Set it up on my 1976 Trillium. Recharged my Lifepo2 battery quickly even on cloudy days.

I use it on the a foot extension cord (included) in our camper van conversion. It works great. It gives me great flexibility in placing it in the best position via the sun. The monitor tells me how effective it is. Highly recommended.

Very easy to set up and install but plan it out where its going to fit before running cables and fuses, to achieve the best finish with tidy cabling

Purchased this complete Renogy Solar Panel / Charging System as my first foray into solar energy. Paired with a Li Fe 30 am hour battery, this complete system powers the DC Blower on my air tight wood stove in the event of a Hydro failure. On a cloudy / overcast winter day in B.C. Canada, 2 100 Watt panels deliver a good 30 watts of usable power, enough energy for the blower and to charge the battery. Having a MPPT charge controller maximizes voltage and current from the two series wired solar panels. In addition, the Rover charge controller provides a great deal of information in regards to voltage, current, battery capacity etc., and the readout measures dead accurate against my Fluke multimeter. Very impressed with the value and performance of the Renogy Rover charge controller, plugs, cables and solar panels. A great deal IMHO.

Based on my experience so far, this inexpensive solar power system will likely be a stepping stone to bigger things in the future.

This is super lightweight panel and a mppt controller. Controller can tell you about anything that is happening with the charging system. Simple install. All wiring included.

La seule chose ngatif est le guide d’installation est seulement en anglais. J’ai demand une copie en franais. Je ne l’ai jamais reu. L’installation est quand meme simple donc j’ai t okay pour l’installer. Vraiment bonne qualit pour le prix.

This product is a nice condensed package for what was needed. The complete package with the panel, mounting brackets, charge controller and wiring all in one package made it convenient. Was able to install in a few hours and see it operational. I did go through the process of soldering the ends of the cable that go into the Charge controller. As of today the system is performing as expected that at times when the sun is at its peek the system was producing 92% of the rated power generation. So far happy with the performance.

I mounted the solar panel on my bay boat canopy to keep my batteries charged. I connected to two marine batteries. It charges them quickly and keeps them charged. Easy install. Just what I wanted it to do.

So far so good. Very good quality equipment. Very easy to install. Panel was delivering 90w peak on a sunny day. Controller large enough to accept more panels, but you should make sure that they’re from the same manufacturer and the same size/wattage for best results. Efficiency dictated by smallest panel if you mix. Capable of charging lithium batteries.

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersThe charge controller was easy to set up and does what its supposed to. Dont buy the remote it’s a waste of time and you need to keep rebooting your wi fi to make it work, the app needs redeveloping. Remember if you connect anything directly to your battery this wont be able to display the amps being used.

I initially connected a cheap 800w inverter for about 45 quid. It lasted a week. I upped the budget and bought a Krieger but it lasted 3 months and burned out. Ive now connected an energize 1110w I bought from Argos, so far so good and quiet as a mouse.

I didn’t need any tech support as the instructions are great. I put one 12 volt battery on this and it works great. I have two 60 watt motion lights hooked to the system as well as a security camera. They work awesomely. The system charges super fast even when it is cloudy! The battery never goes below 60% overnight and is back to 100% within 2 hours after the sun comes up.

My husband is very happy with this Solar panel and controller! It is already installed ( he made a portable stand so it can be moved around in the yard) The packaging for the items was very well done and we didn’t have to wait long for it to arrive! Thank you!

Golden Review Award: 8 From Our UsersI have glue/food on the charge controller behind the protective screen.
Solar panel also has a volume of quite obvious scratches.

Aren’t these supposed to be new/unused items straight from the manufacturer?

I’m an electrician, and tempted to return these. But I want to give you guys a chance to explain what happened to my charge controller and solar panel.

I do need to note the first shipment I received of this kit only had the solar panel, everything else was missing, but Amazon did a great job of replacing it. Thank you!
Once I received my replacement, the kit included all the pieces and I was off to the installation process. Definitely read the instructions on the charge controller for setting up the battery, and a few Yourtube videos on ensuring your connecting everything accordingly. ALWAYS connect the battery first to the the charge controller, never the solar panel alone to it, otherwise you will fry it. And ALWAYS disconnect at least one one cable leading from the solar panel to the charge controller if you’re going to do any further work to the system. OVerall, this is a great kit to start your solar power journey with ease and has the bandwidth to expand for more power.

    Cheers!

This kit was installed in a 2007 FWC Hawk camper. However, instead of poking holes in the roof, after installing the controller inside the camper, I ran the cables out a tie down access panel, forward along the inside of the truck bed, then outside and in through the passenger window to the panel, which is charging perfectly on the dash of the truck!

This was a great solution for this situation where the truck is parked in the sun during the day in a hot climate. The panel is quite stout. Eventually it will go on the roof when I have time and courage to drill some holes.

    WAY easier than expected!

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersEasy to install and setup solar kit for my camper. 100 watts is minimum it doesn’t really provide a ton of power to run much more than the 12 volt lights. There is definitely not enough to run the fridge. Need to get to 200 to 300 more watts to do tha

The solar system is working and is performing as expected. Not without a lot of testing and problem solving. I feel like I’m an expert on this now but it is working and doing what I wanted it to do.

I connected the solar panel and charge controller to a deep cycle battery and it immediately started charging the battery. I have installed the solar panel on my slide in camper and hope to avoid using the generator to recharge the battery.

Wayyyyy better than the system that your trailer RV came pre wired for and you haved to spend $600.00+ to finish the system. Ours plugs right in to the pre wired system. Awesome. If you don’t want to bug other campers with a generator, this is perfect for topping those batteries off.
