Worked out of the box . I will keep looking for one that has a solar panel on a cord so panel and then the sensor can be mounted where conditions are best for both, just like my solar lights

This alarm system was relatively easy to set up and they work as expected! One does seem to have some water in it and was bing bonging a lot more then normal. But, I brought it inside to dry and hopefully it starts working normally. I do wish they could be louder but, I know if a vehicle, person, or animal is heading up to the house.

I’ve had this installed for just over two months, turned off during the day, but on at night covering a car and out building. At 4.30am this morning it went off, waking me, and looking out of the window I could see a guy trying to break the out building padlock. Because it’s a silent sensor outside he had no idea that I had seen him. Opening the window quietly I let out an almighty yell and you could see him jump. He shot off down the road at some speed, no doubt with badly stained trousers. These sensors have already paid for themselves and I cannot fault them. Worth every penny. Brilliant.

Real simple setup, good instructions and well packaged. Found it to be exactly what I wanted and needed to alert of any motion entering driveway. Will see how it holds up as I only have had it installed for a week.

Installed at gate 130 metres (about 426 feet) from house with water tanks and trees in-between and it has worked very well thus far with no false triggers. It has been subject to extreme weather conditions with rain, small hail and strong winds. At this stage I couldn’t be happier.

    UPDATE***
We ended up having major issues with our sensors with rain water leaking into the seams and malfunctioned, I ended contacting Amazon and the seller then contacted me and replaced both of my sensors!
For the ghost dings we ended up changing the sensor sensitivity and that seemed to help.

I liked them at the beginning but now 2 weeks in all I get is ghost dings, so frustrating! Ive moved them to opposite sides, different spots and still getting the ghost dings.
    Really bummed :/

Now were 3 weeks in and the sensor has water in the unit and its going wacko. Sending it back for a refund !

All four of the sensors work great. Second season and still perform well. The furthest distance is about 300 feet and goes through 3 walls to get to the receiver. Easy to program, with excellent location description choices.

We got these driveway alarms for gate-guarding in the Texas Oilfields. They work great but with their one push button, it is fairly hard to set them up and know what settings they are on. You have to push the single button a certain number of times to set it and then you don’t know what setting it’s on. We like the range these work at. Another set we have will only reach 30 feet. These are rated for 70 feet which is great for wider roads.

Never get false rings, have it at about 1/3 mile down our driveway. Didn’t work any farther because of a hill. Way to many ring options…would rather just have some basic sounds than all the razzle dazzle. Some birds and weeds have set it off, but it was easy to get the weed taken care of; the birds were mostly just annoying and we unplugged it until the crows weren’t around anymore.

Easy to set up with plenty of customisation. Sensor is at waist height, about 400m away through forest and triggers fine. Detects vehicles as well as pedestrians at default sensitivity. Few false positives – probably close birds or wallabies. Product meets the need for which it was purchased so hopefully the batteries/panel will hold out.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersI have an installation on my driveway where I have 2 of these, but the older version. Hurricane Ian filled one with water but the other survived. They have been installed for 6 years with no problem. I contacted the manufacturers to get a replacement and they sent me one of this version. Setup on the old receiver was simple and quick. Installation took seconds, then the testing started for range and coverage. It was totally stable, no false alarms, but the sensitivity was so high it detected the garbage truck around the corner. Switch off and press the button 3 times for low sensitivity and no more long range alarms. It has been running for a couple of days now in brilliant sunshine and in thick fog. Nothing gets down my driveway without my knowing it. I highly recommend these sensors

This was exactly as described. It’s easy to install. Just takes a little time to tweak it to get it like you want. I used it in both ends of my driveway. I still don’t have it tweaked so the deer don’t set it off. I do like it that the seller emails you to make sure you’re happy with what you got. I’d recommend this to anyone that wants to know if someone is entering your driveway or something else

So far had issues with the receiver but the company has been very nice and helpful and my replacement receiver should be here anytime then I can rate this product thoroughly. Very satisfied with customer service
Update Will write a new review later. Contacted customer support, had a bad reciever. They immediately shipped a new one, no charge, and now the system is up and working. Very satisfied. This was recommended to us by family and we recommend it for others. So far very useful on our ranch. It helps alert us when the coyotes are coming into the horses, cows, chickens… yes we have dogs but not outside permanently and when it’s cold they are inside. Bet I can teach my dog’s to listen for the tone and go check what’s outside for us..

Originally when received the transmitter not working, contact customer service and was sent out replacement unit. Great Customer Service and product installed and working perfectly. We have 100 ft driveway and the unit is installed and letting us know. We originally had it set up for high intensivity, and adjusted to low, and now it works perfectly. Would buy again.
Just remember to charge before installing the unit outdoors, and adjust sensitivity level prior to installing it.

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersArrived a day early, all parts included for installation. I charged both units, programmed them easily to the receiver and assigned them alert tones. Easy to install on a couple of trees, they are getting a mix of sun and rain, mostly rain and holding their power after over a week in use. I wish their was a mute feature or one click lower volume adjustment, but it’s not horribly loud on the lowest setting.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersI live in the middle of the forest and used to be surprised by unexpected vehicles but not longer. We appreciate this as it gives us time to prepare for whoever it is. We set up 2 alerts on the driveway because when alert #1 & 2 both go off someone is here. When only 1 goes off it usually means a dear or turkey has passed by.
The alert that is closest to the house (#1) gets more sun than the 1 down the driveway (#2) so on consecutive cloudy days alert #2 doesn’t always work. This is not the fault of the system. We are thinking about getting 2 more alerts, so yes I highly recommend this product.

Golden Review Award: 8 From Our UsersRecently after almost 2 years my sensor which I installed to alert someone entering my driveway wasn’t alerting as it always had. I did some trouble shooting & researched Q & A on the product. I felt the solar battery had finally gone bad & one answer did indicate the battery could be replaced. I opened the sensor but the battery was so encased in the unit I was unable to go further. I then found the companies contact info. which was only via email. I reached out to them with my issue & received a very prompt & caring response. After following their suggestion on a possible solution the unit still wasn’t alerting. My communications were with Robin & she had offered that if my problem continued I should request a replacement sensor which would be promply sent to me. Ultimately I did make that request & as promised & without hesitation or delay I was sent a replacement Motion Sensor replacement which I received within days. I was able to activate the new sensor with my existing receiver & it now works perfectly & I have that peace of mind again. I write this because I am pleased with this product but the main take away here is the excellant, prompt, curtious customer service I received from Robin. Customer service is a big priority with me & not all companies understand its significance. Even though the communication is via email it went very quickly & successfully & for that I thank Robin & HTZSafe.

Golden Review Award: 5 From Our UsersI really like the first set of these sensors, so much so that I bought a second set and for the most part they work really good , but
It’s solar powered, so if it’s a cloudy day and if you have time you might want to charge them inside if possible.
They’ve saved me twice when someone was in my driveway in the middle of the night.
So yes I highly recommend them.
As if anything solar powered they may be days where they may not work as well because they may not be fully charged.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersSo far I am VERY happy with the driveway alarm. It does what it is supposed to do, although I wish there was a way to stop the stray cat and occasional wild animal from setting it off at midnight. It never misses a car or human in the driveway and it makes it easier to greet visitors at the door when I know when they arrive BEFORE ringing my doorbell. Installation was a breeze and it looks neat. And best of all NO WIRES!!!!

This product is amazing, I bought this because my car keeps getting vandalised an soon as someone come close to the car an under the car port where I park it the alarm goes off an I actually catched someone I don’t know going to the car , great price great security, works a charm an I plug the alarm next to my head so in case someone come during the night . Bonus you don’t even have to charge it , it’s solar power an if in the winter you even get a charger to charge up however I’ve never had to do that because even in winter you get sunny days .

I like to know when I have a visitor whether it is the postman, a neighbour or delivery. It pings in time for me to look up from my computer and register a visitor, and it pings when they leave. This is helpful as there are three entrances here. Being on the mains and photovoltaic frees up maintenance time, and so far no-one has noticed the sender unit, they just think I am psychic!

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersWorks a treat. Positioned the sensors around the ouTside of the house and get alerts if someone or something is approaching. But of a fiddle to get the sounds working and you have to remember which unit is which to match up the sounds. Plug in unit has good signal to sensors even around thick walls. No issue with keeping charged as solar panels seem to keep the units charged well even on dull days

This driveway alarm arrived very promptly and I am really pleased with it. My previous alarm of a different make had stopped working after about 10 years and of course I missed it greatly. In researching what else was available I came across the ATZSAFE which from reviews seemed to be good. Sure enough I had it installed the day it arrived and found it very easy to set up and program. It works perfectly and provides effective and reliable warning of someone entering my drive. The signal easily reaches both the receivers through the thick walls of my house and in my separate workshop, 200 metres distance. I had no reason to contact the provider for any help but I believe he is very good and very helpful. Not only am I delighted with this product but my neighbor, having seen mine, bought one and also installed his the day he received it. Ideal for rural Cumbria. Thanks HTZSAFE

There are my quick pros and cons for this product:

    Pro:

    Up to four sensors
    Good sensitivity and range
    Loud ringer
    Decent build quality
    Simple setup

    Con:

Solar not enough for UK sunlight
Only charges via USB (much slower than mains)

    ——————-

This unit comes in three parts, the two sensors and the alert/ringer. All are made primarily of plastic, which for the sensors is good as they will primarily be outdoors.

They come with a ball and socket swivel so you can direct the beam exactly where you want it. Mounting is the usual affair, and it would be relatively easy to integrate this into an already-existing mounting system on your property.

There are only a couple of buttons on the sensors, one is on/off the other is for changing the setting (sensitivity). The units have a good range of sensitivity settings, enough for any needed situation. Obviously some sort of digital readout on the units would make the setup easier, but cost and waterproofing are a factor here.

The ringer/monitor audio is adjustable up to very loud with a variety of mostly annoying rings. The unit can have up to 4 sensor units linked to it, and lights up whenever one is triggered, showing the number clearly.

Charging is via USB or solar, and this is where the problems start. If you rely purely on the solar power, the unit will last one day. When night falls, it will lose power. The light in the UK is simply not bright enough to keep this powered for even one night. And that’s in the summer. In the winter with short nights there’s no chance of any decent amount of charging. The panels no doubt top up the battery a little, so it’s worth having them for that function, but the product is misleading in portraying it as ‘solar powered’.

The USB cable is therefore required, but another problem arises here; if the unit is outdoors you generally aren’t going to run a long USB out to a product. A DC connection would have made much more sense, and there are plenty of outdoor power products that could be used for this. The reality is that they are using USB as a cost-saving measure. In reality this means you have to take the units off the mounts and bring them indoors to charge. If you had four of the units I could see this being a real chore.

The upside of this cheap approach to the design is that the system itself is much cheaper than ‘pro’ level equipment. A fraction of the cost, in fact.

Overall, for those who want a basic motion sensor setup, this works well, just expect to be charging regularly, and just treat the solar aspect as a small percentage of ‘free’ power during each day. Four stars.

I have installed one on my driveway and the other one on my back garden to check for any trespassers.
    – easy to install without wiring or drilling
    – solar powered, can be installed anywhere without the need for a power outlet.
    – 2 sensors give effective detection. Also can be used various other places than on driveway
    – being weatherproof is essential in UK weather
    – Long range
A useful addition to my home security.

The Solar wireless alarm Motion detection is very easy to set up. This comes with two sensors and one receiver, Which when reading through the description of HTZSAFE-EU can be expanded to 4 senses and an unlimited amount of receivers. In the box you receive 2 X sensors, 1 X receiver with UK3 pin plug, 4 X mounting brackets, 2 X USB charging cables, 2 X installation screws and raw plugs plus manual. I have attached a video to show you all of the box contents and measurements of the receiver and sensor whilst I also demonstrate how quick and easy it is to set up this system. The receiver has four adjustable volume levels and a choice of 35 different melody tones to choose from. The receiver has 4LED lights to alert you which zone sensor has been triggered, and each different sensor will alert you with a different melody tone. I personally found the majority of the melody tones something I wouldn’t personally choose, but this all depends on the individual. When we was first setting up the solar wireless alarm system we wanted to make sure that the sensors were fully charged so we decided to charge it with the included USB cables, Which plugs into the back of the sensors by removing the red Gromits. (Make sure you put the grommets in a safe place as they are needed to be put back in after charging). We chose a position to place one of the sensors for optimum Motion detection coverage of the driveway and also taking into consideration for daylight charging capability. We positioned the second sensor in the rear garden, Also taking into consideration daylight charging.I have set the sensors to max sensitivity which is all controlled by one button on the back of the sensor by clicking The power on and off button a certain amount of times. We have tested the motion detection in daylight and at night time which works very well in detecting movement. The driveway sensor was detecting movement at 60 feet Away, It may go further but that is our limitation of driveway area. The motion sensors are now alerting my friend when someone has set foot on his front driveway, which has gave him a little more peace of mind as he does have several expensive vehicles. We are very happy with this solar wireless alarm motion detection system, As it seems to be working very well with Long summer days but not sure about in the winter times. That’s when the included USB cable will come in handy so HTZSAFE-EU have already thought of this.

I have been looking for one of these drive way alarms for a while. Not so much for my drive but for my back garden. There have been a couple robberies in recent months and entry point has been back garden. I have a 150ft garden and have placed one sensor at the end and another in the middle… when they both go off I know someone is in the garden! Works perfect and easy to setup and install.

Would recommend and has multiple uses, one obviously being a drive way alarm!

Whilst we have a number of lights that fire into action at night, this HTZSafe Driveway alarm has provided a welcome boost to our security measures … without looking too obvious.

We have a longish drive that we can’t see the end off and not visible from my home office. The first thing we know about a visitor is when the doorbell goes so a bit of extra notification is a boon.

It is very easy to set up, not overly obvious, the simple plug-in module for the house is a doddle to use.

The choice of alerts is a bit like the TV at the moment, loads of options but nothing you really want but we have settled on a simple tone.

Pretty good value for money I think.

I had a single sensor one but wanted another sensor for the back enters but could not get just the sensor and add it so when I show this one with 2 sensors I had to get it. This is great, it helps us keep track of anyone coming to the front door before they can ring the doorbell.

The alarm part plugs into a standard socket, it has 4 volume levels and a variety of chimes 35 unique chimes allow you to change ring tones freely. Unit is 50 feet from the front door and works great, nice to Know when someone comes through our gate.

easy to pair other sensors/receivers if you follow instructions to the letter (set melody first though). Good detection range/angle and as solar PIR no messing with batteries. One sensor in shade with guttering part covering solar panel and still seems to charge/work just fine. An only slight niggle is that there are way too many melodies to scroll through. Just dump the tacky tunes and have a good selection of chimes or dings, it’s not a doorbell after all…

We have a long driveway leading up to our house so we don’t always know when someone is here. This driveway alarm gives us extra security and allows us to look out the window/get out to them to see what they are up to!
It was very easy to set up, and being solar it is very handy that you don’t need to go out replacing batteries all the time. It comes with lots of annoying jingles to alert you when someone/vehicle/animal crosses the beam and the volume goes up very loud. We have set it just loud enough so that it wakes us up if someone comes down in the night. Great for peace of mind.

This is great invention. This product could help many people, I can see that… We mount the solar powered sensor on the place we want to be “monitored”. The black device we plug into socket (setting up the volume and ringtone). When someone enters the monitored area, the melody will come on so we know to stay alert.
This product will work for properties with bigger gardens, driveways. Definitely not somewhere where door are on the pavement and random people passes by (melody will play all day long like this).
This product is really loud, so it could come in handy for people with reduced hearing. This alert tool can help people with some disabilities, give them few more seconds to go to the door before visitor ring the bell. It helps to alert us when we dont expect anyone to come, or the person is intruder.
Product is well built and fit for purpose. We checked does the sensor detects movement (body temperature basically, temperature greater than air that day) and it does. It’s good at it.
We could add 3 more sensors to take full advantage of this detector as 4 in total can be used. Each sensor will represents one number on the plugged device. The one I have, automatically been matched with number 1 on plug device. Second sensor will be as number 2 so we need to work out which area we want to cover most with sensors and later to remember which sensor is for which number. It may sound a bit complicated but in reality it’s not. It’s pretty easy to set it all up.
The additional sensors can be purchased separately.
For our needs this product is good and I would recommend it.

Our doorbell is wired in and the box in the house that makes the noise is right by the front door. This means when we are at the other side of the house we cannot hear the door bell. We needed something wireless that could alert us wherever we were and could be moved between rooms.

This includes a very easy to mount solar powered sensor for your driveway or entrance way. It uses a beam to sense when somebody crosses it. This is coupled with a receiver unit that plugs directly into a standard plug socket. The outdoor sensor charges using a small solar panel on the top of it although it does come with a charger cable to charge via USB if needed. Ours has been in place for over a week and has worked fine using solar power alone.

The range is really good. We have massive thick walls in our house and it works through two of those at a distance of around 20m. I can’t speak to for claimed range on the product page but in my real world use, it has been flawless.

The only annoying thing about it is the choice of jingles. Some of them are just plain irritating but you do have 35 to choose from but we stick with the standard ding dong jingle. The volume on it ranges from pretty loud to extremely loud. If you have a young child and value your sanity, set this up whilst they are out or you’ll end up cycling through every jingle and full volume, like we did.

We only have one sensor but you can add up to 4 off the one plug in receiver. The receiver has 4 numbers on it and flashes along with the jingle to tell you which receiver has set it off.

I know the obvious competitors are video door bells but this is a lot cheaper and doesn’t require any complex installation. For us, who don’t need to see who is there, just that somebody is at the door, it does exactly what it says on the tin.

Is it so sensitive to movements that even a sheet of paper falling from the tree causes the alarm to go away? (or maybe because it was exposed to the direct sun) … I think that if it is placed directly in the sun it makes a false alarm. I had to move it where there are fewer trees where there is less sun and also put it higher because my dog passes by .

Yesterday and today it rained and I had a chance to test it even so … okay at the moment. There are 2 sensors in the package but 4 to have a square area all guarded would be waw.
Color I don’t like it but is fine because it doesn’t attract attention …
It is also easy to assemble and just choose for each sensor one of the 4 channels that has 4 different ringtones so I know in which side of the property there was a movement.

This is absolutely perfect for my needs in fact there isn’t anything out there more perfect. I was looking for solutions to kerp my Dad from leaving home in the night as he has dementia. I caught him outside one night completely by chance at 2. 30am. I have now fitted door alarms and I was looking for a reliable driveway alarm in case he manages to get round the door alarms. He was an engineer so could easily work out how to get round them.

You basically screw a base plate to wherever you are siting it outside. Fittings are supplied. Then there’s a swivel ball that attaches to that then the outdoor sensor.
The sensor is brown so not readily obvious to visitors or intruders. It’s paired with a receiver that’s plugged in inside.
The sensor is solar powered and there’s USB back up for cloudy periods. When a person is detected an alarm is heard inside.
It can detect up to 800 feet although I don’t need that far so I point it more downwards.

It’s also been great for when royal mail quickly scribble a sorry we missed you card and run for it without even ringing the bell. Now we know someone is on the drive before they can do that. Also a few years ago I disturbed a burglar trying the patio doors at the back at 2pm in the afternoon. If I’d had this then it would have alerted me as soon as he stepped on the drive and he wouldn’t have made it round the back.

This has given us total peace of mind. It’s extremely good quality and it’s easy to set up. I’m so massively happy with this that I can’t say it enough and it’s 100% recommendation worthy. Everyone should have one of these.

This is absolutely perfect for my needs

After finally getting this system set up, I think it’s a good value & budget friendly security system to have. I have had it installed at a yard, with recent unwanted visitors and a couple of potential ‘threats’ to our yard by theft, we needed something that was cheap enough to purchase but enough of a deterrent & I think this comes as close to what we need as possible that can be done for this price tag.

The driveway to the yard is secluded and is around 150ft long. Installing initially was a bit of a challenge but luckily with a. Bit of patience and a handy friend we got there in the end.

This system now sends an alert to someone who lives on site (Close enough for the receiver but the yard driveway is not visible from their home) & so far it seems to work just fine. It definitely helps gives you peace of mind – after a few weeks of worrying it’s a welcome addition.

The issue I have is, as others have mentioned, the sounds are just not great at all, they almost sound like a novelty rather than a serious warning to trespassers. I really wish they would consider changing the audio alert to something more serious, as let’s be honest, most people wanting this set up will be installing it as a safety feature.
