Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersUsed the scanner to digitise 50 yo 35mm slides. With practise it was easy to keep pushing slides through, but occasionally they would jam and then it was necessary to withdraw slide carrier to free slides.

Golden Review Award: 22 From Our UsersSo far I have just scanned a few boxes of my mounted slides. Very quick and easy to do. Quality depends on how good or bad the slide is you are scanning but my opinion is it’s a good copy. The only problem I’ve had is the thicker slides jam and it becomes fiddly but can be done. All in all for the price I’m fairly happy.

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersConverted 300 slides in a couple of hours, photo quality just acceptable, sharpness (Focus not adjustable) just OK, has facility for adjusting exposure and RGB balances but preferred to do this in editing software. Slides both card and plastic mounts stuck frequently in feed slider but tilting the scanner usually freed them. The feed slider was sometimes difficult to engage in it’s slot. Instructions not great but technique straightforward once acquired.

Golden Review Award: 23 From Our UsersEasy to use, producing excellent sharp images across all formats, colour slides & both colour & b&w negatives. The only frustration is that the 135 slide tray doesn’t like the thicker mounts such as AGFA & rarely inserts the first time & needs a bit of coaxing & patience. No problems with the thinner slides such as Fuji & Kodak. Having said that, I have still managed to scan every AGFA slide in the end. Overall, I am pleased with this scanner as the quality of the images is the most important thing.

Golden Review Award: 20 From Our UsersThe only thing that disappoints me is the carrier that holds all the frames. It is not long enough and does not allow for glass and the thicker slides to pass through the unit, it has be removed every time and by doing it eventually gets caught and has broken the exit frame support. In the long run a had designed my own cassette and 2d printed it. But if there is a replacement part that is available I would like to get one as this a major part of the operation of other formats to be scanned

Used for copying negatives so they can be viewed on computer. Bit fiddly if negatives are not flat or good quality but possible to copy slides, 35 negatives and 110s. Good item. Takes time and a bit of patience so take your time and enjoy finding your memories on the machine.

Item certainly works but too early to fully evaluate the results.
Instructions could be clearer e.g. I have not worked out how to open the film transport once clicked close.

This little slide scanner is simple to use but because my sides are so old (70 year +) they tend to slip when they are fed into the slide rail. They also slip under each other so it is only possible to feed one slide in at a time which is a lengthy procedure when you have something like 300 slides.

I have a large number of 40-50 year old transparencies which, in some cases, are significantly degraded. With this device I was able to I was to get a quick appreciation of whether a slide was worth persevering with. The scan quality was surprisingly good and, in the event, I found that most of my slides were perfectly usable. In some cases further processing in a photo editor was required to remove the colour cast, which was only to be expected with such old slides. I was happy that I’d got value for my modest investment.

Used to process loads of slides and negatives but it doesn’t seem to take the picture. I’d prefer it to be wider out so that I could take a photo and then cut down.

We have only had this a few days and 2000 slides scanned so far as well as some 35mm negatives. The only slight tricky thing is that it handles the rigid plastic slides better than thinner plastic or card slides but I guess that might be true of most machines.

Golden Review Award: 10 From Our UsersVery easy to set up and use. Works best with well lit outdoor shots. I scanned at 14mb as I don’t like upscaling as you are not improving the quality, I intend to work on the scans in Photoshop.

Using 35 year negs which were probably processed by Boots and have deteriorated in the loft is not the best test for quality but it does the job.

Golden Review Award: 92 From Our UsersAmazon sent the film and slide scanner and digitiser the day following my order on standard postage for free. This is a neat and good-looking product that should enable me to put old slides on the computer as well as view them on the device. It can also enable me to digitise old film. I’m looking forward to using it.

    Good product looks and size
