I got this for my nephew, he is only 8 but I wanted something very fast and that can drift, he literally worked out all of the settings straight away, left us adults driving the car into the walls, he absolutely love this car A++++
This was a lot of fun to use and with the supplied sets of wheels it copes on most flat surfaces.
I would recommend it.
Ended up buying one, now have one for each member of the family!
Our 5 and 7 year old get on with them great on the slower speed setting (3 speed settings) my 10 year likes medium and high settings, for me the high setting is brilliant.
My other half enjoys now joining me and the kids on the slower setting, its a great car to learn with and great and for the more experienced can really have some fun with too.
Battery life is amazing, if its not on the highest speed setting can have them running a good hour to two hours on lowest setting, 20-30 min on highest, just depends what your doing with it.
Also love the fact you get two sets of wheels, lithium batterys, have ball bearings and there really forgiving, the younger ones have hit them had but they just keep going, lights and all. Like the fact also its basic a propper rc model so the kids are learning maintenance and changing wheels.
My friends, family and neighbours have been asking about them after getting them so looking like we’re going to have a mini club going at this rate, and thats another good thing, they all program individually so can run loads of cars at once.
We also run them on concrete, tarmac, block paving (can catch when sliding if unevenly laid), laminate, tiles, carpet (not tried thick pile, but make sure floors are clean of long hair as can get wrapped around axles and reduce battery life which i found out the hard way, not too bad to remove though, just quick wheel off job), grass is ok if short but drift tires will get stuck, gravel (also no good for drift tires) pretty much unstoppable with the 4 wheel drive, tough terrain does reduce battery life though, smoother the better.

Love it, it runs great straight out of the box. The battery life is a bit short (15 mins) but it comes with a spare so not a drama for what your paying and what the car delivers. Build quality is first rate. Highly recommended

It has definitely maintained my best uncle status!
Son loved it as it did what he wanted it to do but unfortunately the socket didnt fit the nuts very well and he struggled to remove the wheels and one time he lost a wheel nut so we had to buy more. Then the lights became detached and didn’t work anymore and Amazon’s answer was just to return it which we did. Son was reluctant to send it back as he loved it but the return policy was very quick and easy and refund almost instant! We did have to pay any post and I was very impressed with this service! Unfortunately the car had increased in price but Amazon gave us the difference which was amazing as we were going to get the same car again but then we noticed at the higher price another car which has loads of reviews and much better so have ordered that one instead now! Fingers crossed!! And its same manufacturer anyways so hopefully happy days!!
This is a really fun little thing to play around with, well worth the money and I’m amazed there aren’t more reviews of it!
For the money I don’t think you can find better!
