The is the best fan you can ever get. Very powerful and not loud at all, slight humming which is okay. I’m planning to buy another one for next summer. Recommend

Firstly the fan is very quiet. The adjustable oscillation function is so useful. The low speed settings go from a gentle breeze right up to turbo mode. All at the touch of a button(remote). Well worth the extra money. Highly recommend.

I love this fan as I do not have to turn it off or down to listen to the tv/phone etc I have been using one of the Dyson type fans which works good but you have to have it turned up to feel it, with this one it puts out 840 feet /minute on high with the guard on or 1070 feet/minute with the front guard off so it wastes quite a lot of power 27.3% I am lucky in that I live on my own and always remove the front guard, plus when it is a plastic guard I trim 3 out of 4 of the legs on the rear guard which allows the air to pass by easier but do not remove any parts of the guard if you live with other people.

One trick I have found is to use some of the car hydrophobic polish as it helps keep the blades clean for a lot longer than normal without it I would have to clean and polish the blades every 3 to 4 months as the air speed slow’s down to a point that you can hardly feel it moving.
This fan I can feel with the guard on from 2 meters away on the lowest speed I think I will use it in the bedroom as I have to have a fan on all night every night including winter.
This fan is well worth the money.

Very, very quiet – perfect for the bedroom. Adjustable, can even point towards the ceiling. I particularly wanted a fan with a timer so that I can put it on and fall asleep without worrying about turning it off. My only, tiny complaint is that the light stays on even when the timer is finished. My other complaint is that the heatwave was over the day it arrived!

Very happy with my purchase. I saw a YouTube video by a hifi reviewer and he said how silent this fan was. It’s certainly very quiet even at higher speeds. Easy to set up. Remote works well.

  22. Anonymous says:

     United Kingdom

Was hoping this would be silent but not quite.

As a fan it’s very good compared to my previous loud generic model but using its lowest 1&2 values at night which was my use case, the motor resonates in the plastic housing that creates a low frequency noise much higher in volume than the air pressure/spinning blades. Not a dealbreaker but noticeable to me so the search continues for a true silent fan!

I really like this floor fan, it’s extremely quiet, almost silent and there is no visual flicking of the blade. It oscillates well. I recommend it.
The only negative I had was when I plugged into an extension, as it didn’t switch on. I then plugged into the wall and another extension with a surge protector and all was good. So I would say it has definitely surpassed my safety checks.

pros: quiet, good wind flow, engery saver.
cons: annoying beep sound. wind speed can go up from 1 to 12, going up only , and circulation after 12 and back to 1. No button to go down. You need to press the button 12 times if you want to go down each level…. and annoying beep for 12 times.

Golden Review Award: 8 From Our UsersPROS:-

    * The most positive thing about this fan is the low energy consumption.
    * The stand is sturdier than the average cheaper fan.
    * Low running noise.
    * The general look is good.

    CONS:-
    * Not very powerful, even on the “Turbo” setting, which is equal to the middle setting on my cheaper fans.
    * No handle, combined with a heavier construction, makes the fan difficult to move around.
    * The remote control is somewhat random, particularly when trying to adjust the oscillation feature.
    * Having 9 speeds is pointless, as there is very little difference between them, e.g. a 3 and a 5.
It would be better with 3 speeds, and the “Turbo” setting, which would be more than adequate.
    * The cage around the fan blades is plastic, and doesn’t seem very robust.
    * The tilt movement on the head is quite limited.
    * The LED feature is pointless

    Conclusion:-

The low energy consumption of 19 watts is a very attractive feature due to the current rise in energy prices.

However, imo, the fan is “over designed” and would be far better with less pointless features, e.g. 4 speeds; a handle to lift the fan with; a simple left to right oscillation feature; no LED feature, and a more powerful top speed. Such simplifications should bring the price down by at least a third, which would make the fan a good buy.

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersWe bought this fan for the bedroom as our old one was really noisy and the vibrations were keeping us and our son in the next room awake. This fan is much better. It is almost silent on the lower settings which are perfectly adequate for cooling the room, and does a really good job. It looks smart in the room. You can have it still or oscillating and the height is adjustable. We had to assemble it ourselves, which was not too difficult. The only downside is that the remote control will turn the fan speed up but if you want to turn it down you have to turn it off and turn it up to the speed you want again. Not a huge problem but slightly irritating in the middle of the night if you just want to turn it down one or two notches and you have to go through all that beeping. Still an excellent fan. Really pleased with it and would definitely recommend.

So i have noticed that it’s as quiet as the wind not noisy at all but to me ,even being on 9 speed isn’t high enough and it didn’t even come in with batteries for the remote .You must buy them so you can use it .

  42. Micaela says:

     United Kingdom

Assembly was a bit fiddly but not too bad. The 2 lower power option seem to be more cooling than highest. The highest doesn’t seem to create a stronger breeze just louder and maybe the paddles aren’t firm enough to cut through the hot air, they just seem to waft it around. However, good for mid-heat but not strong enough for a true heatwave.
( July ’22). I got it as an extra fan in the bedroom at night for our very furry large dog who found the heatwave challenging.

This pedestal fan is very well made. It took a while to assemble, but once assembled its perfect. It stands on its base very sturdy. It has 9 speeds to select from, and works very quietly. Very easy to select a speed from the fan itself or from the remote. It has a timer function and can be set to turn itself off up to 8 hours. It has 120 oscillation. It also can be tilted upwards. We used it in the toddlers room on a hot night, it was very useful to tilt the head up and the breeze was very light in the room. We also use it during the day on hot days. This is well made, sturdy and perfect for all needs. I would recommend.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersThis fan is perfect for anyone who experiences hot flushes particualry at night time and like to have a fan on but their partner is alwasy moaning about the noise the fan makes, well here it is a almost silent fan.
This fan has so many positives it’s ahrd not to get too excited but this fan is amazing, great value for money although the unclear instructions booklet may be to blame for the low rrp.
Buy this fan now before they sell out as they will be popular, this fan has a digital display and a 8 hour timer, this is more than just a fan this is a super fan, looks good as well with a nice stong base to it and the ability to move the head around to ensure a direct air flow in certain areas.

  51. Brie Barbee says:

Golden Review Award: 6 From Our UsersThis is literally hands down the best fan I’ve ever used. It is ridiculously quiet and on most speeds you can barely hear it. It’s only on the higher settings or turbo mode where it actually makes enough noise for you to hear and even then it’s much quieter than others. You can see from my video that you can hear my breathing over the fan which goes to show what I mean.

I’ve gone through loads of pedestal fans over the years and this is on another level. Not only is it quiet, but the digitally controlled motor offers plenty of speed settings and modes. The 3 adjustable oscillation angles also mean you can make sure it blows air exactly where needed. The airflow is also seriously impressive and much better that what I’ve seen from other fans.

And all this can be controlled with the remote control as well as the control panel which is amazing. The base is also rock solid and stable, no wobbly legs in sight.

And yes, those other cheap pedestal fans are much cheaper but I would honestly consider paying the extra for this as it is most definitely worth it and it’s next level compare to those. The only slight criticism I can think of, is that it doesn’t tilt down very much but that is being really picky.

Easily the best fan I’ve ever used. So quiet yet powerful.

Wonderful design, really good quality build, Looks really nice and no dodgy crossed feet. Great features, Splits into different heights for desk or floor use and a solid base so its extremely sturdy too.
There is a choice of 9 settings, which is more than adequate, really easy to operate. The remote control is a great advantage as it makes speed changes & oscillation control very easy to do.
Its great that you can choose to have it either on very low for a light breeze, or high in exceptionally hot weather. To be honest on speeds 1 to 4 you wont notice much variation, on settings 5 to 9 the fan gets progressively louder .
It has many functions including a night time function where it slows the fan speed incrementally over night.
It’s so quiet that I can totally ignore it whilst working, Its even quiet enough for the bedroom. You cannot really hear it but the gentle oscillating breeze is just the job.
Other settings are available such as sleep mode but we haven’t used these yet. On the downside, it’s quite heavy and cumbersome: if it could’ve been designed with the same quality.
Overall though, an excellent product. Would absolutely recommend.

Looks great, modern and stylish and has a remote and the fan has 9 different speeds and a boost type of speed which is very powerful and temperature control setting to change to the room temperature, the fan head can move side to side automatically but not up and down that part is manual and the fan is overall very quiet and good quality.

    Very quiet.

  55. CherieForlonge says:

Very good quality. Instructions are quite clear, there are some points where you just need to use your head and logical thinking. Some parts are already in their places which are not shown on the instructions and the metal disc comes in the pack of a screwdriver which tells you where it goes. Only one screwdriver is provided as there is only one screw to screw in.
The fan itself looks very smart, modern, stable and feels durable. Assembly is easy, took me around 5 minutes. It is silent and works really well. Adjustable height, led display, lots of useful functions and comes with remote control (batteries are not supplied). I also like the packaging, it is smartly packed, no mess with foam, all comes out nicely, every part is packed in plastic bags which are not wrapped or sealed and saves lots of time, no need ripping or cutting. I personally can recommend it 100%.

One part was missed out of them completely but we got it put together. The fan itself feels a bit inferior to the rest of it but it’s not a massive issue. When this was eventually put together my son and I were impressed. The height adjustable stand is really solid and it stands well even on carpet. It’s easy to use and it’s great that it has a remote control as well as controls on the stand. That’s convenient but a couple of batteries being included might’ve been nice. The best bit about this is how quiet it is. It’s a great fan too but the lack of the normal whirring sound fans give is brilliant. We’re very happy with it.

Golden Review Award: 6 From Our UsersAs I was assembling this I wasn’t sure how impressed I’d be with the final result. I can confirm however this is a great fan!
So the downsides when putting it together:
The instructions aren’t the clearest and they completely miss out where the metal disc come into play.
You need to ensure you look at the direction to turn the middle dial to loosen it as it’s opposite to normal which through me off. This does make sense due to the direction the fan needs to spin etc.
There is a screw at the base of the fan head you need to remove but no screwdriver is supplied for that. Just the one at the base which seems odd.
The fascia feels like cheap plastic, batteries are not included for the remote and the cable is a little short.
However, these are tiny niggles worthy of dealing with/ignoring once you get it built and going.
Once assembled it looks really nice and smart, has a good amount of settings and a good oscillation range. The main thing for me though is how quiet it is! It’s almost silent! The only setting that’s louder is “H” which is the highest and that is lovely and powerful! It seems really sturdy too.
I’m not entirely sure why you would want to tilt it pointing upwards but I’m sure some people will have use for this function. I can’t comment on it as we will never use that.
I feel the price is fair, but I also feel they could have supplied batteries and the two screwdrivers required rather than 1.

    Great once assembled

At the time of this review there isnt a price for this fan unfortunately. It arrived very well packaged with clear instructions on how to set it up. It didnt take long to set up at all, maybe 10 minutes for 1 person. The fan has 3 different modes on it, low, medium and high. The remote works very well with this, including from across the room. It does give a very good breeze, especially during these last few weeks of heat waves. The only issue i have with the fan is that no matter how hard i tried it always seemed to stand wonky. the pole and head seemed to lean forward and it kept making me nervous incase it toppled over. I soon realised it was quite safe and have since enjoyed a cool room. I would expect to pay approximately 35/40 for this fan.

The fan makes a very good cooling air for all day long .Good shape and size , exactly what I need for the hot days in the summer. I’m using this fan for my living room where we lol stay and play so needed something powerful to move the air around the room .The too as well as the stand are well made , sturdy and simple design. The blades are big enough to help cooling the room faster .The noise level is fine during the day but I will not consider in the night when everything is more quiet and the noise of the fan is quite disturbing.

I have a rather expensive Dyson Hot and Cool fan in my living room but as my wife spends much of her time upstairs in her work room she wanted something to help her keep cool in there. Our home has a lot of windows which are south facing so all of the rooms can become very hot her work room included but as she works with paper and card she needed something that wouldn’t blow everything around so I ordered this in the hopes that it would do the job and I wasn’t disappointed.
On opening, this fan comes in several pieces that need to be put together but that didn’t take more than 15 minutes to complete and was fairly easy to do. Once built up I took it upstairs to my wife room and plugged it in ready for use.
The fan and pedestal are well made and feel sturdy with a decent weight on the base to help it stay secure. The great thing about this device is that the height can be adjusted and also the tilt so my wife can aim the fan away from her working area so as not to blow the paper around but it will still circulate the air nicely cooling the whole room down. As she wanted the fan to be away from her immediate area I placed it over the other end of the double sized room but as this also comes with a handy remote control unit she can still operate it from her seating position by changing the speeds and the oscillation she can set this fan to circulate as much air as is needed to keep the room cooled.
At this price point this unit is very good value, it has everything needed in a cooling device and more, the remote control is a very handy bonus as is the timer which can be set to automatically turn the fan off after a set period and the whole device is nicely made.
The one small downside is the noise, as with all fans it can be quite noisy, I personally don’t think that I could sleep with the sound from this even on the low setting but for daytime use it is terrific and there are three speeds to choose from.
Well made pedestal fan and good value,
    Recommended.

The fan functions are as follows, oslating or static fan head, height and angle adjustable fan, remote controls.

Nice height adjustable range going to height about 4ft. The height easliy adjusted using a twist locking mechanism. The fan has 12 speed. I like fan with it different adjustable and remote controls, perfect for these hot days.

    Cons.
    – Can be a bit noisy

This fan was hard work to set up initially. The main problem was unscrewing the cap off the main crank, in order to fit the cage and fan blades themselves. It was screwed on so tight I had to use pliers to grasp the crank shaft whilst I unscrewed the cap. Also, you unscrew the cap by screwing it clockwise ( so it’s not always lefty loosely righty tightly!) then you slip on the back of the cage, then the fan blades, replace the cap then attach the front of the cage. Very fiddly. Eventually though everything clicks into place and voil! You’re up and running!
The fan has 12 speeds, and the higher the setting the faster it spins so the cooler you are. However it’s a trade off as the higher the setting the louder it gets, a major factor if you’re hoping to leave this on while you sleep. I can manage a 3 or 4 before it becomes too noisy. The fan can rotate left to right and there are 3 “clicks” positions so you can angle it. A nice touch is the timer where it can turn off automatically anywhere between 30 mins and 12 hours.
Generally a very good fan. A good stand on it so not a desk fan but more for a corner of a room. Quite a big but solid base so this is not a dainty little thing but a heavy duty fan if needs be.

This fan is almost perfect. It is very powerful. It’s fairly quiet for a fan, even on its most powerful setting. It’s very sturdy and doesn’t wobble. The timer function is brilliant. The build quality is high. I love the metal construction. The instructions were clear and making it was very simple. Especially the way the front of the fan is secured using a clip and screw. It just slots into place, so easily, then you can secure it on. It was built in about two minutes.

The only issue is the the user interface. It beeps loudly with every touch. There seems to be no way of operating this without the beeps. Meaning if I want to alter the settings in the night, I risk waking up my partner. And there are some weird settings which the instructions do not inform the user what they do. Besides that it’s ideal. If you’re getting it for an office then the beeps shouldn’t be too troublesome.

Brilliant but it beeps with every press of the buttons

I really liked that this fan was super easy to put together. I didn’t even need to use the directions. It has a super sturdy (and heavy) base which makes tipping it over almost impossible.

It has many different “settings” since it has 3 different wind speeds and 3 different “mode” settings. It blows very strong. I like to sleep with a strong breeze on me. Other fans aren’t enough at the highest speed. This fan is a bit much on the lowest speed.

The remote makes it so much easier so you don’t have to get up to turn it on or off if you are in bed. It still makes some noise when on the high setting but one of the quietest fans I’ve ever owned! Overall, extremely happy with my product , great quality for a great price!!!

Due to previous heatwaves I wanted a versatile fan that could be used in different parts of the house for differing uses. Ideally one for the bedroom on a hot night, the lounge for a hot day but not so loud that it interferes with the TV and the garage for use to keep cool when on a spinning bike and working out.
Once built I have to say I was impressed that this fan would suit all of the needs of the above. It has 12 speed settings, the lowest 3 enough to cool but practically soundless and the top speeds enough to provide a continual blast of cool air while spinning/working out (better if the fan noise is drowned out by music as it’s pretty noisy). The fan can be set to oscillate too.
The stem of the fan has a clear digital display and is easy to use. A simple on/off button, a fan button – pressing this increases the fan speed each time – and an oscillate button. The height of the fan is adjustable by up to about 6″ and the head can be tilted or raised.
The remote control requires 2AAA batteries that were not supplied. The remote control had all of the same buttons as the stem and an additional timer function. Useful if you want it to switch off overnight.
The build is ok. The instructions are mainly pictorial with limited writing. All is fairly straightforward though clipping on the front cage is a nightmare. You have to hold it in position while trying to get the cage to clip into the underlying cage whilst keeping the logo straight. I must confess on my first attempt the logo ended up upside down! Once you have clipped the front cage on you will need a screwdriver to remove and replace one crosshead screw. Assembly took about 10 minutes including the logo fiasco. Another pair of hands would have been useful.
This is quite pricey compared to others I have seen but it has a good range of speeds, the option to operate on a timer and is low energy too.

Immense noisy gusts and super silent gentle breezes

Assembly was moderately straightforward and the only tool required was a small Phillips screwdriver — or in my case my trusty Swiss army knife. Assembling the cage was a little fiddly as it clips on and screws in underneath with instructions not very clear on how this is done. Just don’t go clipping it all together until the rear cage is on and bolted down, fan is on and lined up with a bar, this is then bolted on and when you are happy put the cage front on — basically it is the very last thing to put on.

The base is weighted with no danger of toppling and is very stable. The height is adjustable as is the head angle. The height is easy to adjust by hand, but the head angle I had to loosen a bolt and re-tighten. It can probably be slackened off to allow for hand adjustment, but I had it where I wanted it, so no issues. There is a carry handle on the motor which is advisable if you want to rotate it manually. If you just force the head around it might loosen the height adjustment collar.or you could just switch on the oscillation!
You need 3xAAA batteries for the remote (not supplied) or you can run it from the front touch panel. There are 12 speeds and oscillation with a night-time timer — I never use this.

At the lowest speed the fan is virtually silent yet is gives out a very gentle cooling air flow if you are in proximity to it, from that point on it gets progressively faster and noisier. The final 12th speed is quite a blast and very cooling even on a hot day. I tried to take a video to demo the noise, but I had to get close and when I did the wind rush over the microphone made it appear noisier that it is.

It is a great fan and a huge improvement over my bargain store pressed metal one. The only very slight annoyance is the beeping sound it makes every time a button is pressed. A design improvement would have been to include a place to store the remote.

From silent gentle breeze to a chilling blas

This fan arrived in a very big box, but this did mean that it was very well packed and looked as though the packaging would protect the fan from careless couriers (not Amazon ones of course!).
Once assembled it looks very elegant with a gloss white base and pole, the fan blades are clear and this combined with the white mesh around it looks very modern and attractive. It should be said that the assembly instructions are not as explicit as they could be, particularly putting the fan cage together, so look carefully at the diagram.
In use it is very quiet as long as speeds 1-6 are chosen, but obviously as the speed increases so does the noise, but this is from the fan blades, the motor is always whisper quiet.
At full speed it is very powerful, in fact it blew our lounge door closed, it generated so much air movement.
The remote control is a very useful extra, allowing all the functions to be operated from quite a distance.
At the time of writing this is priced at 74.99, and this isn’t cheap, but in my opinion the quality justifies the price and I think that it is great buy.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersPELONIS Oscillating Pedestal Fan with Remote Control, 16-Inch Electric Fan with Ultra-Quiet DC Motor 35W, 12 Speed settings, 12-Hours Timer, Standing Fan with Adjustable Height for Home and Office. Fan arrived this afternoon, the box was huge, once opened it becomes apparent what is what, the build instructions are vague but a note is the position of the motor fan guard ( rear guard ) , keep the pear-drop hole pointing down ( as in the photo) this will make the rest of the build easy, the plastic nut for the motor fan guard is your usual anti-clockwise turn to loosen and clockwise turn to tighten, the motor ( to install fan ) is the opposite, clockwise turn to loosen and anti-clockwise turn to tighten. The rest are reasonably straight forward instructions although fitting the front fan guard is a little tricky start at the top and using your fingers only, roll the guard into the guides on the plastic trim, there are some small plastic guides located on the inside of the front guard trim, these hold the rear guard in place. Once done you will hear a reassuring click, everything should be even and locked into place. Then remove the tiny screw on the front guard lock and flip the lock into place and refit the screws. Everything should be tight and even before applying power. It’s very quiet on the lower settings, I’m using mine in the bedroom, the weather is very warm at the moment so setting the timer on the fan and dosing off in a lovely cool breeze is ideal.

Super quiet and keeps you cool 😎

This is a pretty decent fan. It’s highly adaptable in the sense you can place it wherever you want as long as it’s in reach of a power socket thanks to its height-adaptable stand. There are three different speeds available, and at the lowest setting it’s certainly not too noisy. And the remote control is very useful especially if used in a bedroom. In addition the timer means that the fan can set to turn off after you’ve fallen asleep. The soft-touch controls on the fan itself are also easily accessible.

There’s relatively little to fault here but the fan is perhaps a little too expensive.

    Reflecting this, four stars.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersMrs Wolf has been working from home throughout the pandemic.
I bought her a desk fan last summer which helped on the hottest
days but having the chance to test-drive something a bit more
powerful seemed like an opportunity not to be missed.

Setting the thing up takes a bit of patience. The wire fan blade cage
in particular had me swearing under my breath for about ten minutes
but once it finally clicked into place it was all systems go.

If you do decide to order one make sure you’ve got a couple of AAA
batteries handy or you’ll have to use the control on the stand.
Twelve speed settings seems more than enough to be getting on with
and it certainly does whack the air around with gusto operating at full tilt.

The fan is not entirely noiseless but Mrs W. says it’s not so loud that it
distracts her from her work. All-in-all she seems to think it’s a decent product.

She likes it, so I like it too.

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersUltra quiet fan.

I was sent this in return for my honest opinion on it.

This is a nice design and it’s quite well made, as opposed to other fans similar to this one. It’s very sturdy and it does feel durable. The height can go from 112cm – 130cm tall. This stands on a 40cm round heavy base.

It’s fairly easy to put together, the cage was a little fiddly but I do like that it’s screwed together at the end and that it’s not just a clip. There is a 190cm UK cable plug attached.

There is a remote for the fan and a control panel on the fan. These both have the same buttons, with the additional one given to the remote which sets the timer, the others are on/off, fan speed level change and turn fan on/off. The remote I feel is a little basic. I also wish there was a timer button on the fan itself too, for incase you lose the remote.

There are 12 speed levels. 1-3 being extremely quiet, 4 and up, get louder with each one. The wind power of number 12 is immensely strong, I don’t doubt it’s fantastic in a heat wave. It’s been great for those hot nights already.

I do think this fan is impressive for its ultra quiet modes and it’s intense wind, the design and the durability are good too. It’s also energy saving. So I would recommend it for quality, I do however, think it’s a little but more than I expected it to be in price.

1-3 Very very quiet, level 12 very strong.

I like this cooling fan that has such great power in it and if used correctly can really cool the air down in a hot room.

I’ve found that it’s best to have it oscillate facing the door to push all the hot air out of the room first then later in the evening add cold water and the ice packs and leave it on while I sleep.

The speed can go higher but only on certain modes which have more of a pulse

Comes with a remote with is good that I can change the settings whilst in bed

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersThe fan requires assembly before use, this was easy until we tried to assemble the grille that goes over the fan blades, this was frustrating as both grilles are held together by the plastic ring, which kept coming off, the process wasn’t helped by Pelonis having written their name in the centre of the grille and trying to keep that level. Once assembled the unit was stable, the circular base is particularly welcome as our existing fan has four legs which we keep tripping over. Length of the mains lead is about 1.8m. The remote control requires 2 AAA batteries, which aren’t supplied. We were impressed how quiet this fan is on the lower settings, you really can’t hear it; there are 12 settings in all. The fan has on-off, fan speed, oscillation and timer controls on the fan and these are mirrored on the remote control. The remote control works very well; it has a keyhole slot on the back as well as grooves on the edges but there is nowhere on the fan to mount it to keep it safe. Overall though this is a really good fan.

Virtually silent on low settings but some tricky assembly
