Well constructed and well presented in a box that will usefully provide protection for the microphone whilst travelling. I used audacity software and a pink noise app to accurately map the 4 polar patterns and test for how well the noise rejection was. The microphone performed exactly as you would wish for. Variable microphone gain and headphone gain will allow you to have maximum control over any recordings you make. Spoken voice recordings were extremely natural picking out the timbre and nuances in my speech. I intend using this microphone for recording my mother and I recounting her life story. In this instance my test recordings would indicate that the stereo polar pattern will provide a natural method to recreate the scenario of w people seated side by side. The illuminated mute/recording button gives instant reassurance of the microphone state of use.

Bought for my son who likes gaming on his computer. No complaints so far. Picked this one with this stand, as the old one had a tripod stand which snapped off .

This microphone is great value for money. I’ve been using it for over 6 months and it has served me very well. The design is very slick and clean. The sound quality is good but not as clean as more expensive counterparts. However, this mic is very easy to use and the different functions are not complicated at all. I would recommend this mic as it is one of the best in the price range.

    Great value for money

Great build quality and sound quality from this Fifine Mic. Has 4 voice patterns and all the stuff you need to record or stream from gain volume, mute, headphone connector. I am using a pop filter which I originally bought for the blu yeti just to help with certain words and soften them up. In voice quality I prefer the Fifine to the Blu Yeti Original. It has better clarity. The only thing about it is the old USB output. I wish it was updated to a USB-C instead but for the price it is what it is.

Love this Fifine Mic. Very good quality all around

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersGreat microphone offering different pickup patterns.

Made like a tank, feels really expensive.

Audio quality is impressive for the price.

    Pros:
    4 different pickup patterns
    Solid build quality
    Easily accessible mute button
    Great design
    Matt black looks sleek
    Long USB cable provider

    Cons
Audio can be a bit noisy, so recommend post processing a bit
Although the included stand is good the mic still sits low so I’d recommend a boom arm for convenience and optimum audio clarity.

Amazing microphone for the price! the quality of the sound is very similar to microphones that cost more than 200.

Pick-up patterns are really useful to adapt in different situations and the build quality and unboxing experience are phenomenal.

    Highly suggested!

    Impressive microphone!

The Fifine K690 is a USB microphone with 4 polar pickup patterns, gain and volume controls all in a sleek metal design for an affordable price. Great for YouTube, podcasts, gaming, conferencing and more. The mic comes well packaged and includes a quick start guide, mic stand adapter, mini USB cable for power and of course the K690 microphone with desk stand.

The K960 features a durable and sleek matte black all metal design. This not only looks great but will not show reflections that can cause unwanted glare in videos. On the front the mic features an LED indicator and a dedicated headphone volume dial with plenty of resistance to avoid accidental turns. On the bottom is where you will find the mini USB port, would have preferred USB C but for the price it’s hard to complain. There is also the stand mount and a headphone input to listen to your recordings live. On the back are the dedicated mic gain dial and the polar pattern dial. This let’s you switch between the four polar patterns: cardioid, omnidirectional, bi-directional and stereo. Being able to change the polar pattern makes the mic great for many different use cases:

    Cardioid
Most common, the mic records sounds from the front only. Good for one person recording, voice overs, zoom etc.

    Omnidirectional
Records sound from all directions. Perfect for a conference with multiple people sitting around the mic placed in the middle of a table.

    Bi-directional
Records sound from the front and back of the mic, while eliminating sound from the left and right. This allows two people in an interview sitting across from one another to use the mic.

    Stereo
As the name implies, stereo will record audio in two channels, one for left and one for right. This is good for recording instruments or any case where you want that clear left and right separation.

How does the mic perform? The frequency response ranges from 40 to 20 kilo herts, which is a wide range meaning, sounds across low, medium and high frequencies will be picked up allowing for accurate sound. Providing clear audio with it’s signal to noise ratio of 65dp. I also found there to be no strong bias in terms of the frequencies. Allowing for pronounced and balanced sound. You can hear the detail and nuances come through, voices sound true to life and detail rich. If you are looking for a mic for YouTube voice overs, podcasting with multiple people, gaming, zoom conferencing – this is an excellent option with it’s versatility, strong feature set and compelling price!

The microphone has a premium build and doesn’t feel cheap, and the polar pattern selector is a nice feature.

I’ve used it to record voice and guitar, so far it sounds great.

I like the design and its price but you have to step back for a little bit cause the sound can be irritating if you move your mouth so close to the mic.

    Best bang for you buck

I’ve had this for a while now and it’s just perfect, It’s on par with a blue yeti or even better than the yeti, the price I bought this for is just wow, I’m very happy that this mic exists because I was so close to buying a blue snowball, but then I came across this mic and it just sounds amazing, also tuned it to make it sound even better, I would recommend this any day.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersMy Blue Snowball mic was coming up to 10 years old, having done sterling service, so it needed to be replaced. My first instinct was to go with the Blue Yeti, it seemed ideal…but I had a look around first, and found the FiFine K690-B, which seemed to be a Yeti clone, but considerably cheaper. Now, I’m usually an advocator of the adage….you get what you pay for….but this FiFine mic proved an exception. Its build quality is superb, all metal, and a sturdy desk stand, easily the equal of the Yeti. The mic has the 4 polar PU patterns, omni, bi, cardioid, and importantly, stereo. I would be using only cardioid and, mostly, stereo. They all work flawlessly. The mic is sensitive, but I had no problem with unwanted background noise. It also has a variable gain control, the pattern switch, a monitor mic control, and a mute button. The recorded sound in all modes is full and rich, much better than my outgoing mic. I record solo stringed instruments, and the stereo setting coped with this admirably, as did the cardioid. The immediacy of the sound is particularly noteworthy. Setup of the mic on Windows 10 is completely automatic. Now, what are the cons? For me, it’s a matter of ergonomics. FiFine could have improved upon the Yeti control layout by bringing the mic gain control to the front of the mic, where the headphone monitor gain is already. The polar pattern switch can remain at the rear, although I can’t see any reason why all of the controls couldn’t be at the front. I have no information on how good it is for gaming, as I don’t game. Other than this, the mic is a great buy, and thoroughly recommended.

I wanted a decent mic that will last. For everyday use (mostly communicators). Probably I could buy something a bit cheaper but I chose this one after viewing lots of reviews as a bigger brother for K678 which had very good reviews.

    What I like..
It is really solid build – nothing looks cheap, nice USB cable in package, for Win10 it works out of the Box without any issues.
It even works well with Teams which often has issues with dodgy drivers.
I can’t tell if sound quality is decent for the price as I can compare it only to Laptop mic or cable/Bluetooth headphones and it is nice compare to that. However it sounds nice.

    What I don’t like..
It is a bit bigger than I expected 60x160mm but the stand is good design so it does not take so much space on desk and looks nice.
What I really don’t like is.. it does not have any on/off switch so you need to plug USB cable off the laptop everyday which is a bit ridicules compared to all features it has.. and it is hardly mention in reviews.

I bought this for podcasting and found it’s just as useful for getting a good room sound for band rehearsals. Neat little thing – I recommend it.

Great product and well worth the cost. Well made item. It is fairly heavy and shouldn’t move around or fall off a desk due to cable weight or accidental movement.
I use it for video conferencing in which I play various instruments. Good clear sound. Stereo seems to be the best option for this sort of use. There are other settings for different uses. Very good item.

Im not a youtuber or online streamer just using this mic for gaming. As a gamer i was looking for proper mic what will hide every background noise like my pc or mechanical opitcal keyboard etc etc.
Well im really happy that i tried new fifine K690 my voice is cristal clear, my friends can barely hear my keyboard and no background noise. Looks awesome and its solid. Best microphone in that price range and like a lot of people said its better than blue audio.

best mic ever perfect for gaming
