I purchased this after my old pump stopped working. For the money I paid it’s quite good. It does what it says on the box but it is a bit slow.
Good quality compressor, not too loud and quickly inflates car tyres. Only reason for 4 stars is due to air loss when removing the screw fitting, I’d recommend getting a quick connect adapter which has solved this.
Purchased and used for the first time in December 2022. Used once since then (today March 17, 2024).
Convenient, Compact and Powerful.
Analogue dial reading is in 2lb steps for PSI lb/square inch reading. So use judgement. I found it compared well with my in car digital dashboard pressure readings.
Fast operating time; just a couple of minutes per tyre, and much more convenient and easier to use than a garage forecourt pump.
Noisy, but not deafening.
Perfect for occasional use, not sure it would last regular use.

I’ve used it, the lead u plug into your cigarette lighter is a reasonably good length no problem pumping tyres up .U get the reading on the clock when u connect and you can set the pressure amount .If I can use this it must b easy I give 5stars its quick and efficient,Highly recomend this pump for anybody who wants something good but easy 2 use.
Absolutely hate inflating tyres at garages.

Quick inflation easy to use totally recommend. Used on Landrover discovery big tyres so was expecting to wait a while but fantastic little pump from totally flat to inflated in 3 mins !
Great pump – easily pumps up my tires. Sometimes it needs a break and overheats (auto shut off) before pumping all four tires. Great though for occasional use. Analogue dial isn’t as precise as I would like.

I have had lots of tyre inflators over the years and so far I am impressed with this. Lets hope it lasts.
I like how it is relatively quiet and it pumps the tyres up much faster than the others I have had. I would have preferred the tyre connection to have a lever rather than the screw on type .
I dont normally like gadgets but this is easy to use and much better than using air pumps at a garage.
My son had one in his car and we relied on it for a long journey this weekend so as soon as we were home I bought one. I have used it today and am very happy with it.
The slight extra bulk of this unit when compared to my previous, similar device is noticeable but it has a much more robust feel about it than most of the smaller ones and it fits well into a space beside the Calor Gas bottle in the vehicle’s under sink cupboard.
This inflator must be worth the full 5 stars as I couldn’t fault it and because it does precisely what it was purchased to do.
Recommended, en”tyre”ly fit for purpose (sorry), good value and it even reached me before the tyre had been deflated for long enough to cause any damage. I’ve since used the pump to inflate the air mattress that I use in the van, the neighbour’s grandbairn’s football – yes, the same neighbour – and the tyre on my ancient wheelbarrow.

The only gripe and it’s very small is that the compressor is quite loud, however if your stuck on a side of a road or you go to your car on the drive and the tyre is low or flat all that’s forgotten, I use it intermittently as I have a slow puncture and I’ve been too lazy to get it sorted. It’s small ,compact and easily stowed in a van or car get one as you never know
This is a good little compressor, small enough to keep in any car, quicker and cleaner than a foot pump and with a good connection to tyre valves. It also comes with adaptors that make beach inflatables a more convenient prospect, too.
My only complaint—and reason for a lost star—is the amount of vibration as it runs. It shakes so much that it has to be held, meaning the user also has to put up with quite a racket. But considering the low price, it’s not a huge problem.
I’m glad I didn’t spend too much on a car tyre pump because this is good enough for what I need. I also have a tyre pressure gauge which came in a breakdown kit, I’d recommend getting one – to quickly check if you need to inflate your tyre (way quicker than screwing most Ring branded tyre pumps on); also, because the pressure gauge on this pump takes a bit of getting used to in that it shows a higher reading than reality while inflating and some air is released when unscrewing… the screw-on / gauge issue is the only reason I give this 4 stars rather than 5.
I did a bit of research beforehand and chose this make as a manufacturer of decent compressors at a fair price. Some of the branded or automotive organisation tie-in ones are stupidly priced and yet offer nothing more really.
This is a simple model but that fits my needs. It stores away neatly and now lives on the boot of the car with the manual pump and tyre pressure gauge.
PROS:
At just under 12 this is very good value in my opinion.
It works! Not had to use in anger so far (thankfully) just topping up the pressure but it’s okay for that.

nothing really – I know others have questioned it accuracy but I still use a manual gauge to verify the tyre pressures.
Long-term reliability is a matter of wait and see I guess, but if manual pumps are anything to go by then big brands and more expensive pumps (or compressors) do not necessarily equate to better reliability and if I am going to have to buy twice I would rather pay less for the privilege.
OVERALL:
I can only comment in respect of my own fairly low usage, but I have found this compressor pump to work okay and be a neat, small and easy to store package. I tend to use it as a back-up to manual pump being old-school but I am pleased to have it there for that purpose juts in case. I can recommend it, albeit somewhat cautiously, as I know that others will use theirs much more often and thus will be testing it more thoroughly.
[UPDATE 12 Jan 2020. I tried the pump again today. Although none of tyres really needed to be ‘topped up’, I decided to pump them up a bit anyway. The pump worked fine and is now three months old. I will check again in 3 to 6 months. Original review and updates follow…]

[UPDATE 31 Oct 2019. I checked the tyres on the other car today and they all needed ‘pumping up’. The front tyres needed about 10PSI each which took about 3 min per wheel. The pump worked flawlessly.

Every few months, I like to check the tyre pressures on the cars. That is all well and good but what do you do when one of the tyres has actually got a bit low and needs pumping up? I used to use a foot pump but recently came to the conclusion that this was far too much effort and takes too long when an electric pump would do the same job in a fraction of the time. The only trouble was that pumps provided with the cars are usually hidden away in a compartment in the boot and it is a bit bit of a ‘faff’ getting them out and putting them away afterwards.
My solution was to buy a pump that I could keep in the garage and would be easy to get out, use and put away.
I didn’t want to spend too much on something that was really just a testament to my laziness but after reading several reviews on several devices, I decided to try the Ring RAC 610.
Because it screws on to the tyre valve, it is a bit fiddly to attach and it does need to be quite tight to stop any air escaping. When in use, it did also strike me as quite noisy – not pneumatic drill levels but it would be very difficult to have a conversation while it is going. Fortunately, it only took about a minute or so to add about 4 PSI (which would have taken about 10 minutes with my old foot pump).
The gauge did not seem particularly accurate – it was showing about 30PSI when my other gauges were showing 34. However as I always double check the pressures with a second gauge, this wasn’t a particular issue for me but I wouldn’t rely on the built in gauge if it is your only way of checking the pressure.
All in all, in spite of the above, I still think this is a good pump for the money. My main concern is that some of the other reviewers have said that their pumps stopped working after a few uses. So, I will try to make an effort to use it every month over the winter and then update this review.
In the meantime, I think 4 stars is a fair rating
