I like the build volume , great looking machine and the prints are amazingly detailed however what you gain in detail you loose in the time it takes to print , my last 2 statues 13 hrs a piece, slow

This was very easy to set up and use. The print quality was really good and I liked the details shown on my minis. Clean up can be a bit of a pain but it’s not bad. This is a great starter resin printer and a great price.

These printers are just the right tool to print minis. I use them to print 28mm figures and they are pretty much flawless. Highly recommend these printers.

This thing is great. It has taken me about 4 kgs of resin to start to understand the properties. The printer itself is great, but if your new to printing the way the models get rendered makes a huge different pre supported not supported. the programs you use to create your models is a big learning curve.

Its a not my favorite resin Printer, but is good. What I like about this printer is the Resin Range Exposure Finder that comes with the machine, I have other resin printers and they don’t have it. I use this one to find the best exposure time for new resins and then base on those results I adjust for my other printers, one is Kingroon and the others are QIDI. The built quality is plastic and aluminum, not the best but for the price is good. The print quality is also good. One more thing I like about it is that the top cover seals with the base keeping the odor/smell inside the machine, since its sealed.

Never made a 3D model or used splicer software or a 3D printer before I got this. Set up was easy, and my very first project printed perfectly. So I’m more than happy.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersEasy to setup and easy to use. Been printing miniatures and similar items non stop since it arrived. Clean up isn’t as bad as I expected, and I’d rather do this clean up and support removal than any support removal on an FDM printer on small items ever again. I wish the price jump from this size to something larger wasn’t so large, but I think for this print bed size, at under $200, this was a great time to jump into resin printing.
Been using Chitubox free for slicing. Sometimes PrusaSlicer to orient and add supports if needed.

Perfect time to get a resin printer of this size

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersAfter always having trouble with my filament 3D printer (stuck filament, clogged nozzle etc.) I decided I’ll try out resin.

This printer is excellent for beginners, has a touch screen and is easy to operate. Also super-fast. I printed my first 3D print which was a little sleeping cat in about an hour. In its fastest setting it would have only taken 30 minutes. The print came out better than what I ever printed with filament.
However, resin is a mess. You have to clean the prints and everything else in alcohol. You’re not supposed to get anything of the resin on your hands. And if you do anything wrong your prints are going to have a white residue on them that can’t be removed. Resin is a kind of frustrating concept – but not the printer’s fault.

On the downside: Well, what can you expect for a $200 printer? Of course they used only cheap materials: The screen is not scratch proof at all, so I scratched it when leveling. I used it in my garage and a tiny piece of sand got stuck under the leveling paper. The touch screen is old tech, its not capacitive (sensing your body’s electricity) but resistive (like pressing an air bubble, a tech from the first touch devices in the 90s). And changing the resin bath is super expensive (I hope cheaper alternatives become available soon, cause the price Anycubic demands for a framed sheet of plastic is just ridiculous).

Overall my experience was good, and for the price it’s really a steal.

Easy to set up and use, do have to recalibrate sometimes but that may be because of the models. Would buy again.

im sharing some pictures and videos of my very first print with this printer right out the box.

Printer is working great! It is much faster than my Photon-S. The print quality is great. I am very happy with this printer.

That said, there are few design elements to note that do not suit my preference:

    – The new build plate attachment cannot be flipped 180 degrees, which is how I prefer to drain my hollow models. This is not deal-breaker by any means. It does mean extra resin to clean out, which increases time and cost in clean-up phase.

    – The vat (side note: is made of plastic) has a swappable FEP ASSEMBLY. If you hate tensioning FEPs, this is for you. I prefer to disassemble and swap the FEP myself, as this allows better cost control and specificity over brand/material used and finetuning tension.

Despite these preferential issues, the printer performs excellently.

This is a good printer I highly recommend purchasing if you are looking to get into resin printing. I have multiple printers and these are quite good for beginners.

I ordered this to print parts for my model railroad. I was able to start printing the sample print in just under and hour after opening the box. Quality is amazing on the printer, and look forward to many many prints.

Came with all the parts I needed to print. Gloves, filters, leveling paper and scrapers for both the film and for removing thing from the print bed.

    Super simple to setup

This SLA 3d printer is awesome! Extremely user friendly for beginners and simple setup! 2k Monochrome screen allows for fast layers, longer life and higher quality prints with a 130mm(L)x80mm(W)x165mm(H) build area. Good touchscreen and user interface is easy to navigate. Transfer files via USB only. I plan to buy a sovol 3d anodized aluminum resin vat and magnetic flexible steel plate flex bed for ease of use. Make sure you grab a wash and cure machine and plenty of isopropyl alcohol!

This was my third 3d printer, and my first photon mono. I purchased from Amazon seller WiJorlan. This has been my best 3d printer purchase experience, to date. The printer came extremely well packaged. My son helped me setup and level it, which was surprisingly easy and only took us about 10 minutes to do so. Test print was a success, and the detail was excellent. I am very happy thus far. I do recommend that beginners search for video tutorials to aid in their learning.

From the ground up this is the best printer I ever owned, I have been full time printing the last 8 years and nothing can compare to the efficiency and quality this product offers. Before factoring in the low entry cost, this printer is easy to set up and print your first successful print.

Of the 5 resin printers I have, the output and success rate is by far the best on the Mono. The build plate is a huge upgrade from the anycubic photon, I have not releveled the bed in over 30 prints so far and not to mention the extra size. I have managed to squeeze much more parts on the buildplate than I realized i would be able to when I ordered.

Combine this printer with Anycubic resin, and the wash and cure station to launch your own startup business. I get between 1.2-1.8s layer times with all anycubic brand resins, none has been over 1.8s even translucent. Parts stick to the plate really well, and with the right support setups clean up is an absolute breeze.

Overall this is my number 1 recommendation for a budget entry mono printer, nothing else has compared for me at this point. The seller, WiJorlan is very good with customer support. Very fast getting back in touch, and my order arrived earlier then Amazons expected date. I will buy all future Anycubic products from this vendor.

Best Entry Level Monochrome 3D Printe

My printer arrived from China in less than three weeks, despite Amazon thinking it is still in transit. Other than a minor scuff on the yellow protective cover, it arrived in great shape! It was well packaged, easy to assemble, and straight forward to level the build plate. I lowered one star on the “For Beginners” category only because resin printers are more challenging than FDM printers to dial in good settings and get a quality first print. The monochrome screen should last much longer than a standard LCD screen. I have enjoyed all my Anycubic printers (I have an original Photon and a Chiron, also) and this seller was very attentive to my questions with quick responses.
