Amazing quality camera, battery lasts 3 weeks. So glad I got this camera as 2 days after setting it up people was checking door handles at nighttime. Very happy.
Nothing to dislike, but very sensitive to living on a main road lots of traffic even on lowest settings. Hence the lower star rating not bad just sensitive.

We have a Ring Doorbell on the front door and purchased this for the back door. I’d say that it’s as good as the Ring with the added advantage of not having to pay for a subscription.

After some initial hiccups (took 3 attempts to connect to network, 3rd time was the charm). It works quite well indeed! For the very first time I didn’t need to be perched by my door to see when my parcel arrived. I was in another room when I got the alert and saw the driver rock up to my front door.
At some point a WiFi Booster will be required because the device frequently drops connection. But when it’s running I gotta say hat’s off. It is literally like having 24hr CCTV! Oh and it’s a doorbell too.
I highly recommend because its spectacularly great value for money compared to the brand we all know. I mean who doesn’t like to save money right? Well I do, but ONLY with a viable alternative and this moment certainly is. Yes this is THE cheaper alternative to the R word and it works great. No images can be presented due to GDPR.
I like the look of this bell, it’s rather chunky but feels well built. The camera quality is decent and the app works fairly well. My only issue is that I’m am not receiving push notifications to my phone, which is one of the main reasons for this bell. I can watch live time and historic footage, but it doesn’t alert me on my phone when someone rings the bell. I have tried various settings and cannot resolve this issue.
The doorbell was easy to install and configure except for connecting the Chime. We saw other buyers had the same problem. I tried for days to make the Chime connect without any success. I uninstalled it and reset the Doorbell many many times over many days, but it would not connect to the Chime. I then Hard Wired the Doorbell using a 12v DC power supply from an old CCTV camera. When I powered up to the Doorbell I then repeated the Chime connection procedure and the Chime connected and played the chosen music. I have since switched off the 12v power supply and moved the Chime to another more convenient Mains Power Socket and found it continued to Function.
An additional benefit of Hard Wiring it was that it charged the Batteries which I left in the Doorbell. Once the batteries were 100% charged I switched off the 12V DC supply. The Bell is now running on the Batteries and working perfectly..
For the price it’s a good runner, ( certainly as good as if not better than some of the well known doorbell brands ) can be a little slow on the PIR detection and intermittent but all round it’s a good doorbell as this could be the Wi-Fi signal. Seems it is set on its default with regards to area management and notifying you ( as these don’t seem to change even if you change the settings and sensitivity) but does capture most required movements, )
Day photo quality is good -Night time, not so good but still does well, and hey look at the price! Has a good chime ( small usb speaker – that you need a plug for, & you can purchase multiple chimes) That rings once pressed /and takes a photo & let’s you know who’s there, sends a 5 second delay ring to your phone and you can answer remotely. You can get it to record by manually pressing the video button if you need it to record for a period of time. NB Need to buy the plug for the chime separately & power supply if you want it hardwired / to save having to keep recharging the batteries by removing. Has separate online storage via cloudot app keeping your notifications on your account.
Generally a very good purchase I’m pleased with it for what it cost and I’m not easy to please !

Bought this doorbell as I dropped my ring doorbell and broke it, I wasn’t expecting the same quality as this one is so much cheaper and a brand I’d never heard of. However, all the features on this seem to be far better than that of the ring doorbell, the picture is perfect, night vision amazing and the motion, although a slight delay, is much quicker than my previous bell. Would definitely recommend this product!
After reading reviews of various video doorbells this one seemed to be the best for my needs, without the big price tag on other big branded versions.
It arrived next day and i Got straight on to unboxing it. The quality stuck out straight away. Well packaged, with absolutely everything I needed to install and to make sure it stayed secure in case anyone tried to tamper with it.
The video quality, at 2K, is fantastic and really easy to set it up via the app.
Sue to my front door I’ve tweeted the settings so it won’t go off when someone walks past the end of the drive, but if they walk up the drive it alerts me.
Really impressed overall with this doorbell, much better quality than I expected.

Bought this as a replacement to my broken one, to my surprise build quality looks better, and human detection prevents false alerts. Software had improved, free cloud storage, and fantastic as a security camera.
If not home you can talk to the person that rang the doorbell via app on your mobile phone. No need to pay twice as much for a branded doorbell when this does just as well!
This was a godsend for us while we were in holiday offering peace of mind. It’s really easy to set up and install using the phone app and Wi-Fi. We were able to attach to our door frame with the stickers, which was quick and easy and it’s held up fine for the last couple of weeks. The picture quality is good. We get notifications whenever there is activity at her door and can watch the live feed. It’s quite sensitive, picking up tractors going by etc but the picture is great and we’re really happy with the purchase.
Seems to have put an end to my intruder problem. First one so good I bought a second. Brilliantly clear pictures and videos. No more missed parcels at the door and security for the back gate. Total peace of mind. Easy to set up, even for a technophobe like me. Battery life very good. Would definitely recommend to anyone.
The doorbell and chime arrived quickly after purchasing. Super easy to install including downloading the app and registering the device/pairing. What I really like about this device is that the battery life is great, I’m 1 week in and it’s still on 89%, unlike my previous device I had to charge every three days. I like that I can alter the motion settings from high, medium, low. I can see what’s going on when I’m not home and that it stores it’s data for 7 days. FREE to your iCloud. You can screen shot and also zoom in on the camera. I would recommend this device.
Having owned a previous model made by the same company, I knew the VU would be of good quality but I was blown away by just how much better it is overall. The camera quality is miles better than my previous video doorbell along with superior sound quality. The motion detection is something my old camera didn’t have and is really handy for those times that people enter the garden but don’t use the bell, this option has quite a few levels of adjustment to suit most environments. Overall, I’m really pleased and definitely consider this as a true contender for the ring doorbell for sure.

I have tried many due to being a victim of domestic abuse and none come close to this. This captures images both on a small SD card (and iCloud storage if you so wish) for no charge which allows you to replace the SD card if you need to pass on the footage without having to give or share your device with others. Picture and sound quality is amazing. No missed calls when out.
Excellent doorbell, relatively cheap compared to others plus….
1. No need for expensive cloud storage, the inbuild Micro SD card holds a LOT of data
2. The camera, ring & motion sensing can be shared with other family members
3. The picture quality is excellent 1080p HD, even at night.
4. It can easily be hardwired as I have done, no need to recharge ever!
5. You can have it streaming live footage all day if you want (see photo from live stream)
6. Motion sensing is nicely adjustable.
Only negative I can think of? It should have a metal wall bracket for security, plastic is too easy to break.
Of course most of these doorbells are the same, so it’s not just an issue with this design.

I purchased this doorbell because I liked the ability to play a pre recorded message to visitors. Unfortunately I often miss the notifications on my phone because I have to have my phone on silent at work, and I haven’t found a way to get the doorbell to override the silent mode. It would be better if you could set the pre recorded message to play automatically when somebody rings the bell. The picture is clear and night vision is good. I do think the app could be easier to use. All in all its worth the money but has room for improvement.
Have owned this 6months now so used it plenty enough to be able to write an accurate review. It’s easy to install and the fixing that come with it are fine for the job- I’m not a DIYer but managed with no issues. The App is easy to use once set up and recent upgrade is even better -you can save specific images or clips We use ours more as a camera for the back of house than a bell – picture quality is spot on and night vision amazingly good. A chime was included but we’ve not used it. Looks discrete but smart enough tho. Fantastic value!

I’m very happy with this product, as it was straight forward to set up and install. After I had downloaded the app, set up the account and added the doorbell/camera, all my partner had to do was get the app herself and sign up too. I then shared the connection with her, and now we both have access to it, wherever we are.
It’s compact, the motion detection is great, and the night vision is very clear.
I love the fact that you can turn the motion detection off and on, and even alter the sensitivity, so that your phone isn’t pinging constantly.
The battery life is really good, and rechargable. Also we love the chime which we’ve plugged into the wall in our kitchen. Now, when someone rings the bell, not only does the chime sound off, but we both get a notification on our phones. We can take a photo or video clip at will, and also use the intercom even when we’re not at home.
The lense is a fish eye lense, so it really covers the whole front of the house.
Definitelty go for this product, as it’s a really good price for what you get. My partner’s mother and our next door neighbour both want one now.
At present I have nothing negative to say about the video doorbell . My daughter helped set it up as I’m not tech savvy , however I did find the instructions quite straightforward
I have the app on my phone and iPad and I’ve recorded 3 messages which make life so simple if I do not wish to converse with anyone at my door.. 1 message for parcels /postage 2 for any utility personnel 3 for general callers . You can edit and change your recording at anytime .
As my front door is at the side of the house I’m fortunate to not have a busy footfall /cars setting off the motion , yet the fact my door is not in full view the camera grants me the feeling of security if anyone was to be lurking near the door day or night
The camera and intercom are clear and precise and I can wake up and see if anyone has been near my door making me feel quite safe in my own environment.
My daughter has a more expensive and popular ring door bell , and she is really impressed with mine at a fraction of the price .

UPDATE: I have never come back to a review but I’m so impressed with my video doorbell that I had to update. I can only reiterate how good a product this is for the price . I read one critical view that it took some time for the bell to connect with phone , this I would dispute . As I can hear my gate when it’s opened I often turn the screen on and I have no lapse with the doorbell sound and about a second or two for my phone. I can’t remember the last time I opened my door as the intercom is clear and precise both ways and picture quality very good. It may not be a certain well known model , but according to my daughter who does have a certain expensive bell, she would have purchased this one if she had seen the product in action before hand . Also had no trouble speaking to a caller when I was over 20 miles away -perfec
Generally a really good door bell but the chime does not work with it although I followed the instructions. I will email the support and hopefully all will be fixed and other great door bell.
This doorbell works very well. The quality of the build is very good, it feels very sturdy and rugged. The battery life has been good so far, it lasts a long time, then you simply remove the security bolt and charge via the USB, takes less then a minute to remove it. The video quality is definitely a big selling point it is excellent both in the daytime and at night, the field of view is wide and it’s handy to be able to just log into the app and view your driveway at your own convenience. The app itself is simple and lets you view motion captured events through a very simple and well thought out interface. The door bell has come in handy for parcels being delivered, we live in a four story house so it can be quite a trek to reach the front door on time for deliveries, but the two way intercom has be great to talk to delivery drivers e.g. “Thanks I’ll be down in a minute just leave it on the door step”.
I’ve compared this door bell to my neighbours Ring doorbell and this does pretty much the same job without having to pay for an expensive monthly subscription. The fact that the video events are saved into the doorbells internal memory is a big bonus. So I can’t really find anything not to like, it does the job well and I’m sure it will get better over time as they improve the software. 5 Stars for this one.

This doorbell hasn’t disappointed, it’s very easy to set up and add users so all members of the family can see who’s at the door, or if they just wish to see what is going on outside. I struggle with getting to the door and this has been a lifesaver! The picture quality is very good, and the sound quality isn’t too bad either. If you’re after longer battery life it’s probably best that you hardwire it, but I don’t mind plugging in a charger now and then. For its price point, this camera is good value for money and I would purchase another without question.
Quick update, it’s been connected for 10 days and has been put through its paces. The battery indicator hasn’t moved so it should last as long as the company says before it needs recharging, though it obviously depends on how much you use it, but so far so good.
Hassel free installation, no long wires and drilling required. Easy installation of app on iPhone. Clear vision, censor works perfectly, night vision is bit blur, but so far its doing the job for I which I bought it. Will recommend to those who want to keep their car and driveways safe.
It took me ages looking at many of the products available before I chose this one which has all the features I wanted. In particular, I needed a mounting bracket to change the angle of view in the porch otherwise half of the picture would have been the wall on the left! A bracket is available separately for this product. The whole set up process was very clear and achieved in a matter of minutes – no problem adding my wife’s phone as well. The picture is clear and the motion sensor, intercom and doorbell all work very well. Happy customer.

Range on the chime is really good too as we set it up in a Garden building a good 20 metres away and it still worked.

Living in a 2nd floor flat that is on a main road and being a disabled guy that is mainly bed bound, I was sick of missing deliveries because of my disabilities. This has stopped me worrying that I will miss another delivery of meds etc.
Extremely easy to install and it has some amazing features. App easy to configures and guides you through the whole install process. It comes with everything you need.
Great features like night mode(infrared). 32gb of built in storage (extra cloud storage if needed). Motion detection but with being on a main road I have turned this feature off in the app so that I don’t get alerted all the time, there are 3 sensitivity options for the motion detection setting if needed. Picture quality is great as well.

Bought this as I wanted to increase smart functionality in my home. I’m not bought by the hyperbole of mainstream popular brands when it comes to electronics so thought ill look for an alternative. With the discount coupon applied this seemed worth a punt at 65 compared to say 180! of another popular brand.
Quality: Well packaged and presented. All the tools and cables included with very clear instructions to boot.
The doorbell iis made well enough , seems to be robust and worthy of its IP65 rating.
Setup: Connecting the unit to your Wi-Fi, pairing the unit to the app with my phone was so easy and took less than 10 minutes. This gives you plenty of time to run tests and play around with the unit before installation.
Installation: Very easy to do . Drill a couple of holes in the wall , bang n the rawl plugs and affix the unit . I did find the supplied screws seemed to small and frail . I fear the doorbell could easily be pulled off so I used some 1 inch stainless steel countersunk screws and my own rawl plugs for good measure. This meant I had further open the countersunk holes in the backing mount, but easy to do with care and a good quality countersunk bit.
My only criticism is the security screw hole is too close to the edge. Be very careful when driving it fully home.
Usage: I have an open front garden with a public footbath about 5 metres away. I found the motion detection even on low would pick up passers by. Personally for me the motion detection is a night time security feature so I switch it on in tandem with the house alarm at night.
The doorbell has an expected 2 second delay before the doorbell connects to your phone and sounds the chime. The audio and video are satisfactorily clear and in HD mode the video is very clear. The settings the app provides are very good and you edit various settings to fine tune the unit. The inbuilt memory card is great! No need to pay for cloud memory, a feature that seems to be absent on a lot of these presumably to give the cloud edge app makers a steady income.
On a final note the chime design is novel, not a plug chime but usb connection. I like having this in my PC while gaming so I never miss the door. That being said my phone wll ring anywhere but good to have a backup.

I initially had a small issue with the camera and amazon offered to resolve this straight away with a full refund. As i had bought the angle bracket and already drilled my outside wall i declined the offer of a refund and contacted the seller with my issue. The seller straight away sent me out a new unit. So to both amazon and the seller 10 out of 10 for the service.
Now the camera itself is brilliant. i do have an issue when at work as i get the visitor call well after my visitor has been. but this is because the wifi is pretty poor. when in in a good area the notifications come through within a second.
I’m not tech savvy but setting up was simple and i had it working within minutes The fact that it gives my home extra protection and i always know who is at my door i think it is great. My daughter has another make . which she paid almost twice the price of this one and it doesn’t match mine i would recommend this to anyone thinking of getting one.
It is a terrific product to have at home as I am notified if there is anyone in my front garden. I am also people to communicate with the with people at the door if I am not home. The picture quality and night vision are also very good. The motion sensor works really well too. I would recommend this product to others.

I think you get a sense of an item’s quality in the first minute when you open the box. I had bought the item based on strong reviews, but I didn’t know the brand, it was Chinese made and was not very expensive, so I was pleasantly surprised when I opened the box. The packaging is good, the video doorbell was both sturdy and pleasing to look at, and the instructions were very well written and easy to follow. The item comes with all the bits you need for fitting. I’m not very tech savvy and saw there were quite a few steps to get this set up and running, but I managed to this with with no issues by following the step by step guide. The app works well, my doorbell has been up for a day and I am very happy with my purchase.
We wanted to replace our standard chime door bell with one that added a little more security when not in the house. Out of the box, everything looked in good order. The bell itself felt quite robust and not flimsy. I would recommend charging the powerpack over night so you get the best possible charge before fitting into place. Whilst in the charging mode I connected the bell to my wifi, which picked the bell up immediately. Just follow the on screen instructions. It took me a few goes to link the chimer to the bell, but this was because I tried to reset the chimer whilst it was plugged in. Press the reset button once on the back of the chimer before attaching to the plug. Worked fine after this.
Next day, once the bell was fully charged, I fitted the backing plate to the outside wall. Setting the motion sensor was quick and easy and after a bit of walking up and down the drive (standard car size double drive) I settle on the max (5) sensitivity. It seemed to work fine, but it did pick up the postman walking past so reset to 4. Tested the bell and it works fine on my wife’s phone (samsung), but on my iphone there’s a little more delay. But on the whole and for the price i am very happy with my purchase. Also managed to set the quick answer recordings. Finally, the picture quality is spot on and the range of view cover all my drive and slightly overlaps next door’s drive.
The app is great to see live view, record, or speak to anyone that rings the doorbell. Looks really good and the picture quality is amazing. Also got a gift with my purchase and paid less money than expected. The 32gb preinstalled card is just another bonus among so many. Definitely recommend it.
I purchased this doorbell after trying another similar model from another supplier. This doorbell outperformed the other one in many ways. It is easy to set up and very easy to use. I have had the unit fitted for about 10 days now and battery is still going strong. Very pleased I chose this unit I would definitely recommend this.
We had already had doorbell on front door which was wire wired. Decided to have for side door as well however for this one we choose wireless to avoid paying extra for installation for local cameraman.
Arrived in nice presentable package, in package it had main unit, chime , batteries and memory card.
It used powerful longer batteries which last quite long time once fully charged.
Installation very easy, straight forward, step by step guide included. Once application installed and connected to wifi it’s very easy to use. On connection to wifi make sure to use 2.4ghz connection and 5ghz not supported.
Picture quality quite nice when not directly agains the sunlight on early mornings.
Overall consider it came with batteries, chime and memory card it’s quite nice package.
The doorbell is very easy to set up as the instructions are very clear. I do wonder why the chime does not have a built in charger plug. In fact not a lot of information about charging is given. How do I know when the chime the doorbell is fully charged? I cannot find any information about either. The picture is first class.althoug . I have now checked the night vision and it’s brilliant. Great picture quality both day and night. I now understand that the chime must be plugged in at all times. Problem is, this has been working fine since April 21, but now completely dead. I cannot connect to my new WIFi and it will now not charge up. I have contacted seller three times but no answer. I guess you get what you pay for. Not very happy at the moment.
I wanted to get one of these Video Smart Doorbell for my elderly mum’s house, as she is unsteady on her feet, and takes a while to get up and open the front door. She often then found that either it was a unwanted sales person, or someone that rang the bell and didn’t wait for her to get to the door.
A video doorbell is the answer I thought; and this easy to set up wireless device is perfect. I say easy to set up as it doesn’t need to be wired up, it just works off a rechargeable battery. I did need to set up the app on her tablet computer ‘CloudEdge’ which is available on either a phone or a tablet. Then the camera part and the chime are both USB charged, so before fitting I made sure they were both fully charged, ready to install.
All the installation tools are provided in the pack, including small screwdriver, screws/rawl plugs, and an Allen key, plus the USB cable for charging. My partner had it installed on the front door in minutes; so ready to test. By pressing the door chime, we are connecting/pairing the device to her tablet; the camera now picks up the image and she can communicate without leaving her chair.
I believe pre-recorded messages can be installed, maybe instructions for a delivery driver, but we don’t need that here; also a micro SD card can be installed to capture images, again not necessary, as my mum rarely leaves the house. However all these extras would be useful for others.
Before leaving we tested out the doorbell several times, the door chime is easily heard; perfectly clear images and audio are coming through, activated by the motion sensor. The batteries will need recharging from time to time, but as it is only going to be used occasionally, I don’t think it is something we need to worry about for a while.
This is a fabulous piece of kit, well made, sturdy and waterproof; and is really helping my mum who can speak to anyone at the door from the comfort of her armchair.

Best door bell I have found, I have used a few others and none been as good the motion detection brilliant always get a notification to my phone if someone or something approaching my door… definitely recommend buying
After some initial hiccups (took 3 attempts to connect to network, 3rd time was the charm). It works quite well indeed! For the very first time I didn’t need to be perched by my door to see when my parcel arrived. I was in another room when I got the alert and saw the driver rock up to my front door.
At some point a WiFi Booster will be required because the device frequently drops connection. But when it’s running I gotta say hat’s off. It is literally like having 24hr CCTV! Oh and it’s a doorbell too.
I highly recommend because its spectacularly great value for money compared to the brand we all know. I mean who doesn’t like to save money right? Well I do, but ONLY with a viable alternative and this moment certainly is. Yes this is THE cheaper alternative to the R word and it works great. No images can be presented due to GDPR.
I like the look of this bell, it’s rather chunky but feels well built. The camera quality is decent and the app works fairly well. My only issue is that I’m am not receiving push notifications to my phone, which is one of the main reasons for this bell. I can watch live time and historic footage, but it doesn’t alert me on my phone when someone rings the bell. I have tried various settings and cannot resolve this issue.

The doorbell was easy to install and configure except for connecting the Chime. We saw other buyers had the same problem. I tried for days to make the Chime connect without any success. I uninstalled it and reset the Doorbell many many times over many days, but it would not connect to the Chime. I then Hard Wired the Doorbell using a 12v DC power supply from an old CCTV camera. When I powered up to the Doorbell I then repeated the Chime connection procedure and the Chime connected and played the chosen music. I have since switched off the 12v power supply and moved the Chime to another more convenient Mains Power Socket and found it continued to Function.
An additional benefit of Hard Wiring it was that it charged the Batteries which I left in the Doorbell. Once the batteries were 100% charged I switched off the 12V DC supply. The Bell is now running on the Batteries and working perfectly..
For the price it’s a good runner, ( certainly as good as if not better than some of the well known doorbell brands ) can be a little slow on the PIR detection and intermittent but all round it’s a good doorbell as this could be the Wi-Fi signal. Seems it is set on its default with regards to area management and notifying you ( as these don’t seem to change even if you change the settings and sensitivity) but does capture most required movements, )
Day photo quality is good -Night time, not so good but still does well, and hey look at the price! Has a good chime ( small usb speaker – that you need a plug for, & you can purchase multiple chimes) That rings once pressed /and takes a photo & let’s you know who’s there, sends a 5 second delay ring to your phone and you can answer remotely. You can get it to record by manually pressing the video button if you need it to record for a period of time. NB Need to buy the plug for the chime separately & power supply if you want it hardwired / to save having to keep recharging the batteries by removing. Has separate online storage via cloudot app keeping your notifications on your account.
Generally a very good purchase I’m pleased with it for what it cost and I’m not easy to please !

Bought this doorbell as I dropped my ring doorbell and broke it, I wasn’t expecting the same quality as this one is so much cheaper and a brand I’d never heard of. However, all the features on this seem to be far better than that of the ring doorbell, the picture is perfect, night vision amazing and the motion, although a slight delay, is much quicker than my previous bell. Would definitely recommend this product!
After reading reviews of various video doorbells this one seemed to be the best for my needs, without the big price tag on other big branded versions.
It arrived next day and i Got straight on to unboxing it. The quality stuck out straight away. Well packaged, with absolutely everything I needed to install and to make sure it stayed secure in case anyone tried to tamper with it.
The video quality, at 2K, is fantastic and really easy to set it up via the app.
Sue to my front door I’ve tweeted the settings so it won’t go off when someone walks past the end of the drive, but if they walk up the drive it alerts me.
Really impressed overall with this doorbell, much better quality than I expected.
May consider one for my back gate.
Bought this as a replacement to my broken one, to my surprise build quality looks better, and human detection prevents false alerts. Software had improved, free cloud storage, and fantastic as a security camera.
If not home you can talk to the person that rang the doorbell via app on your mobile phone. No need to pay twice as much for a branded doorbell when this does just as well!
This was a godsend for us while we were in holiday offering peace of mind. It’s really easy to set up and install using the phone app and Wi-Fi. We were able to attach to our door frame with the stickers, which was quick and easy and it’s held up fine for the last couple of weeks. The picture quality is good. We get notifications whenever there is activity at her door and can watch the live feed. It’s quite sensitive, picking up tractors going by etc but the picture is great and we’re really happy with the purchase.
Seems to have put an end to my intruder problem. First one so good I bought a second. Brilliantly clear pictures and videos. No more missed parcels at the door and security for the back gate. Total peace of mind. Easy to set up, even for a technophobe like me. Battery life very good. Would definitely recommend to anyone.
Having owned a previous model made by the same company, I knew the VU would be of good quality but I was blown away by just how much better it is overall. The camera quality is miles better than my previous video doorbell along with superior sound quality. The motion detection is something my old camera didn’t have and is really handy for those times that people enter the garden but don’t use the bell, this option has quite a few levels of adjustment to suit most environments. Overall, I’m really pleased and definitely consider this as a true contender for the ring doorbell for sure.
This is an affordable smart doorbell that delivers sharp HD video with a wide viewing angle and a good voice control.

I have tried many due to being a victim of domestic abuse and none come close to this. This captures images both on a small SD card (and iCloud storage if you so wish) for no charge which allows you to replace the SD card if you need to pass on the footage without having to give or share your device with others. Picture and sound quality is amazing. No missed calls when out.

Excellent doorbell, relatively cheap compared to others plus….
1. No need for expensive cloud storage, the inbuild Micro SD card holds a LOT of data
2. The camera, ring & motion sensing can be shared with other family members
3. The picture quality is excellent 1080p HD, even at night.
4. It can easily be hardwired as I have done, no need to recharge ever!
5. You can have it streaming live footage all day if you want (see photo from live stream)
6. Motion sensing is nicely adjustable.
Only negative I can think of? It should have a metal wall bracket for security, plastic is too easy to break.
Of course most of these doorbells are the same, so it’s not just an issue with this design.

I purchased this doorbell because I liked the ability to play a pre recorded message to visitors. Unfortunately I often miss the notifications on my phone because I have to have my phone on silent at work, and I haven’t found a way to get the doorbell to override the silent mode. It would be better if you could set the pre recorded message to play automatically when somebody rings the bell. The picture is clear and night vision is good. I do think the app could be easier to use. All in all its worth the money but has room for improvement.
Have owned this 6months now so used it plenty enough to be able to write an accurate review. It’s easy to install and the fixing that come with it are fine for the job- I’m not a DIYer but managed with no issues. The App is easy to use once set up and recent upgrade is even better -you can save specific images or clips We use ours more as a camera for the back of house than a bell – picture quality is spot on and night vision amazingly good. A chime was included but we’ve not used it. Looks discrete but smart enough tho. Fantastic value!
Fairly easy to set up, works well at taking videos and pictures and motion detection is good. Picture and video quality could be better. Would still recommend.

I’m very happy with this product, as it was straight forward to set up and install. After I had downloaded the app, set up the account and added the doorbell/camera, all my partner had to do was get the app herself and sign up too. I then shared the connection with her, and now we both have access to it, wherever we are.
It’s compact, the motion detection is great, and the night vision is very clear.
I love the fact that you can turn the motion detection off and on, and even alter the sensitivity, so that your phone isn’t pinging constantly.
The battery life is really good, and rechargable. Also we love the chime which we’ve plugged into the wall in our kitchen. Now, when someone rings the bell, not only does the chime sound off, but we both get a notification on our phones. We can take a photo or video clip at will, and also use the intercom even when we’re not at home.
The lense is a fish eye lense, so it really covers the whole front of the house.
Definitelty go for this product, as it’s a really good price for what you get. My partner’s mother and our next door neighbour both want one now.
At present I have nothing negative to say about the video doorbell . My daughter helped set it up as I’m not tech savvy , however I did find the instructions quite straightforward
I have the app on my phone and iPad and I’ve recorded 3 messages which make life so simple if I do not wish to converse with anyone at my door.. 1 message for parcels /postage 2 for any utility personnel 3 for general callers . You can edit and change your recording at anytime .
As my front door is at the side of the house I’m fortunate to not have a busy footfall /cars setting off the motion , yet the fact my door is not in full view the camera grants me the feeling of security if anyone was to be lurking near the door day or night
The camera and intercom are clear and precise and I can wake up and see if anyone has been near my door making me feel quite safe in my own environment.
My daughter has a more expensive and popular ring door bell , and she is really impressed with mine at a fraction of the price .

UPDATE: I have never come back to a review but I’m so impressed with my video doorbell that I had to update. I can only reiterate how good a product this is for the price . I read one critical view that it took some time for the bell to connect with phone , this I would dispute . As I can hear my gate when it’s opened I often turn the screen on and I have no lapse with the doorbell sound and about a second or two for my phone. I can’t remember the last time I opened my door as the intercom is clear and precise both ways and picture quality very good. It may not be a certain well known model , but according to my daughter who does have a certain expensive bell, she would have purchased this one if she had seen the product in action before hand . Also had no trouble speaking to a caller when I was over 20 miles away -perfec
Generally a really good door bell but the chime does not work with it although I followed the instructions. I will email the support and hopefully all will be fixed and other great door bell.
This doorbell works very well. The quality of the build is very good, it feels very sturdy and rugged. The battery life has been good so far, it lasts a long time, then you simply remove the security bolt and charge via the USB, takes less then a minute to remove it. The video quality is definitely a big selling point it is excellent both in the daytime and at night, the field of view is wide and it’s handy to be able to just log into the app and view your driveway at your own convenience. The app itself is simple and lets you view motion captured events through a very simple and well thought out interface. The door bell has come in handy for parcels being delivered, we live in a four story house so it can be quite a trek to reach the front door on time for deliveries, but the two way intercom has be great to talk to delivery drivers e.g. “Thanks I’ll be down in a minute just leave it on the door step”.
I’ve compared this door bell to my neighbours Ring doorbell and this does pretty much the same job without having to pay for an expensive monthly subscription. The fact that the video events are saved into the doorbells internal memory is a big bonus. So I can’t really find anything not to like, it does the job well and I’m sure it will get better over time as they improve the software. 5 Stars for this one.

This doorbell hasn’t disappointed, it’s very easy to set up and add users so all members of the family can see who’s at the door, or if they just wish to see what is going on outside. I struggle with getting to the door and this has been a lifesaver! The picture quality is very good, and the sound quality isn’t too bad either. If you’re after longer battery life it’s probably best that you hardwire it, but I don’t mind plugging in a charger now and then. For its price point, this camera is good value for money and I would purchase another without question.
Quick update, it’s been connected for 10 days and has been put through its paces. The battery indicator hasn’t moved so it should last as long as the company says before it needs recharging, though it obviously depends on how much you use it, but so far so good.
Hassel free installation, no long wires and drilling required. Easy installation of app on iPhone. Clear vision, censor works perfectly, night vision is bit blur, but so far its doing the job for I which I bought it. Will recommend to those who want to keep their car and driveways safe.
It took me ages looking at many of the products available before I chose this one which has all the features I wanted. In particular, I needed a mounting bracket to change the angle of view in the porch otherwise half of the picture would have been the wall on the left! A bracket is available separately for this product. The whole set up process was very clear and achieved in a matter of minutes – no problem adding my wife’s phone as well. The picture is clear and the motion sensor, intercom and doorbell all work very well. Happy customer.
Bought this and very happy with the purchase. Easy to set up, looks good and camera really good covering a wide view of my front Garden and driveway.
Range on the chime is really good too as we set it up in a Garden building a good 20 metres away and it still worked.
I was looking for a wireless doorbell with a camera and notification. This met all the requirement. It was delivered two days in advance and I have been using it for a few days now and am very happy with the product. Very easy to setup, cost effective and does all as expected.

Very impressive piece of kit. I took a chance in getting this as couldn’t afford the market leader in WiFi doorbells. So glad I took the gamble.
Living in a 2nd floor flat that is on a main road and being a disabled guy that is mainly bed bound, I was sick of missing deliveries because of my disabilities. This has stopped me worrying that I will miss another delivery of meds etc.
Extremely easy to install and it has some amazing features. App easy to configures and guides you through the whole install process. It comes with everything you need.
Great features like night mode(infrared). 32gb of built in storage (extra cloud storage if needed). Motion detection but with being on a main road I have turned this feature off in the app so that I don’t get alerted all the time, there are 3 sensitivity options for the motion detection setting if needed. Picture quality is great as well.

Bought this as I wanted to increase smart functionality in my home. I’m not bought by the hyperbole of mainstream popular brands when it comes to electronics so thought ill look for an alternative. With the discount coupon applied this seemed worth a punt at 65 compared to say 180! of another popular brand.
Quality: Well packaged and presented. All the tools and cables included with very clear instructions to boot.
The doorbell iis made well enough , seems to be robust and worthy of its IP65 rating.
Setup: Connecting the unit to your Wi-Fi, pairing the unit to the app with my phone was so easy and took less than 10 minutes. This gives you plenty of time to run tests and play around with the unit before installation.
Installation: Very easy to do . Drill a couple of holes in the wall , bang n the rawl plugs and affix the unit . I did find the supplied screws seemed to small and frail . I fear the doorbell could easily be pulled off so I used some 1 inch stainless steel countersunk screws and my own rawl plugs for good measure. This meant I had further open the countersunk holes in the backing mount, but easy to do with care and a good quality countersunk bit.
My only criticism is the security screw hole is too close to the edge. Be very careful when driving it fully home.
Usage: I have an open front garden with a public footbath about 5 metres away. I found the motion detection even on low would pick up passers by. Personally for me the motion detection is a night time security feature so I switch it on in tandem with the house alarm at night.
The doorbell has an expected 2 second delay before the doorbell connects to your phone and sounds the chime. The audio and video are satisfactorily clear and in HD mode the video is very clear. The settings the app provides are very good and you edit various settings to fine tune the unit. The inbuilt memory card is great! No need to pay for cloud memory, a feature that seems to be absent on a lot of these presumably to give the cloud edge app makers a steady income.
On a final note the chime design is novel, not a plug chime but usb connection. I like having this in my PC while gaming so I never miss the door. That being said my phone wll ring anywhere but good to have a backup.
First off all i don’t write a lot of reviews but i think this one deserves my time due to the fact its a brilliant product and the service is second to none
I initially had a small issue with the camera and amazon offered to resolve this straight away with a full refund. As i had bought the angle bracket and already drilled my outside wall i declined the offer of a refund and contacted the seller with my issue. The seller straight away sent me out a new unit. So to both amazon and the seller 10 out of 10 for the service.
Now the camera itself is brilliant. i do have an issue when at work as i get the visitor call well after my visitor has been. but this is because the wifi is pretty poor. when in in a good area the notifications come through within a second.
I’m not tech savvy but setting up was simple and i had it working within minutes The fact that it gives my home extra protection and i always know who is at my door i think it is great. My daughter has another make . which she paid almost twice the price of this one and it doesn’t match mine i would recommend this to anyone thinking of getting one.
It is a terrific product to have at home as I am notified if there is anyone in my front garden. I am also people to communicate with the with people at the door if I am not home. The picture quality and night vision are also very good. The motion sensor works really well too. I would recommend this product to others.
Just moved in to our new home and decided to buy a video doorbell first time. Looked in to it and found so many options on the internet. Kemap absolutely beat all of them. Both the price and the quality are top class. Delivery was only 2 days and the installation can’t be easier. Highly recommended.
I think you get a sense of an item’s quality in the first minute when you open the box. I had bought the item based on strong reviews, but I didn’t know the brand, it was Chinese made and was not very expensive, so I was pleasantly surprised when I opened the box. The packaging is good, the video doorbell was both sturdy and pleasing to look at, and the instructions were very well written and easy to follow. The item comes with all the bits you need for fitting. I’m not very tech savvy and saw there were quite a few steps to get this set up and running, but I managed to this with with no issues by following the step by step guide. The app works well, my doorbell has been up for a day and I am very happy with my purchase.
Next day, once the bell was fully charged, I fitted the backing plate to the outside wall. Setting the motion sensor was quick and easy and after a bit of walking up and down the drive (standard car size double drive) I settle on the max (5) sensitivity. It seemed to work fine, but it did pick up the postman walking past so reset to 4. Tested the bell and it works fine on my wife’s phone (samsung), but on my iphone there’s a little more delay. But on the whole and for the price i am very happy with my purchase. Also managed to set the quick answer recordings. Finally, the picture quality is spot on and the range of view cover all my drive and slightly overlaps next door’s drive.
The app is great to see live view, record, or speak to anyone that rings the doorbell. Looks really good and the picture quality is amazing. Also got a gift with my purchase and paid less money than expected. The 32gb preinstalled card is just another bonus among so many. Definitely recommend it.
I purchased this doorbell after trying another similar model from another supplier. This doorbell outperformed the other one in many ways. It is easy to set up and very easy to use. I have had the unit fitted for about 10 days now and battery is still going strong. Very pleased I chose this unit I would definitely recommend this.
Arrived in nice presentable package, in package it had main unit, chime , batteries and memory card.
It used powerful longer batteries which last quite long time once fully charged.
Installation very easy, straight forward, step by step guide included. Once application installed and connected to wifi it’s very easy to use. On connection to wifi make sure to use 2.4ghz connection and 5ghz not supported.
Picture quality quite nice when not directly agains the sunlight on early mornings.
Overall consider it came with batteries, chime and memory card it’s quite nice package.
The doorbell is very easy to set up as the instructions are very clear. I do wonder why the chime does not have a built in charger plug. In fact not a lot of information about charging is given. How do I know when the chime the doorbell is fully charged? I cannot find any information about either. The picture is first class.althoug . I have now checked the night vision and it’s brilliant. Great picture quality both day and night. I now understand that the chime must be plugged in at all times. Problem is, this has been working fine since April 21, but now completely dead. I cannot connect to my new WIFi and it will now not charge up. I have contacted seller three times but no answer. I guess you get what you pay for. Not very happy at the moment.
A video doorbell is the answer I thought; and this easy to set up wireless device is perfect. I say easy to set up as it doesn’t need to be wired up, it just works off a rechargeable battery. I did need to set up the app on her tablet computer ‘CloudEdge’ which is available on either a phone or a tablet. Then the camera part and the chime are both USB charged, so before fitting I made sure they were both fully charged, ready to install.
All the installation tools are provided in the pack, including small screwdriver, screws/rawl plugs, and an Allen key, plus the USB cable for charging. My partner had it installed on the front door in minutes; so ready to test. By pressing the door chime, we are connecting/pairing the device to her tablet; the camera now picks up the image and she can communicate without leaving her chair.
I believe pre-recorded messages can be installed, maybe instructions for a delivery driver, but we don’t need that here; also a micro SD card can be installed to capture images, again not necessary, as my mum rarely leaves the house. However all these extras would be useful for others.
Before leaving we tested out the doorbell several times, the door chime is easily heard; perfectly clear images and audio are coming through, activated by the motion sensor. The batteries will need recharging from time to time, but as it is only going to be used occasionally, I don’t think it is something we need to worry about for a while.
This is a fabulous piece of kit, well made, sturdy and waterproof; and is really helping my mum who can speak to anyone at the door from the comfort of her armchair.
The useful installation manual is clear and precise; the door bell and camera looks good on the door. The whole installation and set up took less than 30 minutes, and I left my mum feeling so relieved and happy.
