These things lasted quite a while after lots of abuse. Lots of skids and burnouts eventually blew them open but it took about 7 months for that to happen. Super stylish, tons of grip and works great on asphalt and on gravel. The white lettering does fade over time as you can see in the picture but overall I’d buy them again.
I was playing with an old 26 inch cruiser frame and built an electric scooter after the development phase it became clear it needed better tires. I needed something more for the street than dirt plus a wider tread foot. These are easy to mount and do so on standard rims. I am running them at 50 psi on the rear and 35 on the front and it has smoothed out the rigid ride a great deal and at the price a really good deal. You can see the before and after photos.
Most of the tires this size only rated to 65 psi which is not enough for a fast electrical bicycle. This tire is rated to 100 PSI. I put on one of my custom recumbent electric bicycles which is the fastest in the world and it could go up to 50 miles an hour and the tire performed amazingly well. Buy it.
Fits on my semi wide mag ebike rim very well with no lumps in the ride like my last tire I purchased at Walmart. The tread and lettering look good. Original tire was 20×2.125. Going up to 20×2.4 looks way better and rides better. I may try 2.6 or 2.8 next time or even a 3.0 wide. Wish this was available in those sizes though.
