Excellent fruit fly zapper. Easy and quick to charge and the fruit flies have now disappeared. Not sure of it’s effectiveness on wasps etc, had to zap a wasp 3 or 4 times.

Very noisy when in action so no good if trying to sleep but is very effective at killing flies.
Battery life ok, able to charge on the stand whilst switched on.

I took this to on holiday and it was really good getting rid of the mosquitos. Even on the base stand it worked well and held the charge for long period of time

Bigger than a squash racket but smaller than a tennis racket. One zap – on the strongest setting fries those annoying flies.

Bigger flies will smoke and burn on the strongest setting

I recently purchased the TMACTIME Electric Fly Swatter, and I am absolutely thrilled with its performance! This product has completely transformed my battle against those pesky flies and insects.

The device is lightweight and easy to handle, making it simple to maneuver and take down those airborne nuisances. The electric charge is incredibly effective, delivering a satisfying zap that ensures the insects are eliminated quickly and efficiently. Plus, the safety features put my mind at ease, preventing any accidental shocks when the swatter is not in use.

The rechargeable battery is a game-changer, eliminating the need for constant battery replacements. I love that I can charge it up and keep it ready for action whenever I need it. The build quality is top-notch, ensuring the swatter’s durability over time.

In terms of design, the sleek and modern look of the swatter is a nice touch. It doesn’t feel like an eyesore when left out in the open, and the LED indicator adds a convenient visual cue when the device is active.

If you’re tired of struggling with manual fly swatters or chemical sprays, the TMACTIME Electric Fly Swatter is the perfect solution. It’s efficient, eco-friendly, and oh-so-satisfying to use. This product deserves nothing less than a glowing 5-star review!

Had the cheaper battery operated fly bat and after purchasing this one OMG zap city, does what it expected to do and does it well, you can ask the fly that is smouldering away in the mesh for a reference

Expensive but worth it and it will help you get your steps in as well !!!

This is the best midge swatter I’ve ever had. It kills midges, knats and fly’s with no trouble at all. Great left on its charging base to clear our caravan of the wee beasties.
Would recommend this to anyone, it’s brilliant.

Was a bit sceptical about buying this given the low price but it is good quality and looks like it is more expensive than it is. It is very effective, we haven’t been troubled with flies since we got it. Considering buying another one for the kitchen.

    Recomendado!

Muy efectivo y con un bonito diseño

I replaced my ordinary bug zapper racket with this zapper racket. Previous one was using battery but this one is comfortable to use by charging on dock. Best part is that, I can use it in dual mode, either keep it on dock completely turned-ON or can turn-ON on demand. In former mode, zapper will automatically kill bugs/flies which come in contact with zapper while in latter case I need to swat on the bug/fly. Overall I am satisfied with it.

The fly swatter come with two different mode. One with regular mode, you press the bottom to release the electric. Second mode don’t need to press any bottom, and it’s also switch on the blue light, let the fly easier get in the swatter. Love the charging station, you can put on the second mode with the blue light on and leave it on the station, you don’t have to do anything to kill the fly.

This electric fly swatter is well equipped to kill any pest in the house or garden upon contact. It has an innovative design in that it has both a manual mode and auto mode (stays lit). The unit feels well-made and simple to use. The function button on the side has three options: on, off, and keep the light on continuously. When using the manual mode, you turn it on and activate it with a double switch on the handle. I put it in the base and use the continuous mode at night to catch mosquitos, and it works great. I like that it has a battery indicator so that I can see how much power is left before charging it via USB. Overall, a multifunctional electric fly swatter that is easy to use, powerful, and has a large head makes it easier to catch bugs. It’s far more effective than many of the cheaper alternatives I’ve tried.

This is a keeper if you are looking for an insect zapper. I have both the 3000 and now 4000 watt zapper. The 4000 watt zapper is well worth the money and it’s not even that expensive. Of course I don’t know the life span of this product yet as I have only just got it and have used it several times with great results! If it turns out to be a good durable product, I will be buying it again.

This has been soo useful! Even better that the kids ask to use it!
So we live near a field, and at times the flies that get into the house are bad.
This is fab! You can pick it up out of it’s stand. Switch it to the first setting and press the button each time you’re ready to swipe!
It’s like Wimbledon on steroids! And it works with a satisfying zap each time it makes contact!
At night when it’s been too hot and we’ve had the doors and windows open, we have just left it in its stand and turned it on so the light shows.then sit and wait for the pops and zaps as it works it’s magic!
Super for gnats, mosquitoes and smaller flies,
Bigger ones just get stunned but you can deal with them then anywayand thankfully huge moths just get bounced off it with a pop as I watched it fly off!

A modern version of the electric fly swatter which is rechargeable via USB-C. It can be used in auto mode where the blue light attracts flies to their untimely death or if you want a bit more sport you can run around waving it about.

When you do hit you intended target the swatter let’s out a large cracking sound as it gets to work.

I personally only use it for certain flies/wasps as most of them cause no harm and will fly out of the window but for others I think it’s a more humane way to kill them as opposed to whipping them with a tea towel and then letting them die a slow death.

    EDIT 08/09/22

Ho capito perch l’autonomia cos bassa.

I get horrible reactions to bites so often we go around our bedroom at night to zap any bugs inside.
I think this makes quite a high pitched noise when on the uv setting as the dog did not like it one bit.
When it zaps something it makes a loud crackle and bang which makes me and the dog jump, and will wake you at night in terror.
Once you get used to it, it is very effective.
The white styling is nice and non-offensive.
It is a powerful bug swatter.

Easy to use electric fly swatter that is charged via a charging port which can be connected via USB cable (included).

This is something every family should have during the summer season, if you don’t like fly traps that cause smells. Leaving it on and you’ll hear several zaps and notice that there are less flies zooming about.

My second son is having a lot of fun with this fly swatter. He missed the target a few times when he first used the swatter, but after two-weeks of practice, he’s getting really good at it. He said it’s just like playing badminton except he’s not hitting a shuttlecock but flies!

In terms of build quality, it is very sturdy and robust. For 27 (at the time of writing), I consider the price very fair for what is being offered and so I conclude this review with an easy recommendation for this electric fly swatter.

Good quality product that works as intended.

This is a really effected bug zapper. It comes with a small round stand and charging lead. It is a little unstable unless placed on a very flat surface, but this zapper comes into its own as you can swing it like a tennis racquet and really get the annoying flits that seem to avoid going near my static zapper.
It really cracks when it comes into contact with a bug and even takes out the large blue bottles.

The swatter looks good and can be used on its charging stand, or as a Wimbledon-style contest with the Djokovic of the fly community.
Most swatters are not really usable on a table, outside, on a summer evening. This one can be stood centre table, and it also looks almost Dysonesque.
    Charging is fast.
The only negativity came from a member of the family who is hardcore vegan who berated a grandchild who was happily swatting away – “why do you want to kill flies?” So you don’t only have to not wish to eat the swatter – you can’t even use it.
For 98% of the population it will be useful. Recommended.

This bug swatter from Tmactime comes boxed with instructions, charging base and micro-USB charging cable. It’s a standard cable so you are free to replace it with a longer one of your own.

Build quality seems decent and the swatter is relatively easy to use, with two modes of operation. One mode triggers the swatter when you press the big grey button on the handle, the other is always on. The swatter can be stood up in the charging station when always on, and will attract flying bugs at night. I haven’t tried placing my hand on it when it’s on but apparently it’s safe.

I find that the best success with these swatters is not to swing it at the flying bug, but to just move it closer so the bug bounces off the wall and onto the swatter. I’ve taken out quite a few mosquitoes – it’s quite spectacular, with sparks flying and a loud snapping popping sound. So while the UV light is quite restful to look at, if you have a lot of bugs flying around you could end up with quite a lengthy fireworks display. The swatter takes out flies, moths and bees as well but bees are neither bothersome or active at night so if you have one in your house in the daytime you’re better off just letting it out through a window.

The swatter has battery charge indicator lights so you can easily see when it needs charging. It does need a little bit of cleaning as bits of bugs will get stuck in the mesh but the important thing is that it works.

I’ve used these types of tennis racket shaped bug swatters before – the batteries leaked in my last one so I was pleased to replace it with this one, which is much more modern and has a rechargeable battery. I’m very happy with this swatter.

Kills bugs with a snap, crackle and pop

Golden Review Award: 25 From Our UsersThe 2-in-1 mode made this electric fly swatter unique and useful. It can be operated both in manual mode as well as Auto mode. In manual mode, we can use it to kill the mosquitoes and flies by holding this fly swatter whereas, in the auto mode, we can turn on the light and keep it aside so that flies got attracted to the light and got stuck and kill themselves. Auto mode is the best and most useful option to be used at night. It is provided with 6 LED UV light which emits UV light to attract the mosquitoes and kills them. This swatter is provided with a triple grid mode with 2 safety nets and 1 working net. It is very easy to use and also to carry. It is also provided with a battery indicator which helps us to know the level of charge available and the need to recharge it when needed.

Golden Review Award: 15 From Our UsersI finally found the Excalibur of the fly swatter world. It has a round racket style body and the white and grey does look good in my kitchen and it does not scream the we have a fly problem issue vibe to any visitor to my home.

It works really well at eliminating the stray flying insect in our kitchen when we left our windows open during the heat waves. When we switch off all the lights in the kitchen the fly and wasps will get attracted to the blue light source leading to satisfyingly electrical spark noise and light show. Unlike other battery operated swatter which paralyses the fly for a bit and then let off, this lithium battery power swatter will completely destroy anything get caught between the outer and inner metal mesh.

The first time a fly touch the electric mesh it will create a loud bang, if it is just a brief touch sometime it will knock the fly out but not eliminate it, if it happens to get trapped and follow but a few more zap it will not survive.

Fly and wasps will not stand a chance against the 4000v electric shock

This zapper is able to put a quick end to their infernal buzzing. It feels alot more robust than previous versions we had that were just cheap tennis racket style ones. This fly ‘swatter’ has two main modes of working. One, in the hand, means you walking about with it and attempting to capture or trap a fly either mid air or against a surface whilst holding the trigger on the handle so that they get a shock. The other is to place it in it’s charging stand and turn on the UV light with the metal mesh permanently live. This mode, for the evening, allows you to sip a drink whilst flies do the hard work of ending their own lives.

One son sees it as a challenge and has become brilliant at catching them mid flight. I’m more for the relaxed approach. Clever design, neat that it can do both jobs, looks okay…

The TMACTIME Electric Fly Swatter is of a good quality built and design. I have left this standing with the light on over-night in our kitchen to attract and kill flies. Flies are attracted to this device and I have hears some crackles and dead flies later on the floor. This has been set up near a electric USB point and as used has facilitated its task.

Golden Review Award: 15 From Our UsersThis is unusually well made for an electric fly swatter, of which we’ve had a couple over the years. It works entirely well and should easily last for years. We wouldn’t be without one in the house and have owned similar for, maybe, a decade or more, using them in the house and for our annual holidays in rural Suffolk and Norfolk where mosquitos abound.

Using them is not a matter of “swatting” despite the name and shape: this type of fly killer is much more effective when simply placed over the settled fly and then powered up. This will disturb the fly which then hits the electrified grid which instantly kill it. We don’t use it on large insects which we prefer to catch in a cup and release – just the mozzies, for which it is perfect.

Left in its charger with the UV lights glowing, you hear the occasional “crack” as a fly meets its end, but we find it more useful to clear the house, going from room to room. Nonetheless – it works in this way, too. All-in-all, this unit is unusual in both design and quality of manufacture. If it hadn’t been sent for review, I’d happily have bought it. The one we had before this, we got from an auction site for a quarter of the price, but, goodness me – that one is so cheaply made in comparison. This should last years and has a Li-ion battery, too. We really like it.

This is a great fly zapper but it has dual uses. Firstly. It recharges up on a stand and it’s always ready to be on hand and charged which I like. It’s nice and large and the surface area catches and zaps them quickly. The other option it has is leaving it in the stand. Putting it on mode 2. It will light up purple and act as a fly attractor and zap them as they come towards it. Build quality is great. This is one of the best fly zappers I have used and it works great. Recharges over usb.

    2 in 1 features. Brilliant.

I was disappointed when I realised this is essentially an electrified tennis bat. Although, you can stand the product up by itself or in the charging stand so it can be used as a standard fly killer unit. Very easy to use, charge with the cable and turn on to use. I was surprised at the loud crack and spark when I managed to kill a fly, I hadn’t expected it because when the product is on the purple light is quite weak. The product does work although there is something about wildly waving this product that makes me feel stupid.

Golden Review Award: 19 From Our UsersThis is a rechargeable battery operated electric fly zapper. It includes a dock so it can stand upright at 44cm tall. It includes a USB type C cable for charging purposes.

    Things I liked:
    – handy on/off switch
    – long lasting 1,200mAh battery
    – noticeable UV-A light
    – effective fly zapper
    – safety protection grill stops fingers form touching UV-A lamp

Overall, it has a satisfying crackle noise when it zaps a moth or fly. I do like the over-sized operation button.

Golden Review Award: 20 From Our UsersThis mosquito killer is a little different to the usual tennis racket device in that it comes with a charging station and can be left on, with the blue light illuminated, to attract mosquitos in the same way that a circular static mosquito killer is. In that sense this is a two-in-one device to eliminate insects. Of course, it can be used in the normal racket style trying to hit mosquitos. It does work rather well in a static position in the charger because of its flat shape. It exposes a large area of electrified wire to attract a passing insect, more so that the round mosquito killers.

Overall, therefore, I think it’s better than most similar products. There are a a couple of issues. First, the unit is charged by a USB cable but you don’t get a converter plug to plug it into a standard U.K. socket. That said I’m sure most people will have several adapters about. It’s also worth noting that the charge base uses a micro-USB input rather than the more up to date USB-C input. I’d prefer the latter. Finally, the power base is not an induction charger – like a electric toothbrush. There are small metal charging pins in the charger base that need to be aligned with the connectors in the ‘handle’ of the racket.

Overall though a decent product. Four stars.

it definitely lives up to it’s name when a fly goes in it is well and truly ZAPPED you know because the sound is very loud, i was going to use it in the bedroom but if a bug goes in it will wake me as the sound is loud, you also see smoke coming off as it zaps. well fries them, i’m going to keep it in the conservatory as i have to doors open to my garden when it is nice, i really like it is rechargable so doesn’t need to be plugged in all the time and it has lights to show you progress of charging/life left in the battery which is really helpful, the on off switch is easy to use and you can have the light on or off

Golden Review Award: 15 From Our UsersOff the bat I have to say a quick reconnoitre of these kind of products on Amazon – this device has a higher asking price.

I have tried a battery powered “tennis racket” like version of this kind of fly swatter a while back, but I really don’t have a good metric to cross compare this to the cheaper variants that are rechargeable.

What I can say is that the device seems to be well made.

It is less like a games racket in design – even though it functions much the same.

That’s probably down to the fact it can be used as stationary fly killer.

That segues into the charging base, which is USB powered, so as is so often the case you’re going to need a free socket to charge this.

However the design makes more sense, in it’s holder with the UV light on it is not so bad, I mean I won’t go as far as to describe it as good looking – but good for purpose, and the simple white plastic form does then blend better into the background.

And again the rechargeable aspect is welcome.

When you remove it from the base station, you can set it in the second working mode. Charge is displayed by four green lights, and when it is on in either the UV mode or the “racket” mode a red light.
There’s a sliding grey switch on the side for off, and the two on positions.

To activate the device on when you have it hand as a racket you depress the long grey trigger on the reverse of the handle.

    And it does work.

The mesh is multi layered and then does a good job on intercepting flies.
Apparently you can touch it, and be okay, I haven’t tried that.

Speed is actually less important than stealth, in this respect it is not dissimilar to a regular swatter, slow as not to be a threat before moving quickly works.
But you can get lucky with speed in the air too.

And you will know, the 4000v does make the fly snap and even bang on contact.

Also the device does emit a high pitched noise that most adults won’t hear, children maybe, the dog definitely knows when it is on.

I am pretty pleased with this.

    EDIT.
    Still pleased with this.

I wanted to add that this has proven to work very well as stationary fly killer too, when in the charging base with the UV light on, (it runs down quite quickly if not powered) this out performs a regular style static UV fly killer at least going by the bangs and clicks flies hitting the meshes make.

So it worth looking at as a two for one device.

    It works!

Golden Review Award: 7 From Our UsersAdems de la raqueta viene un soporte que es una base de carga (con cable USB), que nos sirve para cargar la batera de la raqueta y para poner la raqueta y que esta quede de pie apoyada en la base. La raqueta tiene dos formas de funcionar. Modo manual y modo automtico.

Well it works and you know when you swat a fly it lights up and makes a buzz noise I found it took a couple of hours to charge up and it was really good that there are lights on the handle to inform you on it’s progress so all in all a very effective fly catcher that you can be use almost anywhere

The bug zapper came in good looking cardboard box which we can keep for storaging the zapper off season.
Inside the box is pre-charged zapper, desk stand and micro USB charging cable. Zapper is great, effective. Once bug is in contact with it, it makes electric shock sound and bug is gone for good. Scent of burned hair spreads through the air once bug has been shocked by this electric rocket. The zapper has uv light which may attract insects at night. The switch button is sliding style so we don’t need to hold it when in use. This zapper doesn’t have movable head, like my previous zapper. I found my previous zapper to be more effective for that reason as I could catch the fly or mosquito sitting even on ceiling or wall. Any way, this zapper also does the job but when I chase the fly manually. It kills the fly effectively. When I left the zapper on its own, in the holder, with blue light on, not even one fly came to it.. we had like 4 flies around.. I’m not sure does this light actually attract flies or not, but still, I don’t mind to chase them with zapper in hand 😉
This zapper is very handy and no single batteries need to be replaced, just charge the built in battery and you are ready to defeat the beast.
The micro usb cable we need to connect to the stand and then place zapper in it fir charge via special connection.
    I’m happy with it.

    Kills flies instantly

    Funciona

Golden Review Award: 22 From Our UsersThis is a tennis racket style ‘zapperc that sits in a small charger powered by USB. I tried this in my bedroom at night in the dark. I did this because o a UV light is on it that attracts any insects in the room and zaps them.. I’m using it because my bedroom is looking out onto the garden and when the windows open at night critters come in and eat me alive, mosquitoes, midges, whatever.
When an insect is attracted to the light you hear a little, erm no quite loud BANG and a flas as it’s killed instantly. It’s unlikely that you’re going to get any sleep with this is on unless you are seriously heavy sleeper as it’s quite a loud pop. It makes me jump out of my skin every time I hear it anyway!
I would only ever use this indoors. I think it’s cruel to kill insects in the garden where they belong, and in any case birds love to eat mosquitoes and midges so best to leave them where they belong.
If we are dining al fresco dining I just use a citronella candle or essential oil to repel any pesky flying critters.
Advertisement says that this can be used on bees. Do NOT kill bees!! They are friendly furry and cute and we need them, they are essential to our ecosystem. They are really struggling at the moment with the heatwave, pesticides and all sorts of parasites. If bees die – we die too!
The light is quite bright and enough to keep you awake. But more than that it does BANG every time it catches an insect and it will frighten the life out of you. Even when you know what it is, it still makes you jump out of your skin! The cat is terrified of it and won’t go in the room while it’s on 🙁
For this reason I would recommend that you place this in a room before you enter to sleep and switch it off during sleeping hours. Maybe get yourself a mosquito screen for the window if you’re really being bothered because I don’t think you’ll get any sleep with this on.
I hope it works on moths as we are absolutely plagued with them in our wardrobes and pantry!
Tomorrow I’ll be moving to another room on a clothes moth hunt.

**, when this goes off it sounds just like a cap gun, and there are flashes. It’s quite scary, especially in a dark bedroom. You couldn’t use this with children is it would terrify them.
I’m writing this review on my mobile phone in the dark in bed and in the time I’ve written this it’s killed about 10 critters. Each time the bang has nearly made me hit the ceiling, as it scared the bejeezus out of me!!!! It also makes the cat run away!

I have not used this as a fly swat. I honestly cannot bear bluebottles and hate them so much I don’t even think I could bear to touch them with this. In addition, I’m not a sadist and don’t think I would enjoy the explosion and kill. Ewwwww
