I bought this to replace a built in Candy microwave that was rubbish. It only lasted a couple of years of light use and blew up.
This one looks much better and the Halogen grill is superior to the Candy standard grill. The exterior is a finger print magnet and the main knob/control could do with being a bit more robust but other than that, so far, I can’t fault it. I have been using it for a month now without any issues. The only thing I can’t get used to is that the main timer knob is also the start button. It would have been better to have a separate start/stop button.
It comes fitted with a standard UK plug and is easily fitted into a kitchen unit. I had to put a small piece of wood under the adjustable feet to make it sit right in the cupboard but that could easily be the fault of the cupboard rather than the microwave. It is secured to the cupboard with 4 small screws that come in the box.
Considering it is half the price of any other built in combination grill/microwave I looked at I think it is a winner.
