Very padded and sturdy and so warm, I would certainly love gloves this padded. Fit on our tap well and seems to keep it all snug….no issues so far! Certainly good value for two tap covers.

Well made set of two tap covers.
Insulated bag style cover with one open end and a draw string closer. Simply fit over the tap and tighten the cord.
Well made and covers a standard tap without issue.
Good value and should prevent frozen taps in winter.

Easy to fit and fully cover tap.

If I were an outside tap I would this jacket, good quality, sturdy and very well made. You could say it’s the Rolls Royce of tap jackets.

These sit over our external taps eally well. prior to this i was wrapping our taps in paper and styrofoam. nice draw string for secure fixing and insulated suitably well to protect your tap.

So far so good, not frozen taps for me yet this winter. It seems to offer good protection.

There were two protective bags included in the package, one was thicker insulated than the other although they were meant to be the same.

They do, do the job covering the outdoor taps and protecting them from the cold and weather and are easy to fit and remove.

These are really good thick insulated tap covers. You get two to a pack so either keep one as a spare or if you are posh then cover both your outdoor taps!

They are really well insulated and padded, I wore these on my hands for about 5 mins just messing about and they were super warm afterwards.

Fitting them to the tap is easy, the opening is nice and wide to accommodate different tap styles and you simply pull the draw string which is kept tight by a push tightener mechanism. Releasing is easily done by pressing the button and loosening.

I’ve not had a cold snap enough to test these but they are waterproof and windproof so right now I feel pretty confident that they’d stand a decent chill but time will tell.

Very simple to use and should fit most taps as you just pop the sleeve over the tap then pull it tight.
It’s very thick and is perfect for this time of yea

These are great and help to keep those outdoor taps from freezing up.
They’re pretty thick and with the built in draw cord you can stop the biting freeze from entering the jacket helping to protect the tap.
I think they’re a bit pricey though at just under 12 at time of review for a 2 pack but they are made pretty well and can save you money from repair bills if the tap freezes up or bursts.
I think a lot of people neglect to think about protecting their outdoor taps during the winter so this 2 pack will help to protect my outdoor cold water tap and the mother in law’s.
These are perfect for your outdoor taps and a must have.

With the weather changing on an almost daily basis, it can be warm one day and freezing the next. This can play havoc with outdoor pipes and taps. I know a few people already this season who have suffered from cracked pipes. Thankfully, I only have a single outdoor tap to deal with that comes out from the kitchen, but even this is open to the elements. This set of two ‘Outside Tap Cover’ acts like an insulated sock for your taps.

They are simple to use, just place the sock over the tap and pull the drawstring to tighten it. The insulated material protects your taps from the worst of the weather. It is important if the tap is a metal one and exposed. The covers work well, but two in a pack is odd. Most people I know have one outside tap like us. Give the other to a worried neighbour or keep it as a spare. If you look after the one you have, it should last for many winter seasons.

These are like mini duffle jackets but for taps.
They are just a rectangle pocket of thick padded material with a drawstring fasting and a toggle closure.

Very easy to use, just pop over the tap, pull the drawstring so the cover is tight then secure with the toggle.

    So far so good

    Really useful outside tap protection.

These have proved invaluable during the cold spell we have recently experienced.

Great quality to prevent freezing of tap/s to prevent bursts and leaks.

I personally only have a cold water outside tap, which means I can keep the other cover as a spare.

However, for those of you who have hot & cold water taps I throughly recommend these covers.

Great two pack for hot & cold outside taps.

I already have an insulated outdoor tap cover but this pair of covers from WOWPH are significantly larger. In fact, they are so big that I was able to put one over the top of the smaller one that I already had for an extra layer of protection.

The covers are well made with a good filling of insulating material. In terms of thickness, they range from 3cm through to 5.6cm thick at their thickest point, so effectively provide 1.5-2.8cm of insulation around the tap.

The spring toggle drawer fastener makes them very easy to install nice and tightly around the tap. Furthermore, the draw string is set back a little from the edge of the neck so that it leaves a ruffle pressed up against the wall.

It is claimed that the covers are waterproof but I play safe by fastening a Zip Lock or similar plastic bag over the top of them.

I would recommend these tap covers from WOHPH if you are in need of a good quality, easy to install insulated cover for your outdoor tap.

Thank you for reading my review. I hope that you found it useful.

High quality, easy to use, insulating tap covers

It does what it’s meant to do. Keeps the ice off the tap and stops it freezing over.
Only one is the draw string snapped on one of them when I tightened it to keep it on the tap however it didn’t really cause to much issue as I tied string around it.
I would still recommend this as it’s a good price and it’s a 2 pack

There are two in the pack and essentially they are padded bags with a drawstring at the end that you can pull tight to insulate your tap. It is a simple idea but I rather like the simplicity.
The bag is both waterproof and insulated to protect the tap, I have had it now over our tap on some of the coldest days of the year with a big ground frost and I have had no issues at all with the tap, it seems to insulate it nicely. Obviously it is hard to say 100% how effective this is as you don’t know when you would have had an issue without it but with it iv had no problems in some very cold weather (minus degrees). It quite large and does look a little comical on a smaller tap but is it nice and big to accommodate larger taps.
The bag is made nicely and switched well, it is a solidly put together bad inside and out. The drawstring has a toggle that tightens it against the bag, it is quite large and chunky and easy to fasten in cold weather or with gloves on.
I think this is a nice bag ands a simple idea to insulate outdoor taps, iv had no issues since using it and sometimes simple ideas and products are the best.

    Well insulated and large

I used to wrap a piece of pipe lagging around my outside tap to help prevent it from freezing over the winter months and bursting and then a few years ago I bought some tap covers as I thought they would be a much simpler and neater solution. My old one has seen better days and the hook and loop fastening strap had come unstitched, so these ones from WOHPW looked to be an ideal replacement.

I was a little surprised when they arrived as they seemed extremely thin, but soon realised they had been vacuum packed. Upon cutting the plastic bag open, they quickly puffed up to their natural thickness, which happens to be quite a lot thicker than the old ones they are replacing – if you put your hand inside, they do feel nice and toasty.
They are also a little roomier than the old ones, which is useful as they were a bit of a tight fit.

Each cover is essentially a little rectangular nylon pocket with some insulating material inside which can be placed over your outside tap and then secured in place via the simple pull cord and spring loaded toggle.

    ***** Conclusion *****

The covers are a simple but effective way to help prevent your tap from freezing,
They seem pretty well made and should be large enough to accommodate your average sized tap. The quick fitting is great as it takes just a few seconds to restore access to your outside water supply and seconds to cover it again.

I’m not sure how much this product is currently selling for, but I would be happy to pay up to around 12 for a pack of 2 of these covers. I think I paid around 10 for the previous ones I bought and these are definitely a better product.

These tap covers are a good size and feel quite thick, also the outside material is waterproof so they should protect your taps from freezing and also water freezing on the outside of taps. You can tighten the neck of the cover to provide a seal between the tap and cover, which should prevent water getting in that way. The covers are easy to put on and take off when ever you need them. Although its pretty cold right now, it’s not cold enough to fully test if these do prevent your taps from freezing.

Got outside taps? Need some covers?

These are the WOHPW Outside Tap Cover For Winter x 2, Thickened Thermal, Measures 26 x 19cm In Black.

These tap sleeve covers are really thick and will keep your tap from freezing up. It simply slots over the top and them you pull the drawstring to secure. They are big though! That is my only moan, as they do stock out a fair bit and will get knocked.
But they are thick and currently keeping my taps from freezing in this current cold freezing front.

Overall I’d recommend to keep your taps from freezing in this sub zero cold front!

Great pair of big drawstring tap covers

Bags seems well made. Nicely padded. Ample room for our outdoor tap, probs only half filled the length. Discreet enough. Only con is that the string is a bit thin. Makes pulling it tight a little trickier. But string still works well.

Fits well, string a bit thing and cheap
