I have a stationary dual monitor screen setup at home, but we travel often and I work with my laptop in the car a lot. The transition can feel painful at times! Not having the second screen leaves me feeling less productive. My brother in law purchased this screen a few months ago and he raved about it. So, I jumped on the purchase trusting him. I went with the 13″ screen size since I work in multiple programs at a time. I received the product in a timely manner and the application and installation was easy with a guide for where and how to place the magnets. I was impressed how secure the screen was after applied with the magnets, and also how easily the screen slid out to be used. It has a nice swivel feature so you can angle the screen toward you and it is pretty sturdy. I plugged in and followed the instructions and was working within minutes. I appreciate that it came with extra sticky adhesive for the magnets in case. The screen was bright and I set it to extend my existing screen so I have lots of room to move my windows around. Looking forward to using it often and enjoying the second screen!
I had an earlier version of the MobilePixels Duex Pro (3 years old now and it’s still doing a great job) and found it invaluable for getting work done when travelling or just working from home. I just got the new Duex Max and I’m pleased to say it’s even better! It’s light, but the (I went with the blue) cover is robust and looks great, and it’s got a couple of buttons at the back to adjust brightness, contrast, saturation and a few other options (which is a great improvement).
The new magnets are super-strong and hold the screen in place well, and setup was as simple as plugging it in.
I’d recommend it for a small home office where you don’t want a separate monitor out on the desk all the time, as well as working from anywhere in the world.

Sieht auf jeden Fall sehr schick aus.
Es gibt auch die Triple-Version wo 2 Monitore geliefert werden und
ein Monitor rechts und links ausgeklappt werden was sehr nice aussieht.
Ebenso ist es mglich den Monitor Horizontal als auch vertikal einzusetzen.
In meinem Fall habe ich einen 14,1Zoll Bildschirm bestellt mit einem sehr hellen verbauten IPS-Panel.
Dieser stellt Bilder und Videos sehr scharf und farbgetreu dar.
Wir haben hier eine Auflsung von 1080p also FullHD bei 60Hz.
ber das Men lassen sich sehr viele Settings auswhlen
auf die ich jetzt nicht unbedingt eingehen mchte.
Mir war die Konnektivitt wichtig.
Das Gert besitzt alle mglichen Anschlsse und Adapter um
alle neuen modernen Gerte steuern zu knnen.
So kann das Gert nicht nur fr Notebooks eingesetzt werden.
Eine Playsi, Xbox, Raspberri oder auch den FireTV kann darber laufen.
Die Mglichkeit hier den Bildschirm als TV zu nutzen ist ideal.
So kann man einen kleinen mini-PC oder einfach wie oben erwhnt
einen TV-Stick anschlieen und TV berall portable schauen.
Strom zieht sich das Gert ber USB vom Endgert oder ggf. Powerbank.
Ich bin von dieser Lsung auf jeden Fall angetan und sehr zufrieden.
Daher volle 5 Sterne und wrmste Weiterempfehlung
I found the videos provided on You Tube folks were so much better in guiding my understanding how to attach the screen to my laptop lid. screen was a bit cumbersome to pull in and out at first, but once you are used to the process, seems pretty good.
I used it for five days straight working remotely and by the third day, I really enjoyed using it. Screen is smaller than my other external portable screen from KKY, both graphics are very good. My documents, including PDFs, are very clear; pics are good too. I don’t game so can’t say anything about it, but the weight I like, fits in my laptop bag much better. I bought a sleeve for it as well for protection.
Overall, good product. Useful and light, small enough to carry when traveling through airport and such. The four metal round pieces aren’t too bad keep it on the laptop lid, weight doesn’t affect the third way opened lid; nor its screen graphic so far due to magnetics.
Product is great. Works just as advertised. Customer service was awesome as well.
Plug and Play with USB-C from the MacBook Pro! Would not work with HP Windows with USB C. (Said no device and driver was needed)
Edit: now no signal on MacBook Pro. All of a sudden it stopped working.
Replaced another portable monitor and the Duex is def a step up! Much better picture quality and worth the $$$! Dropped it one star because it is a bit “clunky” sliding open and close.
Very lightweight and easy to use. Around 3 months, screen did not working, but I was able to get a quick replacement under the warranty! Quick and superb customer service.
Ordered when another person in my office obtained one. This has been a wonderful assistance especially when out and about with the need to monitor multiple items at once. Easily turns into 4 screens when items are shrunk to fit two per scree

As a tech enthusiast who uses a single 34” curved monitor for my workflow, traveling is a pain for losing all the screen space. I’ve been using this product for two days, and I totally love it!
Pros:
– Basically recreate my ideal 34” two-screen desk setup on the go
– Super coinvent, comparing to carry a stand alone portable monitor
– Light and thin, beautifully designed
I particularly bought this because it slides back to the center on my Razer Blade 15 after closed. Others like SideTrak Swivel protrude out from one edge and looks uneven. In my opinion this is one of the greatest sins for a product.
Cons:
– The cable could be a bit shorter or even tugged away in some way
– Some people in coffee shops will think it looks too cool to not ask you about it, interrupting the work (maybe a pro?)
Overall, stop looking around and just buy it!
It is such a good price. This is my second time to buy it.
Update: changing my review to 5 stars, for really impressive levels of customer service. I never reached out to the company, after my first screen broke, bc I figured that it was on me not them. But I left a review of 3 stars so ppl could get some perspective.
I left 3 bc the product is cool but I was left with a feeing that it was flimsy. Well a few weeks ago I recd an email from the company, apologizing for the issue and offering me a refund or another screen. This was unsolicited, they read my review and wanted to make it right. I thought that was amazing and figured I’d give the screen another shot. Turns out the key is in the mounting. If done correctly you will have zero issues. The screen I received with a box of extra magnets had the magnets aligned correctly for mounting the screen. Not only should the screen portion slide out, but the backing itself should also have some room to slide out on the magnets. It’s key. It makes 100% difference in how the screen moves mechanically and therefore it’s usability. Watch the video, call for help, but make sure you’ve got the mounting of it right. Once you do, the product works without a hitch. Like there is no way I would end up breaking the screen now, nor yet have trouble with it sagging or not sliding or bending at the hinge. Like I said in prior review, beyond the mounting the set up is “plug it into the port on your laptop”..lol super easy. Picture is great, just all good with this one. Thank you to this company, and Miya who reached out in response to my prior review. You have a great product and your customer service is excellent.

They are lightweight and have a decent picture, not hard to set up, but the way the attach to your laptop leaves a bit to be desired. Mine tended to sag toward the end of the screen and while your supposed to bend it at the joint toward you to avoid that, that isn’t very easy to do without ending up flexing the screen. Eventually during my struggle to do this the screen flexed too much and cracked so it’s now just completely useless- no picture at all. I don’t know if this is an issue with all these types of screens or no. I don’t intend to spend several hundred dollars to find out. I’m just buying a free standing one. It’s a great idea, but it’s not for everyone I guess.

I love it! Before I received the product I was concerned how I can keep the monitor safe from scratches. As soon as I attached it to my laptop, I learned that you can actually slide it back in when not in use which protects it when you’re travelling – genius
The monitor was super easy to attach and connect and has great picture quality. It’s very light and easy to transport. I use it when teaching to have the projector mirror my main screen and have all the other things I need access to on the extra monitor, which is extremely helpful!
I bought this portable monitor to use on an old laptop sitting beside my primary setup. I don’t often need 2 screens for that computer, so this option was perfect. The monitor was great at first; but, over time it gradually slid out of position because of its weight. It may stay in place better on smoother surfaces than the back of my old 2016 Acer Aspire 15, which has a little texture to it. Extra glue spots were included in the packaging, which was great! I gave up on trying to secure it because I don’t travel with it and and my workspace setup doesn’t require it to stick to the laptop. I can prop it up in place when needed.
The quality of the display is great and the setup was easy. It responds flawlessly when protracted for use.

The monitor works great – the picture is good, and it provides excellent functionality for when I want a second screen. My frustration is that it’s heavy and awkward, and therefore is difficult to use when attached directly to my laptop…sometimes making it tip over backward. I bought the kickstand for it, and I like that better – plus, I can then use this monitor with any computer, not just the one that has the magnets. I’d love to see future models that are lighter…but in the meantime, this really is handy and functional!

I work for home but I get tired of sitting in the same area. I needed dual monitor where I can sit anyway in the my home. This monitor is great and it’s definitely worth the price. Installing was easy (used USB-C) and it connected right away. It does make your laptop slightly heavy but not bad; I can still hold it in one hand. Highly recommend

If I’m not using this as my 4th screen, it’s being used as a second as I travel. I’ve been working from home since the pandemic and since then, I’ve been deciding to work from wherever but it was inconvenient to bring a whole 23″ monitor on the plane. So this here is a life saver – simple installation, great accessory, easy to extend.
Mounted and connected without difficulty. Hasn’t been used enough to assess for durability, but the mounting mechanism and other reviewers suggest handling gingerly would be best. Connected to a USB-C port requires no drivers or special set-up other than required for any second monitor. Picture quality and brightness appear fair to good and acceptable for my intended business purposes, but it would likely not be the best choice for heavily graphic-based use. The premium price reflects its niche use rather than the electronics, in my opinion.
This was a great monitor, but just too heavy for my Chromebook. If it wasnt perfectly balanced, it would cause my CB monitor to lay back or close. It also fell off the back at one point. Luckily I was standing in front of the couch so it just fell onto pillows. I am returning to get one with a stand so wont be stuck to my Chromebook.
I just plugged in the cable to my laptop and it started working immediately.
It can mirror the laptop screen and it can extend it.
I use it to extend my laptop screen. I can use totally different windows on each monitor. I used it to play two different movies on each monitor.
It is also light-weight and thin.
Installing it to the back of my laptop took less than a minute.
I can change the angle of the monitor to see the display better.
I am very happy with this monitor.

I am a two-screen person. Planning a working vacation in a few months and know I needed a solution for my laptop. I was already frustrated because I had purchased another product similar to this and could not get it to work. This one worked right out of the box. Did not have to download any drivers. Easy.

I actually really like the idea of this and it works well. The only downside is that it is a tad flimsy and it cuts off a bit of the screen. You are supposed to be able to pull the screen out and then towards you a bit so that the angel is correct. It pulls out but is wobbly. Also, maybe I have the magnets wrong but it cuts off just a tad of the right of my screen (I pull it out to the left as I have my larger monitor on the right when I use it at my office) and it cuts off the top right of the screen making it hard to minimize or close. But it is really nice having another screen when travelling. Hard to get used to that one screen when accustomed to two screens – now its even worse and I am accustomed to 3!
This product is a game changer for our business! We are able to look up and create spreadsheets without closing and opening constantly. Thank you

Totally love it, referred multiple colleagues to this monitor. The only heads up I offer is to check where you place the magnets (they glue to the back of your laptop). Directions suggested centering, however my computer needed more to the right so the monitor would extend far enough out so the screens wouldn’t “overlap”, however it was an easy 2 minute fix once I noticed and now it’s right steer I need it and I’m addicted. Definitely recommend.
I like the display but it is not as bright as the screen on my MacBook Pro. Also, the instructions for initial installation of the screen using the adhesive tabs led me to install the Due in the middle of my MacBook which did not allow the screen to extend past the edge of the MacBook so it would not pivot and the entire screen was not visible. On the third attempt, I got the positioning right. Fortunately there were extra adhesive tabs.
I should have bought this a long time ago! I’ve been working from home and it is much harder to work on my small laptop compared to the large monitor I have at my office. I was investigating portable monitors and came across this product. It works great! It was simple to attach to my laptop and setup on my computer. The only downside is that the windows and font on the monitor are rather small and I have to enlarge them.

This screen is great for extending your laptop. It’s light weight and very easy to use. The included magnets allows for quick and easy removal of screen and if you add extra magnets you can put them on another laptop to use the screen on it, or use it as a stand-alone screen if you add a stand. The image is bright and sharp. If you are looking for an easy to use extra screen, this is recommended.
I have worked from home and I need a minimum of 2 screens. I bought this screen because it can stand vertically and horizontally, either way you prefer and very easy to install. The screen resolution is good, does not have a glossy look. This monitor has USB C port for power supply. Very light and portable.
Just received this today and I am excited to see how well it does on my work travel job. I am used to 2 screens at home so I decided to buy this to keep that continuity. The instructions say to center the monitor on the back of the laptop. I decided to pull out the monitor to see how well it would work if I centered it. When I slid out the monitor it would not be able to make the turn so (with the laptop open) I moved the monitor to my right until I was able to turn it without any problems therefore it is not centered on the back of my laptop. I had to move it up (about 1/4 of an inch)to where a little sticks up & out of the top. This allows the laptop screen to lean back a little so that it is not straight up making it difficult to see. I hope to repost in a couple of weeks to inform of its performance. Right now no major issues with the monitor weighing down that side of the laptop to where the laptop falls over/leans to one side.
One thing I did notice just now is that I am not able to push to laptop screen further back if I need to because it is still not mounted high enough. I fixed that by connecting the cord to the opposite side of the laptop and running the cord under the back bottom part of the laptop. This gives just enough height in the back to allow the laptop screen to be pushed back a little further for better viewing. I have an HP laptop and the screen is 14″.
I am always working and after many years working on dual screens, I can’t work on a single. I am an Escrow Officer and over education/training – I AM ALWAYS WORKING! This screen is my saving grace when out of my office, rather on the couch or at the barn watching my son work with his show animal. It’s easy to travel with and it turns into a third screen when hooked to dual setup – you will then want another one. Trust me and buy this now! It pays for itself, I promise.

I love this product. I work in healthcare and often need multiple programs running at once. This helped me work at home more efficiently. The screen is a little heavy when I’m working in bed. However, with the kickstand, it’s a breeze. Tech support is great. It was so easy to set up and very portable. I must have had 5 or 6 people taking pictures of the product so they could purchase it, including my boss.
Ordered a Plus; but the merchant informed that they were out of Plus and asked me if a Pro works. Who wouldn’t love a free upgrade then?
Quite impressed by the design of the screen, easily flipped back and forth with a sliding bar. The stand (with the magnet) is a bonus so that I could set it up next to my laptop more easily. The resolution of this little gadget is wonderful and I am amazed to watch youtube videos seamlessly on it. Two types of cords are included in the box (typical USB and type-c) that fit the need for me. A bit pricy but overall it turned out to be valuable and I love using it. (I feel the screen is slightly smaller than is advertised; but I might be wrong anyway.)
Installation and set up was very simple and sliding the screen out to use works like a charm. When I am out with my laptop it has been so nice to pull up a web page or notes while I am working on a slide deck or typing an email. Can imagen going back to having only one small laptop screen again, highly recommend for people who love to multitask.
Pros:
1. The resolution is full HD, which matches my original screen’s resolution. So, when porting a window to the monitor, you hardly notice the difference in terms of the texture of the image. On top of that, I found out the brightness control works seamlessly on my ASUS laptop. When turned to the max. brightness, the portable monitor is as bright as my original screen, and that does not make these two screens “competing” for my attention. More importantly, it helps my eyes to adjust to both screens with ease.
2. Easy installation. Super easy to attach the monitor to the back of the screen and I was amazed at the adhesiveness of those small round stickers.
3. The design is sleek! A lot of my friends at school kept asking me what the black-board was on the back of my laptop’s screen. Whenever I slide the monitor out, “WOW’s” was inevitable. The monitor’s super thin and works great on my 15-inch ASUS screen.
Cons:
1. I wish the monitor be wireless; had to always bring the connection cord (super short and light though) along.
2. Detaching it from the back of the screen seems to be difficult (maybe it is not supposed to be used by the side of the laptop? Or maybe I am missing some tips on the detachment of this monitor)
Overall, I’d highly recommend this portable monitor to whoever wants to have a second screen for work; and most importantly, I enjoy working with two screens when I can just pull out this monitor from the back of my laptop’s screen, which saves a lot of space and makes me more productive.
This monitor very cool. It is exactly look like in the picture above. It is convenience, it easily attaches to the lid of my laptop. The picture quality isn’t quite as nice as on my laptop, but it’s near and more than adequate for my requirements. I’m feel very happy, worth with my purchase.
The screen is amazing. It works perfectly with my mbp and even on my iPad. It gets power from the connected device. I am using it as a presentation show screen. Also, the screen has a gravity-sensing function. The cable is type-c with USB-A adapter.

This product is perfect for my online classes! Recently, I started taking notes on my laptop at a weekly meeting with my community. Some people would Zoom in, while the rest would sit around the table as we talk for an hour. It used to be very awkward having to type and rotate the same screen for rest of table to see the person talking on Zoom. But with the duex plus, I finally don’t have to do that anymore! This is awesome.
Although the monitor was not working properly out of the box, this company immediately took action and sent a new one without any problems. Very impressed by their response and the need to show customers that they have a great product!
It is plug&play if you connect the monitor to a Type-C on the laptop. The image and color is great! It does add a little extra weight to my laptop. Not only has it helped me in being more productive, I am already considering buying a second one! Highly recommend!
The product arrived earlier than expected…AWESOME! The reviews were I thought too good to be true but so far; easy setup, great picture quality, conceals nicely in computer bag protecting the screen and it’s made my work experience more productive. I highly recommend.
This is my second Mobile Pixels screen. I like my first one so much that I had to get one for my other laptop. I got the Duex Plus because it’s a little larger (13.3″ vs 12.5″). What surprised me though was the improvement they made to the magnetic bracket.
The Duex Plus has smaller magnets, but they hold the screen in place better because the magnets go inside these little tracks on the back of the bracket (you can see it in the product photos). This is awesome because the other models with the larger metal discs slide up and down on them. The Duex Plus stays in place vertically and that is awesome!
Now I can sit on my balcony with a laptop of extra screens. This is a great invention. Quick to set up and super useful! I highly recommend it.
PS: the original package without the bulky Amazon box was a nice surprise. Feels great when you contribute one less waste to this green earth.
