This product looks great and is super easy to use. No weighing food, no minutes and second countdown just two simple knobs one for cook time (or defrost) and one for timer in one min increments want it simple, buy this microwave!

Looks exactly as it does in the photo. Would have preferred if it had buttons to select seconds rather than just a rough ‘minutes dial’ i thought it was a dial that went up 10 seconds each slight turn but it works, I love it and it cooks my food so.. win lol.

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersAfter our microwave breaking I ordered this one, it came in good condition, packaged nicely and safely and since it’s arrival we’ve had no issues with it and it’s been working perfectly fine. It’s simple to use which is ideal as there isn’t a lot of complicated settings, buttons, etc. It’s not too loud either which is also great because the last microwave we had was incredibly loud so it’s quite a nice adjustment from the previous microwave. It spins fine, heats up fine, overall it is very satisfactory.

    Super simple to use.
Very light, so it does move when you open / close the door..which annoys me a little.
..and not very good if you want to cook something for only a few seconds.. as the dial does not show the time to cook.

otherwise ok, cheap and simple for old people to use.

Many moons ago Toshiba was the brand to go to for a Microwave purchase. They employed people like Jimmy Tarbuck to promote their quality products. In fact, I can remember my parents buying one from Dixons and the sales guy went over why you should buy a Toshiba compared with any other model. The problem in those days was that Toshiba was more expensive than most of its competitors, but it showed in its quality. Fast forward almost 45 years and I was not aware of this brand. We needed a second microwave and so jumped at the chance to try it.

There is no doubt that the quality is of Panasonic or Toshiba. For the price of this item, you cannot expect that. Twist dials and lots of plastic, rather than LED panels and metal. I do think the microwave we already had (Panasonic Inverter bought at Costco) is better in functionality and has the edge on quality but it cost 72.00 inc taxes. The Panasonic just feels better made, more solid, is heavier and cooks at 1000W, whereas this cooks at 700W. In fact, I would not buy a microwave of 700W. This is not to say this has poor build quality, it just does not seem to be quite as good as some others in this price range. The timer and power wheels are so easy to use. You turn an actual wheel to set. The Panasonic, on the other hand, is all touch-sensitive buttons and it is easier to get the time setting wrong. The problem is the pad puts the buttons too close together and is too sensitive. Get the finger in just the wrong place and you accidentally touch another button. There needs to be more spacing around the numbers. You can set the timer and start it at one second. This does not suffer from such flaws. The oven itself is easy to clean. It has a good capacity. It works just as it should. It is a good oven, it works well and is reasonably well made. I hate the 700W and so I knocked one star off for this.

If I was to buy another oven, my money would be on a Panasonic, I just think the one we have is simply the best. This is easier to operate.

This is a good basic microwave at the time of purchase this was around 50 which is a good Price for a microwave these days.

It is a good size at 20l this can hold a basic standard size plate, it has 5 different cooking levels so it depends on what your cooking , how long for and how quickly
You want things to be cooked I suppose. It really simple to use this microwave is definitely perfect for elderly people who want just a basic microwave that does what it says on the tin. I opted for it in white it is a nice crisp white looks clean and wipes over well.

I have used this a number of times now and it seems really good, it is cooking my food all the way through which is great some microwaves are just known for cooking the outside but not the middle I haven’t had this issue with this microwave, it also has a quick defrost setting which I haven’t used yet but this will be extremely handy, it comes with instructions but as I say it’s very easy to use!

Very good sturdy, durable microwave! Lovely crisp white colour with a good range of heating settings! Excellent value for money I am really happy with this item.

Bog standard basic microwave, power and time are adjusted using a dial which is fine until you need power for smaller denominations like 20 or 30 seconds. otherwise, it’s a lovely little microwave. for 60 it’s a great budget machine for someone just starting out on their own.

It has 5 power cooking levels, capacity of 20L, External dimensions: 44x34x25cm. Internal dimensions: 44×31.9×25.9cm.

Appearance – this microwave is very simple in design so it will blend in with any kitchen design.

Ease of use – the microwave is very easy to use because it’s a basic microwave. I used to have a digital microwave with multiple features and it was confusing and I never used the features. This one just has two dials and it’s obviously what they do.

Quality – the build quality of the microwave is good and it works as expected.

This microwave is supplied in a branded box along with a glass plate and instructions. This is a review of the grew microwave, but it is also available in black and white at the same cost. It is a small and basic microwave with manual controls which some may prefer.

The microwave is easy to use, with one dial to set the power level and the other to set time. This can be difficult when you only want it on for say 20 seconds to defrost bread as the time is calibrated in minutes and for this reason, I prefer a digital timer although they are usually a little more expensive.

There is a specific defrost feature with coordinating times in orange for different weights which is easy to use and useful. The microwave is only 700 watts, so it is not the most powerful but with its small size it cooks food well and quickly enough for most.

Priced at less than 60 this small capacity microwave is ideal for a small kitchen or flat where you just want to warm things up or cook ready meals. It is well made and is supplied with a 12-month limited warrantee.

For a few years now I have been using flat bed microwaves and I didn’t think I would return to the old turntable type but seriously it is definitely worth considering.

Flat bed microwaves tend to be more powerful and with the current energy prices they are becoming costly to run when one considers the annual costs. These turntable microwaves, although one can get 1kWh ones, are usually around 800w yet this one is only 700w.

As microwave ovens tend to be used more for reheating food and drinks than they are for cooking this 800w model can actually trim a little from the annual cost when compared to a 1kWh one. If it takes one minute to reheat a hot drink in a 1kWh model thensimply stick to that one minute. The drink may not be as hot but it will be hot enough and will save 30% of the cost through using 30% less energy.

When taking this microwave from it’s packaging be careful as the glass plate is on the polystyrene cover and when I removed the polystyrene the galss plate fell to the floor. Luckily it didn’t break.

I have used this for cooking eggs for breakfast and it makes a good scrampbled egg just as most microwaved do. The eggs were nice and light and fluffy as I like them to be. So far, apart from eggs, I have used this for reheating my coffees and reheating meals and it does do the job well enough. I still use my combi for steaming, grilling and baking but much of my microwaving is now done in this small microwave.

The internal cavity is quite small and the glass turntable almost touches the door but that’s not an issue as it’s the perform that interests me more.

To operate the machine one simply turns the top knob to the required position then turns the bottom knob for the timer. It may not be a digital one nor have all the bells and whistles of a digital one but it does exactly what it is designed to do so that is good enough for me. The top knob has a defrost, low energy, medium and high setting on the dial and the bottom has the time. With each of the settings the energy is increased so one can use only the amount of energy required thus once again saving against energy costs. It’s a common practice to just throw something in a microwave and nuke it on the highest power settings but that is not how to use such a machine. Some things are fine using the most energy but others not so. Take a cup of coffee as an example, when blitzing it the coffee loses a lot of it’s taste, it just doesn’t taste fresh no more but reducing the power and adding a little extra time and the coffee will retain that flavour.

Overall, this is a budget microwave that is plain and simple yet it of a reasonably good quality for a budget product. This microwave is being sold with many different brand names but it is the very same, the only difference being the price between the different names.

I am recommending this microwave as many are now trying to save on energy costs. There is no need to keep this plugged in, drawingpower, just to keep a digital clock displayed. It is well made to a reasonably good standard and it is good value.

    I didn't think I would return to....

Really nice microwave. It arrived quick and well packed as you can possibly tell from the photos. It works amazingly well. Very well designed. Easy to put together. It has 5 power cooking levels, capacity of 20L, you can easily fit large dishes up to 9 inches, suitable for most families. External dimensions: 44x34x25cm. Internal dimensions: 44×31.9×25.9cm. The simple design and simple colour make it easy to integrate this microwave in any design of any kitchen. I am very pleased with it. Definitely worth the money. I do have to mention that i tried to make some popcorn in it…it was a success…but the bag kept getting stuck and i realised that it’s too big for it to be able to spin…it wasn’t an issue…because the popcorn came out perfectly done…but i needed to mention in case someone would be bothered by that. I am gladly recommending this to anyone. Good value for the price.

    Really nice!

This microwave is fantastic and I’m ever so pleased with it because it’s so easy to use and it’s good quality. I like the size of it and that it is strong and sturdy. It’s durable and will last a long time too! I like that it’s easy for me to clean and it’s got a great capacity. It’s got a decent amount of settings and I like that it’s got the quick defrost setting, I’ve found this really helpful. It cooks my food really well and I’ve not had any issues with it at all. The timer is accurate and easy for me to use and for a budget microwave I’m impressed with it! It does the job and it does it well.

This is a small and basic microwave but works perfectly and does everything you need of a microwave. The microwave is easy to use, the instructions are quite basic, but it is fairly intuitive to use. I haven’t had a microwave for a long time but don’t remember having specific settings for warming butter or ice cream and I think this is a great feature. It is also useful that the defrost feature is in orange with coordinating times highlighted in orange for different weights. The microwave cooks the food well if you follow the instructions of the desired item. The microwave is a small capacity microwave so is perfect for a small kitchen and/or someone living on their own. Good value for money.

This is a simple, basic microwave oven that does what you would expect. Controls are basic but provide 95% of what you would want a microwave to do.overall having used the oven for normal and even the sunday dinner I am very pleased with the result.
It’s also a pleasant-looking machine. Very competitively priced

This is a basic manual microwave meaning that you set the time etc by using a dial instead of pressing a button.

The manual nature if this is reflected in the price which as it turns out is quite reasonable .

I say this because once you have got the hang of it – it produces nicely cooked meals ( mostly ready means in my case which I have for lunch).

Coming in white or compliments the rest of my kitchen ( yes my ‘white goods’ are in fact ‘white’!)

Recommended if you are on a budget or not hung up on digital displays.

A decent microwave at an affordable price.

Quite a small cabinet so if you’re short of space it’s a good option.

Nice looking and sleek with a black shiny front which looks good in my utility.

I have tried it out for my breakfast porridge and it works exactly as expected.

It is only a 700W so takes a bit longer than my old more powerful microwave.

5 power settings to select from depending on what you are cooking, from the first function to soften ice cream at 17% of power up to the top setting of full power for reheating, boiling, milk and cooking vegetables.

My only issue is with this type of timer as you can’t get an accurate time setting it’s a bit of guesswork, but if you’re only heating things up and don’t need precise timings it is ok.

A good little microwave I would recommend.

Does the job at an affordable price

A good microwave overall: the two dials allow you to easily set up the heating method you want, from low power, defrost, and mid to high power. The time dial is easy to use and displays either the minutes or the weight of the item you want to defrost.
There’s a lot of space (20L), but don’t expect to be able to prepare huge bags of popcorn, for that, you’d need a 28L+
Overall the items works and I’m really satisfied with it.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersIf, like me, you just need a microwave oven that will makes things hot quickly with the minimum of fuss, then this is the oven for you. It has refreshingly minimal controls – just a timer and power dials – and no annoying LED that keeps blinking the wrong time at you because family members like to turn it off at night so it constantly needs resetting. It does the job its designed to do – why pay more for functionality you will probably never use? Recommended.
