I was recommended Synergy by a friend – I found the suit to be perfectly sized for me and it’s clearly great quality.
The neoprene is supple but in several weeks of use I have not had any dings or rips.
Warm in water close to 20c, chilly when it’s closer to 15c.
Pleasing lack of logos, the subtlety is good.
Very happy with purchase, got what I wanted with it, bargain for price.
Perfect for open water swimming. Size guide was accurate. Good rotation and flex to swim comfortably. Highly recommend A +++
This was the fourth wetsuit I tried on and the only one with which I was successful. It is still a bit of a struggle, particularly closing the zip, but this is more a matter of my anatomy than the wetsuit. Returning the wetsuit that did not fit was surprisingly easy and I was given a credit immediately.
Had to send a couple back to get the right size. I’m 5.8 and stocky. So ended up with the LS size and it fit great. Where it 2/3 times a week for open water swimming in the sea and lake. Can’t really fault it.
Having read other reviews they all commented on how inaccurate the sizing was so I” sized up “, still too small and by a long way
Firstly I would say that although I had to send 2 back because they were too small, each time I was refunded promptly and the replacement was sent very punctually without any dramas, so cant fault the service. Equally the suits feel well made and good quality.
On the size side though, the sizes matrix just seems way out, I am 171cm tall and consistently 68kg and am in pretty good shape. I ordered S3 to start with as was at the bottom end of the ranges, very, very tight squeeze and no chance of getting the zip done up. Sent that back and went for M3, still way too tight and then getting too long.
Gave it one last chance and went for MS, I can get this on and overall feels about right, but according to the chart this is for someone weighing at least 86kg, which is nearly 20kg more than me. Overall, my advice would be if you are under 5’9″, get MS, unless you are unaturally skinny!
4 stars because I havent actually used it yet, just wanted to post the sizing advice to stop anyone else going through my journey.
Don’t panic! persevere it will fit eventually. Curses at first as I struggled to get into it ! Initially thought it was going back as felt to tight to actually swim in it, however as the instructions say it did give more in the water.
Have only used it once but don’t see me having any other issues.
Excellent suit first timer with it gets you high in the water great fit . Yes there are less costly suits, the smooth suit is the way to go no doubts at all it fits neat with sizing so you will feel the squeeze.. So if you don’t want that go for a next size.. eg 38″ M1
Whatever you do, SIZE UP. Great product but so tight if you’re not of slim build. When I say tight, I mean impossible to get on if you follow the size guide.
What a great wetsuit. It is so comfortable for swimming. It’s lightweight and dries really quickly. The sizing is spot on, it fits like a glove. I highly recommend this wetsuit. I was a bit dubious at first because it’s cheaper than a lot of other comparable suits, however the quality is fantastic.

What an amazing product, it’s unlike any wetsuit I’ve ever owned.
You quite literally roll this garment on, as it truly is like wearing a second skin but once on you’ll be amazed at the feel and flexibility.
I used the sizing guide and found it accurate but as some have said, it is tighter in the upper body and shoulders but once inside the effort is worth it!
Synergy is definitely my first choice in future!

El traje se ajusta perfectamente, mido 1.78 m y peso 78kg, uso la talla M2. Lo he usado para nadar en el mar mediterrneo, costa de Malaga, temperatura del agua entre 15 y 17 grados centgrados en octubre. Sin pasar frio, no molesta en los hombros ni cuello, buena flotabilidad y aislamiento trmico.
It’s a fine wetsuit, good buoyance and thermal insulation. I ordered M2 size, suits perfectly and comfortably. I’m 1.78 meters tall and 78kg. I use to swim in the Mediterranean sea (Malaga’s cost), when sea water temperatures are between 15 and 17 Celsius degrees in October (don’t feel any cold). When swimming does not bother on shoulders or neck.
Bought as a second wet suit well impressed both quality and performance just shows you don’t have to spend hundreds of pounds to get quality

Well I’m extremely satisfied with my purchase, although I’m so relieved I bought the next size-up.
It’s a great wet suit for the money, so I’m glad I persevered, but it seems they are designed for slender men. The lack of chest size in the size guide could be a problem.
If you have biggish shoulders, then a size or 3 up might be needed!
Happy with it now. Easy enough to return with amazon so no real harm done.
