s just a shame the opening flaps position is such that operating the printers controls is awkward. Would have been better to open up the front and not the side.

  19. Anna Tims says:

Fits printer well with plenty of room for access and spool. Feels durable and good quality. Comparable to ones twice the price. Would recommend using side access flaps to pipe in ventilation for main board and power supply as it gets warm in there. Perfect for printing ASA/ABS or just keeping dust off the printer. Seems to cut out noise well, but is dark inside without some LED lights fitted to the printer (which is very easy to do).

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersEasy to assemble, made of a good quality and apparently, fireproof material. Plenty of room inside for my Elegoo Neptune 2S. As it prevents draughts it immediately made a huge difference in the quality of prints and no lifting or adherence problems.

I got the larger one because it said it would fit the max, etc, which has the same footprint as the CR10 Smart, so I figured it would fit a CR10 Smart… it does… kind of?

Physically, it will fit inside it, yeah – fine, but try actually using the bloody thing while it’s inside, because you will need patience and a buffer zone around the enclosure because stuff is going to be poking into the sides of the enclosure most of the time… it does the job though, keeps the warm air in a decent job of keeping the humidity low.

It just about fits... JUST (CR10 Smart)

As the nights get colder now, overnight prints are having delamination. Bought the kit to keep the heat in, and it works perfectly well. Improved print quality dramatically. The sound reduction isn’t massive, but it does make a noticeable difference.

    Positiv:
    Sehr einfach aufzubauen
Keine Mngel im Material oder Verarbeitung

    Negativ:
Fr den Ender 3 v2 ist es etwas sehr knapp bemessen.
Er passt, aber die Steuereinheit muss leicht an die Wand gedrckt werden damit der Stepper die gegenberliegende nicht berhrt.

I, like you, make things myself, hence we are printer owners. The temptation is therefore to build your own enclosure, however given I have limited time I decided to try this ready made one.
There isn’t much to fault. It goes together easily, is as sturdy as you’d expect and has openings in all the right places (this review is for the large version for a CR10S Pro). There’s even an outside pocket for all those tools you keep losing.
Be aware that (at time of writing) the picture on the Amazon site has the depth and width dimensions swapped – it’s 750 mm front to back, see the picture attached to this review.

I am an absolute noob in the 3D printing world so after reading tons of reviews, watch YouTube videos and scrutinise internet forums about this topic, I decided to buy this on specifically. I am amazed and fascinated. The assembly is fairly simple. Instructions are clear and concise. Literally, in 30 minutes since I opened the box I was printing that cat that comes in the SD. I am loving it. I totally recommend it.

    Amazing printer.

Golden Review Award: 4 From Our UsersPros,
    -keeps printer nearly dust free
    -keeps temperature very stable
    -looks dang good

    Con ONLY ONE,
-watch your temperature if you close the enclosure during print!!!
I set my printer up to do an overnight print like I’ve done before but now I have a new cover and I zipped it shut, that was a huge mistake. The hotend got heat creep causing a clog and filament went everywhere but down. Birds nets!

So, great enclosure great value DO NOT leave it without some good ventilation.

    Perfect enclosure BUT!!!

Golden Review Award: 4 From Our UsersI initially purchased this for safety reasons so I could leave my printer runnin when I am not home and not worry about the fire risk. While this enclosure is too big and I wish it came in more sizes, it has exceeded my expectations. First, it is easy to put together. Second, the temperature consistency has improved the quality of my prints and allowed me to increase print speed and layer height. Thirdly, when the enclosure is zipped up, the noise reduces from 50 decibels to 40 decibels. Overall, a good purchase.

Love this, added in some LED strip lights too. There could be a better fit for my ender 3 V2 but I guess its generic. Keeps heat in well and stops the room from getting unbearably hot.

Great quality product – I highly recommend.

However, please bear in mind that this is a fit-all enclosure. It is probably a bit large for my Ender 3 and also changing the filament is an access problem as there is no leftside opening. Other than these minor niggles a fine product.

    – BL Touch ( bessere Nivellierung )
    – Neuen Extruder ( andere Hersteller )
    –> alles ohne Erfolge

    Neu dazu gekauft :
    – Diese Hlle
    – Neues Flexrohr ( Capricorn Bowden )
    – Blue Tape (3M)
    – Originale Extruder

Fr Alle die es fast aufgeben wollen. Das hier ist die Lsung.
Jetzt liebe ich mein Ender-5 wieder.

This fits the Ender 5 plus very snugly. The tent itself is very, very large and would be overkill for smaller printers but you do have to slightly modify how the base install of the Ender 5 plus works before it will fit.

The directions tell you to have the spool heading outside of the back of the printer but the problem is it will not fit into the tent this way. You need to move the spool so it goes upwards from the back rather than out the back before it’ll fit.

The original tent had a broken zipper but they happily replaced it pretty quick. Overall I am very pleased with this tent.

Side note: Be sure to buy lights! This will make your entire work area dark, even with the front opened. I’m using a flashlight for now but will be installing lights soon.

  43. Ashley Macha says:

A lot of small print problems just went away after I started printing is a tent. I’d argue that this isn’t an optional piece of equipment. I like this tent way better that a rigid enclosure because it just takes a second to pull it down from the support structure and then another second to put it back when you have to do maintenance on your printer. In the case of my CR-10 I’d also recommending not pushing the table against a wall if you can help it. Being able to pull down the tent and walk around the back makes working on the hot end and extruder a breeze.

In the case of a CR-10 the filament roll normally sits on the control unit and feeds to the printer from the side. I did that for a while, it does just barely fit in the tent. Then I printed a bracket and some guilds so I could mount the roll on top of the printer and keep the control box outside the tent. I like that much better. The roll touches top of the tent, but everything works just fine.

Golden Review Award: 5 From Our UsersI almost purchased the smaller of the two enclosures, but based on feedback from others with the Ender 5 I went with the large. Large is an understatement! There is plenty of room inside, plus room for the spool to either be side mounted or top mounted. My printer pretty much sits in the back-right corner nearest to the round vent opening because I relocated the power/electronics and LCD to OUTSIDE the tent. Temps when printing SPLA, PETG, or ABS were in the 100 degree range so I did not want the sensitive electronics to be harmed or risk failures. The stock cables were just long enough when placing the power box as indicated in the photos. The Z axis motor cable is the shortest of the bunch and just barely makes the stretch. I had already replaced my extruder motor cable to setup direct drive so I don’t know if the stock cable is long enough or not….

As for stable temps, I am no longer having prints warp on the corners, adherence to the heated glass bed is amazing! It does cut down on noise, but not really all that much. It’s definitely quieter, but my main reason to get it was the stable ambient temperatures allowing me to have less wasted prints due to warping and other temperature related defects.

There was one small issue with the seams of the zipper, but the seller was very quick to respond and is shipping another tent (minus the poles) to replace this one. Very quick response, very satisfied with the entire process so far!

    Massive! Just Massive!

Golden Review Award: 4 From Our UsersI have been fighting curling of my printed parts for weeks (I’m new to this 3d printing). Sometimes I would get a good print and sometimes not. I tried most of the printing beds out there including glue. The only glue that worked was Airwolf3d bed glue. So, I was tired of working so hard and I decided to try this enclosure. According to what I have found, something like this will give you repeatability with good 3d printing. Well, I can tell you, this should one on everyones list to purchased along with the 3d printer. It works great! I get NO curling at all, it quiets down the fans, keep out off it and most importantly, keep the environment stable (stable temps) with no drafts affecting the parts. Should have got this a long time ago….
