Daran muss man denken.

Installation was very easy: I installed the cameras into a wooden post so didn’t even need drill and the included wall fixing.

The camera swivels on a firm ball joint and I especially liked the fact that this allowed me to make adjustments after fitting without having to worry about precision positioning of the screws.

I did struggle initially to connect the cameras to the hub. This was partly due to the very brief printed instructions. However, as soon as I opened the Aosu app, the app found the cameras and connected them to the hub.

I am honestly very impressed by the quality of the captured images. This is the case for daytime images where colours are vibrant and details are sharp (very sharp for a wireless motion camera).

The night images are however beyond excellent – simply unbelievable in terms of both the amount of light that the camera is capturing and the IR illumination provided by the camera’s IR emitters.

This is even more impressive given the wide viewing angle – 166 degrees. The wide angle of image capture is one of the things I like best about the cameras. The camera captures pretty much the whole length of my garden both during the day and during the night.

As you can see from the brief night video, the image is bright and distinct despite the fact that there are very few light sources in the garden (the glow sticks are not at all bright). The small dog is captured very nicely as is her motion and her position at the bottom of the garden.

As sad as it sounds, I like to watch the bugs flying near the camera lens at night when the IR mode has turned on. I’m impressed that the camera manages to capture their motion.

The motion detection is fantastic. I am very impressed. There are motion detection sensitivity options in the app and these settings (grades of close, medium, and far) can be altered on a per camera basis.

There is also a privacy protection zone detection feature that allows you to block out parts of the picture in order to protect the privacy of neighbours. I have used this feature partly because the wide angle of capture is so good that I could not use the camera at the front of my house without capturing the neighbours’ properties.

The motion detection is great at detecting humans (including small toddler humans!) but it does seem to detect animals – dogs, cats, and foxes. This may be a good thing – no false alarms – but it would also be nice to capture the occasional glimpse of wildlife. That said, the less false notifcations the better.

Notifications can be a bit of a nuisance initially. There is an in-app option to silence notifications for a number of hours or to silence notifications on a app control basis in iOS. There’s also an “intelligent” notification mode in the app that allows algorithm processing of images before a notification is sent thus reducing false notifications.

I have the setting in “immediate” notification. I haven’t received a single false notification in the three weeks I have been using the cameras. Every notification has detected human movement. It impressed me hugely especially given other much more expensive cameras I have seen in action.

I really like the fact that notifications are sent to my phone almost instantaneously. As soon as motion is detected, the notification is received within less than a second. This is wonderful because it means that especially when I am out of the house I can access live camera mode to see what is happening with little or no delay. The Aosu app and camera system produces some of the fastest notifications I have ever seen from any motion detection system. I am guessing, but it is just a guess, that the hub is doing some clever work here.

The hub is easy to set up – plug in, connect ethernet cable and it works. I am using a Powerline style adapter to connect the hub to my router and it works very well.

The only negative points I can make are: the video playback on the Aosu app is not always great.

Sometimes the saved video will start playing from the two second mark and it is difficult to get it to play from the start of the clip. Eventually, after multiple attempts, the video will play from the start but it is an annoying problem albeit by no means a show stopper.

There’s also no video scrubbing within the app – moving the playhead to, say, second four doesn’t move the video to second four. The video tends to jump backwards or forwards and there’s also no live scrubbing of the video.

The solution is to download the saved video/event by pressing the download arrow in the video’s timeline. I can then view the video using my own video player.

I wish that it was possible to access videos across the network using a computer/smartphone but the Aosu hub doesn’t seem to accept network connections.

In terms of battery life, I have used the cameras intensively over the last few weeks – accessing them for probably five to ten minutes a day on some days to view live feeds. I am down to 57% battery on on one camera and 60% on the other camera. Recharging is easy – just unclip the camera and plug into a USB-C fast charger. There are two USB-C cables and an ethernet cable included in the box.

The live feed is very good and one of the features I like the best. If I receive a notification of a motion detected “event”, I will often access the camera’s live mode and view what is happening in real time. It’s possible from the live mode to save a video – as you are watching the live feed. The video will be saved directly to the device you are viewing it on (in my case my iPhone) for offline and repeat viewing.

Waterproofing is very good. Mine has been exposed in the recent stormy and rainy weather and it has performed wonderfully – even managing to detect human motion (me in a head to toe coat) in very heavy rain.

I don’t really use the intercom system much although it does work very well. I use it occasionally to communicate with a family member in the garden (more often than not as a joke) but I can see that as a front door camera perhaps for a larger house it would be very useful. It was also be good for speaking to somebody at the front door via the live feed function – a motion detection is received and then a live feed conversation can take place. The notifications provided by Aosu are so prompt that this is actually possible with the Aosu camera system. The camera speaker provides clear audio with adjustable volume in the app. The microphone is also pretty good. There can occasionally be a small delay in picking up audio (speech) but this is very minor, infrequent, and possibly a consequence of both parties trying to speak at the same time.

The spotlight illumination is a nice feature. It isn’t particularly bright – no way will it illuminate a garden – but it will light a spot position and it is, after all, called a “spotlight”! It’s good to use when answering the door.

There are also some nice security stickers in the box. I doubt they would deter a committed thief but they may deter an uncommitted one and they also look good. I have stuck one on my front door!

I was a bit doubtful about having a motion detection camera system let alone a wireless camera system. I believed that a wired camera with a continuous recording facility must be the best option. The Aosu system has changed my mind.

The video quality together with the unbelievable good night vision and the impressive motion detection means that this is the best outdoor camera system I have owned.

    Pros:

    – incredible night vision and image quality
    – easy to install (fixings provided and WiFi connection to hub via the Aosu app)
    – wonderful wide angle of capture (166 degrees)
    – very sharp image (easy to appreciate the difference between this 5MP system and lesser resolutions)
    – very good motion detection with few false alerts (but doesn’t pick up wildlife)
    – app has lots of features including an impressive privacy masking feature
    – excellent battery life (even with daily live viewing) and battery is very easy to recharge
    – very easy to download “event” videos for offline viewing
    – intercom audio is clear both in terms of the camera speaker and the camera microphone
    – motion notifications are almost instant: as soon as motion is detected a notification appears on my phone when at home or remotely

    Cons:

    – printed instructions are very brief
    – video playback on the Aosu app could be refined and improved (especially video jumping at start)
    – no ability to access videos through a network connectio

Oustanding night vision and excellent motion detectio

I picked up this security camera set for a family member who spends quite a bit of time abroad and they specifically wanted to be able to see what was going out at their house when they were away, and this set looked to be up to the job. Also, they can use it with their Alexa devices at home and abroad.

It arrived well packaged in a retail box and inside you get the Base Station, 2 x Wi-Fi Cameras, Ethernet Cable, UK Power Adapter and attached cable for the Base Station, 2 x USB-A to USB-C Charging Cables, 2 x Wall Mounts, 2 x Mounting Accessory Packs and Instructions. You do I need to download the AOSU App from the Play or App store and then link this to your Smart Home set-up, in their case Alexa. As this is Wi-Fi, you do need to set-up an account in the App, with password, and link it to your Wi-Fi.

The base is straightforward enough. On the rear you have a power port, Ethernet port, USB-A port and a Sync button. On the front there is a light up ring, that when the device is paired, and set-up is a static blue colour. Cameras have an on/off button, together with a covered USB-C port and speaker on the button. The rear had the mounting thread for the wall mount.

Now, I have set this up in my study come office now and the reason being that the family member is abroad as I write. So, it was a great time to set this up and check they could access the cameras while they were abroad, prior to them coming home and installing them.

Setting it all up was really quite easy, although the first part of the instructions being correct would have helped, having done the account set-up and wi-fi password. The base station simply plugs into your router. Withing the App, when you go to add the base unit, it brings up a scanning window and using your phones camera and you simply scan the QR code on the back of the base unit. You do the same for pairing both the cameras. When adding your cameras, you can name them and there is a list of locations, internal & external, or you can add your own.

Then it is about familiarising yourself around the functionality of the App and what it can do. I did find there were firmware updates for the cameras and base stations, so be prepared to do that straight away upon setting up. I did have some issues with the update for the cameras. You can set up motion detection zones, you can have more than one zoner per camera. Video recording quality, night vision, notifications, battery management, etc. There is also the opposite of motion detection and that is privacy zones.

Storage wise, you have 32Gb on the base unit, with 30Gb available for storage, and you can set this to overwrite to oldest footage when it becomes full, or you can sign up to their cloud storage. Having set all this up, I was then able to send a sharing link to my family member, that they were able to use to set up an account and access the cameras. It all worked fine, and they were able to see and hear from either camera. Both picture and sound quality were very good, when zooming in the quality help up well.

A couple of pointers with this. A decent wi-fi signal between the base and cameras is essential. Within the App, there is a “Mounting Guide” option, which will detect the signal strength where you are intending to site the camera. Which is very useful.

These are battery powered and it is too early for me to be able to comment on the battery life and although it says 365-days, this is going to on all the lowest settings and the results were achieved in a lab, not in real life conditions. Things like cold weather, frost, snow, etc are all going to impact on battery life.

Overall, this is a very good two-camera system, that is easy to set-up and offers great picture and sound quality.
I have uploaded video with this review but it is low resolution due to file size.

I hope you found this review & photos interesting, informative, and useful. Thanks for reading.

When I first got this and started setting it up, it was so frustrating that I almost threw it in the skip. The instructions tell you that you have to wait for the base station LED to turn blue, and no matter how many times I tried it, in whatever physical location I’d placed it, it stubbornly refused to turn blue. Then I read reviews from other Amazon sites and a gentleman from Germany said in his review that he had the same issue and the base station had merely jumped a step (I couoldn’t see a link anywhere to flag his review as helpful, but it really was).

After the little hiccup on starting, everything else was very straighforward. The range is good, image quality is exceptional, physical mounting points easily accommodated, and the ability to converse with people picked up by the camera is really well done (that was very well thought out, with my wife being able to use the disguised voice when at home while I had gone out, such that visitors didn’t know there was a solitary female indoors).

the system is high quality, easy to use, has no monthly subscription plan necessary (unlike our Logitech Circle camera which wants 13.99 per month if we want toi review recordings from over 1 day ago), and can be recommended if you want a home camera monitoring system

AOSU is a well-known name when it comes to security/IP and smart cameras, and they have a reputation for delivering quality (granted you often pay for it). I was therefore hopeful that their two cameras and home unit kit lived up to their previous models, and in short, it does.

Firstly the picture quality is exceptional. I’m not completely sure if “5MP” equates to “5K” in terms of resolution, but it is clearly superior to my existing 1080p camera system. You can use digital zoom to close in on detail and that detail remains surprisingly clear. Day or night, sun or rain, it has so far dealt with everything and remained clear.

It’s not just the picture quality that makes these cameras great. They are easy to set up and install with no monthly fee (others charge a subscription service for cloud storage). The viewing angle on the camera really is wide but somehow manages to avoid “fish-eye.” There are a lot of features, everything from the spotlight and alarm, to having pre-recorded “warning” messages and the ability to turn off the LED to make them less obvious (a feature I’ve never seen before). Being able to set up custom detection zones for movement is really helpful, it means you can exclude the public walkway, the road in front of your property and so forth.

Battery life is excellent, and while it depends on use (how many times the spotlight and siren activate etc), I doubt they will need to be recharged often. One of my cameras is installed very high so I’ve rigged a USB cable (with the other end in a small, cheap water-proof box) so I can use a power bank when it finally needs a top-up.

I did have a small ‘glitch’ with one of the cameras. Essentially the app would “freeze” when I tried to access the camera. I’m not sure if the fault lay with the camera, the app, or my smartphone. However simply uninstalling the app and starting again fixed the problem (and it has not reoccurred since).

They may seem a bit expensive, but you get what you pay for. In this case two high-quality cameras that offer unequaled picture quality with plenty of features. This system will not let you down and is well worth considering.

Nachdem unsere nun fast 18 Jahre alten berwachungskameras langsam den Geist aufgeben, musste etwas Neues her.

    Klare Empfehlung.

so right off the bat I’m really impressed with these security cameras, they are really easy to set up and have loads of functions I’ve not seen before on other WIFI cameras we’ve used. the view angle is really wide its got an alarm function, spot light(which isnt the brightest in my opinion), and motion sensor. also whilst in the app, allows you to 2 way talk to whoever you see in the view, gives you an option to disguise your voice and also has some pre installed phrases like “WHAT ARE YOU DOING HERE!” plus a couple of others, and the ability to trigger the alarm remotely aswell as the spotlight. i also liked that you can turn off the little led indicator on the camera to make it a little less noticeable at night. you can also adjust the sensor detection areas and alarmed zones, and privacy zones that blank out areas so your not spying on neighbours unwillingly.

the cameras come with the wall mounts and screws needed for both cameras. the main indoor hub unit is easily installed using the supplied cables directly to the wifi router and the app to get everything up and running, you follow the instructions on the app and your up and running in minuets.

when i had everything running there were some camera and hub updates to install which took a few minuets but that’s no bother.

mounting the cameras was easy, but i did come across a couple of small issues. the back plate that screws to the wall was easy enough, but then you have to slide on the the rest of it that the camera was attached to. it was pretty stiff to lock it into place. and then you still have to screw the camera on if you haven’t already done that, the post is quite short and makes it difficult to screw on tightly. once you managed all that, you can angle and position the camera where you need it. there is some restriction on the angle at which the camera can be mounted (so ive ended up buying a different camera mount that allows me to turn it 90 degrees so it points down the driveway.

despite a couple of small issues mounting the camera in my desired location, the angle of the camera view is really wide. it may take a little trial and error to get the sensor angle right . for example if i mount the camera from upstairs its too high and too far away for the sensor to work well. but if i mount it on the side of the conservatory under the guttering its a little too low to the ground and the sensor doesnt always pick up things to the widest reaches of its camera view angle. so unfortunaly for my back garden im limited on where i can mount the camera because the conservatory is in the way. despite that the cameras work really well, and gives great images, and a way to communicate

    Fazit:
Einfache Installation, ohne Strom bzw. PoE berall mglich.

Our security camera is rather old and only displays the front door area but doesn’t record. I’ve been putting off installing a new system because of the need for running cables. The old camera’s cable is unusable.

The security camera set arrives in a decent retail box along with everything needed to set up a wireless security system. You get two cameras and one base station. The base station needs to be connected to your network router or modem via the supplied RJ45 lead and the power supply connected.

You need to set up the cameras and base station before installing the cameras in their places. There’s a mobile app that needs to be downloaded which will do all the work for you. All you need to do is follow the step-by-step procedures offered by the app. I had no real problems doing this. The only error was that the base station LED should turn blue after powering up, and it didn’t. It went straight to flashing green which means it had skipped a step and had me scratching my head for a while.

The cameras need to be installed within range of the base station. To save hassle the mobile app will check the signal strength by placing the phone at the location wanted. The range seems to be quite good, but all houses are different and will probably have blind spots. Remember that the cameras will need recharging, so they need to be mounted somewhere you can access them.

The method of mounting the cameras is far too limiting for my liking. Basically, the camera mount has to put on a vertical surface, and I found there wasn’t as much angular movement as there should be with a decent mounting. You can’t mount the camera in anything other than upright. Upside down and sideways is not workable because the image display will not be upright. Surely it wouldn’t be too much effort to get the software to auto rotate the image.

The base station has a built-in 32GB of storage, but this cannot be expanded. Considering they have a USB port on the base station, they could have allowed a pen drive to be inserted to extend the storage capacity.

On the plus side of things, the image quality of the cameras is pretty outstanding. They are crisp and sharp. You get full colour during the day, but they switch to black and white once it starts to get too dark. They have an array of infrared LEDs that switches on allowing the camera to see in the dark. You can optionally set a white light to illuminate should you wish to let the person know the camera is picking them up. You can even talk and hear them if so wish, but I did find the sound was a bit scratchy.

Neighbour privacy is catered for by limiting the area that the movement sensor detects. That way you don’t end up with lots of triggers for your neighbour’s house. This is really helpful when you have a shared driveway.

The instructions make no mention of using Alexa or Google voice control even though the product page says it does. It does work fine, at least with Alexa (don’t have Google). You have to add a skill called ‘aosu’ and connect it to your Aosu account. Then you can say something like “Alexa, show front door camera” and after a few seconds the camera asked for will display on your Echo device (assuming of course that it has a screen). This is really handy, but it does have a downside. While the Echo device is displaying the camera’s image, the camera stays on and starts eating battery capacity. I tried doing this overnight and before the morning the camera’s battery was exhausted.

There is a way around this. The camera carries on working fine when it’s being recharged. The solution then is to get permanent USB power to the camera. I’ve done this for the front door camera using a simple USB power adaptor. The back door is not so easy, but I’m looking into getting a USB solar charger as a possible solution. The system will still do it’s recording on detection of movement even when connected permanently to Alexa.

The current price is just short of 320 which is a little high. I guess you are paying for the simplicity of the system. The quality is great, but there are a few niggles with the setup.

Overall, great but has a few niggly points. I hope that helps.

Great but has a few niggly points.

I found this an outstanding product. Very easy to install, app was easy to install as well and configured the system. Cameras are light and also easy to install, I was concerned I had put the too high but they performed perfectly. The hub worked right out of the box once plugged into my router and found the camera with out any issues, they just needed some adjustment to get the view I was looking for. We live in an old RAF Mess which is all thick brick and concrete but that didn’t interfere with the signals from the cameras, the are both c. 20 feet from the hub. Brilliant picture on both my iPad and iPhone. In my view this set is excellent value and has performed much better than expected.

This is truly a bargain for those looking for a way to install security without cables and too much drilling. I live in a rental property and I have been told I can drill anything to the brickwork or run any cables. I travel a lot and I wanted a way to ensure I could keep an eye on my property while still abiding by the wishes of my landlord. This was a fantastic option for me.

The video playback offers a sharp quality and thanks to the local storage capability, you don’t have any monthly fees to pay as everything is downloaded straight to the central hub. You get 32GB of memory which is more than enough to provide you with half a year’s worth of recordings. Once you fill up the system it just records over the oldest saved video. You can always be ensured that you have this recording at all times which is very reassuring.

In terms of the battery life on the cameras being able to record without charging for a whole year, well I have had these going now for a week and I’m already down to 90 per cent so I doubt that statement is true. However, if I can get at least 2 months before I need to charge them again, I will be very happy.

This does contain some really nice smart features that I’m still exploring to this day. The Radar Motion Detection is a nice little feature as you can adjust the sensitivity to only detect a human. So no animals or cars will set it off. I have tried this and it seems to work most of the time. When I go out for the day I set a moving target on my front and back door. The cameras are so clever they can actually detect a human walking toward the door. I get an alert sent straight to my phone letting me know.

This does have speakers and a microphone so if I wanted to I could tell them that they are on camera and leave. Luckily I haven’t had to do that yet. You can even disguise your voice to make it deeper, intimidating the intruder. This was slightly gimmicky for me and likely something I won’t take advantage of.

Setup is rather easy, it is pretty much plug-and-play. The wireless distance is somewhat decent but I would suggest moving the radius too far. You can add another two cameras if you like and I do intend on doing this in the future as the phone app allows you to watch a live view of up to 4 cameras. You could essentially cover your whole house, completely wirelessly. I can also share the ability to view my cameras via invite through the app. My mother in law as the app and she has full access to the cameras to also monitor the home when we aren’t there.

All in all for the price you get peace of mind without the tiresome setup and subscription fees. You just simply sync up the cameras, sort out everything on the app and connect up and you are good to go. The only thing that may be off-putting for some is having to recharge the cameras maybe two or three times a year, but for me, that is indeed a trade-off for the wireless abilities and not something that bothers me. Highly recommend especially for those who don’t want to run cables and drill holes.

    Hope this review helps.

    Ease of installation
Easy to connect and set up
    App easy to navigate
    Daytime Image quality
    Night time image quality
    Wireless range
    Video image quality
    Battery life
    Ease of recharging
    Waterproof
    The overall quality and performance

This 5MP Ultra HD wide angled security system from Jaosu is nothing short of brilliant. It’s very straightforward to install and position the 2 included cameras and connectivity to the wireless network is also a simple process using the well-produced free-to-use app.

No issues connecting to our home network and the quality of images and threat/intruder/movement detection has so far proved to be spot on as has the mobile alert system which informs us accurately of goings-on within the front and rear gardens/drive of our home. The app is transparent with no costs or hidden costs which is refreshing as it’s very capable while being user-friendly and easy to navigate.

Image quality is exceptional, day or night and the cameras offer a genuine deterrent to would-be intruders, trespassers or potential antisocial behaviour near the home or workplace etc. The two-way sound is good and makes it useful for parcel deliveries and alerting potential intruders that you are aware of their presence etc. We have the cameras set with an alert light that offers an immediate alert and genuinely throws a powerful spotlight on those approaching. There’s also a siren feature which is impressively loud and really would make a potential intruder aware that they’re not welcome. The mic on the cameras is as good as it gets and clearly relays and records from a relatively good distance and considerably adds to the quality of recordings etc.

Battery life is said to be 365 days and has so far proved to be strong and reliable. We find it best if the cameras are set up to record only when something is detected through the motion detection feature as it’s a pretty much immediate detection as opposed to recording round the clock which will impact the life of the batteries over time.

In summary, it’s an effective, easy-to-operate system that efficiently goes about its business that anybody with basic DIY and minimal technical abilities can use successfully, so I’m more than happy to recommend it. It’s just very good!

Thanks for taking the time to read my review, I hope you found it helpful.

    All the bes

An exceptional system that doesn't require paid apps or great technical ability to operate. A+

I was allowed to aosu Outdoor WiFi Surveillance Camera [Radar Motion Detection & 360 Days Battery Power] 166 Wide Angle, 32GB Local Storage, Wireless Camera Compatible with Alexa/Google for free as part of the Amazon Vine program, but I will still give an honest evaluation. That is the job to give fair review that makes people decision easier.
I mainly use the surveillance camera system for my front door and side area. I live in a corner house. A lot of activities take place. I also notice a lot of people just trough garbage and cigrate buds Infront of my house. Which is a big problem.
With the aosu surveillance camera station wagon, we finally wanted to discover possible perpetrators. It is very convenient that the camera works without a power cable and the batter last up 360 day. So far ti is summer and I expect they will last longer. But I do expect that in winter the timings might reduce.
The connection to the WLAN was also always constant with the home base amplifies the WiFi signal. It should also be mentioned that the videos are encrypted and stored locally on the home base. The installation step by step is mentioned in the video. So I can say installing the camera was not very difficult and connecting both the cameras with the base was easy to do.

The smartphone app is very easy to use and you get notification with movement detection on your smartphone. You also have the possibility to communicate with someone from the camera which is inbuilt function within the camera. With The app from your smart phone you can also makes it easy to select areas when the camera should sound the alarm and you get notify on your smart phone. The security camera is even compatible with Amazon and google Alexa.

The picture quality is very sharp. The build quality is also very high. The price-performance ratio fits. Initially it had a price listed of 365 euros but currently I can’t see what price they will sell on Amazon. The Rain and snow are also no problem and IP67. You also have 32GB memory card which can save 10s recording 20 times a day. SO far the surveillance camera meet the expectation. I’ll add any additional comments if I do notice any new developments or quality issues . We are very satisfied and I can give 4.5 stars

Thank you for taking the time to read my review aosu Outdoor WiFi Surveillance Camera [Radar Motion Detection & 360 Days Battery Power] 166 Wide Angle, 32GB Local Storage, Wireless Camera Compatible with Alexa/Google. I hope I was able to help you a little with your purchase decision. Good luck:)

I have just installed these cameras and installation process was very easy. Connect the hub to your router via provided lan cable and power on. Connect your phone to your wifi network and download and install the aosu app from your chosen store (AppStore for us). Add new product and select the product from the list. It finds the new hub straight away and completes the install. Next power on both the cameras and these are also found straight away. Connect and configure both of these and that’s them named and connected.
Next you need to position them and there is a handy “Mounting Guide” option that tells you to position your camera in the approx installation position and it will tell you if the network signal is strong enough. We have one router in our living room and one camera was for the front door and one was for the back. It is a 4 bedroom detached and in both locations, the network signal was “Very Strong” so I think the wifi connectivity of these is great.
We installed one above our front door and it gives a clear view of the door itself, but also right along the driveway and both cars.
For the back door one, we installed it on our hut which sits opposite out back door about 3 feet from the house. It is therefore positioned at the corner of the house about 3 feet out and this gives excellent visibility along the side path into the back garden and right across the back of the house including the back door at one side and patio doors at the far end. You can adjust the sensitivity of the camera to either include or exclude movement at the patio door end as required (i.e. if you use this door yourself a lot).
Another great feature is the ability to set privacy sections (2 per camera). This is basically 2 rectangles which, once set, are blacked out from the camera feed. This is ideal if your camera captures adjacent neighbouring properties. You can simply black these out from being captured/recorded.
We’ve fully charged the cameras before installation but only time will tell how long they last in between charges. If we get even close to the year that is reported, we’ll be very happy.
Notifications are about the same as the camera we had before, i.e. there is a slight delay between the event and the notification itself, but its not so big a delay as to cause any issues.
All in all, I’m very happy with the quality of the picture you get with these cameras, much clearer than the 1080p ones they replaced. Night vision and included light are also great. We have a security/flood light at our back door so even at night, you get great quality images/vidoe’s of what’s happening.
One minor downside is the included 32Gb of storage is not expandable. There is no card slot in the back of the hub, and the USB as far as I can tell is just for charging the camera’s (there is no included 2A/5V USB charger, but luckily, we already had one of these). So other than no expandable storage, and not including a 2A/5V USB plug, this package is a great option for someone looking to upgrade their home security.

This is very easy to set up and totally wire-free so anyone can fit this, once you’ve downloaded the app and linked to the wifi you can log in via your phone from anywhere in the world, the hub has 32GB built in which can record for up to a year and the battery life is supposedly also up to a year depending on use, you get notifications to your mobile and the field of view is very nice and the night vision very good too, with the 2k resolution you can lots more detail than with 1080 systems.

While the picture shows two cameras I wasn’t sure i’d receive two as the information on the page doesn’t seem to mention two. You do however get two which is a massive plus for me as the coverage is excellent.
Battery life is reportable 1 year, which if true is amazing. Recharging cameras is a huge pain so at least these minimise that.
Picture be viewed through a computer, phone or Alexa device.
The images are crystal clear and easily to distinguish faces and smaller items within the pictures.
The quality doesn’t waver at night or in bad weather conditions.
I feel my house is much more secure for having these.
