Gives you exactly the power specified in full sun. A little flimsy to stand up if at all windy but that is the downside of having it so light weight and portable I guess.

I have yet to test this equipment in all seriousness and I will be editing this review accordingly.
However, for now, what I can tell you is that what you get is a very portable, versatile and lightweight system for an apparently fair price. that is to say that, so far, I’m not unimpressed.
Watch this review and I’ll tell you how I get on.

Love the lightness of the panel and the little pocket to store the cables and controller on the move. Kicks out enough to keep a 12v battery charging and levels out and keeps the charge if cloudy. Only downside is no stand so has to be lent up against something but knew that when purchased so no major issue. Could do with a stand being a little less expensive and a little more portable than the one you can buy for it. Overall a decent buy

simple to use… I used the 160w solar panel to charged portable power station battery through the day it had enough to power to fully charge the power station… which then ran the lights , charged phones, tablets, ect on the evening

Leider sieht mein Solarsystem etwas used aus.

After the leisure batteries in my campervan struggled whilst off grid,I purchased the 160w which has kept the battery at 13.8 watts

First 100w panel was only producing 50ish watts. I hadn’t realised that this was nowhere near what it should produce until I spoke to knowledgeable people. 10 months on I contacted the supplier, I gave them the test results they requested and they sent me a new panel. The new panel reached 75 watts, I tested the old panel in the same light 45 watts.
Things do go wrong but it was the superb customer service I received that will make me come back and buy more products from the…. First class

Brought the 100W version as it was the cheapest and didn’t know what I needed. Gave It a quick try for about an hour and It seems fine. Always enough power for the USB’s but struggled with the leisure battery when sun went behind a cloud.
Good piece of kit that does what I want but wish I’d gone for the bigger version to do it better.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersWhen I saw this I was very surprised by its light weight and slim size. However it packs a punch. Charged my almost dead caravan battery at the same time as my phone and my solar generator. Highly recommend this.

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersTheses panels are really effective, charge control unit is simple and clear too. They kept my caravan battery constantly charged whilst off grid and we used a lot of battery power, shower, lights, TV, Sat and a 2000w inverter.
Only reason not for 5 stars is the panels don’t have support legs and you end up propping them against things.

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersFor the money this is a good solar charging solution. It is very lightweight – I can lift it with a finger and thumb – and came with a controller/regulator and some flexible cable options.

It could do with 2 of the connector to bare wire cables instead of 1, in case your use-case isn’t to use croc clips to connect to your battery all the time. But, other than that it is well equipped.

I have a power station that I could plug the panel straight into and it started charging. When using the panel with the contoller and plugging in my mobile phone and tablet it produced enough power with some clouds in the sky to charge them both up.

My only real complaints are that it doesn’t have a kickstand so you have to just lay it on the floor (or a big enough table), and there aren’t any anchor points except the carry handles to tie it down with. For something most likely to be used for camping, a couple of eyelets to pin it to the ground would’ve made a big difference.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersI bought this solar panel fold up set for our campervan to charge our Beudans battery pack
I had a brainwave so I put it the garden in hazy sunshine today and whilst at home it can charge the battery bank and this in turn can charge all our phones and tablets, tools and camera batteries too. All free with a little sunshine!
Definitely will be brilliant for off grid campervan trips or when we don’t want to pay for electric hook up

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersAlthough the sun has not shone much at all where I live the usb outputs are working well enough to charge my power-banks, both 10,000, 20,000 and 30,000 model’s with no issues which I then use to power my phones, rechargeable lights, tablet and CCTV rechargeable camera’s.

Can’t wait to fully try it to it’s limits whenever the sun makes a full appearance.

I have two other expensive 200watt solar panels joined up together, so 400watts from a well know (overhyped) manufacture that won’t even power up the usb ports at all when placed in the same position and overcast conditions as this Dokio 100watt panel that does power the usb ports.

The obvious question to the other manufacture from me was why?
The reply came because the panels must be in “Full Sun” and at the optimal angle to work!!

Bought this for use when camping off grid as our fridge is a compressor type so we are limited to how long we can camp without electric whilst staying in one place.
Have used it during the day and it was getting enough power to keep fridge happy overnight.
Some of the connectors could do with being a little longer but apart from that totally happy.
It folds down nice and small and the pocket is large enough to hold everything and a longer wire. Usually these sort of pockets are too small to be usable. We may buy some type of plastic sheath to protect edge when outside the van.

One improvement would be to have fixed loops at corners so it can be secured with tent pegs to stop it potentially blowing in the wind. And would like to find something to cover the tape edges to keep it clean.

    Happy with it though.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersBrought this for camping I have a leisure battery in my small trailer after setting up my tent I put the Solar panel on the top and connect it to the battery then connect my battery to my sinewave converter that is in my tent. blows my beds up runs my lights my radio and charges my phones and connects to my laptop to watch streaming programs. its like a home from home but with the views of the world when I’m ready to move on I just disconnect fold up and I’m off. The down side can blow away so a bit of rope and its safe other down side would like to have seen some stand so can angle towards sun but still charges when its flat on my trailer. lastly why no connector for the light. On my wish list I would of light the solar power station but are out of my price range so if anyone would like me to review there’s feel free to send it p.s but I will only give honest review.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersBought on amazon.de (cheaper) but relied on .co.uk for reviews. Using this to keep my portable power station topped up.

Took out to test, wintery day but bright sun and it was generating 80w according to the power station. Placement also wasn’t optimal. Happy with this performance as my power station will only draw a max of 100w anyway and I’m sure with proper placement and a summers day when it’ll see most use it’ll supply the full 100w charging the power station as fast as it can. I purposefully over-provisioned by getting the 150w knowing they never get 100% efficiency.

2 points where this falls down and loses a star; other reviews and pictures noted D-rings on the front of the panel so you could tie/hook it up, mine doesn’t have these. Also there is no rear kick stand so it has to be propped against something so you may not be able to get fully optimal placement. It does seem well made and the carry straps are strong so I may be able to lash it to our tent or trailer using these.

Golden Review Award: 5 From Our UsersUnfortunately I had to return the panel for a refund which had a dent on the cells. As the damage was on the face of the panel it can only have been missed by not inspecting them before despatch. I would have taken an exchange for a new undamaged panel but the only option was a refund minus the promotional voucher I had 🙁

The panels were well packaged and wrapped with foam. The panels fold with the cells facing together. There was nothing between the panels to cause a dent.

Update – DOKIO contacted me and sent a new replacement panel. Great communications and a good company to deal with.

Golden Review Award: 8 From Our UsersComes in a zip up cover, so good for storage and protection when not in use. I bought it for the leisure battery in a motorhome and it kept it charged for a week of off grid.
Can’t run a 12v fridge off the battery though it’s fine for lights, water pump and small 12v TV. Has USB sockets for phone charging.
Connection to the battery is with crocodile clips which are pretty flimsy. I replaced them with proper connections.
The instructions are in poor English and you’d need to be an electrician to understand them anyway. The control box has a number of functions which aren’t that clear.

Our van runs a Waeco fridge etc and the usual other electrics. This thing comfortably charges our leisure battery. On a sunny day we easily achieved 8.8amp charging and on cloudy days were getting 2.5 – 4.5amps. Nice and easy to use, clear instructions (some incorrect spelling but easy enough to understand) quick to put up and pack away with a nice storage pocket on the front once folded away to pop the wiring and control box in. Golden Review Award: 25 From Our UsersTurned up on time and took no time at all to get up and running. I ordered an extension cable to be able to put the panel further away from the controller/battery separately (the cable from the controller to the battery is fairly short, the cable from the panel to the controller is 3 metres) and I’m glad I did as I can now move the panel around to follow the sun with little restriction.
Performance has been great on the tests I’ve done. On a cloudy late afternoon the panel was producing just over 19v and, when hooked up to my leisure battery with a compressor fridge running, was pulling just over 4a – so, basically, I was getting about 76 watts. Given that these were less than perfect conditions and I’d not taken much time to really point the panel directly at the sun I think this is as good as you could ask for. I’ve no doubt that on a sunny day with a bit more time taken to get the panel facing in the right direction I’d get close to the max rating.
It’s all pretty lightweight, the cables and controller pack away into a pouch on the fabric bag protecting the panels themselves, so tucking it all away somewhere and moving it around as is needed isn’t a problem.
I can’t comment on the longevity or durability (much of which would be dependant on how you treat it!) but for the price even if it only lasts for a couple of years it’s reasonable value. I’d happily buy another.

5.0 out of 5 stars For the price, brilliant.
